what if I told you that instead of the usual advice like watching movies and TV shows reading books and practicing speaking and writing there are seven unique strategies that can Skyrocket your English proficiency these are techniques that almost no one talks about and that you're probably not doing it I know you're tired of hearing the same old tips like watch this movie read that book speak like this that's why I'm excited to share with you seven power for methods that often go unnoticed that can make a huge difference most people Overlook them which is why
it can take years to see significant progress but if you start using these techniques you might learn English much faster you have to understand that there's so many things involved in learn English than just watching movies and practicing speaking it requires a lot of focus good memory mental Clarity a good attention span good concentration and so many other things and if you're not optimizing to be better at these things you will only go so far and make your life harder than it has to be so if you try to be better at these things you
will not only improve your English but you also will improve your life so first you might not believe it but what you eat and how often you move can dramatically enhance your English learning abilities most people don't realize how much their physical health influences their ability to learn a new language eating well and exercising are not just good for your body when you eat healthy and stay active you're giving your brain the energy that it needs to function at its best you will notice that you improve concentration memory and mental Clarity which are all crucial
for learning English next time you tempted to skip a workout or reach for junk food remember that staying healthy can actually help you become fluent faster because think about this do you actually want to wake up every day feeling horrible not motivated or tired do you not want to speak English so well that when you open your mouth to speaking English people are impressed by your English because of how hard you worked to achieve that level because if you want that make sure that you are healthy makeing sure that you eating right day you're exercising
every day you might think that this has nothing to do with English but I'm telling you this is probably one of the most important things believe it or not getting enough sleep is another underrated strategy for boosting your proficiency when you are sleep deprived your brain struggles to process and retaining information I have found that when I priorize sleep my ability to think in English and recall vocabulary improves drastically aim for 6 to 8 hours of quality sleep every night and try to establish a relaxing bed routine avoid screens before bed and consider reading a
book in English or journal to wind down you will wake up feeling refreshed and ready to accomplish your English learning goals again these are things that are not very often talked about for improving your English but is really important and can make a huge difference not only for your English but also for your whole life now this might surprise you a little bit but taking regular walks in nature can significantly boost your language learning capabilities spending time in nature can do wonders for your mental health and surprisingly for your English walking in nature reduces stress
improves mood and enhances cognitive function when you are relaxed and in a good mood you're more open to learning and retaining new information try incorporating regular nature walks into your routine you're going to find that you're going to be able to focus better and clearly in English after spending time in nature I used to do that a lot I would take a book a pen a paper walk in nature and then sit on a bench read and journal for a few hours and it was amazing if you are only studying English in your house you
have no idea how many opportunities you're not taking advantage of it now here's a tip that my surprise you sometimes not socializing can be incredibly beneficial for your English studies taking a break from social interactions can give you the mental space you need to focus on your studies so for many people social interactions can be draining especially if you are always switching between languages spending time alone allows you to immerse yourself in English without any distractions so use this time to read to listen to podcast to practice speaking on your own you'll be amazing how
much of progress you can make when you dedicate yourself and you don't get distracted very easily and especially if you live in a country that doesn't speak English and you are one out of thousands of people learning English and most of the time if you anything like me you don't even relate to those people that much so make sure you're using your time wisely your phone can be a major distraction and can pull you away from your language learning goals try to reduce your screen time and spend times looking at this instead you can engage
with English in more meaningful ways read a book or listen to an Audi book or write in your journal or something when you're not always checking your phone you have more time and mental energy to devote to learning and also limiting your phone news can help you improve focus and concentration so always make sure not to have your screen time above 2 hours a day scrolling and wasting your time when you can do something much more productive that is going to get you closer to your goal now this one can be a little bit silly
and I used to do it a lot and I still have all over my room surrounding yourself with visual reminders can be a surprisingly powerful too for learning English like for example put up pictures related to English whether it's vocabulary lists inspirational quotes or something like this or images of places that you want to visit this is really powerful because it can keep you in engaged and inspired these images or inspirational quotes can remind yourself why you're learning English and encourage you to practice every day they can also force yourself to remember new words and
Concepts so make them easier to remember now this might be a little bit weird because we see this as something negative but a healthy amount of fear can actually accelerate your English learning for example fear of failure or fear of not achieving your goals can be a powerful motivator use that fear to push yourself out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges speak with the native speakers or no native speakers even if it is intimidating try writing essays or even giving presentations in English this will get rid of your fear really quickly because
if you can give presentations in English even if you make mistakes and you don't speak really well speaking with someone is going to be nothing for you embrace the fear and use as energy to keep improving the more you challenge yourself the faster you will progress so I really hope you found this valuable these are kind of unusual things that can make you fluent that I thought about it that I use it myself in the past so I really appreciate you and thank you so much I see you soon
