before we pray I'd like to say a few words and then we'll pray together in your daily life you take various measures to protect yourself from potential dangers you lock your doors at night secure your windows and perhaps even install sophisticated security systems to guard your home some people carry pepper spray or take self-defense classes to prepare for unforeseen threats these are all sensible precautions because you live in a world where uncertainty and risk are part of daily existence however despite all the measures you take there are moments when your efforts fall short a single
lapse in judgment a moment of distraction can leave you vulnerable to harm this reality can be unsettling as it shows that no matter how hard you try you can never be entirely safe by your own efforts alone but here's the good news when you place your trust in God you receive a different kind of protection one that goes beyond what you can achieve on your own God promises that no weapon whether it's physical harm hurtful words or malicious actions will succeed in its purpose against you this Divine protection isn't something you can earn through your
own strength or efforts it is a gift from God rooted in his boundless power and his deep unending love for you this promise from God reminds you that your safety and sec security are not in your hands but in his it teaches you to rely not on your own abilities but on the grace and power of the almighty however it's important to understand that this promise doesn't mean you will never face difficulties or challenges in life the reality is as long as you are in this world you will encounter trials adversities and even enemies life
can be tough and the road can be filled with obstacles but here's the the beautiful part when you trust in the Lord you are not facing these challenges alone you are surrounded by his Divine protection which allows you to confront life's difficulties with a sense of peace and confidence that transcends your circumstances even when the world around you is chaotic and unpredictable you can find solace in the fact that God is in control he is your ultimate protector and nothing no Force no enemy can stand against his mighty power Proverbs 18:10 tells you the name
of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run to it and are safe this verse paints a vivid picture of the security you find in God just as a strong tower provides refuge and safety to those who seek shelter within its walls so does the name of the Lord offer you protection in times of trouble when you turn to God you are running to a place of safety where you are shielded from the storms of life the story of Daniel in the Lion's Den is a powerful example of this Divine protection Daniel despite knowing
the consequences continued to pray to God three times a day even when the king's decree forbade it his unwavering Faith led him into a Den of Lions but God's protection was with him the Lion's mouths were shut and Daniel emerged unharmed this miraculous event is not just a story from the past it serves as a reminder that God's protection is real and it is available to you today you too can trust in his Divine care knowing that he is always watching over you let us pray together heavenly father I know that it is you who
watches over me it is you who keeps me safe your word in Psalm 68: 5 and 6 says a father to the fatherless a defender of widows is God in his holy dwelling God sets the the lonely in families he leads out the prisoners with singing But the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land lord in the midst of all that is happening around me I find my strength in you I take comfort in your loving care and I place my confidence in your Mighty power I know that no matter what comes my way I am
safe in your hands your word also tells me in Hebrews 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus the Pioneer and perfector of faith for the joy set before him he endured the cross scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God Lord when I face the challenges of life help me to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus let me not be distracted by the difficulties around me but instead let me focus on the one who has already overcome the world holy spirit teach me to continuously examine my heart and mind
to ensure that my focus remains on Christ who is my hope and my salvation Lord Jesus I thank you for your goodness and mercy I look to you because you took my sins upon yourself when you hung on the cross you redeemed me you saved me and for that I am eternally grateful if it were not for your sacrifice I would be lost if you had not shed your Precious Blood who could have saved me there is no one like you King Jesus that's why my eyes will remain fixed on you you extended your loving
arms to me and called me to repentance because of your great love I rejoice and I say all praise and honor be to the most high for I am saved Sanctified and Redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God it is in you Jesus that I place My Hope you are the one who never disappoints my heavenly father I praise you because you alone are worthy of all praise your word in Isaiah 40:29 says he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak father when I feel weak
when I feel as though I cannot go on increase my strength let me not grow weary in doing good but give me the strength to face each day with confidence this confidence comes from knowing that you Lord Jesus are greater than anything I will ever face in this world you are my strength my refuge and my everpresent help in times of trouble when I feel as though I am lacking or when I am tempted to believe that I don't have enough may I be reminded of your word in Psalm 34:10 the Lions May grow weak
and hungry but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing Lord I lack nothing because you are my good shepherd Your Rod and your staff guide me protect me and keep me close to you your word tells me that God is Not Human that he should lie not a human being that he should change his mind does he speak and then not act does he promise and not fulfill it is you Lord Jesus who leads me through the valley of the shadow of death you lead me through it and even in the darkest moments
you offer me peace even when I am weak tired and Afraid you make it known that you are there you are a friend who sticks closer than a brother you are my Defender my strong tower and I am safe in your presence I bless your name Lord and I thank you for your loving kindness protect me today in every way cover me Lord Jesus with your Mighty hand I thank you for hearing my prayers and for being a loving God who looks upon me with with favor Blessed Be Your Holy Name Lord in Jesus name
