all of you live from your perspective and you've been living life from this perspective and you all live in the movie that is you where you are the hero and you are at the center you are living in the movie that is you where in your movie who Am I a secondary character a background character even though you're here to see me at this event I'm just the entertainment that's it it's like if you watched a James Bond movie and James Bond goes and like having a sip of a was it a martini or something
or a I don't even know whatever he drinks at the bar and then there's like a a performer behind that's me I'm the performer and you're sitting here in your life and you're like okay I'm here at this Julian thing you might enjoy it you might not but you're still the hero same with you you're sitting here you're like okay I'm also here at this Julian thing and this guy here next to me is just an NPC filling a seat you're probably thinking the same about her here's another NPC filling the seat all these background
characters and everyone thinks that now what it means is that you are the hero of your movie but you're not the hero of anyone else's movie you're just a background character which is very freeing so if you're worried about what do people think of me they're thinking nothing of you because they don't notice you and if they do they forget you so freeing right now for some it could be depressing for your ego it's depressing because you're like well no I live to impress others right the saddest thing I heard recently was someone on Instagram
post um they have uh it's like I create an enemy list so someone said this and then even an acquaintance of mine reposted this said I love I resonate with this so what's an enemy list it's all the people whoever doubted you made you feel bad who you're going to prove wrong all the kids in high school maybe you go and get a coffee and someone's a little rude you're like you're going on my enemy list and the whole point is that the larger the list not in terms of Revenge like not about getting revenge
but it's prove them wrong like use that as motivation to succeed to stunt on them so one day you can go and say look at me now I proved you wrong how sad and pathetic is that why cuz now you're living in reaction to them it's not even authentically and here's the other thing they don't even care about you you think you're going to prove them wrong do they care they're busy with their lives I fell into this trap earlier on by the way back in 2010 2011 I posted I remember a a picture of
one of my first speeches and it was a big crowd and I posted it and I thought all my high school friends or university friends and people in Switzerland where I'm originally from uh which hey everyone confuses us Sweden Switzerland um they'll all finally say whoa this Julian guy I doubted him but I never should have look how cool he is there's people in a crowd listening to him I posted that did anyone care no there's like a couple likes one comment nice it's like so literally that magical moment like think about it like I
used to be so shy by the way and very nervous I was not popular at all so say it's like you're this not popular kid at school and you see all the movies the nonp popular kid becomes the rock star of this and proves them wrong and and then it's like the the classmates show up at the concert can we get in he's like no it's full like the magical moment no one cared why cuz they moved on it wasn't a big deal for them and they're busy with their lives yet we create this deep
meaning no most people you think I'm going to to prove them wrong they already forgot about you you're not that important guess what all those School bullies growing up you think they think about you no they bullied you because you're already a nobody in their mind you think years pass and be like hey remember that person I bullied I wonder what they're up to no you're already gone you that's it and even if they see something they're like oh cool back to my problems and it's not just your problems it's now you're also competing with
the news hey everyone from my past what's on what nuclear war what AI you think your comeback story is going to compete with that no you're not that important you're a nobody in the eyes of others like interesting perspective is what if I were to die what if you were to die what if we all were to die how long would people actually think about you not that long right think of uh Betty White is Amer America she accomplished a lot more than any of us yeah do you think about her think of the Queen
of England how much she accomplished you think about her on a daily basis now you might you might argue like well she sucked and she did this okay well do you still think about her on a daily basis in a hateful way could be loving or hateful do you think about her at all no just even think of that messed up submarine incident do you think about it still no maybe a little bit during and now you're like oh it imploded that's the reaction most people like I wish it was more exciting than that and
then you move on and you forget about it it's dark but that's how we operate we're too busy with what's going on in front of us so your anxiety don't worry about it people will forget beyond that too the world's getting dumber and I know this speech sounds like a downer it's like well there's this and no one cares and people are getting dumb and but it's leading to a very Illuminating point and it's also meant to in a way disillusion you from this ah I'm so important and more importance will help no it's actually
the more you realize you're not important and no one cares the more freeing it is right if no one cares you can do what you want you can be you you think all the cameras are on you you think you're like a celebrity fans fans fans fans there are no fans it does re if you think you're a celebrity does realizing there are no fans is it fun no you're like I'm just a has been yeah you're worse than a has been you're no one but then well there's no one to impress then I can
just be and that's the thing even if people do notice you attention spans are going down notice how even on social media most people can't sit through 15 seconds a 15-second Instagram story is already too long you're like next next next next next like two seconds is already too long you're like get to the point come on right you're on Tik Tok it's scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll we're just on this go go go go go now on a society level this is a bit concerning meaning that uh a lot of the impactful knowledge that
does change us or change society requires a certain amount of focus that we no longer have so the Deep conversations we must all have as as a whole as a society we can't even pay attention long enough to get to the point so we're shooting ourselves in the foot there but that's a whole other issue um as well with again the whole PC politically correct culture a lot of the conversations we need to have as a society are very nuanced and because no one's willing to get nuanced because if you're Nuance anything could be taken
out of context we stay very surface level so the solutions are actually nuanced where we won't go and even if we were to go we don't have the focus or the attention span to follow it to the point so as a society we're screwed but for you and your own anxiety it's very Fring meaning we are also living now in in the world of Idiocracy anyone see that movie yeah it was a comedy back in the day it's now reality it's very sad people are getting dumber and dumber and dumber same with human connection social
intelligence emotional intelligence people are getting more and more isolated more and more disconnected from reality where we're living in different little bubbles right just think of on a surface level the movie that is your life right now we're all in the same room all in the same physical reality but we're all living in different mental emotional or energetical realities the movie that is me well guess what the more isolated you become or if you if you talk to people solely through social media or text or your phone or your computer well then it's easier to
also become create certain Echo Chambers you could say and then this is something if you watch the Netflix documentary the social dilemma it argues that the more isolated we become and with social media we reach a point where there's no longer their shared reality well right now we're all in different realities but we're in a way sharing this physical reality right well if we eliminate that you could reach a point where there's no shared reality at all between two people in which case they're not even a person in your mind it's like an alien or
an animal and then things won't get good but let's bring it to a little less negative okay that's just what's to come um on your end this means that you're free be yourself no one cares about you and ultimately you're the only one living your life so why are you trying to impress people who aren't living it it also comes down to self-respect your own well-being comes first why would you sacrifice your own well-being for the approval of someone else or something that doesn't matter and even if you think of approval and disapproval no one
can actually approve or disapprove of you because they're not you do any of you know me yes no no you know nothing about me now for those of you who might have been following my content for some while for for a long time you might know more than others but even then you don't know anything about me do you know what I do on a day-to-day basis do you know what I do in my free time no no unless you're like a stalker in front of you like well yes I do Julian you thought no
one cared about you but I care right now that could happen and yes it does if you are me there are a few people there's one specifically who's been messaging me on Instagram for a month and a half now every five minutes day and night I thought it was a manic episode at first but it's non-stop day and night he doesn't sleep just messages me crazy stuff um so if I do die check my Instagram DMS um now unless you're me no one no one cares but but back to the point none of you know
me you know parts of me that I'll put out there but even with the parts of me that I put out there you still filter that based upon your reality your focus and blind spots so for a lot of you who you think I am is simply what you project on to me let that land none of you truly know me and even my closest friends family kids they don't know me either cuz no one is me they'll know me better than anyone else but they won't know me as well as I know myself same
here no one knows you as well as you know you so you are the only expert at being you anyone else's opinion A lot of it is speculation and projection so it really doesn't matter it's the same as if I was like hey do you guys care about um my opinion on how we make iPhones do you want me to give you a speech on how we make an iPhone no well why I'm I'm Jude and Blan you don't want to hear about my take on this do you want to know how we make uh
submarines too soon maybe that company would hire me they're like yes tell tell me no I know nothing about making submarines I know nothing about making iPhones at all so my opinion really doesn't matter well hey if you would take my opinion seriously when it comes to that why are you taking other people's opinion seriously when it comes to you it's the same thing they don't know you so why does it matter here's what I think of you cool but you don't know me so my opinion is more important because I'm the one who's been
me it's like if you're an expert at your job like what do you do uh Finance Finance yeah say you went to order a burger at McDonald's and someone at the register was like hey can I give you some Financial advice yeah are you going to take it seriously no yeah what if they're like I disagree with what you think you'd be like oh no no you're like well no I know I know more than you just do that context same here if I came up to you and I said you suck I don't like
you you suck you're not good enough okay what's your mind saying like cool but I know I am because I'm me and you don't know me I hope exactly yes if not then that's because that's the other thing if not then there's letting go to be done but on a purely logical level you should know that it's the good old blue hair example you might have heard me talk about I hate your blue hair it's disgusting how do you feel nothing I hate your blue hair look at his blue hair everyone how disgusting is that
you like um I don't I don't have blue hair screw your blue hair and yours and yours all of you you all you all have blue [Applause] hair do you feel offended I hate all of your blue hair there's one person at the back like like runs out no you're not going to feel offended because you're like well I don't have blue hair what is what have anyone had that in the crowd when you said that well I mean look back there one person's running out right now yeah it's okay no come back no but
let this land you're not offended because you're like I know I don't have blue hair anything I say about you here's what I think of you same thing it's like well you don't know me and this applies to I hate your blue hair or your blue hair is the best ever if someone says you suck you're like I'm just me you're awesome I'm just me nothing enhances nothing diminishes literally other people's opinions should affect you this the same as say you're out and about and a little kid runs up and says you suck and runs
off are you going to be like are you going to take it seriously you're like yeah that's cute move on with your day you're out going for a walk little kid runs up you're not good enough H runs off are you going to be offended someone up you're ugly runs off you don't make enough money runs off right notice how we're all kind of chucking like that's cute yet if someone actually says that we're like hurt forever and triggered well no the realistic response would be the same as a little kid giggling and running off
what everyone thinks about you it's like doesn't matter they're not you and so much is projection right you can also just take a look at the crowd here and this is an exercise I like doing at different Live Events is look at the people around you and pick three in your mind three people you don't know so take a moment have a look pick three people that you don't know in your mind don't tell them who but just look around and pick three people now out of the three people you picked I want you to
ask yourself which one do I like the least say you're all stuck on a submarine and there's minimal air and you had to kill one person to save oxygen who would you kill don't tell them you no but in your head you picked one here's the followup I want you to ask yourself why did you pick that person what about them stood out and you can sing into the negative for a lot of people it's like well they kind of reminded me of my ex they reminded me of my parents they seem smug they seem
mean they seem toxic oh that's a narcissist face right there blah blah like whatever the reason is and I usually do this during transformation Mastery live very early on you're paired in groups and people do this and then halfway through the event once you gets to know each other better I'm like hey remember who you'd pick what do you think about that person now and because they get to know them better their realness 99% of the time their first assumption was completely off meaning that what made you decide to pick that person whatever that person
triggered within you and whatever you projected onto them so it actually has nothing to do with them now what does that mean for you is that what people think of you often times it's what you trigger within them it's what they project onto you right guess what me being myself right here loud expressive and amazing is very polarizing and it's going to trigger people in two ways one is people might Place me on a pedestal and a lot of what I teach is hey I'm no different than you I'm like you you just have to
do the inner work there's nothing that I have that's missing in you I'm not on a pedestal but that is one reaction the other reaction is instead of judian pedestal the other reaction is screw this guy who does he think he is and they'll get mad but both are projections it's what I'm triggering within them it's what I make them feel about themselves so in the end no one can really approve or disapprove of you they project they speculate they have an image of you and what their opinion is of you isn't actually of you
but of the image they have in their mind and that's also free so in the end the only opinion it matters is your own no one else's right ultimately the opinion that really matters is you on your deathbed how do you feel about the person you were how do you feel about the decisions you made and like I said it's a little cliche but let this land you're the only person living your life no one else is anyone who says anything or even criticizes you or your life they're not living it so why do you
sometimes Place their opinion over yours it's like you're in the arena say it's a UFC game you're like ready to fight and someone's like use your left hand use your left hand you're like you're not fighting it's me fighting that's here you suck you suck you should do this no stop selling out you're living it it's your life in the end you're the only one who's going to look back at the experience that was you being here alive no one else is and it's that opinion that matters and then lastly stop living in reactions stop
playing not to lose or to impress or to prove your enemies wrong live for you and live a life so that when you die you look back and there are no regrets that are in your control meaning the number one regrets if you look up the list you can Google it number one regrets are I wish I would allow myself to be happier take more risks do what I love stop caring so much about what other people think all that's in your control if you know they're the top regrets why you still doing it that's
like if if you take the smoking cigarette pack there's like those disgusting images on there right it's like a hole in the throat the rotting teeth all this crazy stuff that's what it's like to Google the top regrets it's people on their deathbed telling you don't smoke don't live like this live for you and if you don't listen and you keep living the regular go-to that's like you saying uh-huh one more pack please no take the warning live a life so that when you die you're like yes I lived it for me no one else
and I'm proud of the life that I lived and there are no regrets that are in my control and that's up to you because trust me you're not going to care about did I prove my enemy list wrong on your deathbed you're only going to care about what did other people think of me when I said this or did this doesn't matter all you cared about is how did I feel did I say true to myself and was the experience a life epic and did I milk life for everything that it's worth that's what matters
and don't wait till someday CU that day may never come last final Doom and Gloom you could die at any point the ceiling could collapse right now we're dead how would you feel I wish I had more time to what do you mean you wish you had more time to do it I wish I had more time to someday H someday that should be banned from your vocabulary that's like saying a very toxic non-politically correct word someday one day I should I really gota you know what I should I really should I should do this
that's the vocabulary of procrastination and putting things off that's also the vocabulary of someone who's not aligned with reality who thinks they're going to live forever you're not you could have a brain aneurysm right now seriously you could leave this seminar room get hit by a car and dead and that's it do not wait
