to pray a powerful prayer with you in the mighty name of Jesus so stay with me and open your heart to receive the blessings of this prayer Psalm 91:1 reminds us he who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty this is not just a poetic Assurance but a call to live in the safety of God's presence where no harm can reach and no fear can remain now let us focus on God's promise of divine protection my friends the promises of God are like the solid foundation
beneath our feet unshaken by the shifting circumstances of life in Psalm 91 we are reminded of the vastness of God's care for those who trust in him his promises are not merely comforting words but an invitation into a covenant of protection that spans every season and situation consider Psalm 91: 2-3 where it says I will say of the Lord he is my refuge and my Fortress my God in him I will trust surely he shall deliver You From The Snare of the Fowler and from the perilous pestilence this declaration paints a picture of God as
both a shield and and a stronghold guarding us against both seen and unseen dangers it speaks of deliverance from the traps set by the enemy and protection against the threats that arise without warning to be covered by God means to dwell in this Refuge where his promises become the walls that surround you this covering is not just a promise it is a reality for those who choose to place their trust in him faith is the key that unlocks the door to his Refuge allowing us to experience the fullness of his protection however my friends it
is important to understand that Psalm 91 is not a magic wand for protection that works automatically for anyone this covering is a covenant not a blanket promise for those who remain distant from God God it is a reality reserved for those who choose to abide in his presence to trust him fully and to align their hearts with his will now throughout scripture we see examples of God's protective covering over his people in 2 Kings 6: 15 to 17 Elisha's servant feared when he saw the enemy Army surrounding them but Elisha prayed and God opened his
eyes to see the Heavenly Army protecting them this story reminds us that God's covering is not always visible to the natural eye but is no less real his protection surrounds us even when we cannot see it shielding us from dangers we may not even be aware of when we abide under God's Shadow we are not exempt from challenges but we are assured of his presence through them Psalm 34: 19 assures us many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all this verse reinforces the truth that God's covering does
not mean the absence of trouble but the certainty of Deliverance God's protection also extends to every aspect of Our Lives touching areas we may not even consider it includes physical safety spiritual strength emotional healing mental Clarity and everything else that concerns us he guards our hearts from despair our minds from confusion and our souls from the attacks of the enemy the promise of divine protection is like a shield of faith as described in Ephesians 6 verse 16 above all taking the shield of Faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts
of the wicked one this Shield is a defense against every scheme of the enemy enabling us to stand firm in the face of Trials Faith activates the promises of God transforming them from words words on a page to the reality of Our Lives when we feel vulnerable or uncertain it is vital to remember that we are never uncovered Isaiah 41: 10 declares fear not for I am with you be not dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you yes I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand this verse

truth shall be your shield and Buckler you shall not be afraid of the terror by night nor of the arrow that flies by day nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness nor of the destruction that lays waste at Noonday these verses remind us that God's protection is comprehensive shielding us from threats seen and unseen physical and spiritual to walk in this covering we must place our full full trust in his promises knowing that his truth is our ultimate defense walking in God's covering begins with dwelling in the secret place of the most high as

of Our Lives acknowledging our dependence on him and positioning ourselves under his authority obedience is another key to walking in God's covering Psalm 91:9 says because you have made the Lord who is my refuge even the most high your Dwelling Place this verse highlights the choice we must make to place God at the center of our Lives obeying his word and submitting to his Direction obedience positions us within his covering allowing his promises to unfold in our lives faith is also crucial in Walking under God's protection Psalm 91:7 declares a thousand may fall at your

91:14 says because he has set his love upon me therefore I will deliver him I will set him on high because he has known know my name gratitude Fosters a deeper connection to God reminding us of his faithfulness and keeping our hearts aligned with his promises speaking his word over our lives is another way to remain under his covering Psalm 91 verse 13 declares you shall tread upon the lion and the Cobra the Young Lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot this bold declaration empowers us to walk in Victory proclaiming the authority and protection
God has given us to walk in God's covering is to rest in his promises and live in obedience faith and gratitude it is to trust him completely to abide in his presence and to surrender every fear and worry into his hands as you walk in his covering you will discover that his protection is not just a shield but a fortress where you can dwell in peace and confidence will you choose today to abide under the shadow of the almighty and walk fully in his covering and let us now turn our attention to the power of
