have you ever wondered if the promises God Made To You Will Truly Come to pass have you found yourself waiting praying and hoping yet feeling like nothing is changing it's easy to feel discouraged when we don't see immediate results but today I want to remind you of a powerful truth God's promises never fail the Bible tells us in numbers 23:19 God is not a man that he should lie nor a son of man that he should repent has he said and will he not do or has he spoken and will he not make it good
God is Not Like Us he doesn't break his promises what he says he will do we see this over and over again in scripture think of Abraham God promised him descendants as numerous as the Stars yet for many years there was no child but Abraham believed not because of what he saw but because of who God is Romans 4:20 to 21 says he did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief but was strengthened in faith giving glory to God being fully convinced that what he had promised he was also able to perform Abraham's
Faith wasn't dependent on his circumstances and ours shouldn't be either just like Abraham we're called to trust God even when things don't make sense even when the promise seems distant let me give you a modern-day example imagine someone like David a young man who has been praying for a breakthrough in his career He's been Faithful followed God's leading applied for jobs and gone to interviews yet no doors have opened maybe you've been in a similar situation waiting on a promise from God whether it's for a job healing or guidance it's easy to get frustrated or
feel forgotten but Isaiah 5511 reminds us that God's word does not return empty it will accomplish what he desires and achieve the purpose for which he sent it The Waiting season is not wasted time God's word is working in ways we can't see trusting in his timing is one of the hardest yet most important parts of our faith Journey Ecclesiastes 31 says to everything there is a season a time for every purpose under Heaven God's timing is perfect even when we don't understand it the Israelites experienced this firsthand after God delivered them from slavery in
Egypt they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years before they reached the promised land many doubted if they'd ever get there yet Joshua 21:45 declares not one of all the Lord's good promises to Israel failed everyone was fulfilled it took longer than they expected but God's promise stood firm and the same is true for us today so what does it mean to live out these promises in our daily lives it means means we trust God even when things look Bleak it means we pray and surrender to his will daily reminding ourselves that he is faithful
Philippians 4:67 tells us be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and Minds through Christ Jesus we have to take an active step of faith when we believe what God has promised we don't just sit idly by we step out in obedience we align ourselves with his word knowing that he will fulfill his promises in his perfect time so today I ask you what promise are you waiting on what has
God spoken into your life that seems distant or even impossible maybe it's a personal breakthrough healing or Direction Whatever It Is God has not forgotten you his promises are true and they will come to pass as we close I invite you to pray with me trusting that God is working even when we can't see it Heavenly Father we thank you for your faithfulness we thank you for the promises you've spoken over our lives help us to trust you in the waiting strengthen our faith and give us peace in the process we know you are working
