praise God praise God you may please be [Music] seated Thank You choir looking very shiny this morning [Applause] when the Bible talks about arise shine was it you [Applause] guys very nice praise the Lord I'm starting a new series of Teaching this [Applause] morning and um I believe it's going to be a blessing raised to fight so many Christians don't know anything about fighting so I'm sure you have your writing material I think it's been a while I preached on a Sunday morning yeah so we we Back we back interesting let's start from judges the
Book of Judges chapter number three there are many thoughts many thoughts going through my mind I'm looking at definitely today will be um the introduction to the topic so we can acquaint ourselves with it all right so many Christians know little about fighting I know a lot of them know a lot about being a good person but make sure you're following yes sir I love Christians know a lot about being a good person being a kind person which is very important know a lot about being loving being good in fact that's the reason [Music] For
um the good in intentions that they have you see a Christian who says oh I want to get into Parliament I want to get into politics and all the wonderful things going on in their mind and when I get there I'm going to do this I'm going to do that for the nation but what many good people don't understand is that you would need to learn to fight if You're going to be good for long and that's the sometimes the missing peace with a lot of Christians the missing peace there now let me say this
good people are wasted a lot good people are wasted a lot now don't you think that the challenges that came into your life after you got born again don't you think God could have stopped Them think let's think about it because people don't know the reason for challenges that God allows I'll say it again people don't know the reason for challenges that God allows there are challenges God allows to get to you there are challenges that God does not allow to get to you someone say Pastor what you saying is it in the Bible yes
maybe we should look at 1 Corinthians chapter 10 for are you sure you're here sir let's read from verse number 10 I want to show you something there neither M ye as some of them also murmured and were destroyed of the Destroyer now all these things happen unto them for in samples and they are written for admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come verse 12 wherefore let him that thinket he Stand and take he L he fall verse 13 there had no temptation this is what I want you to see they had
no temptation taking you but such as is common to man that means there's nothing that ever came to you that was bigger than you people don't know the reason for challenges and why God sometimes allow challenges now you look at yourself and think why why did God allow this thing to happen to Me right then I want to take you to okay maybe I should finish reading this so you get it you get everything but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able I I thought that if
he said but God is faithful the next thing should be but God is faithful who will stop all Temptations from coming to you he said God is God is able who will not suffer you to be tempted about what you are able anything that came to you Was tayor made for you you were measured said this she can take it now some people don't really like the sound of that come on so now let's see Judges chapter 3 I started by saying let's go to Jud 3 let's go to Jud CH 3 I read it
in the King James then we'll read it in the living Bible he said now these are the Nations which the Lord left uhoh Background now God has given the land is is led by anyway um I mean I think this is good news we we have uh four of our leaders who have gone to start churches with their fellowships yeah so they started today praise God hallelujah and I'm seeing one of them around I'm wondering why okay let's go he said now these are the Nations which the Lord left now I said I was giving
you a little background now led by Joshua God gives Them the land and God tells them what to take what place is to take now when Joshua divided it for the tribes the Bible says something very striking and gets my attention a lot of the time when I read this he said now these are the Nations which the Lord left to prove Israel by them even as many of Israel as had not known all the walls of canadan Living Bible here is a list of the Nations the Lord left in the land to test the
new generation of Israel who had not experienced the wars of Canaan let me tell you this God wants the best for you but he doesn't want to make you a weakling in the process there are some challenges the Lord will leave so you learn how to fight why because if God does not do that whatever their forefathers fought for them to have they will lose it Joshua at this time remember the Book Of Joshua comes before the Book of Judges before um Joshua has fought many wars to win many lands Joshua defeated 32 Kings God
said even though he has defeated the 32 Kings and given them this land I'm going to keep some people there so that the fight will continue so that this new generation will learn to fight he says for God wanted to give come on now for God wanted to give Opportunity to the Youth of Israel to exercise faith and obedience in conquering their enemies you know you know if all of Christianity you've learned is give me give me give me give me give me you you you you are joking and I told people some people don't
know why the the reason they don't know the reason for challenges I me I mean sometimes when I'm I'm sharing the word of God with you In church I'm sharing I share a scripture you're listening I'm share a scripture then I tell you a story then your eyes are open it looks like even the story I'm telling you is is making more sense to you than the scripture I read okay so when I was passing through you thought it was funny when I was going through it you thought it was funny but God knew it
was tayor made for me and the testimony is more Important so instead of sitting down to cry see it as opportunity to exercise your faith okay the Philistines five cities then he mentions them the Canaanite the sidonians the hites living in Mount Lebanon from bahem onto the entrance of amama all these people all these five nations the Lord kept them there the Lord kept these nations there and make sure that these nations don't die let me tell you something if you Read church history if you read church history you will notice that the church became
Alert in the time of adversity when everything is fine the Christians they pray in the morning oh father thank you Father thank you Lord thank you for the word so sweet thank you for for bread thank you for tea in fact they will reduce the prayer to the extent That you know God is so good to us and they are prospering God is so good to us God is so nice to us everything is fine everything is good you bring them food they say plus God minus devil they start [Laughter] eating and God sees said
that these people are getting are drawing far and Far Away from me Bible says the prosperity of the fool will destroy him that means a fool can Prosper just that that Prosperity will destroy him so God looks at the Christians and says no no no no this this not good then he allows covid then Christians they pray you think God has sense rough no you yourself check your prayer life don't you think that your prayer life heightens when there are challenges Exodus Exodus 13 Exodus 13:1 15 and it came to pass when Pharaoh hardly let
us go that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt now I want I want to follow this and there's something I want to bring out here then we'll continue both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beasts therefore I sacrificed to the Lord all that open the Matrix being males but all the firstborn Of my children I redeem and it shall be for a token upon thine hand and for frontless between Thine Eyes For by strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt next verse and it came

taught through story she's doing what she has been taught so she's massaging and the people will get well the people tell the hospital oh thank you so much I'm getting said one day the admin called said hey don't do it well I'm not Joking this the real story in the and and anytime she's doing she said anytime she was doing she would be speaking in Tong speaking in Tong speaking in Tong so she was putting power into the leg said that me to they said no do it so that they can keep coming you you
