And, like everything on the internet, new versions emerged, such as the "Quiet Girl" and the Stressed Guy. And the song that accompanies the meme, "Hinoki Wood", by Gia Margaret, became the official soundtrack of "Chill Guy", further highlighting the character's calm vibe.
However, with the success, there also came some problems for Philips Banks, creator of the meme, who had to take legal action, as many people started using the character to profit without authorization. Banks made it clear that he didn't mind the meme being used as long as credit was given, but warned against selling merchandise or creating cryptocurrencies like the "Chill Guy Token. " This return once again shows him as a symbol of tranquility and mental peace.
And, in a way, "Chill Guy" also ended up becoming an example of stoicism, that state of serenity in which a person does not let themselves be affected by life's difficulties, because they know that they cannot control what is beyond their reach.
