the power of the Gospel across the South Pacific region the Papa New Guinea for Christ campaign recorded an impressive number of baptisms surpassing 200,000 resulting in explosive Church growth in the [Music] region in April a powerful movement swept across Papa New Guinea the energy and enthusiasm were palpable as communities United in faith and hope it began with a mega health health clinic at Mount Hagen where thousands lined up for medical care provided by a team of international and local volunteers a joint effort of the 10,000 toes campaign and Adventist World radio the clinic transformed the
lives of thousands including those who had their sight restored through cataract surgeries after addressing physical needs the focus shifted to spiritual health the PNG for Christ program launched with colorful welcoming events including marching bands choirs and flag raising ceremonies this was a program with a difference not just held in one location but at more than 2,000 sites Nationwide even in prisons speakers came from across the South Pacific and Beyond joining hundreds of local preachers to share the gospel with enthusiastic crowds among the speakers was General Conference president Elder Ted Wilson who also met and prayed
with the Prime Minister and other government officials during his [Music] visit PNG for Christ touched the lives of many individuals from all walks of life people embraced the messages of Hope and transformation young and old alike embarking on a journey of faith and the impact has been extraordinary thousands of people were baptized during the program and thousands more have committed their their lives to Jesus and it is a privilege to see you know people coming from all different walks of life strengthening their faith and affirming their faith to be baptized and to be called Disciples
of [Music] Jesus the program also made a big impact on the international presenters and for our team our team coming here and will be partnering with this province this is wonderful because we see something bigger we see something different and there is so much that we can learn from the people here and I believe when we when we give to others when we support others we'll be blessed locally as well in my life as a as a young Minister I've just had uh less than 2 years experience in the field and this Evangelistic campaign has
has been teaching me a lot of lessons and uh when I will go back to my country uh to my school where where I'm serving I'll take up the challenge of uh evangelizing more uh especially to to the students that I serve there are three things that really were memorable for me uh during my trip to puy New Guinea firstly how kind hospitable and welcoming the people were secondly how much effort they put into or organizing the program so it was originally meant to happen in 2020 and when it didn't happen uh the people continued
Bible studies and they did small groups and they put so much effort into making sure that people would be prepared for PNG for Christ 2024 and then thirdly I was amazed by the commitment of the people there you know during extreme rain and extreme heat they would still be out there listening to the messages so I was really inspired by my time there and I'm very grateful for the opportunity to have been there what inspiration this brings us now the church focuses on integrating new members and tackling the challenges of rapid growth so that this
movement of Hope and transformation can expand even further the fourth and final session of the 70 Adventist Church's Bible convention in the southern Asia Pacific territory took place at the Baki Sky Hotel in Bangkok Thailand the convention was the last in a series aimed at enhancing spiritual growth reinforcing foundational beliefs and renewing ministers commitment in the region the chosen for Mission back to the Altar and Bible Conference addressed spiritual and doctrinal concerns within the global Adventist Church a 15-year study revealed troubling Trends among lay members pastors and institutional workers prompting the development of this conference
to equip ministers to tackle these challenges Pastor Roger kadma president of the Seventh Day Adventist in the southern Asia Pacific region emphasized The Minister's Divine calling and the responsibility to guide the congregations the convention aimed to reach over 2,500 ministers across the field providing ample time for deep theological study organizers are also considering similar events for teachers and school administrators recognizing their vital role in teaching Adventist doctrines and theology to students events like these help us keep our Firm Foundation rooted in the word of God ensuring that its principles teachings and values remain unchanged even
in an everchanging world the Adventist motorcycle Ministry in Brazil with over 3,000 members shares the word of God with motorcyclists through book distributions Wellness fairs Community Gatherings and meaningful connections their Church on Wheels has inspired over 700 people to get to know the Bible better and love Jesus it is not just a means of transportation they are not just random vests and badges it is not just a group of people it is a Ministry who are they the Adventist motorcyclists never heard of it do you think it's new what if I tell you they've been
on the road for a while Adventist motorcyclists have been gathering in motorcycle clubs for years Isel for example is one of the Pioneers in Brazil and is a member of the Jesus property club which has been around for 37 years our Moto Club was founded in 1979 registered in 1984 so wherever property of Jesus is needed we will be there to help work and make an impact some other Inspirations came from the United States with the creation of amm Adventist motorcycle Ministry many other motorcycle clubs were founded but do you know what the difference is
between them there is no difference the work that amm does and ma' does is the same work we are the same group we are the same Brothers we believe that there is only one heaven and we want to go together yes but many people still find it strange and the most frequently Asked question by these motorcyclists is what is the purpose of this Ministry Jesus when he said that we should go into all the world and preach to every tribe there are tribes we can say that is segments of society that it would normally be
difficult for us as a church to reach unless we speak the same language having a vest because this vest opens doors so if I am a motorcyclist obviously all other motorcyclists have respect just last year we baptized 35 people at Adventist motorcycle Ministry events in Brazil local local motorcycle clubs are special guests alongside various activities they also join in Bible studies and worship Services designed especially for them we have habits and behaviors similar to motorcyclists with one difference we carry a message of Salvation and hope our clothing our vests are the same as those of
our motorcycle Brothers but we bring a message it is a church on wheels this motorcycle Ministry has grown significantly in Brazil now boasting over 3,000 members together they form a close-knit community United by shared interests and values their dedication to reaching out in such a personal way helps those who are still learning about Christ to feel welcomed and understood in the mission 150 segment hosts David trim and Sam nevas are joined by the Adventist Church's president Ted NC Wilson in episode 45 Elder Wilson shares his vision for the future of Adventist Mission inspired by 150
years of History so mission is absolutely vital today it is it is why the Seventh Day Adventist Church exists yes yes we need to take care of people we need to nurture people we need to you know make sure that we uh assist in many different challenges but everyone is then called to be part of the mission you are not called to be part of an organization that just carries you along and lets you kind of exist and enjoy life no when you're called to be a Seventh Day Adventist Christian you're called to be a
missionary wherever you are celebrating 150 years is a special thing but it's also a reminder that our mission is before us uh we have approximately 22 almost maybe 23 million 7 Day Adventists on the books everywhere you know in the world and we have more than 8 billion people to reach how are we ever going to do that well the falling of the latter reign of the holy spirit is going to be instrumental in helping the work go like wildfire and I pray every morning for the falling of the latter rain and I hope our
viewers do the same and not only that but prepare our hearts for the reception of the Holy Spirit on a daily basis I ask for the Holy Spirit to come in for the Lord to send his Spirit into my life and into each of Our Lives I also one other thing I always ask the Lord for every morning it's a fulfillment of James 1 15 I ask for wisdom I don't have wisdom I don't have enough wisdom I need wisdom and missionaries and those as part of God's Church need this this wisdom so the Three
Angels messages are key to the sth day Adventist Church's last day Proclamation and its Mission its urgency as well as the fourth angel of Revelation 18 veres 1 to four right to come out of Babylon to to join God's Remnant people not just as some exclusive group that says well we have the all the truth now and that's nice and stay away from us all the people who don't understand no our responsibility is then to get into action and to tell people about it so Mission and celebrating the 150th anniversary is really an impetus it
is a powerful push for Seventh Day Adventist worldwide to reignite the urgency and Mission before us for the full episode and other videos delving deeper into the 7day Advent faith and its story visit Advent review TV on YouTube now we will explore how music therapy is used in hospitals to support and assist patients this lesson was presented at a health career faar for Pathfinders at the international camper in the United States showcasing surprising ways that people might not typically associate with health hello Charo Char it's time to [Music] see tonight I'm with Andrew and Andrew
like a lot of you loves music that's right I been playing piano for over 10 years 10 years that is a long time well tonight we'll be meeting someone who uses their musical talents to help people in the hospital feel whole oh wait a minute musicians work in hospitals yes music is everywhere so let's dive into a world where Melodies me minds and harmonies heal Hearts so Madison and Sabrina can you guys tell me just what gave you or started your love for music therapy so I was in high school and I always loved music
and I loved performing I was a theater kid I did choir and then I also really loved medicine and so I heard about music therapy from a family member who worked at a hospital who had a music therapist and so when I heard about that as a career option I started looking it up online reading more about it and then from then on I was like okay that's what I want to do what's a day in the life like for a music therapist basically we have a list of of patients those patients came from referrals
from our Medical Teams who think these patients would benefit from music therapy that it would help them while they're here in the hospital so that could be helping with pain helping with anxiety nerves it can be helping with coping and we can do so many things so I have a card of instruments with percussion instruments with drums I've also got my guitar with me and we can be playing instruments together or we can be writing a song together I can be teaching an instrument they could also just be listening to the song to help them
relax so our younger babies we might be working on things like sensory integration will we be singing we might be touching we might have guitar with us and then we also have older babies that we see who um maybe have complex medical needs so we'll be working on developmental Milestones um using toys and instruments and things like that who knows Charlotte maybe one day it'll inspire a whole bunch of people to become music therapist high five it really varies every day is different every session is different and it's very exciting so what words of advice
would you give to someone like me who might be interested in going into music therapy so I think first of all having a passion for music is really important obviously and then also having a passion for wanting to help people because that's really at the core of what we do we use music to help people The more I've been here The more I've come to Value the organization itself and how much Advent Health values whole person care and how that really impacts patients and their families and kind of how music therapy fits into that has
been something that's been really meaningful to me wow that was a blast today I've really learned how music therapy can help people that's amazing Andrew music therapy was one of many career opportunities highlighted at the international camper from sports medicine to flight nursing a range of exciting health careers was presented to thousands of Pathfinders the central Jamaica Conference of STI adven celebrated the installation of a new solar panel system at its headquarters in spanishtown the solar system has a capacity of 60 KW and includes 152 solar panels along with three inverters it is expected to
reduce electricity costs by up to 80% promoting significant savings and greater Energy Efficiency this is the fifth solar installation among Adventist organizations in Jamaica reinforcing their commitment to conserving the natural resources God has given us and reducing Reliance on traditional energy sources Pastor nval Barrett president of the central Jamaica conference highlighted the positive impact of renewable energy and its importance to the conference's mission and values this installation demonstrates how faith and Innovation can work together to create a better future for all may this effort Inspire other organizations to take better care of our planet as
we await the return of Jesus when he will make all things new the Adventist Heritage Center in Australia received a Priceless collection of Bibles ranging from 14th century Europe to the present this collection will be preserved and studied by the center to learn more about its important history and for Evangelistic purposes it is really exciting for the South Pacific Division to receive this amazing collect ction of the Bibles the story of this collection goes back about 50 years uh to Poland there was this young polish Pastor by the name Henrik patriarcha who developed a passion
for collecting Bibles so he started collecting the Bibles all over Poland and then he started hunting for bies all over Europe and some of the Bibles that he found are amazing they go back to 15th and 14th century so this is um a really precious collection for us as he was collecting those Bibles he this collection grew and became big and began he began to use those Bibles uh for Evangelistic purposes he would go to different churches to different locations and showcase those Bibles and people would get to know the history of the Bible and
get to know Jesus of the Bible that was his passion he grew old and eventually the he looked for a place where he could send those Bibles to and uh we are the recipients of this amazing collection of the Bibles and we hope to use them for Evangelistic purposes as well having the Bible collection donated to the Adventist Heritage Center is a real blessing it is our hope in the future that we will have a permanent home for these Bibles that people from our church and the general public can come and see this extraordinary collection
it can be a testament to how God's word has lasted through the centuries undoubtedly this extraordinary gift preserved over the years is a powerful reminder of Isaiah 40:8 the word of our God stands forever amid stunning Landscapes and significant challenges the Dominica primary Adventist School on the Charming Caribbean island stands out for its dedication to providing excellent education with the construction of the new building the school is preparing to welcome even more children and transform lives the island of Dominica is commonly mistaken for the Dominican Republic but it's actually its own beautiful island nation in
the middle of the Caribbean islands separating the Atlantic Ocean in Caribbean Sea it's full of waterfalls tropical beaches and hot springs the island is also full of children who need a good education the Ebenezer SDA primary school has become one of the most ed schools on the island they would like every child to receive education but many challenges are now facing them this school is special because I can see God's miraculous hands in the school a school that is so crowded it is located between two main highways I would say so it's noise destruction and
the school within all of these situation challenges is doing so well it's among the top 10 on island and I'm always amazed to see how God works with this goal the school stands right next to a large river that leads to the ocean whenever hurricanes or strong rains come the river floods the school this is only one of the challenges they face we have also faced the challenges of having road repairs done by the government right next to us and the the Machines working constantly throughout the day while exam and classes are going on we
had to battle with all of that the Ebenezer primary schools become so popular they have to turn away students looking to enroll even the 200 students they have now overcrowd the school before you know it we have to shut the registration because of the number of persons that are coming in and uh begging for space asking if they could bring a desk they could bring a bench whatever the situation but at the current as it is we just do not have the space to take in any other child the school has started construction on a
new building that they hope will solve these issues the facility will accommodate 300 students as well as provide new resources we're looking at 10 classrooms in terms of space we're looking at having a um a computer lab science lab also the yard space in terms of for the students to be able to to play and enjoy themselves also will be larger than we presently have the Ebenezer SDA primary school already has a good reputation in the community they're now awaiting funds to complete the construction of their new school building part of your 13th Sabbath offering
will go to help finish the construction of the new Ebenezer SDA Primary School building and Inspire the next generation of students I assure you your contribution will not be lost you will look back it maybe who knows these same children whom we are educating will serve you and your Generations in the years to come and these children who you are contributing to will end up being who knows the next general conference president who knows the next education director please pray for the education work of the 7th Day Adventist Church around the world and the growth
