there's this new YouTube Trend inside the business space that a lot of these guys are picking up on so for example Iman gazi started a business Channel this is a channel that he has not shouted out on his main Channel over here with 5.47 million subscribers here you can see has 19,000 subscribers he started a couple months ago now I've started to notice more people doing this so maybe you've seen Charlie Morgan stuff he's got 200,000 subscribers well he also started a business channel has much less subscribers and less views but there's this new trend
it's kind of weird like even Alex her team kind of did this a while ago they're not really doing it anymore but they started a mosy media channel um and so and I just found this one Jordan Welch has 1.73 million subscribers maybe you've seen his videos and I just found this a month ago he started another you know Jordan Welch business YouTube channel so what is this trend why is it working and why do I think this could be maybe the future of YouTube and let's get down to this and what you're going to
learn in this video which essentially are three things I want to share with you why the biggest YouTube entrepreneurs are starting sub Niche channels or Micro Niche channels is what you might call them also the three biggest problems that are going to arise if you just try to make broad viral content and then also I want to share with you how you can use this strategy to get better leads and more sales because if you're watching this you're a business owner and you probably don't really care about getting massive views if it doesn't affect your
bank account and so we really want to make sure we're getting better leads we're want to make make sure we're getting more sales and that's what we're going to do first of all the three biggest problems with broad content is number one you're competing against massive channels so if you want to go ahead and make business content well guess what you're going to be competing with Alex her MOSI who probably has more experience than you do in the business world right so if you make a sales video and this is recommended next to his sales
video someone doesn't know who you are but they know who Alex rosi is they're probably going to click on this video because they know who he is and so he he's allowed to go a little bit more broad right because he has that brand built up he has that experience built up but then the other thing is your content can sometimes just feel replaceable right if you're just making the same content that everyone else is doing it can feel like um not very unique and so if you cover the same broad topics why wouldn't they
just choose the other person the second thing is Broad content can attract the wrong crowd this is the uh the reason the probably the number one reason why we're seeing a lot of these people start these business channels and we'll Deep dive into this and how you can do this too but ultimately for business owners sales are greater than views views are awesome but the views need to lead to sales and so we care more about sales and the truth is getting a ton of views does not mean you're going to make a ton of
money big views does not equal big sales and so for most viewers that are are going to come from this broad or viral content aren't going to be ideal customers for you because you're trying to reach such a wide net and unless your business sells to everybody and it and and it's really meant for everybody then that can work that's fine but for most of us our our businesses and our offers are Niche and for a specific person we want to attract those people to our channel so more views and less sales is a sign
that your content is just too broad and I want to share with you a good example uh to drive this home before I go in depth on Ean and Charlie and all these guys but uh what's really cool is one of my students inside the content Academy just you know four days ago Tyler got his first coaching client he joined a month ago inside the program just landed his first 90day um deal for $1,500 and so but I know that's like it it gets crazier because you know yeah 30 days first deal that's awesome 1,500
bucks cool here's the crazy thing Tyler has 264 subscribers and his videos aren't even like getting they're not going viral but what's cool is I actually told him to go more Niche to go more narrow and when he started doing that he started reaching the right people and you can even see here in his post he said that someone came through YouTube and they're part of the same group but he found him on YouTube and then he binge watched his stuff which is so powerful and why I think every business owner should have a YouTube
channel but you have to know how to reach the right people and you have to know how to get them to binge watch your stuff and so I want to break this down really quick something that Tyler did that was really really good so when he joined about a month ago some of his videos were attracting people uh it wasn't attracting his ideal person he helps videographers scale their videography business so not even just any videographer but you have a videography business owner like that's who he's trying to reach so you can see in this
video right here get more clients as an introvert easy mode imagine you don't you don't know what I just told you and you come across this video you would assume this is just a this is competing this is so broad it's competing with Alex it's it's compete it's competing with all these business guys on just how to get more clients and yes he's kind of saying for an introvert but what are the odds this gets sent to the crowd of videographers so I and even like this video did really well for him right got 2,000
views got way more views than his other stuff but it wasn't attracting his ideal person so I told him to start niching down a little bit more and check out these recent videos not as many views but it's the right viewer so give me 7 minutes I'll make you more money at a videographer he put it right there in the title and he's saying how to make you more money which is like the promise that he helps people with how to finally achieve a six figure income as a videographer land more not just clients notice
how he made it more specific this time so over here he said get more clients got 487 views this time he says land more video clients which is the right person he gets four times as less views but he makes way more money because he's bringing in the right people and now that he's doing this he doesn't need a ton of views to he doesn't need to go viral because sales matter more than views right and so let's go um down here uh and check this out so going viral isn't the goal attracting the right
audiences the and if you're thinking like who is the Right audience it's just your ideal customer make content for your current customers or for the customers you want ultimately that's the content you should be making in your head be going like okay I want this person to be my customer make content that would be valuable to them I'm hoping that this video is valuable for business owners out there I'm not making this video for someone trying to grow a gaming channel for someone trying to grow a vlog Channel this is for business owners and I'm
making it for you and be thinking about that when you make your content and so make that content for your ideal customer number three is that when you go broad you're just going to have less value for that ideal viewer and ideal viewer would be that customer right the ideal customer so broad content usually can't address specific needs making it less valuable to certain viewers because you can't go in depth on something specific when you're trying to make a video that reaches everybody so when you Niche down and you make more specific content for a
specific person it's more relatable and it's more relevant so think about this for a second when you Niche down and and and Tyler actually starts talking to videographers this video is going to be way more relevant to the videographer because it the whole video is for them versus this one which it's not going to feel as relevant especially if he's not maybe even his examples in the video are more broad is essentially this is more relevant and relatable for that videographer and ultimately when you do that that makes your content more valuable if it's more
relatable and relevant to their specific needs it's more valuable this video is more of a valuable video than your just everyday had to grown YouTube video because this meets your needs as a business owner and so the more value you give someone and that someone gets from your content the more likely they are to return to your channel which for the YouTube algorithm is really really powerful and if people are coming back to your channel even if it's not a ton they're going to send out those videos to more people just like the the person
that is binge watching your content which should be your ideal customer so it's really really powerful and I love this quote don't know who it's from but when you speak to everyone you speak to no one we want to speak to a specific person because we're trying to reach a specific person and so we can't speak to everyone all the time right so let's break this down um actually I got a few good examples here and then we'll break down uh imong gazi and Charlie Morgan examples and then I'll share with you how you can

to go viral focus on solving a specific problem or a promise for a specific audience so an example here is how to grow on Instagram that's broad how do you get more specific how course creators calling out the specific person can use Instagram to sell more right this might be the promise so you can focus on the problem you can focus on the promise how to lose weight and get fit or the 15minute homeworkout plan for busy parents wanting to lose weight kind of a long title but it's way more specific and so even here's
what people think and and and we'll break this we'll have to break this down in another video If you go more abroad you can get more views and that's how that's how you get more views you have to reach a wider audience but the thing is if you try to do that you're competing potentially with people who are just going to make better content than you the funny thing is you'll get more views making this video then you will make in this video if you don't know necessarily what you're doing or if you don't have
a big brand built up yet you'll just get more views and more the right viewers making this video here's another example how to cook healthy meals or five easy low carb meals that's calling out a specific person based on uh what they're looking for and also saying for beginners so get specific with your audience with the problems and the promises that you help them with okay Iman godi I don't even know if I'm saying that right but um you know he's kind of made this a little bit more popular especially with some of his stuff
that he's releasing now but I want to share with you why he's doing this so we're going to look at his main Channel which has 5.4 uh million subscribers it's broad it covers business personal finance self-development let's just take a look at this right here um you can see like let's just look at his videos they get a lot of views this one actually was more um more specific because he had a launch for his new business but like check this out 2024 was tough here's what I learned that is so broad right like anyone
who just thought the year was tough will watch that I mean could watch that video um brutally honest truth on how to get rich right he's not saying like how to get rich as you know an Ecom he's not saying how to get rich with real estate it's just how to get rich it's it's very Broad and so what's he what is he doing differently on his new channel is and you can even see it right here it's helping online entrepreneurs mainly talks like info product um entrepreneurs on how to scale to $10 million plus
in profit it's very different than if we look up here it says you get what you give it it's pretty generic and it's just like Finance um and and some lifestyle kind of like even this one right disappear come back unrecognizable seven rules to change your life that's not even really about business but business owners might click on that it's very Broad and so if we look at some of these videos notice how the titles are very different because they're trying to attract the right crowd down here how I built 100 million doll personal brand
he's trying to attract people who even maybe could you know want to build to a100 million type type of a personal brand and another thing is is this one made $20 million wor one YouTube video could he make this on his YouTube channel on on his main Channel he probably could but it's not going to get as many views and as he gets more specific like check this one out my five-step system to building a $100 million team that is so specific because most people like I'm like I I don't need to build uh you
know I don't need systems to build a hundred million team because I'm not there yet so this video is not for me and that's why he's doing it because this content is trying to attract a specific person so that the person who goes wow that is actually exactly what I need right now I need that hiring process to to scale to this level then they're going to click on that video and so that these 14,000 viewers essentially are going to be much better or better um more qualified viewers for his business and you can even
see here he is sending people to here I'll click on his most recent video you you'll see that like Charlie's doing this um Jordan is doing this they're all sending people uh to a to a very specific and different uh bck a call for eight figure license this is where they're sending the traffic on the business channel it's to a to a specific funnel a specific landing page for this audience whereas if we go back to iman's main Channel like let's even I don't even know what he's promoting uh in this video he's sending you
to this video which is like his YouTube vsl um I I have a whole video kind of breaking down how he does this and how I do this in my business you can click the top Link in my description if you want to um see exactly how to use a YouTube sales funnel which is what I call it iman's doing this I'm doing this a lot of my students are doing this making a ton of good money but um check this out so he's sending people this video on his main channel to warm them up
more and then they go over here and actually I don't even know where this is going so this is something different than this this is eight figure license and this is digital Launchpad this is going to be probably a lower ticket and this is going to be his higher ticket so two different audiences two different YouTube channels two different systems I hope you're kind of catching the vibe here and just to kind of you know put a bow on this essentially these videos aren't meant for everybody $100 million CEO Reveals His secret to keeping a
players how to run a top 1% team most people aren't there yet and that's why he's not posting it on his main channel it's because it's not for them it's not for that audience and uh this is going to be very valuable content that that these people who want to work with him and join this eight fig uh licens program they're going to get a ton of value out of this and that's the goal he's being more specific so they get more value and so I kind of broke this down here but I went over
it too right it's like this is where he talks about reducing refund rates hiring a a players scaling digital product business profitably it's like this is very specific and this is what separates influencers from business owners on YouTube so if you're a business owner stop trying to grow a YouTube channel like Mr Beast or these other you know YouTube gurus that are just telling you to do whatever you need to do to get a ton of views you got to be doing it the right way if your business owner you're wanting to go on YouTube
and ultimately you want to make money with your YouTube channel influencers focus on entertainment and Mass Appeal right going viral entrepreneurs focus on building authority right building trust and acquiring customers and so when you Niche down like what ean's done I'll give you a few more examples here to drive uh a couple other points that are super important home it's a lot easier to attract and to give value to your ideal customer so those videos are going to attract more of the right crowd than his main Channel and then it's going to give them more
value and so these business owners that I'm sharing with you they're creating these quote unquote low view YouTube channels because they're like micro niches and they're doing it on purpose cuz they're trying to sell something very specific usually High ticket to a specific crowd and if you want to do that too you have a high ticket course coaching program you should really consider attracting the right people to your channel because it's more valuable than just trying to reach everybody there and there is kind of some caveat to this right like reaching everybody then you could
sell to all of them but most of us like don't want to do that you know Ean is now selling like eyeglass eyewear that's going to sell amazing on his Vlog channel on his main Channel because everyone can buy it most of us don't have that most of us have a very specific course that we sell most of us have a very specific coaching program that we do and so we need to make sure we're reaching the right people let's take a look at Charlie Morgan real quick because he did the same thing right he
niched down even more and he was already talking about business look videos about business and stuff this is just more specific that's the key guys going more specific is going to make you more money so business videos for agency owners coaches and consultants and I believe like these are two different funnels this is going to take you to some sort of growth call thing we could check that out but this is going to take you somewhere else and it's a specific place because it's a different crowd and so Charlie Morgan he didn't pivot his channel
some of you are gonna Wonder should I just pivot my channel we could we could talk about that I'll probably make a whole video on that um some of you should just pivot or Niche down a little bit more or maybe some of you are just doing it right but for a lot of these guys there's not a big overlap right maybe there's a 20% overlap a 10% overlap but if you're going to Pivot you're going to want like a 60 to 70 80% overlap um I mean at least above 50% right or else it's
just going to slow down your growth you might as well start a new channel uh because you'll you probably will get results of the right viewers faster if you start a new channel and YouTube's pushing out new channels I I'd have to find uh I I have some guys in my content Academy that started a brand new channel and they're just like taking off they're getting uh one of my students got a th subscribers in in his first um in in the program the program is 90 days and he was getting maybe 60,000 views a
month and got a th000 subscribers starting from scratch because it was a completely new audience and so you definitely can it's still a great time to start a new channel is what I'm trying to say so his main Channel again covered broad topics whereas his specific content on his new channel covered stuff like Sales Systems hiring and even like cold email and so on this channel let's go to it it's not for everybody I made 10 million with cold email um give me n uh minutes I'll increase your show rate by 25% if he were
to post that video on here like look how broad this is want to be rich give up these four things if he posted that video on this channel it would this one didn't even get a ton of views but it would get even less than that because people are like I don't care about cold email on this channel they it's more Broad and so that's the key he's doing it here another good example and with Alex they actually um this was a little bit different and I should make a video breaking the this all down
but essentially you know Alex has two products he has a low ticket which is like school.com he also has his books then he has high ticket which is like partner with me and come to my you know workshops I think they're like I don't know if they're 5,000 or 15,000 then you can like Ascend and go higher and eventually partner with people and he has that kind of all on this channel right now but what I think would be awesome is like they should just make this channel for the beginners and just send ton of
traffic to school and maybe they'll do that eventually but Jordan another great example Jordan's doing this like how to get rich literally as broad as you can go yeah uh week in my life in La uh here are some Drop Shipping videos day in my life um you know pretty broad so then this is so specific uh big business mediocre videos but I want you to see this so if we go to this video do they oh wow they don't even have a I'm surprised they they're not selling anything in their description which is very
interesting I bet you they are here they got they got to be selling something here right uh start your free trial start a Shopify store um get a free generated Drop Shipping Store with AI I'm trying to figure out what they're selling but essentially you it's very clear so maybe this is what they're doing I don't know it's very clear here what he's selling right and and what he's doing he's making he's talking about how he makes YouTube videos makes money off of it and then if we click on it you're G to notice he
is Tiny you like he's talking about his own YouTube channel uh right like how he's making 138k a month with this small 2,000 subscriber YouTube channel so clearly like this funnel is working for him T you know like targeting a specific crowd and then just sending want to work with me go here that that's made him $138,000 apparently which is I mean that's awesome that's crazy with a small Channel and so he's even proving my point here that this works you know what I mean and he's just sending to a video and then I guess
you can click here to apply and he's attracting the right people which is awesome like this is super super cool um you know these guys are doing it they're really smart and we should be paying attention to what they're doing um and so going back to Charlie you know his main audience want to engage with his his Niche content if you did that which I mentioned and also a new channel it's going to attract the right people from day one when you're posting that specific content when you start fresh it it definitely will attract the
right people from day one YouTube will might take a few days to figure out who it's for and then it it'll just find the right people for you which is awesome if your new content doesn't align with most your current audience you know start a fresh Channel kind of touched on that and so you may not need to do you know start a new channel you might just need to Pivot um if you have less than 10,000 subscribers 20,000 subscribers like you could probably pivot even if there's not a huge overlap that's what I did
and it's I was doing like film making stuff uh and then now I'm just talking about YouTube and specifically for business owners so you could pivot I could make a whole video breaking that down all right let's get tactical here with how you can actually use this strategy the best way possible so first of all not everyone's going to need to Niche down if you're struggling though with growth here's how to know if it's time to maybe Niche down a little bit more because um you might not need to so experiment with Niche content get
more specific you know those examples I shared earlier take a look at those are you being specific calling out the right person and addressing their problems and giving them maybe even the the dreams right the promise post a few of these specific videos and also give it some time because your current audience might not like it but if eventually you start getting some views and your engagement goes up there's more comments saying this is super valuable like I my goal with my content is that if I'm getting comments of people saying like even if I
get 100 views on a video but I get comments saying like this is so valuable this worked for me this did that like that's the goal then you know you're on to something and so pay attention to that and then you have to track who's engaging are you attracting the right people and you've really found a good angle if your comments go up but your signups or your sales in increase then you know you've really done something something good there so stop chasing views if you're trying to grow your business and start by solving a
specific problem for one specific audience and then you can evolve over time a lot of us you know we want to post about everything it's like even Iman if we go back to his old videos he wasn't uh posting he wasn't posting the most broad content uh possible he actually started Niche and he's going back to those roots of starting really Niche he started with bodybuilding and then he moved into uh I think it was everyone's going to know I you know I don't know what it was it was something about um was it smma
I don't know something like that uh but essentially you know he started with working out videos and then he started uh talking about right here smma he started Niche and then he expanded over time so don't look at what these top YouTubers are doing today look at what they did to get there and and look at what their new Ventures are right these new channels why are they if you can understand understand why they're doing it then then it's really powerful and evolve over time you can start to broaden as you go at the end
of the day trust matters more than popularity I want people to trust me know me like me I don't care if a ton of people know me I care if the right people know me like me and trust me and here's the key to absolutely take this to the next level is I think the easiest way to get started doing doing this is not necessarily for every single video to be so so specific that it reaches a very small audience I do think every once in a while you should broaden out a little bit now
there's a balance because too broad is bad but if you go too Niche it can be great for those returning viewers who know who you are but you want to attract new viewers every once in a while and so there's this whole strategy I broke down it's called the YouTube sales funnel where you mix the connection content which essentially is the specific Micro Niche content with capture content which is made to get new views but still get the right viewers but it's made to get more views on YouTube if you want to Deep dive into
