Hey everybody welcome to this week's live we're going to be covering the easiest way to scale these are things that you know quite frankly nobody else is talking about because quite frankly most people don't know what they're really doing at best they're copy and pasting the things that we talk about but much later so we're going to be covering the biggest easiest win that you can be taking advantage of right now Now full disclosure this is something we talked about in the Facebook ads NBA program um about two months ago and has been massively successful
for folks there we also dressed it inside the disruptive School in a circle last week and people are already adopting it with great success and it's something that I personally have been doing in my accounts for months and I've seen great results with and other people that I know that are doing this have been Running it for I think the longest somebody was doing it for was for the last two years so anyway we're GNA break that down as well as breaking into a case study to show you just how powerful and amazing this new

table for what it is that we should be doing and why this new hack just is so incredibly powerful and and while I called it a hack it isn't really a hack it's just doing the Bare Bones fundamentals that we should be doing so let's break down a couple of things number one the majority of people who are running are covid era marketers they've only ever run Facebook ads when e-commerce was really easy and every Single year we've seen uh somewhat regression from e-commerce being the only way that people shop back to real world shopping
now e-commerce Leap Forward by 3 to five years because of the covid shutdown and we'll never get back to where it was in 2017 2018 Etc that's fine and really good for all of us but what we need to know is that not only is digital marketing getting more expensive every year and we'll cover that in a Minute but also uh great to hear it Elias I I love it awesome um not only is digital marketing getting more expensive every year but we are getting more and more people shifting back into non digital marketing ways
of acquiring things people are getting more and more sick and tired of getting products that are absolutely terrible from brands that don't care about them from people that were basically just setting up simple Shops and and and that's the first thing We're going to get to today why are so why are people more and more likely to shop offline instead of online every single year uh great to hear it Marco so this is the first I'm going to break down today the number one reason why more and more people are moving away from online shopping
to in real world shopping is because the quality of Business Online is honestly terrible Shopify Tik Tock shop Facebook ads and Co made it extremely easy for anyone to Set up a store and to be fair we had a race to the bottom to see who could sell any piece of crap for the lowest price and make the most amount of money and a lot of people really successful the problem is people are now really really aware of just how terrible most of the made online and sold online only items are and to be fair
there's an assumed and proven legitimacy to products that are bought in the store I can touch it it's I can put my hands on it I can feel It and if it was for real why isn't it on sale at Target why can't I get it at the mall it's an online thing it's probably made in China I don't want to wait all this stuff and so there's this big backlash against e-commerce in the marketplace now that's one big thing and we'll address that here in a minute because the honest truth is the barrier to
entry to start a business online has never been lower anybody can set up an Instagram account we'll get to that in a Minute too anybody can set up an Instagram account get a ton of followers sell one or two products and they don't even need a website you can do it all through Instagram shop and if you want to get a website you can absolutely go to Shopify and set one up or wits or woo Commerce or you know uh Squarespace or any other option you can get a website up and running in like an
hour or less right and if you have any product you can sell it like it is really that Simple you don't even have to have the product Drop Shipping is wildly successful and this is by no means uh a place to say that drop shippers are invalid or illegitimate or not real business people they are very real I know a lot of them we have more and more drop shippers join the Facebook ads ba program every single week and and I welcome them the amount of Brands we've been able to start with these drop shippers
is incredible he Minnesota Damian good to see you all right um and so that's awesome the problem is that the quality of these products is really bad and more importantly the amount of people that can get into the game because it's so easy is really high and this brings us to our first point not only are people less likely to buy things online than they were maybe two or three years ago because well the stores are open and because e-commerce is really easy and there's a ton of People doing it the problem is there's a
ton of people doing it there are 5,000 people willing to spend $100 to compete for the sale that you're trying to make today with a completely illegitimate business that might not be there next week that is half a million dollars a day at a minimum right there you have to compete with people who aren't running legitimate businesses people who might make zero sales and the honest truth is it's probably 20 times That there might be 5 to 10 million dollars of people more or less selling kind of what's the yeah your pffs okay more or
less selling the same exact product that you're selling to more or less the same exact customer that you're trying to sell to and to be fair their product probably isn't nearly as good as yours and their business isn't nearly as good as yours but you don't have a moat around your business and they have a catch your ad with some predictive Bidding model and they're going to fail but they'll steal some sales from you along the way that is happening at a scale we've never seen before thousands tens of thousands hundreds of thousands of Facebook
ad accounts Tik Tock shop accounts Amazon Sal are all basically competing for the same dollar that you trying to make but they won't be in business in three months and you're trying to compete with people who won't be in business to try to keep your Business alive and growing that's a massive issue it means that demand for the customer that you're trying to convert is a lot higher and that customer is a little bit less likely than they were last month or definitely less likely than they were last year or two years ago to buy
online now it doesn't mean that online sales are going down they're going up but that's just because of overall Commerce going up the point here is that one of the things That you have to compete with is the fact that your business probably doesn't have a Moe and your business is competing with a whole bunch of people who are just trying to steal from you and they're going to try to steal from you and they're going to go out of business and they're going to struggle Ecommerce isn't dead ebook businesses Aren't Dead info products Aren't
Dead Real World products Aren't Dead lead gen products Aren't Dead SAS businesses Aren't Dead everybody can still make money the problem is there's a lot of folks trying to compete for the money that you're trying to earn with a far substandard version of the product that you're trying to sell and the service that you're trying to render and even if they're trying to sell the exact same product they might sell it at a loss and if they can make 10 sales today and they lose 99% of their money trying to make Those 10 sales that's
10 sales that aren't bought from you so supply and demand there's maybe more people looking to buy but more competition for the dollar they're trying to spend and the demand on their attention is astronomically higher and you haven't built a moat around your business so one of the easiest ways to scale is to start building that moat I'm G get some how to do that here in just a second Charli get down here for a minute bro what do you Say here's your here's your puff cup okay here yeah there you go there you go

piece of cereal or something there you go yeah all right okay awesome so the next thing we're going to get to here How to build a moat around your business remember this is the easiest way to scale if you're still trying if you're still trying to run ads to grow your business if you're still trying to run ads to prove that you have a business what you have is a bad business you should be running ads with the money that you've made from selling product to sell more product so how do we sell more product
without running ads this is step two of the easiest way to scale business Step one is understanding why it is getting more difficult step two is understanding how to begin to build a mode now if you have to run ads to make your business work it means you don't have a good business but there are simple things that you can do to begin to grow it now one of the things that every business should be relying on is developing business Assets Now business assets are often thought of as email accounts and phone numbers for your
SMS Now that's great also business assets is inventory and your website and your other things now past years we've also seen other ways of doing that we'll get to that in step three but remember right now if you're just if you're not currently running email campaigns you should be and I mean aggressively 85% of the money that you're going to make from any email address happens in the first 72 hours and honestly 90% of that is in the first 24 if you're not spamming People in the first few days then you're not actually delivering on
the social contract of them giving you their email address they're not giving you an email address so you can reach out to them two months from now they won't know who you are they're interested in buying right now so why aren't you talking to them right now to sell them something right now right she knows so the point of this is let's begin to think about what we have in our business as business assets That we can grow the value of and leverage more aggressively sure there's emails you should probably have a pop up and
and for those of you that are using like exit intent and other stuff let me ask you this have you ever filled out an exit intent email and then bought from it more importantly are you tracking which email captures are actually worth more money than other ones is it the popup when somebody lands on your site is it the exit intent or Just the form that happens somewhere what email capturing devices are more valuable for your business remember if you're not tracking this information which is super easy then you're making scaling your business extremely difficult
now this is not the you know Switcheroo how to easily scale your business we just got to establish these fundamentals because otherwise nothing else you're going to do is really Meaningful now for those of you that have got your email game you might also be doing SMS hey aome SMS has a great open rate and a reach and all sorts of stuff I get 17,000 text messages every day from Brands where I've hit unsubscribed 14 times and I'm just now pissed to be fair they've gotten my money or I've already made the decision I'm not
going to buy from them now SMS is another business asset meaning that you can acquire it And it has a value okay so let's say that you've got a let's say uh 10% open rate on your emails or more importantly let's say yeah let's say you have a 10% open rate on your email and let's say you have a 10% click through rate and of that you get a 10% conversion rate that means for every 1,000 emails 10% of them open that means 100 of 1,000 open 10% click through rate that means 10 of that
100 actually click and a 10% conversion rate that means one person of Every thousand buys from you now uh hopefully your numbers are better but if it costs you a dollar to get each email address that means every sale that you get from CRM is costing you ,000 now honestly the the truth is you're probably not just wearning straight Legion you're collecting a whole bunch of emails from a whole bunch of places but the point is these are leverageable assets so what other leverageable assets do you have email SMS sure what about Your Instagram and
YouTube and Tik Tok what about your organic audience are you yet thinking about your followers and your subscribers as leads because the honest truth is you probably aren't And if every thousand people that followed you on Instagram resulted in one sale is it any worse than email no can you get an Instagram follower for less than what you would get an email address maybe maybe not here's the point you got to Start looking at things now the reason I bring that up is because girl you got to make a decision you want to go down
okay and then you want to come up okay what do you want okay so you got to start to think about things now in other in in previous years we used to think of the Facebook page like you get as many likes to your Facebook page as possible awesome then the page kind of became dead and then it became all about the Facebook group and the more people you Got in your Facebook group the better it was but that is also kind of Gone by the wayside now full disclosure seven years ago when I was
running 310 Nutrition we had half a million women in our Facebook group and I still think Facebook groups are incredible they're great addendums to your email and your SMS and your other efforts look at Brands like obvy their Facebook group is basically kind of following the path of 310 Nutrition very valuable and there are other brands That are doing it really really well too Facebook groups are powerful how much is a member of your Facebook group actually worth are you even tracking that and the answer is probably not because you don't yet have a video
on your Facebook group as like a welcome video that you've pixeled to see who's watched that video and then cross reference that audience with people who have bought from you you're not doing that you're not tracking the value of your business Assets yet but if you begin to track the value of your business assets you're going to start to see where are those assets worth more than they cost to acquire if you can acquire assets what do you you girl you slid off my lap and then you came back up and you're crying at what
are you trying to do if you can acquire assets for less than they are worth you're going to scale your business now what we're talking about here all of these things None of the stuff we're talking about is running conversion ads because let's be fair conversion ads are one of the most expensive ways to make a sale it's not how you scale a business you do not run ads to make sales you run ads to acquire retention to amplify the way that your business model works because you're already getting sales the purpose of a Facebook
ad is to amplify the funnel that you have Facebook is acquiring more attention which will get you more emails And more Google searches and more Amazon and more site traffic and more followers and more subscribers and more business assets that some of which you can own like email addresses and phone numbers and some of which you won't like site traffic and Facebook group members but you don't have to own that asset girl you don't have to own that asset completely outright for it to have value you can have some of your value owned by others
and it still have value for you So in this space we're going to start to after this break get into how to develop more of these assets so that you can really begin to scale your business how can you begin to build a moat around your brand so that you can have something of value a brand is not just a logo or a customer experience a brand is all of the Assets in your business a brand is your inventory a brand is your followers a brand is your website it's your email list it's your flows
it's Your SMS it's everything that happens if your brand is only a website with some product and no following anywhere on organic no emails and you run ads trying to compete with other people you're one of the other folks stealing from people that are actually doing a proper business all right that'll being said let's get back to some of the comments here because we're getting a little off track all right yes okay now we are in one day ago okay so the secrets tracking Upsells and maximizing profits Haven been searching this for a long time
thanks Charlie how can we do that but with categories well uh Germaine Milano the way that we do this with categories is we can assign any product within that category and what's really important here is you don't necessarily have to do content ID you can do category as a prod as one of the listings in your pixel events most of your products are already listed as a category especially if They're available on Google search so you can Google shopping so you don't have to do necessarily content ID you could do category or collect select copy
and paste all of the content ideasa products in that category now I would not do that last option because it means you have to manually update things every time they change use some D use some logic and some rules and then you'll be good to go all right uh s x LF 1524 okay that was Tough all right uh this is a great video uh about how we scaled a figure uh a seven figure brand to $100 million this is a business that was doing 50 million a month and we got sorry $50,000 a month

not get all the events that I wanted so I decided to manually add purchase and payment events so Register you click on the field all the purchase button so in reality I get all the wrong data no information no money after my experiments my ad account is a mess I've only run the ads for five days so my question for you Chief Love It number one should I scrap everything retry and number two is the issue the events related to not verifying the domain correctly two things here number one uh not verifying the domain correctly
can absolutely create issues Two these bits of data take time it will not happen in real time on day one when you're adding in new data it will go through and debug and validate and all of that stuff so it is unlikely that you're going to see everything fire in the way that you like it to fire H until day two or three so give it time and just work on all the other things you should be doing and that'll probably solve everything as one of those rules of just like turn it off wait five
Minutes turn it back on but in this case you already did all the work just give it time to actually do its job okay you want to get down okay you can get down all right uh gamma Cham thanks for everything how do I know if my 322 ad is ready to move to my Winner's ad set um it's not if it's ready to be moved to the Winner's ad set it's if you need it to be moved mov into your Winner's ad set if you need the post ID of the 322 ad to be
moved to your Winner's ad set And the way that you know that is basically do are my results struggling or can I spend more money if I can spend more money the last thing we need to do is continue to move things around just scale what's already working if you solve the problem don't invest in trying to solve it some more right all right sequa blue I have a conver I have a conversation card business my first game card is dating card game cool I've learned that selecting one ad does well And keep it going
for a few months can Le results awesome for me 300 a month to start girl let me see that oh you're walking around okay uh for me is 300 a month to start then slowly move up when you get more sales that seoa is it makes total sense I love it one ad is literally all you need I've seen plenty of people take one Dynamic creative and go from 300 a month to 300 a day I've seen people take one ad to seven figures you can 100% do it I think understand it This is awesome

colins there's a lot to unpack here and for what it's worth if you're doing that level of stuff I think the Facebook ads ofba program is probably really really good for you because we have a league qualifier calculator there are so many very important things that we need to dive into that I would have to ask from you but the the bottom line is simple You need to understand the value the volume and the cost of all people at every stage of your funnel then you need to understand where you have bottlenecks where that are
consistent versus bottlenecks that are inconsistent and if you have a consistent bottleneck and if you can expand those because of the consistency of the bottleneck we can assume that that expanded volume will also maintain the efficiency and if you can find any place where you can go from Maintain a 2% conversion rate but add 50% more traffic just do more of that the problem here for you is that eight sales calls per day awesome can you handle 18 can you handle 28 if you were to go from eight sales calls a day to 30 is
the conversion rate still going to be 25 the answer to that is almost assuredly no what if you can get your close rate to 30 what if you can get it to 40 what if you got 12 sales calls a day at a 12 At a 20% the problem is this situation is a little too complex to be able to answer simply and I'd like to get you the best quality answer to your question and this is what the Facebook ads NBA program is all about honestly Collins here's what I recommend jump over to disruptor

that uh Advantage Plus audiences are better now than they were 3 months ago they're Better now than they were a year ago the question between using that versus manual targeting is are you trying to get short-term wins or long-term wins the more you use the Advantage Plus Suite the more inhibited your scale will be but the greater your immediate attributed efficiency will be so the simpler your ad accounts and the lower and more attainable your definition of success the more you should be leaning into advantage The bigger your comp the more complicated your marketing efforts
are and the loftier your goals the more you should probably be leaning into manual instead of Advantage awesome let's get uh okay we are finally caught up man we never catch up during the week I love it that we've just done it today okay so five days wining the 322 ad setup which of course you were right outperform any other setup instantly love it prospecting ads are 50 bucks a day is That is a day limit for this week I guess from the page is three years old add account can I okay account is one
okay I just cannot get any reach it's giving me two to 300 Impressions per day so that means that at 5050 bucks you're coming at a $250 CPM that's a problem we're actually going to talk about the solution to that here a little bit later it's a popular belief that if content is good quality and my videos are bssl they get between Five and 9% click theough rate click theough rate doesn't mean anything actually if you're getting a 5 to 9% clickthrough rate that's a sign that yeah your cpms are way too high and your
content is actually really bad meaning that you have an incredible click through rate because only the very smallest little tiniest unscalable group of people actually give a damn that's a bad thing a high CTR is a bad thing you want a lower CTR because Your cpms are low and you're reaching exponentially more people do you want a a 5% uh CTR where it C cost you $250 to reach a th000 people or would you like a 2% CTR where it cost you $20 to reach a th people which one of those is going to bring

I'm so glad that you got to this I'm glad that we got to this Comment because this is where we're trying to get to today so this is point number three and what is the easiest way to scale what is the least leveraged easiest way to not only build business assets to not only get lower cpms and to reach more people but also to program the machine on who wants to see your content so that all of your cpms get lower and to also dramatically improve the reach of your Content both paid and organic what
is the easiest cheapest and most effective way to build a moat around your business what is is the most easiest way to scale in 2025 focus on your organic feed and be willing to spend money to promote it now I'm going to say a thing here that you're going to hate especially been around especially if you're a covid error marketer go ahead and boost your posts yeah now don't do it from your Phone and pay the little percentage boost the point is this if you can start getting followers to your Instagram account if you can
start getting more people to see your content what is that going to do now you might say well I don't want to buy followers if don't care about anything okay what if all of your content was actually really consistent what if all of your content actually was on brand what if you were Able to build an identity around your business let me give you an example of what I'm doing and I'll give you an example of another business a bit of a case study here now this is me these are my reals now if you
start to look at something 100 400 500 and then they start to get a lot higher into the thousands now what do you notice about these they all look and feel the same they all have the same promise in delivery when you follow my Instagram Account you are going to see the exact type of content that you expect it is going to be a b real a b-roll with text overlay that's going to give you actionable Insight let's click any one of these for instance or storytelling let's see this one for for what it is
watch this now this you don't even need the audio here but just that you know it's just some music right something in the Background right this really empowerful really good information right cool what about this any one of them this one what's this okay it's actionable information right this is a brand this is an expectation right what's this one over here boom what's that want 100,000 profit okay this is the promise and now we're going to deliver these are all consistent now why this really matters is you might say well I can't do That for
my business I have an e-commerce business I couldn't possibly do that okay so let's dive into an e-commerce business and see what they're doing let's check out dad gang they're successful they've been doing what we're talking about for years or for at least one year if not two look at this content it's pictures of dads with their kids wearing the Hat over and over again right when you follow this account you know what to Expect I'm going to see guys with their kids happy all right here's different products okay cool look at this now the
comment section here isn't like he's getting a thousand comments this random one had 132 likes right the some of the ones I showed you had 50 likes other ones had 5,000 doesn't matter the point is it's consistent here's another one awesome 115 likes nice little comment section cool what about this one this One is actually a video now this video thanks so much uh for T and Jasmin um Tanya and Jasmine for tagging Us in this video well let's go here what what what did they do oh oh they took this video ripped it and
reposted it because you can 100% do that they're championing their customer and what is the content it's an announcement of a baby and it's a fun video featuring their product the point here is this entire Instagram account is a Version of their website your Instagram account should talk about what you do it should be a version of your website I remember when this was at like 50,000 it's now at 234,000 do you think their Facebook ads when they have 234,000 followers do you think their Facebook ads are struggling to get out of learning or do
you think their Facebook ads are hyper efficient because the machine is starting with a quarter Million people people who have already said we want to follow this business when the first thousand Impressions come out do you think Facebook is showing complete strangers even abroad targeting or is it showing it to people who look like this right let's look at this post this post say 200 likes let's say they launched an ad on this day do you think any of the people that like this 202 times saw that ad Probably now maybe that person already bought
maybe they didn't does it matter no because they have a good business they have a business set up for people to potentially buy a second time now what I love about Dad gang here is their website is stupid simple it is a free Shopify thing let's go to it real quick this is not sexy this is their homepage that's it because they're delivering on the promise you understand what I'm saying Here now the point of this is simple Gang has been promoting their posts for years you can promote your post too now the easiest thing
for you to do here is what if we made an audience of all the followers we had what if we made a lookalike of that audience what if we targeted a lookalike of this audience excluding our current audience and showed them all of our content how many of those people do you think would Follow what do you think the cost per lead would be if we begin to look at all of these as potential customers because to be fair do we really think an Instagram follower is less effective as a lead than an email address
remember when we said if you have a 10% open rate on a thousand emails that's a 100 people that open what if you have a 10% click to rate on that that's well now now that's 10 people that clicked out of a thousand That you sent it to okay and let's say you have a 10% conversion rate that's one buyer out of every thousand do you think they can make 234 sales because if you think they can make 234 sales out of a quarter million Instagram followers then what you're telling me is your Instagram follower
is as valuable as an email address I'd argue it's more valuable and you're like well but I can send out emails and reach all the people I want to okay great Post respect your organic social this is the easiest way to scale now let's look at their stories for instance look at this oh it's just customers they've taught their customers how to engage with their business take pictures of your product we'll share it there you go they're championing their customer they've taught their customer how to behave and they're growing their business this is so easy

five minute Fridays are subscribed so Let's go ahead and fix that we are on our way to getting over a thousand new subscribers every single week this is amazing all right that being said let me uh kind of lay it out there and tell you that five biggest boldest theories that I have for your success in 2025 starting with something that we already more or less know to be true the writing is on the wall so let me tell you about this prediction number five ad agencies are going to have to simplify to survive I'm
A simple man making his way through the Galaxy Brands don't need to pay agencies smash buttons for them ultimately they're going to be partnering with those that can simply and most profitably scale the business we are seeing more and more Brands understand that a complex ad account is a failing ad account and they're going to prioritize people that can do things well and explain them simply with the rising cost of mismanaging Facebook ads As well as the rising number of alternatives on where you can place ads to grow your business the value of the volume
of your work is all but going away in favor for the value of the work that you actually do and that kind of brings us to prediction number four app Loven will more or less collapse as a viable media platform everyone's been talking about app Loven and it's been a lot of fun and a lot of easy money has been made there But ultimately its viability as an alternative to Facebook and Google will more or less completely die by summer of 2025 they are selling ad inventory at below cost to get more users they are
trying to drive up their stock price like a meme stock because they are funded and trying to grow their user base unit economics will force Apple to begin to raise the cost of advertising because there just won't be any more places to run ads so in February when Cost caps break yet again like they do every single year I Told You So what'll happen is more more dollars will go to a space doesn't have more and more available inventory for ads and the reason that those cost cap break isn't because Facebook is broken it's because
more and more people are less and less interested in spending more and more money the unit economics of the market changes so if you're betting on App 11 for your 2025 it's time to start Rethinking your strategy prediction number three AI ad creation will begin to dominate now it's not a terribly well-kept secret that Facebook has been using AI not just in copy but also for Creative ad creation for the last several months I personally spent well over a million dollars on ads that were completely created in their own version of mid Journey now the
reason this is super sexy is you're asking the platform To create content for its users that it knows its users want to see to sell the product that it knows its users want to buy now over the last 6 years we've seen anybody trying to compete with Facebook's AI lose like if you're still running manual bids to specific custom audiences with ads that you build yourself you're going to be wildly beaten out by anybody doing lowest cost with auto targeting in a DCT on a CBO you're going to lose and I don't think It stops
there honestly we're going to see the same thing happen in Tik Tok we'll probably see the same thing happen in YouTube like this only makes sense the fact that any platform won't have this natively within the next 18 months blows my mind and I don't have any faith that that's going to be the landscape prediction number two Instagram accounts are going to take the lead over web sites for how brands are really building a motent identity it's like winning more And more brands are going to start to learn that they should start treating their Instagram
followers like leads Instagram audiences are super high intent and very cheap to acquire promoting your organic posts only helps the visibility of other organic posts that you make and most importantly followers build brand loyalty which leads to cash flow in the future money brands that want to last will start building their brand this is the next Logical conclusion now this is really going to hit for brands that are being restricted on their advertising like health and wellness and politics and stuff like that and you're going to see Instagram accounts thought of in the same way
as Facebook groups or Facebook pages before that this is just the next logical step of the same thought process that has worked for the last 10 years prediction number one advaned shopping campaigns to your homepage are going to Dominate as the single most most effective and scalable Facebook campaign that you're going to see over 80% of advertisers leverage especially anyone unable to get more than one campaign live they could be only one it makes an ad account super simple and easy to manage you have one campaign you throw your stuff in there and you scale
it if the results are good it allows Brands to not have to focus on complex funnels and a lot of creative testing just take what Works in your Instagram account and run it as an ad to your homepage and lastly it allows anyone whether you're spending 10 bucks a day or 10,000 to basically run your entire ad account on something that leverages what you already do well with your organic social media and a catalog campaign so you can let Ai and all of the machine do all of the work so you can get back to
