going outward to find what is inward you're only going to be met with more obstacles in life now I'm going to read you a verse now whatever you think of the Bible just just remove your ideas for a second just hear this verse out it says when you pray you must not be like the Hypocrites for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners that they may be seen by men truly I say to you they have received their reward but when you pray go into your room and shut
the door and pray to your father who is in secret and your father who sees in secret will reward you now the first part of this verse is very obvious is that you're not praying to be seen by men many people do this just don't do it don't be that way don't try to be seen as somebody who's who prays to God and who you see this all the time people who want to be seen as they love God more and they are not embarrassed to pray openly and loudly but really they've received their reward
their reward was to be seen and they got seen But when you pray says go into your room now your room is your imagination now here's the important part and shut the door and pray to your father who is in secret now your father just represents the cause of your life it's your it's it's your imagination but it says to shut the door this is very important to become aware aware of that you don't take within you everything that's on the outside you don't take the external meaning the as I said the reason of the
day the rumors that you heard the false narratives or the labels that you were told you take nothing that's outside of you you shut the door you completely close it you don't let anyone in you don't go on vacation and leave the door open do you no you lock your doors you shut your doors you don't let anything in same is true here you shut your door you don't ask why you don't ask how you don't ask yourself when you pray remember prayer is not petition it's not remorse as Neville said it's not feeling guilty
it's not feeling bad about yourself prayer is repentance a radical change in mind is can you I know you want to believe something good about yourself but do you do you believe it that's how you pray you pray by assumption appropriation The Taking of the state you should see States as containers and you have to be like the water that is in the container you must take shape of the state just as water takes shape of its container you as the being that enters States regardless of what the state is regardless of the shape of
the container you take it you be like water and you take that shape might not be a shape you're used to on container you used to but you regardless enter it and you be it that's how you pray and what is done in secret you'll be rewarded so this it says the father who sees in secret meaning everything that we're doing within us is open to God nothing is hidden for people think all the time that they're getting away with something because no one's seeing it with the physical eyes but that's not what it's saying
that is seen what is seen is what we do within ourselves that's who we're being anyone can fake who they are on the outside but who are you on the inside that is what starts to be reflected in your life that is what you experience every day you take that with you every single day who are you being in your imagination that will be your reward and so your reward is yourself for you always experiencing yourself and as I said if you want to have a better experience in life you must have a better experience
with yourself because they're intrinsically tied and so you must think of yourself higher to have a higher life that's just how this works and you'll be rewarded for what you do in secret you don't have to tell anybody what you're doing I'd actually advise you not to don't tell anyone what you're doing what does it matter you do it in secret the only one that matters is that your father sees it and you would say well who's seeing it you'd say I am well that's the father your own I amness your awareness of being is
the cause of your life what are you aware of being now you can go into your room and shut the door and change but really learn to shut the door it's very important that you shut that door and don't let anything in for the for thieves can come and then they rob you of your own wish fulfilled it robs you from feeling yourself to be what you want the past comes like a thief and takes from you the the idea of yourself that you want it to be some new rumor comes now there's a war
now there's a battle now you're now you're you're completely so far away so far removed from what you want it to be and another way of saying to shut the door is to leave the world alone leave it all alone and change the conception of yourself change who who you are in secret nobody needs to know what you're doing the only one that needs to know is yourself that's it remember it's self persu self-con can you persuade yourself that you are who you would like to be now for some people different forms of persuasion work
for me it's just a silencing of everything and I just accept entirely I trust I live entirely upon trust I trust in my own state that I want to be I trust myself into it that's what I do I don't know how I don't know when those don't matter to me what matters is that I trust and I don't need to know when or how to trust for those are merely conditions that we place upon ourselves to trust something it is by our imagination and our faith our faith in what our faith in our own
I amness that I have changed myself into something I want to be that is how I create in my life through my imagination and my trust in it my faith in it whatever whatever word you want to use and I do it all inside of me in secret nobody has to know but really learn to shut the door you're going to hear things at times that were going to shake you out of your position as Neville said if every rumor or every little thing you hear moves you like a pawn you're not holding to the
faith you're not remaining loyal to it and really that's what Abdullah was trying to teach Neville now they were friends for many years so he wasn't doing it to be rude to him but he shut the door on him when Neville started asking him all these questions about it he shut the door on him now that's just a symbolic act in my view to teach him to shut the door on yourself you don't have to be rude and at times I've seen people use that story in a rude way you don't have to be rude
you just have to shut the door to the external world stop letting it dictate who you are on the inside you walk by faith not by sight you walk in your trust in your imagination and you've shut the door to the outside you don't worry about what's said you don't care what was said you remain loyal to what you're done CU that's how things are created in life things are created by faith and so when you go to decide as in Neville did in this case to go to rebos when you go to decide something
and you go you start to say to yourself well nothing's happening you've left you've gone external you start to sin again go back within to where you're not sinning to where it's done and have faith in that so the main message here really is be like water find what state you want to be in and don't allow yourself to condition yourself to enter it just be that state try your best to occupy that idea as if if you've always been that state forget entirely what you are forget it just just try to forget it when
you imagine and allow yourself to just be that state as if you've always been it imagine yourself being that as if you've always been it and shut the door to the outside now don't let that decide don't allow thieves to come in and Rob you from the state you just occupied don't allow something to push you out of there and you will remain loyal to it if you do that you will remain loyal to it you will be successful you will succeed you will because things are created by faith regardless of whether we like that
or not that's how things are created here so remain faithful to your idea and you will you will be successful you will you will become what you remain loyal to that is a absolute fact in the mind and you become things through assumption simply in appropriation is another way of saying it meaning you don't argue with yourself whether or not you can have it you don't figure that out you don't spend time wondering or you don't try to become perfect like a perfect moral person before although you should be moral but you don't this idea
that you have to have everything figured out before you assume a state is stupid you don't have to there's no requirement there's no external requirement for an appropriation of a state of consciousness how could there be there can't be there's you you would everything would be made up you would just make up a new action you need to do you would make up a new moral you would make up a new idea that you have to follow and then you would give up this food and that food thinking that that's going to that's going to
be the thing that allows you to enter that state you just need to be exactly where you are all you need is your imagination and your faith in it that's all you need and those two things are internal they're not external to you you can't lose them they're forever within you and that's all you need to change your life and so I'm going to end that one here I I do hope that that that that verse is very important to me I've always loved that verse I always have because I would see people read this
