think about this for a second every baby starts off with just two cells an egg cell from Mama and sperm cell from Daddy when you realize this doesn't it make sense that we want to give our babies the very best starting material that we can give them a top-notch quality egg and a top-notch quality sperm cell so in this video I'm going to give you super practical tips to raise your egg quality naturally in only three Cycles so that you can release that golden egg well okay maybe not a golden egg but gold standard we
can do if this is the first time you're seeing one of my videos Hello lovely I am ingofler spray and I'm a natural fertility specialist helping couples worldwide to fall pregnant naturally with the videos on this channel and my program the fertility reclaim before I start working on this egg and sperm quality series I asked you what questions you have on this topic and I can basically summarize all of your questions into CS question which is how to improve egg quality for women over 35 but before we continue into that I want to change that
question to how to improve egg quality for Women full stop I want to take out the 35 bit now if you're not interested into this fertility age trap of 35 and over then you can go ahead to the description and click on the timestamp taking you to the Practical tools right away but I do think this is a super important part for us to address here and I completely understand your questions see I think it really reflects the culture that we live in but I think it's a little bit bizarre that we don't start to
talk about egg quality until we hit 35 this a magic number after which apparently our eggs start to deteriorate rapidly and we basically fall off this fertility Cliff when the reality is in every pregnancy good quality eggs are important and whether you are young you fall pregnant or you are older you fall pregnant your baby still starts off with this one egg and that one egg needs to be of good quality no matter what age you are and every one of my patients that had repeat miscarriages until we addressed egg quality will definitely testify to
that and don't get me wrong I'm not saying H isn't a factor of course it is but it seems like we take for granted that when we're younger we will have lots of normal quality eggs uh we love Lots don't we that's lots and because we are born with all of our eggs we need to keep those eggs in good condition until the moment that we do fall pregnant so the longer we wait the more there is a chance that these eggs will go off and that sounds really weird so what basically happens is that
the DNA can get damaged and when the DNA is really damaged it will be of poor quality so you might have an egg that has a 22 or 24 chromosomes instead of 23 and every cycle we are maturing eggs and releasing one egg and the others they just shrivel away which means that every cycle we have less and less and less eggs and then on top of it as we age we have a bigger percentage of abnormal eggs so yes when we are older we have a smaller amount of normal quality eggs but we are
still only falling pregnant with this one egg so this idea of that we age and then ah we suddenly have bad eggs it's it's what I call the fertility H trap you need one egg one good eighth and of course a good quality sperm cell and that they like each other and that they want to merge so it really doesn't matter if you're young or you're old old Burr you want that egg to be in the best shape possible and it's also good to remember that although indeed we are born with all of our eggs
those eggs aren't all mature at Birth each cycle we've got new eggs that are maturing and that takes about a three month period which is exactly why I called this video how to improve egg quality in three Cycles because that's about the length that it takes for an egg to mature before it's being released so that means we have influence over two important aspects when it comes to egg quality and the first is I kind of touched on it we want to preserve the eggs that we have so reduce the chance of their DNA being
damaged and secondly we have influence over the maturation process so the time that the egg is maturing before it's being released so those three Cycles those three months we want to make sure that the circumstances are so ideal that that egg has the best nutrition and circumstances to develop so by focusing on both you're not only improving your chance of falling pregnant quickly with a healthy baby but you're also preserving your opportunity to grow your family down the line so if you want to have a sibling or another sibling or another or another your chances
will be better if you're focusing on equality early on and I kind of mentioned this part as well but newsflash not just egg quality is important sperm quality is important and that is why this video is basically half of a long video the other half you'll be able to watch as well I'll link it at the end of this video and that is how to improve sperm quality in 90 days and isn't it kind of funny how 90 days three Cycles they kind of correspond and just remember whether your partner had porn sperm test results
or you are older than your partner or you are nearing 40 or even past 40 it doesn't really matter which one of you has the biggest fertility problem or suspected facility problem it's about your Collective fertility because you can't have a baby by yourself with just your sperm cell or your egg cell anyway it's about your Collective fertility so anything you can do to improve your selective facility focusing on both female and male fertility will contribute to the chances of you falling pregnant with a healthy baby there are four things that we want to focus
on to make sure that the egg that you release in three Cycles is in the best shape possible but that is not to say that the egg next cycle isn't already going to be in a better shape than the one you just released or about to release because every egg released in the next three months will have had some time that is exposed to the better circumstances you're going to give the egg maturation if that makes sense but the one that's going to have had the full benefit from start of maturation until ovulation will be
the one that you release in three months time step one is to reduce toxicity in your body our cells are sensitive to toxicity and an egg cell is the biggest human cell that we have so we want to protect it from any damage that can be done to the cell membrane to the fungi functioning of the cell on the inside and to the DNA so if you're still smoking you really need to stop with that because that is incredibly damaging smoking isn't just damaging for egg cell quality but it also impacts implantation for example it
also increases the chance of having an ectopic pregnancy because smoking affects the the way that the Fallopian tubes function that they can get the egg down but also it reduces blood flow to the uterus so all round smoking is extremely damaging so if you hadn't heard of this yet or you just need that little extra cake to quit Now's the Time then one of the most important factors that I focus on toxicity wise is heavy metals because heavy metals toxicity effects our entire system it can damage the DNA of our cells including our egg and
sperm cells but it can also damage the the functioning of the cell but it also affects our immune system and our hormonal system if you're able to lower metal toxicity by lowering the exposure but also by removing heavy metals from your body you'll be able to improve your body's immune system and lower inflammation which improves the chance of you developing a good quality egg but also of being able to hold on to a pregnancy it improves hormone balance because your hormonal glands are able to function better when they are not dragged on by the heavy
metals that are stuffed inside of them and that means you'll be able to mature an egg properly and release it at the right time as well plus it will give you the opportunity to preserve your eggs as much as possible so that their DNA isn't damaged in the long run before I tell you how I lower heavy metal toxicity in my patients let's talk about step two which is improving hormone function and that kind of goes hand in hand with heavy metal toxicity because as I just mentioned if you suffer from heavy metal toxicity that
compromises the function of your hormone glands and we need our hormone glands to be functioning properly so that we can ovulate timely if you ovulate too early for example because of estrogen dominance then the egg that you're about to release didn't have enough time to mature properly within that first half of your cycle so the egg that is released is immature and then if it does merge with sperm at all the chances of it developing into a healthy baby is very slim I've got lots of videos on this channel about improving hormone function but I
would say a big one is removing Plastics from your kitchen so that there isn't as much plastic leaking into your food because that really feeds into estrogen dominance but another one is also removing the imprint of past use of synthetic hormones if we've used contraceptives in the past or labor drugs or steroids even or fertility drugs it impacts our hormonal system and it's kind of left with a limp thankfully through Homeopathy we can remove that imprint so that our body's hormonal system is able to function again in a natural way and you're able to regain
balance and both detoxing heavy metals and removing that synthetic hormone imprint is something that I teach on my program the fertility reclaim on this program I provide you with modules with videos and easy to follow instructions so you can figure out which detoxes you need exactly and in what order you will need to do them and then how to recognize if your fertility is benefiting from these detoxes there's also a private support group where you can ask me questions about detoxing and interpreting your charts I love a DIY program because it allows you to go
at your own pace but it's kind of nice if you can still fall back on somebody if you have questions or if you get stuck right and now let's get into step number three because as I mentioned the egg cell is the biggest human cell that we've got so it is exceptionally important to make sure that the nutrition of this egg is perfect I really love the nourishing tradition way of eating if this is completely new to you make sure to put that into a search engine and find some information on it you might also
find it under Western price if you follow this way of eating very precisely and for at least three months and that will significantly improve egg quality and sperm quality however in the meantime you can also consider a couple of supplements that are known to really improve egg cell quality if I don't say anything about the dosage with a particular supplement then that is because I don't feel comfortable just suggesting anything when I haven't taken your case I tailor most of these supplements and their dosages to my patients so I recommend for you to do your
own research and just see this as some information that you can start looking into or to go and see a trained practitioner that knows what they're doing when they're prescribing this to you the first is Vitamin C because this is a very powerful antioxidant so it protects the DNA of your cells and that includes egg and sperm cells number two is folate you may know already that an adequate amount of folate is important to reduce neurological disorders things like spina bifida and other birth defects but it is also very important for the maturation of a
good quality egg and for the ovulation process it's important that if you supplement with this that you take folate rather than folic acid because folate is the bio available form folic acid is a synthetic form folate is something that you will also find in Foods folic acid is the human-made version again if you follow the nourishing tradition's way of eating you'll be recommended to eat liver about two or three servings a week and if you do that you will get the amount of folate that you need you probably won't need to supplement with it Additionally
you could always of course do a blood test to make sure that your levels are adequate before you start trying um but if you follow this way of eating you probably don't need to supplement at all and in general I would probably recommend to how folate test it anyway because you don't want to overdo it with any kind of supplementation because there seems to be a connection between lip ties and tongue ties as well with too much folate in Mom's body when a baby is developing vitamin E is also thought to improve egg quality I
don't really prescribe this all the time usually I will do it though if my patients endometrial lining is known to be too thin or if she has very light periods and then a very well known supplement for egg and sperm quality is CoQ10 and there are different forms that you can take in you have ubiquinone you have ubiquinol with oil you have ubiquinone with a special edition that your body can take it up very well and the research out there is kind of all over the place not very structured they're different ideas on whether it's
best to take ubiquinone with that addition that makes it bioavailable or ubiquinol in oil so depending on the form you're taking you're going to have to take a different amount as well so if you see online to take between two to four hundred milligrams a day when you're under 37 and above 37 to take much more make sure that you are understanding what that article is referring to is it talking about ubiquinone ubiquinone or ubiquin or something else it is good to know that oil-based ubiquinol is researched to be more bioavailable than just ubiquinone without
any other additions so if you have those two to choose between I'd get the ubiquinol and zinc you might know this one as the sperm quality improver but it is fantastic and very important for egg cell quality as well not to mention for the merging between egg and sperm and the initial embryo development it goes beyond the scope of this video to go into the actions of zinc completely but it is important for a host of processes when it comes to fertility your levels are considered healthy if it falls within the range of 10 Micro
mole per liter to 18 however keep in mind that this includes all age groups so ideally for egg quality make sure that your levels are between 15 and 18 micro mole per liter and then if you're supplementing make sure that every once in a while while you are retesting your levels to make sure you're not overdoing it because too much zinc is a thing and then of course omegas one of my favorite things to supplement with I ask almost all of my patients to have their levels tested because if your omegas are out of whack
If the ratio is between 3 6 and 9 your fatty acids are not good that makes you prone to inflammation but it also makes the cell membrane rigid which makes it very difficult for any nutrients to go in and any toxic elements to go out so you might be taking every beautiful supplement Under the Sun but there is no point because the nutrients don't actually get into the cell so make sure that your Omega levels are adequate and I highly recommend to get this tested then there are some other supplements that you will find online
as well but I definitely do not recommend these without the supervision of a practitioner and some of these supplements I also talk about more in depth in a PCOS related video so if you're interested in any of the things I'm going to mention right now go ahead and check out that video as well one is DHEA as we age this will go down anyway but if that happens too early and you are diagnosed with premature ovarian failure or with a diminished Reserve then sometimes DHEA is introduced now personally I think that this is not a
genetic issue there is another underlying issue that can be addressed homeopathically and that is why I I was going to say almost never recommend the hea but I never do not that I'm against it but I just never use it in my practice because I don't have to I address the underlying issues homeopathically so I always check with a patient if her mom went into menopause early or not and usually that's not the case when they come to me with this problem so in that case there's often a hormone block underneath this problem so the
use of synthetic hormones in the past especially if it is contraceptive in the form of an implant or injection those seem to have a bigger impact on hormone balance and the contraceptive pill for example so then we address that sometimes there's also uterine trauma which can have happened due to assault but also something that seems you know positive and healing like um surgery to the uterus for endometriosis or polyps sometimes because of a DNC following a miscarriage and in that case homeopathically we address the uterine trauma instead and then the DHEA and the amh as
well often improves after that L-Arginine is also wildly praised and I do think it is a fantastic supplement I just don't think it's appropriate for everyone the idea of this supplement is that it improves circulation to the pelvic area so that's fantastic of course for the uterine lining that it gets all of the nutrients and oxygen but it applies to the ovaries as well if you can improve the circulation of the ovaries and and the eggs that are maturing are also getting more nutrients and more oxygen but again I really don't recommend this to everyone
and myoinositol is another one as well and this is definitely one I cover in the PCOS video so if you're interested in that one go check it out step four kind of fits in with the L-Arginine but instead of taking the supplement you can do this differently and that is improving the circulation of the pelvic area and there are a couple of things that you can focus on an exercise that I absolutely love is the solos release if you search online you will find lots of different exercises to do this but the psoas is a
muscle that goes from your back and it goes all the way to the front and because a lot of us do tend to sit or when we're stressed we kind of go like that or if you're a very tall person and you have issues with that because you're surrounded by small people or because you feel uncomfortable being a lot taller they tend to kind of do this but as a result that shortens and shortens and shortens that psoas and it affects the circulation in your pelvic area if you can stretch out that Silas that improves
the alignment in your pelvic area but also the blood circulation and there's another really interesting thing about the psoas release is there is a emotional connection to it as well and I always see it this way if we kind of get hit by life we kind of kind of go into this fetal position we go back to protecting our abdomen our vital organs we do this so and also the weight of life right if you have it on your shoulders you kind of hunch forward but as a result again the psoas can shorten and if
you stretch it out what you will often find is that it can bring about tears or it can bring about anger which is a sign that emotionally you're releasing something as well that you've been holding in and then of course you have fertility massages they're professionals that do this but even if you just massage your belly daily and you do this very thoughtfully will improve the blood circulation there as well a belly wrap is something that I love as well because it allows us to hold on to the energy to the warmth there and it
is also a physical expression of nurturing your belly nurturing your womb nurturing your ovaries and the oils that I love to use with that are chamomile chamomile is a great one also if you have menstrual cramps castor oil is used a lot Lavender is fantastic and I especially love Rose even more so if Rose and lavender are combined with gold gold is a lot about grief so if you have had miscarriages but also just you know the grief of not conceiving then an oil with gold lavender for relaxation and Rose for helping you be more
