would you start a YouTube channel if you knew that you could sell it a year later for 50,000 or even $100,000 well this guy recently sold theirs for $500,000 yep half a million and know you don't need to show your face or become the next Mr Beast to make it happen look I've been exploring this Hidden Side of YouTube which is buying and selling channels for the last couple of months when a new client of ours asked us to find a channel for him and I'll explain why in a moment and I realized that it's
a lot like flipping real estate State essentially but instead of housings you're flipping channels so today with 14% battery on my computer I am going to walk you through the entire process from choosing your Niche to making the videos to building and growing these channels fast and how to cash out when the time is right plus I have a secret tip that can triple your income so let's dive in and I want to start by talking about why building and selling YouTube channels could be really really interesting for anyone that's looking to build a side
hustle as we were looking to do the market research for this new client we found YouTube channels with under 10,000 subscribers selling for over $5,000 on sites like f swap like flipa and that makes a lot of sense because as more Brands and businesses look for ready built audiences the demand for this type of channels is only growing right now take that a step further if you have a Channel with let's say 50,000 or 100,000 subscribers then you're looking at a potential sale price that could hit 20,000 50,000 maybe $100,000 it's almost like having a
piece of digital property but instead of flipping the house you're flipping the channel as I said and remember the Channel that I showed you at the beginning well this channel is not massive by any means it is actually only I think now reaching 36,000 subscribers not Millions but it is absolutely crushing it in terms of views and revenue and I think they were saying that in the the last 28 days they had made $38,000 in ad Revenue alone and over the last year they made $236,000 that's all from people who were interested and captivated enough
to watch videos about the universe but let's break it down a little further why are people like my client paying for this type of channels well if you've ever tried to grow a channel from scratch without much knowledge then you probably know that it can feel like trying to I don't know fill a pool with a teaspoon okay it takes time for YouTube's algorithm to understand your audience and figure out where to place your videos and who to show them to and some people are willing to pay in order to save time the way I
like to call it is that they like to pay to skip the line I mean it's that easy and buying an established Channel allows them to skip said line basically the entire grind because it's already monetized it already has subscribers it has uh consistent views which means that the hard part is done by somebody else for them so in a way like I've used earlier it is like digital real estate you build a value get the channel performing well and when the time is right you can sell it for a nice profit and right now
more people are seeing YouTube as a serious business opportunity which means there is a growing Market of buyers out there so if you do this right you could have a Channel or more stick around till the end that is ready to sell before you know it but what if there was a proven way that you would be able to build a profitable Channel and sell it in less than a year without going through the grind yourself look I've built multiple channels to hundreds of thousands or millions of views in less than a year here's some
proof of that and I believe that there are five things that you need to get right in order to skip that grind yourself number one picking a niche number two your style number three your content value number four your production value and number five your packaging so let's take them one by one because I really want you to get this right so let's talk about how you choose the right Niche because that's probably one of the questions that I get asked the most well it is a lot like picking the right field to plant your
seeds you could do a lot of research and pick it Based on data or you could pick it based on gut feeling but at the end of the day a fertile Niche will help your channel grow faster while a saturated one can make your growth feel like a constant uphill battle let's say and while I'm a big believer in GFE and intuition I also like data a lot so my advice is that you start by looking for niches that have a steady ever green interest here's a few ideas for you personal finance health tips relationships
tech reviews all of these will always always always have demand or you could go for something more unique more passion-driven niches something like space exploration like vintage gaming like plant here I don't know and sure these might seem smaller obviously but they often attract a much more highly engaged community that is eager for fresh content and I think it's always a balance between audience demand and manageable competition so you are making sure that there's enough interest but not so much to get lost in the noise so bottom line is once you've got a few ideas
based on your intuition and gut feeling you want to validate them with data and here you know what I'm going to say you can always use the trusty and free Google Trends I always think this is a great way to start if you want to see how much interest there is in the chosen topic that you have selected so for the purpose of this video let's say that you picked a more narrower M and that would be I don't know natural remedies okay so let me share my screen and let's do the research ourselves and
if you've been on my channel before you already know what you want to do is go to trends. goole.com and then you come here to the explore Tab and you add your search term in my case it is uh natural remedies and I want to search uh worldwide not just in the United States and I want to search for the past 5 years let's say and as you can see there is very very stable interest over time which means that going for this type of Niche very uh basic data shows us that might be a
good idea because there are no uh massive fluctuations in the level of Interest this is probably always going to be a topic that some people will find interesting now once you've picked your Niche it is time to think about how to deliver that content do you need to show your face clearly not at all but sure you might be thinking but don't viewers crave a personal connection especially with all the AI generated content out there and you would be absolutely right many audiences definitely love following creators that they feel personally connected Ed to but when
it comes to building a channel that you can sell I would say faceless channels have a unique advantage to them because they're easier to transfer to new owners and they attract buyers because the audience isn't attached to any face they're there for the topic for the content itself so I believe what makes faceless YouTube channels so successful is very very simple viewers crave value over personality when people search for information or entertainment many times you would be surprised they come there more for the quality of the content than for seeing who's delivering it think about
it when you're going to watch a tutorial are you doing that for the person behind the camera or for the information that they're sharing you got it faceless channels Focus entirely on delivering engaging content without relying on a presenter and this approach makes these channels super easy to scale and super easy to sell let me prove it to you let's take a look at channels like Kat or Ina I think they also call themselves they have been able to gather over 23 million subscribers by creating captivating animations on really complex topics they don't show their
faces it's just about the storytelling or you could take a look at amazing stock which is a very Niche Channel about archaeology that has built a community of I think over 700 subscribers using voiceovers and footage that helps them bring ancient stor to life I mean even mainstream topics like 5 minute craft teams were able to build a following of 9 million subscribers with very simple faceless DIY videos I mean these examples show that with the right strategy faceless content can grow fast and can create channels that are perfect for flipping now let's move to
the content value because we just established that it is really really important once you pick your style which if you want to sell the channel I suggest you go faceb faceless to focus on the content value that's why people will come to a faceless Channel okay and the way that you determine the content value is by checking out the top channels in your Niche you want to take a look at what kind of videos are performing well in your Niche what questions are those videos answering for Their audience this type of research can give you
a sense of what viewers are looking for and help you spot gaps in the market that you could fill with your own content so let's take a look for our natural remedies video what do we want to make a video on so if we come here and type natural remedies you can already see for hair growth for cough for diarrhea for acne mosquitoes cold cough acid reflux allergies sinus infection let's go with sinus infection so this video has 475,000 views this one has 594 th000 views it talks about two natural remedies there's one with 36,000
views 50,000 200,000 100,000 I think we've got a pretty good choice here and our first video is going to be about natural remedies for sinus infection but you can do this work on your own right you can go through multiple types of keywords and figure out which ones seem to be um better liked by the audience what kind of videos should you focus on in the very beginning and now let's move to I believe one of the most important parts and that is production value that is related to your content creation that's where many people
get stuck thinking that they need expensive equipment or professional editing skills and I believe that the truth is that you can create compelling faceless content with minimal resources and thanks to tools like in videoid AI who I need to think and call our sponsor for today you are able to create high quality faceless videos simpler than ever before and literally in no time I'm going to show you and you can use stock footage you can use templates you can use voiceovers even your own voice and you can do that to craft videos without ever appearing
on camera and don't worry you get a license to use everything so there is absolutely no concern about rights over the assets that you are using through nid Ai and I mean this not only speeds up content production because you will see you can do that in five minutes but you also are able to maintain consistent posting schedules which makes your channel more attractive to buyers and to the algorithm so let's take a look at how you would be creating a video on the chosen topic so that you can go ahead and do that yourself
I'm going to show you everything you need to know step by step so what you want to do is go to invideo.io I'm going to log in if you don't have an account all you need to do is sign up add your email address and you're good to go now once once you come to the main interface you have got a couple different options you can go ahead and provide the topic the language the detailed instructions and in video is going to generate the video only based on that prompt or if you want to be
a little bit more prescriptive then you can go either into YouTube explainer or you can go here and explore all the different templates that you are provided so you can go to YouTube explainer and say that you want to create let's say um 5 minutes YouTube video about natural remedies for sinus infection if you have any research or any information that you would like to be integrated then you can add all of that here but for the purpose of this video I'm not going to provide any information you can say make the background music um
calming and peaceful uh language should be English and here you can give a little bit more information about the style I will say educational but with humor in a British accent and here you can say use a male or female or my voice I have done videos where I've used my own voice so I'll just go for a female voice you can choose here what kind of accent you want I already said that I want a British accent so let's see if it picks it up and then you can tell it if you want subtitles
or not and I will say yes add bold subtitles with popping effects I'll just click continue now I have my prompt already and I'll hit generate video okay it's been almost 3 minutes and we are 62% through with the video production let's see how long it takes for everything else to be done oh okay now it's going much much faster so now it's taking basically 1% per second 100% okay so it took probably about 3 minutes and 20 30 seconds to have the video ready let's see how it looks is your sinus infection making you
feel like you've been run over by a lorry not exactly the life of the party are they okay so I can see that it is using the British accent that I asked it to it does have humor and I think it's already doing a really really great job but I do want to make a few changes so if you do want to make changes you can go here and just write a prompt in my case I will say um start with a stronger Hook and the change is already made and just like that you can
use the prompt bar to ask any other changes maybe you forgot to ask for subtitles you can just say add captions and it'll do that um you can say only add visuals of women or children or men or elderly depending on what your topic is going to be about let's see what it decided to do with the intro I bet you didn't know that sign infection can make you feel like run over okay so I think this one's better but if you want to be even pickier and spend more time on each video you can
go and change the media you can change the script or you can change the music so for example um here it looks like um let's say we want to change this one just for the sake of it um and say we're looking for um person with a headache all you got to do is click on the one you choose and apply changes and that's it in a couple seconds all your changes are made you can also go ahead and edit the script so instead of what it's saying in the very beginning so we say are
your sinus infection or is your sinus infection is probably better is your sinus infection making you feel like you've been run over by a Lori okay this is great apply changes and there you have it these changes are taking just a couple seconds so you'll be done really really fast you can also change the music in the exact same way so you can just generate the video and it'll will literally take you 5 minutes by the way you can do it from your phone as well or if you want to be pickier or more particular
you can go and change as I said the music the script the video whatever you prefer in order to make it more relevant more your style okay so with 2% on my battery let's download the video and there you have it it is that easy and you can get started with nid AI for free if you choose to but if you're serious about building a channel that later on you do want to sell I suggest you give a try to the paid subscription it is only $20 a month and you get so much with it
you get access to their entire library of music of stock footage you get to use more voices and you will be able to create better videos which later on will make more sense when you calculate the value of your YouTube channel but look creating good content is just the beginning especially when you're getting started because in order to truly succeed you need to optimize your videos for YouTube's algorithm and that means crafting attention grabbing titles writing good descriptions and using very very good thumbnails think of it like leaving a trail of breadcrumbs for both viewers
and YouTube to follow leading them straight to your content okay so you want to put time into writing a title that is not keyword stuff but it is going to resonate very well with the people you want to click on on your video and make your thumbnail so different than everybody else's in that particular topic so that it is going to stand out and it is going to get people to stop scrolling an actual click on your video now let's talk monetization because I'm assuming that you have put in the hard work you have created
quality content and your channel is starting to gain traction now you're probably wondering who on Earth would want to buy a faceless YouTube channel and I explained to you a littleit bit earlier but think of it like flipping houses right except instead of property you're dealing with subscribers and watch hours and there are online marketplaces like Fame swap like flipa there's tons of them actually all you need to do is Google search and these platforms offer you a place where you can sell your channel Fame swap for example allows you to list channels based on
size category and revenue they even have an escrow account so you won't have to chase anyone down to get your payment on on the other hand flipa is a really good place to sell your channel because they have features like free valuations and filtering options to find buyers they're going to show you how much your channel could get and you might be actually surprised channels are listed for anything from a few hundred dollar to thousands of dollars to half a million as you've seen and we have seen channels less than a year old selling as
I showed you $5,000 even small Channels with just over 2,000 subscribers can get really nice prices and I think that if you are going to do this consistently you will be able to ask for this kind of prices as well and guess what you don't have to sell your channel to profit from it many creators use their faceless channels as consistent sources of passive income as well because you can make money through ad Revenue you can make money through sponsorships you can make money through affiliate marketing there are lots of ways actually that you can
monetize a YouTube Channel and you will be probably at a dilemma when you've been able to build a really sustainable Channel with really good growth whether you want to sell it or not but that is at least an option but if you've been able to build a channel that can Thrive with or without your constant involvement then that is the goal because this not only makes it more attractive for potential buyers but also is going to free up your time to start new channels or pursue other Ventures which brings me to the secret tip that
I mentioned at the beginning of the video right here it is do not stop at one channel diversify across different niches and create multiple streams of income don't put all your eggs in one basket once you've mastered the process of creating and growing one faceless YouTube channel you can replicate it across multiple niches and this not only increases your potential income streams but also makes you more resident to algorithm changes or shifts in viewer preferences which will believe me happen a lot and when one channel will see their value dipping other channels can still Thrive
so imagine having an entire portfolio of channels each catering to a different audience all making you money and then when the time comes to sell you could offer buyers a readymade audience in their specific Niche and also ask for premium prices for your established platforms but I think the most important advice that I can give you is to start do not let perfectionism hold you back your first video does not need to be a masterpiece and it won't believe me it'll just be your first but that does not need to stop you all that matters
is for that first video to exist okay because from there you can follow up with consistency with optimization and scaling and with tools like in video AI you will be able to create really really successful and thriving YouTube channels so what's stopping you let me know in the comments down below what Niche you are thinking about and what is your biggest challenge right now I will do my best to answer all of your comments and I will give you any tips that I can think of to help you guys succeed thank you so so much
