go and uh last Sunday we we introduce the subject raised to fight let me start by first of all addressing something can you um reduce the volume a bit it's um to okay praise the Lord all right I'll first of all start by saying this okay reduce a bit then reduce the base praise the lord we use the base of it again praise the Lord It's better um so I started by first of all addressing something very important in uh this midweek service usually midweek Services we're able to go a little further with the teaching
so I want all of us to pay attention cuz we'll continue from there I'll start by first of all saying this you see him as a Christian when you notice that you know something and what you know is not producing anything for you you have to be very humble what do I mean by you have to be very humble you have to find out what don't I know because when you hear a Christian say why this topic why raise to fight what are we fighting Jesus has already won everything for us and you see the
person's life that is saying that thing you are in shock has Jesus won the battle yes so why then we do we need to fight because Jesus can win the battle and you can have a totally different experience you can have a totally different experience even though everything in the word of God will say otherwise you can have a totally different experience so as usual I'll start with a story in a true life story I noticed that when I was growing up as a Christian there was this man very good and nice man and uh
he was a doctor and a pastor so I'm so I was growing up as a Christian and this wonderful doctor he was even a partner right to let you know that how involved in the house of God that he was he was a partner he was a doctor a very good good man right he had his own hospital um so one time now at this time at this time I'm not a pastor I'm a leader in church but for some reason because God helped me to um have like knowledge of the scriptures in a way
that I search the scriptures for myself and I'm one person that also always asks questions if somebody I'm telling you where I think if somebody was always shouting oh I'm this I'm this I'm that right then I look at his life and what he's shouting what he's saying does not move um I will not join him to shout immediately I would like to ask questions because I don't want to join him to shout and be the same way I us I usually like to ask questions a lot so when I was growing up that's why
when I started um preaching in church one of the first messages I preached was why the word of God does not work sometimes because every time I saw people in church excited about the things of God doing this doing that and after because sometimes you don't look for the result of of um their Christian walk immediately so after a protracted period of time a year I'm giving you um the time duration that Jesus Christ gave when he would talk talked about the parable of the man or of the tree that was not bearing fruit he
said let's give it three years then after 3 years he said let's give one more year so you look at the the the years to expect result is when you so when you get born again in one year there will be something to show in a way in one year but most of the time what you see in that one year will be more spiritual then you have to look out for three years in three years you have to check your Christian Life to see all things being equal if you followed prayer regimen followed the
fasting you follow the study of the word of God the meditation of the word of God after 3 years you should be able to see some progress then also after that 3 years you give an extra one year then also there's the S year and there's also the 10 year period now all these are good uh time benches to check yourself and examine what your Christianity is looking like inwardly and outwardly now uh when Paul said in Hebrews 5:2 we said when are the time you ought to be teachers all right so that means we
will have to study time to know what we are supposed to do for example if a child was um shouting uh uh mama mama uh poo poo right the the mom will even be excited that this child is even saying it he didn't do it there do you get it but why is it that when you do that at a20 they they'll ask you are you crazy why is it that because they've they put time benches for different manifestations so at 20 is say no this is not the time for that all right so the
time duration for that has long gone so in in your walk with God there are certain tempates like you look out four in a year my favor in Christ supposed to be like this in 3 years I'm supposed to be doing this in 7 years I'm supposed to be like this in 10 years I'm supposed to be like this there are all these time benches and all of them are in Scripture that you have to really study to see them so I used to observe people a lot and most of the time I was very
disturbed that some people you look at them and you see their commitment they're so committed and you look at their life and you're looking looking for the result of the commitment now result of commitment is not always Financial all right even though um that could also be um something to look out for sometimes if all scriptural principles are followed but there's a way to know progress there's a way to know progress in in your Christian walk you know you see the progress especially with the advancement of the word of God in you okay so I
say this when um I was this with I was with this doctor one day he drove me um he he made me sit in his car at this time he's uh he's doing really well he drove me in his car and he's going he's going somewhere with me and he begins to talk to me about something so is he's preaching to me he's telling me he said do you know I've never had an all night in my life and he's a pastor right and a doctor and I'm like oh really he said what am I
having all night for the what you call the glory Jesus is the glory in me I'm telling you true story is said there the glory I am the glory of God so that means I don't need to look for Glory anywhere Glory you see I I I don't bother myself and it's time to sleep I sleep hi do you know while he was talking I said to myself of error error I knew that thing was not correct well years later Church did not grow he became very sick you see anytime I'm preaching I say you
see just know that I'm coming to drop something there are fundamental teachings in the Bible never re receive any Revelation that alters Foundation they are fundamentals in Christianity you are in a time where there's abundance of Revelation and knowledge and people are concerting different kinds of Revelation you don't have to you you you don't have to pray you see you don't have to pray prayer is just in the morning just thank the Lord just thank the Lord because he has fought all your battles there's nothing for you to do in Christ we are victors we
have the victory there's no need for no don't even pray too much when you pray too much sometimes it's too much different kinds of Revelations now you know the sad thing about those Revelations those Revelations is like they sponsor your laziness you don't have to be a giver Christ has already made you everything you don't have to give let me show you how to handle Revelation if what you know at the level you know it is working until a greater light comes use what you know lesser truth is not a lie so if somebody thinks
that I'm I'm saying that uh with something in mind I'm not necessarily saying what I'm teaching is lesser truth I'm saying if somebody comes with somewhat a greater truth you have not seen it yet do what you know and most of the time check the life of the person who is telling you that greater truth his life looks nothing like that truth PM 144 I started with that Scripture A Psalm of David blessed be the Lord my strength who teacheth My Hands to War and my fingers to fight because of some people I'll have to
and and you are in very wonderful times where people want to debate everything so something that we should have just glanced over and just moved into we have to give you some background especially maybe it's your first time here or something now some people say um but this is talking about physical figh and in the Old Testament we're fighting physical fight you worry yourself too much let's go blessed be the Lord my strength we teached My Hands to War and my fingers to fight now you have to understand that truth is parallel in the L
of the time you will see what was physical in the Old Testament is spiritual in the new so the principles will apply and that's the reason why we look at the truths in the Old Testament though physical we can apply them in the new because in the new they will be spiritual for example the principle of War all right if somebody wanted to take um over a city and take over the the the the spoil there and take over the treasures there as it was in the Old Testament if someone wanted to do that what
they will do is they will engage in a physical battle when they engage with that battle if they win they take the spoil now Jesus knew that this was a physical thing but in one of his teachings he mentioned that if a strong man keepeth his Palace his goods are in peace so yes that is a physical truth but then it is applicable spiritually because Jesus was at uh with that teaching he was addressing something spiritual he was actually talking to them about if he cast out Devils by the uh by the spirit of God
he says then the kingdom of God is come upon you so he was actually dealing with a topic on spiritual warfare when you you you you study that context he was actually dealing with spiritual warfare then he gave that analogy so all the truths that you see revealed in the Old Testament that were physical are applicable spiritually so in the New Testament go to 2 Corinthians chapter 10 2 Corinthians 10 verse three he says for though we walk in the flesh we do not war after the flesh but we War but not after the flesh
for though we walk in the flesh he didn't say we do not war he says we do not war after the flesh but we War actually then he goes to verse four it says for the weapons of our Warfare that means we have a Warfare a Christian will be fooling himself to think that Jesus has finished and that you don't need Warfare and one of the biggest the one of the biggest things that the devil loves he loves it he loves it when he's Incognito he the devil loves it when you say this one is
not the devil he knows it's him he say yes it's not me he he loves to be in cognito he loves when Christians are are moving with such Revelations now I I understand that there are Christians who have moved this Warfare thing to the extreme they move it to the other side if coach pass is the blood of Jesus if I understand that and I also understand the others on the other side who say there's no need for Warfare because Christ has done everything that's crazy has nothing to do with the Bible and anybody who's
who thinks like that is not spiritually intelligent you know why because and I'll give you an example like for example you see in a church they probably don't believe that you know uh someone who is born again can be afflicted by the devil then you see people in the church being real time Afflicted the girl goes to sleep and is always being buffeted by a spirit in the night but but then she will come to church and they'll tell her that there's nothing like that not based on the light of God's word but denying the
fact like one time Pastor Chris thought he said faith is not a denial of the fact you know Faith Christians I'm using that in in parenthesis or in com is Faith Christians his stomach is hurting he says my stomach is not hurting my stomach is not hurting that's not Faith that's foolishness boom boom boom boom migraine migraine boom boom boom boom boom and his his or her faith Proclamation that he or she is trying to use to get out of his that it's not there it's not there and the devil is saying yes it's not
day it's not day okay so then what do you do what do you say you don't deny the fact you deny the fact's power over you so you use the word of God to override the situation not say it is not there because he's there I got one time I'm praying pray with some guys and they they're singing a song it's not by might it's not by power by my spirit says the Lord this mountain has been removed it has it has been removed what are you doing there what are you doing there in the
prayer meeting since it has been removed it is at that time you are praying it shall be removed Jesus you shall sometimes it's not forbidden when in your spirit you know you have dealt with it you can say this mountain has been removed but you are starting the prayer meeting you are in Warfare mode you say this mountain has been removed it has been removed what are you doing there okay Jesus has won what am I doing in Warfare what am I doing in battle what am I doing there let me tell you what you
doing there in 1863 1 of January Abraham Lincoln signed what was called the Emancipation Proclamation which spelled that the there should be no slaves slavery was abolished but you got independence 1957 it was signed 19 1863 you got in the 1957 took more than a 100 years for it to be realized because you see the oppressors don't recognize document until you enforce the law written you have to understand the character of your adversary oppressors always behave like they've not seen the law okay I'll give you a very good example do you know in this country
it is it is illegal to rent a or sell a property in dollars go to East Leon tomorrow and go and ask for rent you tomorrow you just if tomorrow just go to and go ask for rent or go and ask for the price of the house you just don't don't go far E le they will cod dollars for you so when God says go and fight he's telling you to carry the document of Victory to go and demand it the scriptures contain the law in prayer we enforce its reality prayer is law enforcement do
you hear me prayer is law enforcement how how many of you know that in this country it is illegal to steal let me see your hand in this country it's illegal to steal right why do we have police because somebody will steal you've got to understand that so there is the law and there's the enforcement of the law so they call them the law enforcement agency why because even though it's written if you like tomorrow let's go and have a symposium for all thieves that listen in Article 5 subsection 54 you don't have to steal
in this country if you steal you will go to jail they will tell you Fe and steal you so Jesus taught them to pray he said when you pray say thy will be done what's thy will be done thy will be done doesn't mean anything you want to do Lord no thy will be done is we take your will and we enforce it on the earth don't fall for those lies Jesus has done it but if you see your life is going opposite direction engage combat engage a combat engage in combat many Christians are not
trained to be combatant they are trained to be good but not trained to be combatant they're trained to be nice which is important but they're not trained to be combatant so every time bad things are happening to good people then to show you that they are naive they say God why then other Christians more naive will say ah how did that guy die we know him he was a giver he was always going to church oh this guy he was always around this guy is so kind oh this guy oh this guy oh this guy
every time he's coming to church you'll just be giving sick um uh uh beggar money on the road oh this guy he's so nice he's so good oh this guy why why if you are not naive and you understand how these things work you should you should to know that the more reason why he will be under that kind of attack is because he's good cuz you're in a bad world the the guy is always so good then he's struck by sickness in his body he's a good guy everyone is looking at him then they'll
pray and he'll say oh God look at him he's been so good well news flash he's so good right good people also needed in heaven or they don't like good people in heaven you've never seen the book of Psalms precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints oh you've never seen it precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints if a Christian dies he has not lost anything he doesn't have to be alive if he's going to be alive he has to demand it Paul said
for me to live as Christ to die is gain when a Christian dies he has not lost anything he's rather going to be with the Lord Jesus if he say he doesn't want to be with the Lord Jesus yet and that he wants to be on this Earth to fulfill his purpose or whatever it is he wants to do he need to demand it put this in your pocket as you walk this through this Earth bad things happen to good people because most good people are expecting their goodness to fight for them but it doesn't
work like that quick story I was in a meeting with a a man of God he was telling me something he said something that caught my attention and I said this is so true he said they were when they were in school when they were in school one time uh I mean I think it was junior high school or senior high school and this man of God at that time he said he used to be very fascinated by taond do so he was learning Taw he was a man of God at the time but he
was one of the good guys right but he was so fascinated by Taekwondo he he really likes Taekwondo so anytime you know they are learning it he go to learn Taw you know those things so um while he was learning it one time there's this guy who usually comes to the school and he likes to like because he's big he likes to bully people so he came to to their class one day and he starts drumming and doing different things disturbing the class there's no teacher there but people wanted to study and nobody stands up
to this guy because this guy is a bully everybody knows him as a bully now this man of God who's a good guy stands up to him and says leave this class so the guy said if I if I don't leave what will you do he went he actually fought with him and beat him up and they took him out the good guy knowing how to fight was able to save all his men good guys must know how to fight especially if they are going to do good for long are you sure you're here yes
sir I shared a lot last week I don't want to keep staying there but so I'll continue I'll go a little further then on Sunday we go again yes sir right so I was talking about where I left off last week was I was talking about the attitude of a fighter there is a fighting attitude do you understand there's a fighting attitude don't say I'm not used to this you're going to suffer there's a fighting attitude one of the attitude you know with a fighter is that nothing is ever enough you see I want I
want I want to challenge you once good things for your community one good things for your family one good thing because some people when when I had the the meeting with the ladies I was telling them I said some people are never interested in anything that suggest more they're not interested and that's one of the things that you see about rich guys and poor guys I mean poor is even to that especially average guys let me tell you this it just might be a little tough when you are moving from poverty into riches right but
let me tell you it cost less to be rich you're wondering what I mean do you know that most millionaires and billionaires evade tax is the poor people who pay and the the guys they don't evade tax by it's not like they not they're not paying you they know the loopholes in the system and they use it to evade tax if you are rich it cost less look if you think it's it's it's it's it's not true I remember when I was an athlete I used to always be either first or second or third I
don't go past that the day I was last I I was more tired yes the day I was last that's the day I knew that last is more pain is more you suffer being last oh did I that's I learned a very big lesson that I'll never be last because when I was what happened that morning I did not really warm up so when I came because I was always first second so when I came I was just moving myself about and and and instructor was like ah what yes that's I'm ready I'm ready I'm
ready so that was the first time as I was running what you know if anybody who understand the 400 m race understands what I'm about to say you have to strategize it because it's long so you have to strategize it in the beginning you have to stretch your leg stretch your leg when you get to the final 200 then you power all right now I how I used to run my 400 m race was I I don't because I didn't really have long legs I don't stretch my legs actually use some speed when I get
to the last 200 I will power I just put more speed so that's how was run but that day I I felt um all those who have been stretching their legs I'm going to try it I'm going to try it today so I'm I'm I'm I'm on the the last Lane the E Lane and I start stretching my legs I'm stretching my legs everybody's coming I'm like hey what am I doing here today when I got to the last one I said let me power I was so tired I I suffered to be last tell
somebody win wi tell another person no excuse no excuse you get it before that let me even tell you this do you realize that for you to even um for example God told the children of Israel that they were going to uh have go to the promised land but they got there they were giants there all right do you realize that when God even took them to the promised land and any Christian who understands this will have will be more interested in becoming stronger I told you something on Sunday don't always blame your your your
president no always blame your president let me tell you something if you think everything is fair and that's the reason why I'm very concerned for Christians because Christian Community makes you see things in a very naive way which the Bible does not teach Jesus Christ told his disciples I'm sending you as sheep among wolves he said I'm sending you as a sheep Among Wolves so the world view of Christians is that those are those Jesus said no that be wise servant they think everything is fair your countries your nations are not playing on a fair
ground let me let you know that your nations are not playing on a fair ground let me tell you this you see when you go to the military of most African nations their militaries are outed because the oppressors will never allow you to have a good military they will tell you they will come and train your military why because the day you have a good military your country will begin to change why because they cannot be bullied anymore they cannot be bullied anymore that means to be strong is as important as being rich okay look
at Judges chapter one Judges chapter one verse 28 I didn't say it these are once again these are not my words verse 28 and it came to pass when Israel was strong that they put the Canaanites to Tribute a land that said he has given them it is when they became strong that they put the Canaanites to Tribute and it came to pass look at that's the Bible it says and it came to pass when Israel was strong that they put the Canaanites to Tribute but guess what they were not even that strong enough why
and did not utterly drive them out that's like managing the problem but it still take took them being strong to be able to even manage the problem a land that God said he has given them now God even said something in the book of Exodus when they got to the promised land when they were getting to the promised land God told them he said I cannot give you the whole land something God promised them he said I cannot give you the listen I'm I'm trying to convince you to be committed to Growing be committed to
being strong be committed to to to to fighting be committed to becoming more Exodus 23 look at verse 28 I'll read 28 and 29 and I will send Hornets before thee which shall drive out the hites the canite now God is speaking to them said I will send hor it before thee they will drive it they drive out the hites the Canaanite and the HTE from before thee now this is a miracle this is a miracle all right but God is going to teach them something that a miracle has a limit yeah God will teach
them something that Miracles have a limit he said I will I will send Hornets before thee which shall drive out the heite and the kite that means you know this land the hites are there the canites are there the Hittites are there but I'm going to send a Hornets they are going to go ahead of you and drive out the the these guys from the land but he tells them something in verse 29 which is more important he says I will not drive out from before thee in one year those of you who want to
have $1.5 million in one contract all right in one year Les the land become desolate and the Beast of the field multiply against thee in other words if I drive all if I drive them out from the whole place how will you manage it the place is bigger than you listen some of things that you are praying for are bigger than you grow so the guy is play is praying for a he's praying for a company oh Lord give me a company I want to but God is looking at him said you don't have the
capacity that you you you you will destroy what you are you want you will destroy it God is God is even having mercy on you you think he's not answering your prayer he's having mercy on you a miracle have a limit he say why because you guys have not have not increased all right next verse by little and little I will drive them out before thee until thou be increased he said I'll do little by little until you increase hey boy grow go and pick up some courses because your current knowledge can't handle what you
are praying about invest in yourself don't wake up in the morning Tik Tok day one day two you wake up that's it that's your life and when you finish say father I'm praying midnight father I'm praying you are the one that open every door CU say if I open this door let me shock you God would rather give an opportunity to an unbeliever who is prepared than a Believer who is not prepared so that the believe the unbeliever who's prepared will have the opportunity and employ the believer who is not prepared so that the believer
can eat cuz the believer still has to eat all is the love of God you don't understand love people don't know love there are some cses if you start in two years time you are better off fight yourself when fight yourself that's the first fight is yourself you need to fight yourself when I'm saying fight fight raise to fight fight yourself first anytime you stand in front of the mirror the man you see in the mirror is your biggest enemy there's a version of that man inside that man you need to bring out one day
God told me I was about to pick a taxi he says and this is many years ago he said Enoch you are the raw version of everything you could ever be I'm like w from that day I committed myself to Excellence to getting better at everything everything that I do fight yourself I was talking about the attitude of her the attitude of a fighter want more for yourself do you understand you know when I say that I'm not trying to get you to be greedy or cous but at least respect yourself I read a scripture
to the sisters let let me read it to you guys 1 Samuel chapter 17 why did I read it to the sisters because most sisters don't think of anything in their life except some somebody giving them flowers for many of them marriage is the end of their struggles forever and ever amen finally they look at the finally I've suffered so I told them I said I'm not going to read any debor to you because when anytime ladies guy either Deborah or I said I'll talk to you about David because the Bible is not a gender
book we do we can be Deborah yes sir do you understand yes sir yeah and and I Deborah arose a mother in Israel we can all arise so you two you can be David Esther we can be Esther we can find oursel in strategic positions in government be doing that means that means you can't follow Jesus I've close I've close 1 samel 17 first samel 17 oh boy are you learning something yes sir today is like I'm doing surgery eh yes sir yeah go and learn something go and learn a course go and learn a
skill you know some people feel attacked you know yes let me attack you know why a lot of people travel outside the country and and they go and do Minal jobs because they never went there with a skill one of our sisters here before she went the Holy Spirit was telling her learn how to breed learn how to breed something as small as breed learn how to breed learn how to breed she learned it she she didn't know she would travel the next year the next year happened she traveled she didn't have to ever go
to look for a job there and she was making a lot of money add some something to yourself God says I will drive them out little by little until you are increased did I give you a verse all right verse 22 verse 22 let's look at it and David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper all right and David left his carriage in the hand of The Keeper of the carriage and run into the army and came and saluted his Brethren now they are fighting the war and David has been sent to go
and give them food next verse and as he talked with them behold there came up the champion the Philistine of gath Goliath by name hold on just a second I want to I I want to that the Holy Spirit told me something I want all the sisters the ladies put yourself in groups and study the book recreating your world before Friday don't read it alone put yourself in groups however you do it you can do it in fellowships however you do it but you can do it in fellowships all right the guys the book prophecy
even though I will not meet with you but that book prophecy so the ladies recreating your world the guy's prophecy all right let's continue and as he talked with them behold they came up the champion the Philistine of goth gol by name out of the armies of the Philistines and spake according to the same words and David heard them that means gol is saying all sort of wrong things and David heard and all the men of Israel when they saw the man fled from him and were so afraid and I told them I said fear
does not have gender the men were afraid too and the men of Israel said have you seen this man that has come up surely to defile Israel is he come up and it shall be that the man who kth him the king will enrich him with great riches and will give him his daughter and make his father's house free in Israel I mean these guys are saying it and they've not gone to fight I ask myself didn't they want these three things rich in Israel the King's Daughter free in Israel that means no tax these
three things have been said and the guys they are even telling people that this is what the king said the king said that if you do this one this you get this and this and that what why don't you go why the passivity don't I mean if you're a fighter you hear something like that H this this sounds good this sounds something nice no fine look nice and shine this is nice I wow some people he they said that the king said that the who are you who are we talking about all right let's go
next verse and David spake to the man that stood by him saying what shall be done to the man that killed this Philistine and take away the reproach from Israel for who is this uncircumcised philistin that should have def fire the armies of the Living God next verse and the people answered him after this manner saying so shall it be done to them man they even telling David said tell me tell me what what did the king say again he said they say the king said that if you this one the first one is that
he will become rich number two he will get a king's daughter and number three he's house is going to be free in Israel going to pay any tax they told him again next verse and elab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men and eliab's anger was kindled against David and he said why came thou down hither and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness I mean he looks down upon him and says hey you you a sheep go go go to the Sheep what are you saying do you
think we are joking here think we are playing here I know thaty Pride you know sometime people mistake confidence for Pride it's not Pride what you call Pride is not Pride I know that pride and the naughtiness of thy heart for thou had come down that thou might see the battle I know you you're coming to watch us and David said what have I now done is there not a course okay go ahead and he turned from him to one another and spake after the same mother that mean David kep asking what did you say

have full picture said they have full picture and the people answered him again after the former man that they kept saying the same thing listen we are telling you again so David said withit the daughter how old is she she is 22 describe it describe it oh her hair is plenty and oh nice oh nice so at that time goad's voice is not thinking of he's thinking of the picture that you have shown him want nice things for yourself sir am I talking to somebody here that's a fighter those who are not Fighters anything they
get you know a life whatever they God give you you take it like that anything that they give you you take it like that no you become a fighter you first of all start by fighting yourself and then you do away with being passive that's number one Never Enough nothing is ever enough because if we have more we can help more people are you listening to me if we have more we can help more people number two importunity there's something called importunity before that let me read a scripture to you in the book of Ezra
look at somebody say fight fight you know I see that God is going to do great things with your life [Applause] amen I see that you are going to take over yes I see that you're going to be more are you listening sir yeah thank you Lord Jesus Ezra chapter 8 verse 20 now I'll give you a little background then we go there Ezra has taken permission from the King to go and build the temple but you see just like all Christians we do we we yab Ezra told the king the king asked should I
give you soldiers to help you because during those times to leave that place to go to where they are supposed to build the temple arm robers could attack attack them so Ezra told the king so the king ask should I give you people to go with you Ezra said no God can help us our God will be able to help us so while they were going they realized that it's not like that let me tell you what Ezra did Mak go there verse 20 also of the neims whom David and the princesses appointed for the
