my new preferred way of um wearing my hair although i am still wearing it in a protective style it is better if my hair is blown out because it's you know it's long and my texture is for b4c mainly 4c and um it being in this natural state just reads havoc now i mean the longer it gets it tangles up more if it's in its natural state so my hair likes to be stretched out as much as it possibly can and then in a protective style so i have been rocking my hair in this protective
style which is two braids for the last two weeks and i am loving it let me tell you the only way i can get my hair into two braids is if it is in a stretched state if it isn't in my natural state i wouldn't be able to fit it into two braids comfortably so i'm going to show you guys how i do that and maybe it'll inspire some of you to wear to braids because let me tell you with two braids you can do any and every thing i have my headband wig that um
that i kind of defined yesterday from her given hair um i also have another wig for them from them it's a you part wig so i don't know i don't we might we might do that in the next video but as far as this video i'm going to show you guys how i prep my hair and wear my hair in my two braids and a lot of style options that you can have while doing that it's a great protective style you can leave them in for a week's time to make sure your hair is moisturized
and good to go and yeah without further ado so what my hair looks like without further ado let's get into the video alright so the first thing i'm going to do is split my hair into two um sides so i have this side and i have this side so this side i'm just gonna wrap up in like this situation right here okay all right and with this side hold on let me show you what i'm gonna use first so i'm gonna use some coconut oil i am going to use my henna oil that i made
it has a lot of stuff in here and i'm going to use my old trusty castor oil you guys asked me if i still use castor oil and whatnot i still use castor oil um i just started using coconut oil now that my hair is more in like a stretch state and i guess my hair likes coconut oil in this stretch state who knew um yeah all right so i'm going to section off three parts so i'm going to section off this front and then i'm going to section off can't really see i'm going to
section off the middle and then the back oh where is it where are we wait is this okay hold on okay there we go so i have three sections the front the middle and the back now i have already oiled my scalp but i'm going to show you guys how i like to do it let's do a section by section so i just take my oil this is henna brownie neem it's a lot of stuff and then i'll just put it on each section and i'll take my fingers and just give myself a scalp massage
um with each section eye oil okay so that's just kind of getting you know getting the stimulation going on since my hair is going to be in these two braids for about a week and a half and then i take it down and i do it all again all right so now i'm going to take my coconut oil just put some in my palms and then start like mid way down or midway down to the bottom and then just kind of work my way up so midway to the bottom and then i like to work
my way up okay now we're i cannot see i cannot see here where what is going on where is my section okay hold on technical difficulties one eternity later so uh these two sections are already moisturized so i'm going to show you guys how i like to braid it and then on this side will do the whole moisturization routine but this side was pretty much already done and i decided to come on here and show you guys all right so it's going to flatten it out all right so these two sections are kind of like
the hardest because uh i don't know if you could tell but um my sections are pretty thick okay so i'm gonna take these two sections first and i'm going to cross the last section over the middle one and then i'm going to grab my first section and then i'm just going to start it's going to start breaking okay all right so i'm just gonna start braiding this is going to take me about four to five minutes to get down to the bottom so when i get down there i will um i will come back just
because this is kind of hard for me to to grip these are really thick sections down at the bottom do you want it hi okay so i have more coconut oil and i am going to rub that on the bottom of my hair because you know this is the oldest part we gotta we gotta keep our ends in good condition especially because i don't trim my hair so i really do try to you know keep my ends as moisturized hydrated oiled up as possible okay i just took some castor oil and globbed that on the
bottoms as well and then i'm just going to keep braiding down this is actually taking me a minute i like to make sure that i braid down as far as i possibly will i don't like to braid like really thin pieces of hair just because um i feel like it's harder to try to take that out so i like to leave at least like the last three four inches of my hair out sorry and then i'm going to take a perm rod and i'm going to put it at the end okay and then i have
one braid all right so now we're gonna do this side now this side hasn't been moisturized or oiled up whatever you want to call it say i'll call it moisturize because oil has done wonders for my hair so all right so same thing with that section i am going to section off a front and you can also do this if you want to wear like a really bomb braid out i'll post a picture here of what my hair looks like when i kind of had like a braid out situation going on so you have the
front see where everything falls and then i have the middle this is pretty good and then the back i kind of like to put the majority of hair in the middle and in the back just if i were gonna wear it in a twist out or in a braid out it would fall correctly it would you know it would look good when it fell so all right so first section taking my henna oil and i am putting it in my scalp massaging that through okay middle section like i've never worn well i did a wash
and go one time if you guys haven't seen that i'll post it here all right so now i'm going to take my sections at the middle got the back i'm going to start with those two sections first all right cross over the very back section gonna cross that over the middle and then take the front and cross that over the back section and i'm gonna start braiding down you can see how big um these sections are to my hand these are the sections my sections are bigger wider than a water bottle for reference so um
all right so i'm just gonna go ahead and break down and then i'll come back when i'm all the way to the bottom okay so we are done and i feel like i am channeling my native american ancestors and i'm here for it i love it now i don't wear my hair in these two braids i normally just flip them back and then i just kind of like roll my hair up in the back and i'll use a really big satin scrunchie and just tie it in a bun so that's mainly what i'll probably do
i have this headband wig that i want to wear especially because my hair is so flat and i've never worn this when my hair is flat i've only worn this when i've had twists in my hair i've actually never really worn this out maybe like once or like four times i've worn it but it was kind of bulky because of my hair but now that my hair is laying flat it is something that i want to um kind of dabble in a little bit so i think i will do that i have another wig by
her giving hair that i'll be reviewing after this video especially since my hair is just like fresh and like flat so i'm really excited about that but this hairstyle is so easy it's a protective style it's a low manipulation style it'll help you retain a lot of length this way you can do so much if you want to wear headband wigs or wigs over you can do that it allows you to take it down at night re-moisturize your hair and braid it back up now with my hair because it's in these braids and it's compacted
together my hair was remain compacted so every time i take it out and re-braid it back it'll be easier and easier because my hair will just keep compacting compact and compacting um yeah this i can't even like express enough how much i love this style like you can just do so much you know if you want to wear like one of those little braids like this that's cute wait that is kind of cute no no maybe or you could do it the other way too like you could you could do the whole like cross over
situation too i personally have my hair in the buns i was telling you about and i've also been wearing a lot of head wraps lately um that's kind of just like my go-to right now yeah it's you know the the weather it's really windy one day it's really hot one day it's hot and then it rains and then it's sunny and like i just i don't i don't know what to do anymore so this being my style throughout this crazy weather has been just a blessing it's great um but yeah so this is a style
and you could definitely just rock your hair like this if you wanted to and put like some beads or something at the end if you wanted um whatever you want to do be creative with it you guys know that i don't really i'm not super creative with my hairstyles just because i don't change my hairstyles a lot and i just like to keep it as simple as possible so this is perfect for me wearing in a bun wearing my head wraps and i'm going to play around with this headband wig to see how it would
