it's just so interesting because you may feel lost for a bit but finding peace in it honestly um kind of calms you down and so it's very difficult to find peace remember I've been there I did it natural for a very long time then when I couldn't make any more gains I went on performance nancing drugs I got my ipb Pro card but then what I managed to place fourth as an ipb Pro but that's the best that I could do and so I had to Pivot I couldn't just abuse performance in ing drugs for
the rest of my life and so I stopped and I used actual required HRT 140 Mig not the 250 300 and so on that you see many of these people doing who have testosterone levels of 1,300 1500 and so on this is not healthy this is an excuse to stay on steroids and so what do I do now I bike race which sport do you think is healthier racing on zift doing cardio or dieting to 4% body fat and trying to win a professional bodybuilding competition while abusing steroids and so Mike isrel when I continue
to say he should retire from the sport that he doesn't have to prove anything why do you think that is Anthony mtell is half of his age Anthony Mello already realizes this Mike iSell who claims to be so much smarter he can't give it up and why do you think that is I don't have the answer but what he needs to do is to self-reflect F and if this applies to you you're abusing steroids ask yourself why will it ever stop when is enough enough when SE bomb won his first Mr Olympia title was that
enough three times five when he was in the hospital diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which almost certainly will shorten his life and using steroids it does in fact affect your kidneys and can it make it a lot worse was six titles enough well yes the answer was six was enough but was it too much will Chris in 10 or 20 years from now regret those decisions how did it turn out for Ronnie Coleman were those Eight titles worth it maybe he says it was but when you see him in pain in a wheelchair barely able
to walk was it worth it does anyone think that if Ronnie Coleman had remained 100% natural that he wouldn't have had an impressive physique Ronnie Coleman while 100% natural looked better than 9 99.999% of the world unbelievable most people even with steroids could never get a physique as impressive as Ronnie Coleman when he was natural but it wasn't enough and what ultimately happened to Ronnie he has to medicate himself with pain meds and so on he's struggling but had he remained natural perhaps he wouldn't have done the wear and tear on that body he wouldn't
have been deadlifting and squatting 800 lb he wouldn't have been that strong and so perhaps his body would have remained healthy the steroids that makes your body do things that it wasn't physically designed to do and so if you're on steroids be careful and ask yourself why am I actually doing this am I doing this for me really or am I doing it for the approval of other people Mike isrel he says he's doing it because he wants to prove that his RP strength training system is better than everyone else did it prove anything and
even if he won remember if he had gotten the proper 10 he clearly would have W but even if he did how does that matter it doesn't matter I'm telling you the closer you get to your dream the further your dream will be trust me I talked to many of the most famous social media influencers in the world and many of them they're not happy they buy that new car BMW Lamborghini It's never enough 6 months later what else do I need to buy they look at their viewers their followers I only got half a
million views on this video I feel bad I used to get a million and so happiness doesn't come from a certain level of achievement it comes from achieving more than you are anticipating or expecting if you expect to make $100,000 an a year and you made 200,000 you're going to be so happy it's through the roof you can't believe it but if you expect to make $10 million in a year and you only made three what am I doing wrong what happened and so what you need to start doing is living with gratitude being happy
with what you achieved what you've accomplished and not expecting so much more it's easy for me to say I'm 49 79 but when I was younger I didn't realize these things I hadn't read the books I didn't have the understanding the appreciation I just thought more is more I need more I'll be happy once I do this once I do that happiness doesn't come from achieving the goal it's in the pursuit of that goal just thinking that once you get the degree once you get the job once you get the girl then you'll be happy
it's not true if you're thinking oh if I go on steroids and I get my dream physique I get my Pro card I lose this amount of pounds of weight then I'll be happy it's not it you need to be happy today I'm not saying tomorrow I mean literally today right now you should be watching this video and you should be experiencing joy happiness gratitude think of how much worse it could be are you healthy and even if you're not how much more unhealthy could you be and remember if you're feeling stressed stress goes down
by actively doing something to reduce that stress you're thinking oh my God what a big day I've got so many projects I have to do this I have to do that I have two kids I'm so stressed out just start doing it actively just go after it the stress comes from in the procrastination but in the effort of going towards achieving that goal doing the things you need to do your stress is going to go down down immediately this is scientifically proven if there's challenges that you don't feel competent enough in that you can't accomplish
that's going to be stressful and so just like Mike Isel trying to achieve an ifbb Pro card with subpar genetics it ain't it it's fun to dream it but once you set it down as a goal anything less than that you're disappointed if Mike said you know my goal is to make top five at the competition he might be able to do it if he hired coach GR got him on my cookbook changed his diet perhaps he could make top five and if he got fifth he would be happy wow I I did it but
if your goal is to win a pro card and you get second I can't believe it I I missed out I know it's politics I lost because of my tan thank you Greg Anthony he's only 22 but he's wise Beyond his years and so I highly suggest you go and watch his video because you can learn something from him don't make make the same mistakes as he did he went on steroids far too young he was only a teenager you're not ready honestly you're addicted to the highest steroids there's not a direct High when you
inject your peeds or whatever it is but those Compliments are a part of the high and so think of it you're doing the things to get the compliments because the dopamine level is so high it's very wise words I easily got addicted to bodybuilding but thank God I got addicted to it while being natural cuz I got all of those compliments I took pride in knowing I did it natural when I would lose to other competitors who I know took steroids it didn't bother me I knew that I was natural whether you believed it or
not it didn't matter I knew and what do you think matters most what the world thinks about you or what you think of you is it fun to have other people say great things about you we love you coach Greg got your cookbook all of this is amazing but what good would any of that be if I didn't love myself in this cycle of just wanting to go back on Peds you feel like Superman your muscles are beautiful oh my gosh and it's a trap as of now I'm escaping that trap and so trust me
it's hard I went from abusing performance aning drugs taking grams and grams a week I was taking the highest doses that I could stand in order to have the most muscle possible when I first started I didn't think I would do high doses I'll just take a little bit I'll get my Pro cart but then I realized that you know what I need even more muscle and how am I going to do that it's not unlimited gains unless you have amazing genetics to put on size you're not just going to put on 50 PBS of
muscle from using performance enhancing drugs some do not me and so I took the highest doses that I could physically handle and I put on as much muscle as possible but eventually I had to stop now luckily for me there was a class known as classic physique it had a weight cap the weight cap was 185 5 when I was in bodybuilding the weight cap was 212 and so clearly I had to dramatically lower the doses because if I went on higher doses I would have too much muscle and I wouldn't be able to compete
and so that may have saved me I got used to being on Lower doses which obviously were a lot healthier now clearly not as healthy as being on HRT or natural but healthier than they were before no longer had to use Trend and so on and eventually what really caused me to stop bodybuilding was I started riding my bike I thought I'm in my 40s mid-40s I need to start doing more cardio I had offset doing a lot of cardio which I used to be a triathlete and why because I thought if I did cardio
I'd lose all my muscle and so I reduced the cardio to the bare minimum in order to save more energy for lifting weights and eventually because of my bike riding I got in multiple bike accidents the first one breaking my right elbow tearing off my tricep of which it healed the next time breaking my other elbow tearing the tricep yet again but this time it didn't quite heal back to normal and so I decided enough is enough if I compete in a professional bodybuilding competition I won't have the same physique I once had I'm beyond
my Prime and it's not healthy and so what do I do now I race bikes not outside hey I'm getting sick of breaking elbows but I race on zift on an app inside in the basement and I love it same way that I love bodybuilding just as much fun and so what I'm telling you is no matter how much you love something you can pivot perhaps you like basketball football now you're older you can't do those sports for whatever reason could you play pickle ball could you become a bike rider there's always something out there
that you could enjoy as much as you love what you're doing right now you're thinking there's no way I could do anything besides this for example you're Sam suck you're about to do your first bodybuilding competition Sam suck is 100% invested but I do believe he has slight body dysmorphia I believe he's crash dieting I believe his blood work would not come back healthy and it's going to dramatically shorten his life and right now he probably does not see anything he else he could do I'm telling you I'm telling Sam that later in life he's
going to regret it not now not while he's famous millions of followers chasing an IBB Pro card but eventually when he gets older like coach Greg he'll reflect back on this and think I should have listened to coach Greg
