[Music] In part one of "Becoming Israel," we discussed what it meant to actually be Israel. That was important because it is essential to ensure that pride does not enter in as you understand the importance of being Israel. It is crucial to really understand what it means to be set apart, and I will revisit that later because it's crucial.
Being Israel means being a chosen, set-apart people obedient to Yahweh, keeping His laws, statutes, and commandments as He has always desired His children to do. Unfortunately, what happens is that people don't actually want this type of relationship with Yah; they want the gift of salvation but believe that they can receive it without having to do anything He says. This is because they don't actually know Him, and many people take Him for granted because they have been presented with a false understanding of Him.
You see, among many issues in Christianity, a huge part of the problem is that people came to know the Messiah first without ever understanding and knowing our Father. So, they learned about our Messiah and saw His act of love by laying down Himself as a sacrificial lamb in order that we could be redeemed. It is this act that most people came into knowing first when they understood the Scriptures.
It’s not that it's a problem of knowing this; it's just not a complete picture of Yahweh. You can't understand our Messiah fully without understanding our Father, and this is what most people are missing. Unfortunately, there are many people who have said that they like the God of the New Testament more than they like the God of the Old Testament.
Statements like this show the overwhelming falsehoods that plague this world because of religion. Most people don't truly know our Father, and this is the main issue that needs to be corrected in being Israel. It is important to understand who you are in covenant with; this is the missing link in religion.
People want the end goal of salvation while thinking they can ignore the One who is providing this gift. This is what the world does, but it cannot be what those of Israel do today. There is a total rejection of our Father, and it is important that you understand that for Israel, this is not and cannot be accepted or tolerated.
So, what we need to do is first go back to the basics and understand who you are in covenant with. We are going to understand Yahweh. Let's begin.
Okay, so I’ve covered this in my Understanding Torah series, but in order that you understand what it means to be Israel, I must revisit it. In order to be Israel, you must understand that we are servants of our Father Yahweh, and we all must be in a relationship of service and obedience to Him. You must come to have a deep love and reverence for Him that brings you into a more connected relationship with Him.
Through this, you become more aligned to His will. In order for this relationship to grow, you must first come to know Him more deeply and intimately. You need to understand Him and how we are called to regard Him.
So, in understanding how to be Israel, I want to introduce you to Yahweh. I want to explain to you how He has commanded His children to know Him and regard Him. Everything you need in this world comes from knowing Yahweh, so I want to make sure that He has been presented to you properly and that those who say they love Him know how to do so in truth, according to what He desires and what He has declared.
Okay, so first things first: Yahweh is the God of Israel. Yahweh is His name; it is not the Lord. People call Him the Lord because they practice the ineffable name doctrine, which we as Israel reject and do not follow.
I made a video about this topic, so if you never understood it, you can grasp it in that video. Still, I will cover some things mentioned in it. But yes, His name is Yahweh.
It is written by the writers of the Old Testament almost 6,000 times before the translators replaced it. We honor His third commandment by saying His name and proclaiming it. Now, you may say Yahweh or have heard it like that.
Please know the difference between Paleo Hebrew and modern Hebrew. "Yahweh" is using modern Hebrew, and for me personally, I do not agree with or accept modern Hebrew at all. So, this is the difference that you hear.
My point is that the God of Israel has a name, and it is Yahweh. Use His name. In understanding our Father, we must talk about His name.
You must first understand that there is a big difference between what people who follow Christianity and modern-day Judaism believe and what we, who are in the truth, believe. These modern-day religions have either taught people that our Father does not have a name or that His name is too holy to be spoken. Some of them use the title "The Lord," while the modern-day Jews use "Hashem.
" Either way, everyone avoids His name, and there is a reason. His name is like Kryptonite for these demons. If Christians were truly using His name, it would not have allowed the demons to engage in the world the way they have been doing for centuries.
They don't use His name because they don't come in His power. Yahweh's name is important, and you will see that His name was in the culture of Israel from the beginning. His name was mixed in and intertwined in the culture.
Israel loved His name, and they proclaimed His name. "Yah" is incorporated in many of the Hebrew names, such as Jeremiah or Yahu. Isaiah, or Yeshayahu; Zachariah, or Zachariou; Matthew, or Mattiyahu—Yah is incorporated in their names for respect, admiration, and honor.
Their names have meaning, so a name like Zachariah, or Zachariou, actually means "Yahweh remembers. " You see, He is incorporated in their lives. His name was written by the Hebrews like this.
This is the Hebrew spelling of His wonderful name—it's called the Tetragrammaton, and this is the four-letter sequence of consonants. In English, our words are read left to right, but Hebrew is read right to left. The ancient Paleo-Hebrew has His name written out in four letters.
Now, I'm not going to go in depth here, but let me make this as simple to understand as possible. The first two letters, Yud and He, together make the sound "Yah. " The third letter, the Vav, makes the "U" sound, and the fourth letter is the same as the second letter, He, which means a sound.
This makes the word "Yah. " This is the name written and given to Israel. He wants His name known; He wants His name to be sung and praised, to be exalted.
Think about these scriptures: "I will declare Your name to my brethren; in the midst of the assembly, I will praise You" (Psalm 22:22). I mean, think—how can we declare His name when we say we will not mention it, or we say we will just use a title? When we say "the Lord," we're not declaring His name.
Or another scripture: "For our heart shall rejoice in Him because we have trusted in His holy name" (Psalms 33:21). How can you trust His name when you do not even know it? "All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You; they shall sing praises to Your name" (Psalm 66:4).
How can we sing praises to His name if we don't know it? I can keep going on and on because this is something that He speaks of many times in many ways. His name was, and is, very important to Israel, so it must be important to you.
Israel spoke praises of His name: "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him and bless His name" (Psalm 100:4). Anytime anyone speaks against His name, ask them if they have a problem with you saying "Hallelu. " Look at the end of this word; look at what this word means.
This word is a combination of the word "Hala," which is a common Hebrew word for praise, and also His divine name, "Yah. " This is why this word is so powerful. This word says, "Praise Yah; praise Yahweh.
" So how is it that people say this often in their praise to the Most High, but then feel that they can reject His name? They do it in ignorance. Here's the thing: as Israel, we don't play around with His name.
I call on His name all day long; I speak to Him, I praise Him, I say His name all day. I mean, why would I say "God" or "Lord" when I know His name? You may come around others who want to deter you from saying His name.
You must be mindful of this because you don't know what these people are on. I mean, some people are deceived, but many are not. Many times what you do not know is that they want you to stop calling on His name because it's reducing the power they have over you.
There is a movement that will deter you from saying His name because it reduces their spiritual power. Everything is spiritual, and sometimes the people around you play with demons; they entertain them. Some people are actually against you, just like demons hate the true name of our Messiah, Yahusha—they hate our Father's name too.
So we walk all day long with His name on our tongues; it drives the demons crazy. As being Israel, don't let anyone ever deter you from saying His name. But with this, it's also important to understand you must have reverence and respect for it.
Never blaspheme it or use it in a false way, the way the people use the name "Jesus. " They use it like a cuss word. Don't ever do that with our Father's name, ever.
For me, I personally do not tolerate anyone playing with His name at all. I have no tolerance for it. So, yeah, listen—we're scattered all around the earth.
Yes, we have different languages, but our Father's name never changes. Our Messiah's name never changes. Know His name and proclaim it; this is how we know who you serve and this is how the devil knows you are not playing any games.
Now here's the thing: the other nations, the Gentiles who hijack this faith and put forth Christianity—many of them, like I said earlier, have a problem with His name. They have made labels of this doctrine, calling it "sacred name doctrine" and stuff like that, which is completely ridiculous. I mean, yeah, His name is sacred; are you actually going to stand before Him and tell Him His name isn't sacred?
That doctrine makes no sense. Anyway, being Israel means that we don't tolerate that foolishness. When we were trying to play their games within their Christian religion, we allowed them to talk and give their opinions.
No longer is that tolerated. Being Israel means we no longer tolerate that foolishness because no one is going to tell us how we should refer to our Father. We follow His commands, and this command was written in stone, and it should now be written on our hearts.
We will follow what our ancestors, who were faithful to Him, did. Understand, before the translators practiced the ineffable name doctrine in the scriptures, our Father's name was written almost 6,000 times in the. .
. Tetragamitin occurs 5,410 times in the Bible, being divided among the books as follows: Genesis 153 times, Exodus 364 times, Leviticus 285 times, Numbers 387 times, Deuteronomy 230 times, total in the Torah 1,419 times, Joshua 170, Judges 158, Samuel 423, Kings 467, Isaiah 367, Jeremiah 555, Ezekiel 211, Minor Prophets 345, total in Prophets 2,696, in the Psalms 645, Proverbs 87, Job 31, Ruth 16, Lamentations 32, Daniel 7, Ezra-Nehemiah 31, Chronicles 446, total in Haggadah 1,295. The Jewish Encyclopedia adds that adding these 264 occurrences and the 315 just noted to the 5,410 instances of the simple tetragamitin, the word Yahweh is found to occur 5,989 times in the Bible.
You see, our ancestors used His name often when writing about Him. For me, as a man of Israel, there's absolutely no way anyone is going to get Yahweh's name off my tongue. Those in Christianity may want to tell you that there's nothing wrong with saying "the Lord.
" That's on them. People literally say His name is "the Lord. " It's ridiculous; that's not His name—it's a title.
The title of "the Lord" comes from Old English, and it is one who had a rank in the highest class. They had control over a portion of land granted from a king. This is a title that is used for many people and still is.
I mean, the upper house of Parliament of the United Kingdom is called the House of Lords. Or what about the witchcraft book turned movie turned TV series, The Lord of the Rings? Or a powerful man who just recently died is called Lord Jacob Rothschild?
When we say "the Lord," we are not calling on His name. To add even more clarity to this, the word "Lord" in Hebrew refers to Baal, the Canaanite pagan god that goes back to the prince of the air, the universal god of fertility, the prince or lord of the earth. Baal is synonymous with Satan and is a part of a number of other names of false gods worshiped by the pagan nations that were against ancient Israel—names like Beelzebub, "Lord of the Flies," Baal "Lord of Luck," etc.
You get the point. The Hebrew word "baal" means "lord. " Don't forget that the people who created the English language, the Anglo-Saxons, were pagans.
Much of that language is influenced by paganism. English was not a language created at Babel. Anyways, our Creator has a name.
In Exodus 9:16, He said to Moses, "But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show my power in you, and that my name may be declared in all the earth. " How would we declare His name in all the earth if no one knows it? They're going to know it now.
Let me show you this using the King James Bible. Isaiah 42:8 declares, "I am the Lord; that is my name, and my glory I will not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. " Again, like that’s from the King James, but when you read that verse, it does not make sense.
We just went over the fact that "the Lord" is a title; it's not a name. He does not share His glory with anyone, so if this is His name, isn't it a little blasphemous that everyone around the world uses this title? His name is not "the Lord.
" That is not His name. Every time you see "the Lord" written in your Bibles, His actual name was written in the Hebrew characters of the Tetragrammaton Yahweh that I went over earlier. Every time you see "the Lord," they were actually writing His name.
That verse in Isaiah actually says, "I am Yahweh; that is my name, and my glory I will not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. " Isaiah 42:8—that is His name. Now that verse makes sense.
This is very important to understand. So, going back to the third commandment, it actually says: "You shall not take the name of Yahweh your Elohim in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain. " Exodus 20:7.
So, what does "in vain" mean? It means in a reverent or blasphemous manner, to bring to nothingness. What could be more blasphemous and irrelevant than forgetting His name or bringing His name to nothing, to make it useless or nothing?
And so, you must understand that in order to enslave us and keep us under their spiritual authority, they cannot let us know His name or use it. So, while they enslaved us, they made Bibles that took out His name, and they spread a faith that never used His name. Today, everyone says "the Lord" this, "the Lord" that, and we just accept it because it's what we have grown accustomed to.
But if you are Israel, this is not what we do. That is what Christians do. They created a doctrine that says no one should utter His name, but in being Israel, we that love Yahweh and honor His third commandment must boldly and absolutely reject that doctrine.
We proclaim His true name; we must call on Him, and He will answer. We will honor Him by praising His name. This is the culture of Israel.
Oh, magnify Yah with me, and let us exalt His name together! Psalm 34:3. I will praise Yahweh according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High.
Psalm 7:17. Oh Yahweh, our Yahweh, how excellent is Your name in all the earth! Psalms 88:9.
I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek You. Psalm 9:2 and 10.
For You are my rock and my fortress; therefore. . .
Your name's sake, lead me and guide me. Psalm 31:3: For our heart shall rejoice in Him because we have trusted in His holy name. Psalm 33:21: It is good to give thanks to Yahweh and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.
Psalms 92:1: You see, there can be no tolerance and acceptance of this fake religion that calls Him only by titles. If that is the doctrine that the Christian Church keeps, let them keep it; that's not our culture. The writers of the Scriptures wrote His name almost 6,000 times, as I just showed.
Moses, who wrote the first five books, the Torah, used His name over 1,400 times. Why would I not follow these men, like Moses, and follow their example instead of following the example of those who enslave my people and tried to hijack the authority of our faith? This is our faith; we are Israel, and as we live in this world, the world is going to know who we serve.
Today, it's ambiguous when people say "God" because we don't know if you're talking about the Most High or Satan. First, I must thank God; I must thank God; I must thank the Lord. Y'all already know I don't listen to people when they just say "God.
" I don't know who it is they believe in, and the word is too general of a title for me, because these devil worshippers believe Satan is God. So how do I know that that's not who you're referring to? In being Israel, you need to be clear on who it is you serve and do as He desires.
Proclaim His name; sing praises to His name. I literally can't listen to gospel music today because they don't use His name. You are Israel, and you must use His name.
This is a commandment: make His name known and let the world know who it is you serve. His name is truly important, and that is the first part you must know when knowing Him, because He is who we worship. So, what we're going to do is stop here, and in the next part, I'm going to introduce you to more about Him.
In the meantime, make sure you are reading your Scriptures daily; start from the beginning and read them straight through, at least a chapter a day. Remember, being Israel means being a chosen set-apart people, obedient to Yahweh, keeping His laws, statutes, and commandments as He has always desired His children to do. If you are Israel, you are one who does the will of our Father.
Walk in obedience and serve Him with your whole heart, and be blessed. Hallelujah! Praise Yah!
