and honey but they became so comfortable in Egypt that they overlooked God's plan in a nutshell a new Pharaoh arose treating them as slaves and they realized they were never meant to stay there in the first place sometimes you get comfortable in a place and make it your home even though it was only a temporary stop on the journey to your blessings humans often prefer comfort and security and they resist the move to a place God says is far better than where they currently are lot faced a similar dilemma when Angels informed him of the
impending destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah yet he hesitated can you imagine that surely you can relate having been situations where God directs you to step into a new venture or embrace the unfamiliar leaving the known for the unknown your initial reaction might mirror Lots uncertainty you struggle to understand why God would disrupt your settled life if only you knew that God was shifting you to a better place and saving you from a looming danger God declared in Isaiah 43:19 see I am doing a new thing now it Springs up do you not perceive it I

to you do it this instruction may ring a bell it's from the Bible remember the wedding at Kana of Galilee where Jesus at the beginning of his ministry turned water into wine Mary his mother advised the servants whatever he says to you do it Beyond mere obedience the servants had to surrender their knowledge of the wine making process and follow Jesus Jesus's unconventional instructions it was an act of trust and letting go of their conventional understanding they risked their jobs by filling jars with water instead of wine but they did as Jesus instructed similarly you
