hi hope you're doing well one of the problem that both students face or encounter is finding a very good essay kind of a prototype answer uh let's say for example an example by itself they can use for the future essays this is a problem that most students find like either for example when they study at University one of the problem like most of the time uh the Prototype answer is given in points not like the whole essay the same thing for example when they want to prepare for the PHD entrance exams they can't find like
a how they can write a very good essay and this is also a question that I find often I'm trying to answer how can I write a good academic essay and so most of the time uh we find like for example just kind of small paragraphs but not like the full essay so in this video what I'm going to do I'm going to try to answer one of the question that I have uh given to my students in my ma in my research methodology class the question that I have already shared once in my YouTube
channel but I have only provided the introduction and then so many followers on Facebook or subscribers in my YouTube channel that told me hey you need to complete pleaser the answer because we want to understand how all the elements are written and how do they fit all together especially when it comes to the development and also when it comes to the conclude conclusion so let's start first so this is the question in front of us as you can see the choice of each research data collection tool entails a unique set of considerations strategically navigating through
potential advantages disadvantages as well as ethical concerns discuss reflecting on your own research so let's start first because last time I have explained this very and I said students have to be very careful when it comes to reflecting on your own research means that there is it's not just you are going to provide everything but it's kind of link to the choices you have made in your research now how can I answer this for example I sit in an exam or I have an PhD entrance exam how can I answer the first thing we know
that you need we need to highlight the keyword so you have the choice of each research so we have first this the the choice of each research uh data collection tool of course now tail and ta unique set of considerations that related to the choice strategically navigating through potential advantages okay this is maybe another keyword disadvantages and ethical concerns okay and of course you have reflecting on Research means that also is going to be a vital part in the whole process now and this is the issue here most students do they start they think that
when they start the introduction they have to kind of reformulate the question again and only at the development and here I would not agree with them look the way I use it or the way I think about it and the way I have been thought the introduction is everything it's kind of the answer by itself it's the summary of the answer so that's why we call the introduction and there is the development so you provide the answer and only at the level of development you kind of develop it further so I always say to my
students when I read your introduction I have to find the answer of course the answer is going to be provided in terms of points0 one point 2 3 and point 4 but remember that the answer is at the level of the introduction itself because if I find like many times when I'm correcting my exam that's the introduction is I'm sorry for it it's like BL blah blah blah blah blah and they kind of Advance the question again to me and I say okay this is what this was my question so what did you say in
the introduction you literally said nothing and this is going of course to negate the idea that we want something precise and concise so I would say the introduction should always be kind of a summary to the whole to the whole thing so you find everything in the introduction means what that's for example some potential advantages I need to see the Mother Love introduction disadvantages and some ethical concerns let's see and how how it how it did this so I'm going to expand this and I'm going okay now let's see this so I started my introduction
saying what systematic and structured research is built on multiple decisions that are made all along the process one of which is the right data collection tool now so this is just to reflect the idea of the choice I set it here now as a requirement to fulfill the Master's Degree now because now as you said reflect on your own research my research is set to investigate the effect of using okay and let's say not effect of using AI let's say for example investigate uh okay the use of AI to improve writing style in the letter

introduction Trust Me Your Mark is there like you will sure that you are going to take a good Mark so that's concerning the introduction now concerning the development and here and I need my students I need my students to be very careful concerning the development now look there is something that is so important when it comes to the development as I said the introduction reflects the answer plus the introduction of course is kind of itself is a kind of uh how can I say an outline to what you are going to write as I said
so look for example this is so this is systematic struct decision so I have talked about the choice why I made that choice now if I have to say I need you to think about all this in paragraph one because that is going to be the choice so I'm going to develop this in paragraph one now of course as a letter requirement Gathering tool to test all the variable quantitative data High degree Precision so all these are the positive aspect the positive aspects I mentioned them here control environment to test all the variables etc etc

them here as you can see so we have all the paragraphs are clearly indicated from the introduction that's why I said a very good a very good introduction is itself kind of an outline of what you are going to write uh I remember once my teacher told me that if I read your introduction I have to I need to have like a very it's not I need to have you should provide like a clear path of what you are going to develop if you deviate from the what you said into introduction you will have a

write now let's talk about another uh question that most students they ask me that I want to write five paragraph style and I would because I I find it really weird when they tell me that I want to write a five paragraph style and I say literally there is nothing called five paragraph style yes sometimes you find it in book but look the number of paragraphs correspond correspond responds directly with the number of IDs you have in your introduction or in the question let's say for example there was another Point added for potential advantages disadvantages

the choice I can expand it into two paragraphs advantages can be expanded also in the two paragraphs add Maybe for One examples and of course the same thing concerning this Advantage actually even one word I can expand it into another paragraph now so I read the introduction now let's go to the to the choice what did I what did I say in the choice now look here okay let me Zoom that so the choice of a data tool in a research should be based on a solid rationale and align and aligned with the goals of
