in a busy period at the fancy Blue Pearl Hotel Susan a maid found a wallet full of money and turned it into to her manager instead of being thanked she was fired however the hotel owner decided to check the security footage and he couldn't believe his eyes hi everyone welcome to Tales unveiled today I'm excited to share a new story with you let's get started the blue pearl Hotel was a big fancy hotel in the heart of new York known for its top-notch services and giving first class treatment to her clients the hotel's name and
fame grew faster than any other Hotel in New York because the hotel had all the modern facilities beautiful exterior and interior designs and always felt like a home away from home reputable business companies would use the hotel for their annual events every year also at the end of the year it was normal to have a lined up chain of events at the hotel especially during the Christmas season Susan was a maid at the Blue Pearl Hotel she was a woman in her early 30s who worked really hard to support her family with her income she
had been working there for more than 2 years before an ugly incident happened since it was normal for the blue pearl hotel to have a lot of activities during the Christmas season the hotel was always full and the maids had to do a lot of work to keep everything in check one Christmas Eve Susan resumed work like every other day she had been assigned to clean eight sweets that day and they were all in terrible shape the guests who all stayed in those Suites had private parties and they made quite a mess but because Susan
was passionate about her job and never complained or murmured like the other Maids she took her cleaning tools and cleaned the sweets one after the other she knew she had to clean up the Suites on time so the next set of guests could check in without any disruption by the time Susan was done cleaning the first seven suets she was exhausted but because she was determined to finish up all the cleaning on time she moved to the last room the eighth Suite was the messiest the guests who had stayed there had littered bottles and disposable
cups everywhere they had mistakenly spilled alcohol on the sheets so they took the sheets off the bed and left them on the couch not only that the guests had forgotten to turn off the shower in the bathroom which was the first thing Susan did as soon as she walked into the suite after thoroughly cleaning the entire room and bathroom Susan picked up the stained sheets from the couch and was about to take them to the dry cleaner when a black leather wallet dropped out of the sheets as soon as Susan saw the wallet she suspected
that the guests who had just left the room must have mistakenly squeezed the wallet with the sheets and tossed it on the couch curious to know who the wallet belonged to Susan opened the wallet to check for any means of identification but as soon as she opened it she was shocked to see that the wallet was stuffed with lots of cash despite seeing all that money Susan did not let any ideas get to her head without wasting time Susan closed the wallet she marched straight to her manager's office to return it Adam was the manager
of the blue pearl Hotel and he was feared by all the maids and staff of the hotel Adam was a very strict and Stern man who never smiled at anyone or complimented the hotel's staff for their hard work there were even rumors that he was always having a bad day and in a bad mood in fact even Susan was afraid of Adam and she always tried her best to do things that would not get her into trouble with him in the past 2 years of her working at the Blue Pearl Hotel Susan had seen Adam
fire people in their numbers for making the slightest mistakes like forgetting to lock a room after cleaning or missing a guest's call so she did everything she could to stay out of his path on getting to Adam's office which was on the hotel's ground floor Susan knocked on his door and he told her to enter immediately Susan entered Adam's office she told him about the wallet stuffed with cash she had found in one of the guests Suites and handed the wallet to him Adam did not say a word to Susan until she gave him the
wallet and immediately after he saw the amount of money in the wallet he began to yell at her claiming that Susan never wanted to return the wallet I know who you are Susan do not think you can fool me with your pretense I see how you act like you're the best amongst your other Maids but in reality you're the worst of all tell me the truth you wanted to take this wallet did didn't you you only pretended to check if I was in my office and when you realized that I was here you were forced
to turn this in Adam yelled shocked at Adam's reaction and his response Susan tried to defend herself but Adam continued to yell at her and didn't let her speak his yelling could even be heard by the other staff on the hotel's ground floor while trying to plead for Adam to hear her out Susan heard the three words she dreaded the most you are fired Adam told her to go and take her things and leave the hotel premises immediately Susan was heartbroken and in tears when she realized that her good deed had cost her livelihood and
her only means of supporting her family since she already knew that there was nothing she could say or do to get Adam to change his mind Susan left the hotel in tears shortly after Susan left the hotel the new news of her unjust dismissal spread among the staff of the blue pearl hotel until It ultimately reached the ears of the hotel owner Mr fiser Mr fiser the hotel owner was a compassionate man who treated everyone with respect irrespective of their role or status in his hotel he was a man from a very humble background who
struggled his way to success so he had seen and experienced The Good the Bad and the Ugly of life unlike Adam who never commended the hotel staff for their hard work and commitment Mr fiser regularly appreciated his hotel staff and gave out gifts and bonuses for the most hardworking staff if he were to walk past his staff while they worked he would compliment them and thank them for their service Mr fiser had known Susan personally and had seen her work diligently for the two plus years she served at his hotel so when he heard that
Susan had been fired for turning in a lost wallet he decided to do a proper investigation to be sure that Adam had not fired Susan unjustly Mr fiser asked for the security footage of the corridor outside the eighth Suite which she had cleaned and he watched everything all Mr fiser saw was a hardworking and honest woman who went straight to her manager's office as soon as she found the wallet and it was apparent she had no intention of keeping it after Mr fiser watched the footage he called his hotel manager Adam to his office and
told him to watch it after watching the footage Adam knew he had acted irrationally by firing Susan without a proper investigation and he apologized to Mr fiser but Mr fiser told Adam that his apology was not enough and that he had to call Susan back and apologize to her in person then rehire her without delay Adam called SU an to return to the hotel he did that hastily because he knew he had messed up meanwhile before Adam called Susan to returned to the hotel he had contacted the wallet's owner and informed her about the wallet
they had found coincidentally Susan arrived at the hotel around the same time the wallet's owner did the wallet's owner thanked the hotel for finding her wallet and returning it safely when she learned that Susan had found her wallet while cleaning the suite she tipped Susan generously for her honesty and transparency to show her gratitude to the hotel the wallet owner also left a shining festar review on the hotel's website after the wallet owner left the hotel Adam apologized to Susan for firing her the way he did and rehired her to continue working as the hotel
maid when that happened Susan was so happy and she thanked the hotel owner Mr fiser for helping her get her job back days later at at the Blue Pearl hotel's end ofe party for staff Susan was thrilled she wasn't just named staff member of the month she was also awarded staff member of the Year this was a huge honor and it came with a lot of perks but the best part was Susan got promoted all the other Maids now reported to her she was a fair and kind boss always treating everyone with respect meanwhile things
weren't going so well for Adam his arrogance had caught up with him he had been demoted to a caretaker position this was a much lower job and it was meant to teach him to be more grateful for what he had after that Christmas incident Susan continued to work at the Blue Pearl hotel for years until she retired on her own she became a model of honesty transparency and integrity for her colleagues and every new member of Staff who joined the hotel sometimes being honest may not feel like the right thing to do especially in what
