many years ago my best friend and I rented our first place together it was completely furnished including dishes sheets and everything else which worked for us since we didn't have any furniture or anything else an older lady showed us the home but she said her son was the owner and he lived a few hours away by the coast it was a three-bedroom but she said one bedroom was used for storage so it stayed locked since we only needed two bedrooms that was fine but it was still a little unsettling wondering what was in that locked room also it was like the previous owners had just picked up and left there was still items in the night stands and there was even a stack of Playboy in Penthouse magazines in my closet the home seemed to be built on a slab but the kitchen had a small step up and heard it but didn't want to mention it to the other one so that was eye opening to have it confirmed the next creepy Thing Happened One Night as I was about to go to bed my boyfriend at the time worked a second shift job so he would occasionally drop by on his way home from work I usually knew when he was coming and I wasn't expecting him but I clearly heard the doorbell ring the home was an older home probably built in the late' 40s and it had one of those old really loud buzzer style doorbells you would definitely not mistake this sound for anything else of course I thought it was him so I immediately go to the door but no one was there and there were no car lights leaving the street was straight going in both directions for a ways so I would have definitely seen a car leaving there was no question in my mind that the doorbell had rung so the hair was now standing up on the back of my neck there's nothing worse than feeling alone in that situation so I went to wake up my roommate but no matter what I did how hard I shook her or how loud I called her name she would not wake up she had never been difficult to wake up so this freaked me out even more after trying to wake her for at least 15 minutes I just had to go back to bed pull the covers over my head like a child and try to fall asleep I later talked to my boyfriend and he said he had not dropped by so that was unnerving to say the least the last experience was definitely the strangest though in the hallway there were three heavy objects attached to the wall that were like antique fs/ Outdoor Equipment I can't quite remember what two of them were but they were all really heavy and made of wood and the one I remember was like a rake but completely made of wood again they were heavy one day I was in the shower and I heard a loud noise and the next thing I know my roommate came in and is beyond freaked out she tells me I have to hurry out to see what the noise was so I quickly get out to see that all three of these heavy items had fallen onto the floor at the same time there was honestly no reasonable explanation for it to have happened we were in a lease so we just couldn't move out but shortly thereafter the owner decided he was going to put the home on the market he ended up being a huge pain although we never met him he came to the house and just my roommate was home being young and naive she felt obliged to let him in although he had clearly been drinking it left her very uncomfortable and then he showed up at my work soon after he sued us saying we'd ruined the carpet but we'd only lived there for about 6 months and the carpet was the same as when we moved in we had to hire a lawyer and we won the case the whole thing was so bizarre I didn't mention yet that there was a small addition on the back of the house that was also on a concrete slab right off the stepup kitchen and made me wonder if he had added it and if there was an ulterior reason why the whole situation was creepy including the landlord and it made me wonder if he or something he had done caused the activity at the house here's my creepy pizza delivery story from college when I was in school I got a job delivering pizzas late at night typically I would work until about 2:00 a. m. it was a shitty job and the shop was extremely dirty and unsanitary and it was falling apart but I typically made really good tips so it was worth it I'm female I was 19 at the time and it's summertime in Colorado so even at night it's still fairly Warm An important detail for later this was my second weekend on the job so I was still getting used to it but I'm already a paranoid person so I preferred just dropping off the pizza taking my tip and then leaving right away wait for the next delivery I pretty much never went inside the person's house and if I did I would just step inside real quick but leave the door open it was pretty close to midnight when I got a delivery to a house on the east side of town it was supposed to be my last delivery of the night I pulled up to the house and it looked pretty normal from the outside the street was really dark but I didn't feel uncomfortable I walked up to the door and knocked this big shirtless old guy with a beerbelly answers the door and tells me to come inside I got weird vibes from him off the bat I declined to come in and try to just give him his pizza really ought to be going back to work I'm still holding the pizza too and thinking about just running out the door at this point she gives up on trying to make me eat the bread she walks back into the kitchen then the man says let me find you some change for your tip he starts looking around the living room digging through the couch cushions trying to find change to give me I tell him to forget about it and that I don't need the tip that he can just take the pizza but he insists on finding a tip for me he spends the next several minutes searching his stuffed animal in fested living room for didn't think much of it and headed back to the store almost exactly when I arrived back another order popped up to the same house he had ordered the exact same thing I was confused but still not too worried and took the delivery and had the same experience no lights on smelt bad and he didn't say a word I headed back to the store feeling pretty uncomfortable but again I didn't think too much of running up to my car I couldn't move for a second because I was in shock he was yelling something that I couldn't understand I sped away as fast as possible given that I was shaking like a leaf we blacklisted him that night after he made several attempts to call the store I still have no idea what his endg game was so I hopped on Discord with my friend and before we even started chatting and we even took the headphones off my boyfriend was across the house playing video games and I asked him and he said he never said that and didn't leave his room even though the entire thing was only 30 seconds and I doubted it was him in the first place and I know for 100% certain that I didn't speak those words out loud loud I don't talk to myself and if I did I wouldn't forget what could this have been this is really freaking me out especially because it wasn't even the exact thing I said it was hungry switched with thirsty my friend was genuinely scared and would never make this up and is really serious all the time I fully believe him and that's why I'm so freaked out this is when I lived in a shitty trailer park in Coconut Creek with my family I don't exactly recall what age I was but my sister was old enough to babysit me we lived in a really shady trailer park and my mom was pretty close with our female neighbors my mom came driving down our street when she saw two of our neighbors who were also her good friends standing in front of the yard as she drove towards the house they kept staring at scowling at her they looked completely disgusted and my mom had no idea why again with a smile I declined again and thankfully she took a step back from my car and I was able to quickly back up without running her feet over and I got the hell out of there she stood there smiling and staring the whole time that I backed out of that way too long driveway I have no clue what that was all about but I always get really hesitant anytime I have to deliver orders for anyone named Melissa now I worked at Jimmy John's for almost 2 years and had a few weird encounters once I delivered to a little rundown motel that was rented out by the week and was mostly inhabited by low-income families or addicts I had been there on several occasions and it was nothing special just someone getting food and them not tipping as was expected for this place but the last time I went was wild I knocked on the door and the guy opened it to just a crack and looked through at me and asked who I was I told him I was delivering his food and he opened the door and told me to come in not was hiding out at this motel and that there was a very deep Citywide conspiracy happening revolving around him finally he gave me the money and I left he has a YouTube page I wish I could find again that had videos that are all 20 plus minutes long rambling about the conspiracy all while wearing ing his tidy whes sitting in that motel room I haven't worked there in 5 years but I went in there a few weeks ago and I asked if they still had the note on the delivery map saying not to deliver to him or that motel room number they do does anybody else have any weird delivery stories I work at a restaurant and cover many roles my favorite of which is delivering food since it allows me a chance to engage people and use my personality to make tips last summer we had a tough time finding full-time delivery drivers who could pass a drug test so about 80% of my time was spent on the road and quite a few of my deliveries were to a local college campus I took an order for a young man who the food and drive over to the campus to make the delivery the girl is not waiting in the lobby like she should be so so I have an ra run up to her room to get her the girl makes her way down eventually and tells me she did not order anything I tell her it's no problem because her boyfriend ordered it for her and I read his name off of the credit card receipt the girl then loses her and starts having a panic attack apparently she did not have a boyfriend and the guy in question had been stalking her since high school and it somehow followed her to another state where she wanted to to attend college she had no idea how he found her or figured out where she lived and she was deeply upset that he now knew exactly where she was in her building and when she wasn't I tried to calm her down but an RA saw her freak out and called campus security who I then had to deal with for the next hour the guy who ordered the pizza would not answer any of my calls this time a week goes by with no more word from the creek until we finally get a call from him wanting us to deliver more food and this time if one of us would pick up flowers for her as well I put him on hold and grab our GM who then informs him that we will no longer accept any orders that he places and that the police will be notified if he tries to harass anyone using our store again this was about a year ago and he hasn't called to place an order since the GM scared him away however we would get orders placed through the internet for the girl with creepy messages for her on them for months we deleted the orders every time but that bastard was very persistent for a quick update at work tonight my GM came in to help out during a late night rush and I asked him about it he has no clue if the girl was able to press charges against him for anything but someone who used to work for him at another store knows the creeper and the guy ran out of money and had to move back out of state and into his parents house a few months after the whole incident and I guess the reason we got the orders placed online instead of over the phone was because he was doing it from out of state and did not have a cell phone either way he was a long way from the girl and I assume she was able to finish college in relative peace my boyfriend who I live with works as a teacher in town about 15 minutes away by train he gets home more or less at the same time every day give her take an hour or so I on the other hand work from home in late January of this year we'd gotten into a pretty big fight about something stupid I can't even remember what it was about now now but it was one of those fights where we didn't speak to each other text call or anything the whole next day so this afternoon I was laying in bed getting work done
