The Lore of Punishing: Gray Raven Chapter 1- Graffiti Art

hello and welcome to the beginning of my punishing Gray Raven lore series I mean I say series but this is really my first video so please keep that in mind if you decide to destroy me in the comments I love pgr and I enjoy the story and I noticed a lack of a comprehensive lore guide at least on YouTube so I figured I might as well do it myself now these videos are for the community and as such you are all more than welcome to put suggestions on how you would like these videos to be

formatted in the future yeah that's about it so please enjoy all right so we open up with Lucia on the ground beaten this is not a good look you're supposed to be an emcee and they got you out here like this do better anyway Lucia asked cheekycon if she can disable her pain receptors to allow herself to keep fighting we give her the go-ahead and she begins rebooting in that time cheekycon is out here taken out corrupted on his own with the power of the Glock but still they are surrounded there's just too many finally

Lucia finishes rebooting and gets back into the fight soon after we get a call from our other teammates telling us to find cover as they carpet bomb the area but this gives us a path to escape and make our way towards them we meet up with the other members of Gray Raven live and lead and go over our current conditions even if she can't feel it Lucia is heavily damaged Liv can no longer fight as the overhead bombardment overheated her guns and Lee burned himself helping out with the attack we decide to continue the mission

of taking City 15 and turning it into a base for Humanity but we also need to resupply so we decide to head to the church as a shortcut we enter the church and apparently we can't catch a break because we are immediately jumped which is crazy because it was only one enemy live does a scan and confirms it's corrupted but this one is different she can talk and has her Consciousness intact as well as Lucia literally not being able to see her face unlike everyone else in the group The white-haired construct that we are just

going to call Alpha for simplicity's sake attacks Gray Raven but mostly Lucia she takes like 99 of the aggro and after a quick fight where Gray Raven gets absolutely destroyed Lucia is severely beaten and gets pinned to the wall with her own sword the disrespect is real and then like a slight tangent here but Lucia's sword in this picture is red but like every other picture before it's gray it's really not important but this is something I noticed before Alpha is able to kill Lucia she can kind of fire some shots off to try and

save her and they do nothing but get her attention now ticked off Alpha speeds over and stabs our arm so now we're hurt and then Alpha does her anime speech you know typical thing there's a hidden truth that you don't know just wait until you find out how bad it is it'll change your whole life which I find crazy because if it's really that important I don't know why you don't just tell us now either way Alpha gets bored and just decides to spare us and leave which you know can't be too mad about after

we get Lucia off of the wall so Liv can begin giving her medical treatment Lucia laments about how she was outmatched in nearly every way by Alpha during this rant Lee comments that Alpha's combat style was very similar to Lucius he then brings up her malfunctioning visual module like that was the reason she lost and Lee explains that a construct's mind doesn't work like a computer circuit in that it's unhackable by any normal means unless the enemies are just that much more advanced than them so he assumes the issue with Lucia must be something else

entirely this makes Lucia even more anxious to report the situation to HQ and when she tries to get up and leave we figure out who really runs the group when Liv tells her to sit her ass down lest she wants to face the consequences of pissing off the Healer Lucia of course makes the correct decision and lets Liv do her job we leave the church and make it to the signal area only to find the remnants of a concluded battle there we also learn the signal we had been following was a trap set by the

corrupted to lower any potential constructs to the area a track that we very easily fell for we have lived to a scan of the surrounding area where she manages to find a signal for a friendly construct so we rush over to render Aid before any you corrupted in the area can notice after we get the construct to safety he explains how his team ended up in the situation saying they were forced to retreat back to the bridge by the corrupted and set up the temporary communication station to request backup they were attacked by corrupted using

combat strategies that would suggest they are forming an organized group we are of course shocked to hear this since corrupted are only supposed to function as mindless drones whose only purpose is to eliminate any human or anything with human consciousness like the constructs he tells us the graffiti in the area act as some sort of Gathering Place for large numbers of corrupted that they use for staging attacks on Babylonia forces before we leave he takes off his arm and gives it to Lucia so she can replace the one that she damaged in her previous fights

he also gives us the location of a supply drop with parts we can use to fix Liv's Levy guns and since we are no match for the cinnamon roll begging us we decide to make the trip we arrive at the coordinates the construct gave us and there we find more construct bodies these ones blown to Pieces covered in vital fluid paint in a cool it mixture unbeknownst to the group the culprit is near here and watching them we have Live Scan the area and connect to the Fallen constructs so that we can look through their

memories and see what happened there we see the construct squad leader had originally found the paintings and assumed that they might be providing the corrupt with some sort of independent will his Squad members attempt to clear a path and end up destroying one of the paintings drawing the corrupted hostility towards them ultimately ending in their destruction the corrupted who is watching us from the Shadows finally comes out in a tax league with a paint bomb before dispersing a radio jamming mist and fleeing however we see that it is leaking paint so decide to track it

by the paint Trail it leaves at this point Celica contacts us to check in after Babylonia was being attacked and his comms were being jammed by the corrupted Space Station now dear viewer you might be thinking a corrupted space station that sounds very important and you'd be right but not right now so don't think about it too much but now that comms are re-established Celica is able to give us nozzle's current location to better help our tracking we move forward and come across a small shopping plaza where Liv and Lucia decide to take a break

and rest before our confrontation with nozzle inside the store we get this super cute moment where Lucia and Liv are obsessing over plushies Liv and Lucia exit the shop with Lucia apologizing that we had to see her childish side we push our way through a punishing virus dense area and at the end we find nozzle at the far end of a large group of corrupted knowing there's no other way to reach him we brace ourselves for a frontal assault we fight our way through and eventually manage to Corner him when Lee begins to ask questions

about a term he kept going around during the fight ascending nozzle dismisses Lee and his question and prepares for a fight having beaten back nozzle he mentions that he was enlightened by something known as sage makina in that the Earth will soon be ruled by machines that have independent Wills of their own and are not controlled by the punishing virus nozzles seeing Noah the way to defeat us allows the punishing virus to take control so he can go berserk however this wasn't enough and in the end nozzle was defeated we are about to extract nozzle's

memory when Celica contacts us again saying that President Hassan has sent a transport and wants us back on Babylonia immediately we appear back on Babylonia with Lucia in the medical Bay being taken care of by asmeoff who promptly kicks us out and we end up running into the second in command of Babylonia Nicola the scene skips again and we are on the bridge face to face with Celica and president Hassan who has brought us to discuss the details found in nozzle's memory we go through nozzle's memory to try and find any relevant information learning that

nozzle was originally a painter robot named Anthony who helped an unnamed old painter at the end of the Golden Age near the end of the old man's life he rewired nozzle so that he could go out and paint on his own terms independent from a human nozzle was eventually captured and sold by an auctioner during the beginning of the outbreak we use as a tourist attraction however the punishing virus ended up infecting nozzle who had lost all of his conscious thought at the time until he was awakened by the sage makina's notes now I know

what you're thinking viewer this is the second time we've heard the name Sage makina they sound pretty important who are they and I'm here to answer your question I have no idea so we're going to put that name in a box and slide it under the bed until it becomes relevant now back on topic nozzle gained Consciousness due to the notes he found that belonged to Sage makina and nozzle decided to take those and encode them into his artwork to wake up other machines who began fighting against Babylonia forces presumably all of this takes place

before we get there skipping all the way until he's being tracked by Gray Raven we learned that in the short time we lost sight of him he ran into another powerful corrupted called The Iron Maiden this new corrupted tries to recruit nozzle into something called the Ascension Network which nozzle promptly refuses saying all he needs is Sage makina he flees from Iron Maiden and the delay that confrontation took allowed Gray Raven to catch up with and eventually defeat him [Music] foreign
