drugs are only available by prescription on its website sugar Defender claims to be a dietary supplement that can safely and effectively help with maintaining healthy blood sugar levels and weight loss but the NIH and FDA say there's no evidence that dietary supplements like sugar Defender can do that either in December 2023 the FDA warned the public about illegally marketed or fraudulent diabetes treatments including non-prescription products or dietary supplements there are many other red flags that Sugar Defender might be a scam including a Better Business Bureau scam tracker report that said the product failed to lower
