[Music] well the gospel is good news it's good news about what God has done for us in order to understand the good news you have to understand the bad news first the bad news is that we are all Rebels against a holy God God created each man and woman in His image to know him and to love him and to enjoy him and worship him and to find all their meaning and satisfaction in life in him alone but we have rebelled against God we've decided we wanted to find meaning and satisfaction and joy in in
other things we've wanted to worship ourselves so I want to decide what's right and wrong for me I don't want to let God decide that and declare that and so we're Rebels against God we're not his friends we're not his children anymore uh but we are Rebels against a holy and Power powerful King and so that's the bad news each of us deserves God's Wrath his punishment his judgment against us for the things that we've done but the good news is that God in his love sent his son Jesus to save us from the mess
that we made Jesus lived a perfect life of obedience so he never rebelled against God and on the cross he he didn't pay the price for his own sins because he didn't have any but he paid the price for our sins he absorbed God's Wrath he took all of it for us the the punishment the hell that we deserve for our sins and Jesus took that on the cross but he didn't stay Dead uh he rose from the grave in Victory in triumph over sin and death and now Jesus Lives he's in heaven and he
calls us to turn from our sins and put our trust in him and Jesus says that if we will put our trust in him we will be forgiven and we'll be restored and given a new relationship with God and eternal life with him [Music]
