My name is Denise Carter, and I'm a 47-year-old elementary school teacher from Minneapolis. What I'm about to share with you is my near-death experience testimony of what happened when Jesus showed me 3 simple prayers that can paralyze the demons, devils, and Satan. I literally saw how these 3 simple prayers can paralyze them all.
But before we start, please let me know where you're listening from. It will be nice to feel closer, even if we're physically apart. Also, don’t forget to like and comment on what you thought about this Near Death Experience testimony.
Let's have a fair and open discussion so we can learn from each other on this channel. Enjoy listening. It happened on January 7th, 2021.
I was driving home from our school's Christmas concert, where my fourth-grade students had just performed. The roads were icy, and despite my careful driving, a truck lost control on the highway and crashed into my car. The last thing I remember was the blinding headlights coming toward me, then the deafening sound of metal crushing metal, and then everything went dark.
The doctors at North Memorial Hospital later told me that I was clinically dead for 4 minutes and 27 seconds. My heart had stopped completely, and they had nearly given up trying to revive me. But what felt like mere minutes in earthly time felt like an eternity in the spiritual realm.
What I experienced during those moments has completely transformed my understanding of the spiritual warfare that surrounds us every day. When my consciousness left my body, I first experienced what I can only describe as a profound weightlessness. It wasn't like floating in water - it was as if gravity itself had ceased to exist.
The physical pain from the crash instantly vanished, replaced by a sensation of complete freedom from my earthly body. I could see my broken body below, surrounded by paramedics working frantically to save my life. But strangely, I felt no attachment to it anymore.
But what happened next shook me to my core. As my spirit rose above the accident scene, I became aware of two distinct forces in the spiritual realm - forces that had been invisible to my earthly eyes but were now crystal clear. One was radiating pure light, warmth, and love; the other was dark, cold, and filled with malice.
It was then that I understood what the Bible means when it says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). The spiritual realm was more real than anything I'd ever experienced. I saw beings of darkness moving through our world, attaching themselves to people's fears, doubts, and anxieties.
They weren't just abstract concepts - they were real entities, working tirelessly to destroy hope and faith. I watched in horror as they whispered lies into people's minds, feeding their depression, amplifying their anxieties, and deepening their addictions. I saw how these dark forces operated in different ways.
Some were like heavy shadows, pressing down on people's minds with depression and hopelessness. Others were like whispering voices, constantly feeding thoughts of anxiety and fear. Still others were like chains, binding people to addictions and destructive habits.
What shocked me most was seeing how these forces worked together, coordinating their attacks on unsuspecting people. But then something extraordinary happened. In the midst of this spiritual battlefield, Jesus appeared to me.
His presence was unlike anything I could have imagined - pure love and authority radiating from His being. The darkness scattered at His approach, and in that moment, I understood why demons tremble at His name. His appearance wasn't what most people might expect - He didn't look like the paintings we see in churches.
His presence was both terrifying and comforting, powerful yet gentle, authoritative yet loving. "Denise," He said, "I have brought you here to show you the reality of the battle that rages around my children. But more importantly, I want to give you weapons that will help others break free from the enemy's chains.
" Jesus spoke to me, not with words as we know them, but directly to my spirit. What He revealed next were three specific prayers - but they weren't just words to be repeated mindlessly. Each prayer was a key that unlocked divine power, designed to target and disable specific strategies of the enemy.
Jesus showed me how these prayers, when spoken with faith and understanding, would paralyze demonic forces and break their hold over people's lives. First Jesus began by showing me the true power of His name. This first revelation wasn't just about saying "Jesus" as a word - it was about understanding and wielding the authority that His name carries.
He showed me how the spiritual realm reacts when His name is spoken in true faith. I witnessed demons literally paralyzed, unable to continue their attacks when confronted with the authority of His name. He revealed to me that when we pray declaring His authority, it creates a spiritual shockwave that demons cannot withstand.
Then Jesus gave me these specific prayer: "In the authority of Jesus Christ, who died and rose again, whose name is above every name, I declare your power broken. Every principality, every power, every ruler of darkness must bow before the name of Jesus. Your assignment against me and my loved ones is terminated by the blood of the Lamb.
Jesus Christ is Lord over this situation, this mind, this body, this family, this home. Your influence is paralyzed by His authority, and you must flee. " Jesus showed me that this prayer, when spoken with understanding of His authority, creates a barrier that dark forces cannot penetrate.
I watched as troubled souls found peace when this prayer was declared over them, as anxiety and fear dissolved in the face of His authority. Then in an instant He took me through various scenes, showing me how His name worked in different situations. I saw a person struggling with severe anxiety - dark spirits hovering around them, feeding their fears.
When the name of Jesus was spoken with true understanding and faith, these spirits couldn't stand their ground. They became like paralyzed beings, unable to continue their torment. Jesus showed me how many believers use His name casually, without understanding its power.
He revealed that when we truly understand that His name represents all of His authority, all of His victory over death and hell, and all of His present power, that name becomes like a spiritual thunderbolt that stops demonic forces in their tracks. He showed me a vision of my own life, times when anxiety and fear had gripped me. I saw how demons had taken advantage of my moments of weakness, but I also saw how different things could have been if I had understood the authority I had in Jesus' name.
It was like watching two different versions of my past - one where I struggled alone, and another where I stood firm in His authority. "My name," He communicated to my spirit, "is not a magic word. It's a declaration of authority.
When you speak it, you're invoking all that I am - the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the One who defeated death and hell. This is why demons tremble at my name. They remember their defeat at the cross.
They remember the empty tomb. They know that in My name, they have no choice but to flee. " He then showed me specific situations where His name holds special power.
I saw people battling severe depression - the kind that makes you feel like you're drowning in darkness. When they spoke His name with understanding of its authority, it was like watching light pierce through the darkest storm clouds. The demons feeding that depression couldn't maintain their grip.
I witnessed how His name breaks addiction's power. Jesus showed me scenes of people struggling with various addictions - drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling. When they truly understood the authority in His name and spoke it with faith, the demonic forces fueling these addictions became paralyzed.
It wasn't just about willpower anymore - it was about spiritual authority. But Jesus made it clear - this wasn't about volume or repetition. It wasn't about shouting "Jesus" over and over.
It was about understanding and believing in the supreme authority that His name carries. He showed me how even a whispered "Jesus," spoken with true faith and understanding, had more power than shouted prayers without faith. The second revelation was even more profound.
Jesus reminded me of Luke 10:19, but He didn't just quote it - He showed me what it meant in the spiritual realm. "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. " He showed me something deeper - how this authority wasn't just about protection but about actively binding and restricting demonic activity.
In this second revelation, Jesus gave me these prayer: "By the power given to us in Christ Jesus, I bind every spirit of darkness attempting to work in this situation. As Jesus has given me authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, I exercise that authority now. I bind every spirit of fear, every spirit of depression, every spirit of anxiety, every spirit of addiction (name the specific issue).
You are bound by the power of Christ, unable to operate, unable to influence, unable to deceive. I declare your assignments null and void through the blood of Jesus. " I watched in the spirit realm as this prayer, when spoken with faith, literally created spiritual restraints around dark forces, preventing them from carrying out their destructive missions.
I saw believers walking through life surrounded by invisible threats - what the Bible calls serpents and scorpions - but those who understood their authority in Christ walked unharmed. These weren't physical creatures, but spiritual forces that lost their power when confronted with believers who understood their God-given authority. Jesus showed me how many Christians live far below their spiritual privileges, unaware of the authority they possess.
I saw people struggling with depression, addiction, and fear, fighting these battles with human strength when they had access to divine power. It broke my heart to see so many believers living as spiritual paupers when they were actually children of the King. He revealed to me that this authority isn't earned - it's inherited.
Just as a prince or princess inherits their authority by virtue of their royal birth, believers inherit their spiritual authority through their new birth in Christ. The problem isn't that we don't have authority - it's that we don't understand or exercise the authority we already have. Jesus showed me scenes from people's lives where they faced spiritual attacks.
I saw how differently these situations played out when believers understood their authority versus when they didn't. Those who knew their authority in Christ stood firm, commanding the darkness to flee. Those who didn't understand their authority became victims of circumstances they could have commanded to change.
"My children," He said, "don't need to beg for victory. I've already won it. They don't need to plead with demons to leave.
They have the authority to command them to go. The same power that raised Me from the dead lives in them, but they must believe it and act on it. " He showed me how this authority works in practical situations.
I saw people facing panic attacks - but instead of being overwhelmed, they stood in their God-given authority and commanded the spirit of fear to leave. I watched as people confronted with temptation exercised their authority to break its power. These weren't super-spiritual people - they were ordinary believers who simply understood and exercised their authority in Christ.
The third revelation was the most profound. Jesus showed me the living power of God's Word. But this wasn't just about reading or memorizing scripture - it was about wielding it as a weapon in spiritual warfare.
I saw how every word that proceeds from God's mouth creates ripples in the spiritual realm, how darkness cannot stand against the light of His truth. He reminded me of how He used scripture to defeat Satan in the wilderness, and showed me how we can use God's Word as both a weapon and a shield. The prayer He revealed was: "It is written that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
It is written that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. It is written that I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. Every word of God is pure, and His truth is my shield.
I declare these truths over my life, my mind, my family, and my circumstances. Every lie of the enemy is exposed and destroyed by the truth of God's Word. His Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, and no darkness can overcome it.
" As Jesus showed me these prayers, He also revealed something crucial about their use. "These are not magic formulas," He explained. "They are declarations of truth that activate spiritual laws I have already established.
Their power lies not in the specific words but in the faith and authority with which they are spoken, and in the blood I shed on the cross. " He showed me how crucial repentance is before engaging in spiritual warfare. Unconfessed sin, He revealed, creates gaps in our spiritual armor that the enemy can exploit.
"Always begin with a clean heart," He instructed. Then, something extraordinary happened. Jesus showed me glimpses of how these prayers would be used in the future.
I saw people breaking free from long-term depression, families being restored, addictions being broken, and fear losing its grip on troubled minds. But He also showed me the opposition these prayers would face. "The enemy will try to discourage their use," Jesus warned.
"He will bring doubt, skepticism, and even mockery. But remember what you have seen here. Remember the reality of this battle and the power I have given my children to overcome.
" He showed me specific instances where scripture, spoken in faith, acted like a sword cutting through spiritual darkness. I saw people breaking free from depression, anxiety, and addiction when they learned to wield God's Word effectively. It wasn't about quantity - even a single verse, fully believed and declared in faith, was enough to send demons fleeing.
Jesus showed me how the Word of God works in the spiritual realm. When someone speaks scripture with understanding and faith, it's like releasing a burst of light into the darkness. The demons can't argue with God's Word - they have to submit to it.
I saw how different verses had specific effects in the spiritual realm, like different tools designed for different tasks. He revealed how many believers treat the Bible as merely a book of good advice or historical records, missing its power as a spiritual weapon. "My Word," He said, "is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.
It's not just letters on a page - it's spiritual power released through faith. " But Jesus also showed me something crucial that many believers miss - the importance of repentance. He revealed how unconfessed sin creates gaps in our spiritual armor, giving demons footholds in our lives.
I saw how many people try to engage in spiritual warfare while harboring hidden sin, and how this compromises their authority. I watched as people struggled with persistent spiritual attacks, not realizing that the root cause was unaddressed sin in their lives. Jesus showed me how genuine repentance - not just feeling sorry, but truly turning away from sin - closes these spiritual gaps and restores our full authority in Him.
He showed me how sin gives demons legal rights to operate in our lives. It's like leaving a door open in your spiritual house - no matter how much you command them to leave, they have a right to stay until that door is closed through repentance. This was a sobering revelation that made me understand why some prayers seem to go unanswered.
As I absorbed these revelations, Jesus gave me a personal mandate. He told me that I was being sent back to share these truths with others. He showed me how many of His children were suffering unnecessarily, fighting spiritual battles without understanding the weapons He had provided.
The weight of this responsibility settled deep in my spirit. Then, just as suddenly as it began, I felt myself being pulled back to my body. The return was jarring - the pain came rushing back, and the crystal-clear spiritual vision faded.
I later learned that the medical team had managed to restart my heart, bringing me back from clinical death. My primary physician told me it was nothing short of a miracle. Multiple organs had begun to shut down, and by all medical understanding, I shouldn't have survived.
The recovery process was long and difficult. I had multiple surgeries and months of physical therapy. But the physical healing was nothing compared to the spiritual transformation I had undergone.
Everything I had learned during those moments with Jesus began to reshape my understanding of spiritual warfare. Before I end my NDE testimony, let me share with you exactly how to use these three spiritual weapons that Jesus revealed to me. 1.
The Power of His Name in Practice When using the name of Jesus, it's crucial to understand that it's not about the word itself, but about the authority it carries. First, take time to meditate on who Jesus is - His victory over death, His supreme authority over all creation, His present power and position at the right hand of the Father. This understanding builds your faith in His name's authority.
When facing spiritual attack, speak His name with this understanding. For example, when anxiety attacks, don't just say "Jesus" repeatedly like a mantra. Instead, declare something like: "In the name of Jesus Christ, who has all authority in heaven and earth, I command this spirit of fear to leave.
" Or say the exact prayer Jesus taught me before. "In the authority of Jesus Christ, who died and rose again, whose name is above every name, I declare your power broken.
" I've seen this work countless times. 2. Walking in Divine Authority Understanding and exercising your spiritual authority is like learning to drive a car - it takes practice and confidence.
Start by embracing your position in Christ. You are seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). This isn't just poetic language, it's your spiritual reality.
When you grasp this, you stop begging God to fight your battles and start exercising the authority He's already given you. Practice makes perfect. Start with small situations.
When negative thoughts come, don't just endure them - exercise your authority. Say something like: "As a child of God, clothed in Christ's authority, I command these thoughts to cease. I have the mind of Christ.
" Or say the exact prayer Jesus told me before. "By the power given to us in Christ Jesus, I bind every spirit of darkness attempting to work in this situation.
" 3. Wielding God's Word as a Weapon This weapon requires preparation. You can't use what you don't know.
Start by memorizing key scriptures that address your specific battles. If you struggle with fear, memorize 2 Timothy 1:7. If it's depression, memorize Psalm 34:17.
If it's an addiction, memorize 1 Corinthians 10:13. But don't just memorize - understand the power behind these words. When you speak scripture, you're not just quoting an ancient text - you're releasing God's creative power into your situation.
Or say the exact prayer Jesus told me before. Repeat this prayer after me. "It is written that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
" Now before using these weapons, address any unconfessed sin. Take regular inventory of your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you've compromised.
When He shows you something, don't justify or minimize it - repent immediately. I learned this firsthand during my recovery. There were times when my prayers seemed ineffective, and the Lord revealed it was because I was harboring unforgiveness toward the truck driver who hit me.
Once I repented and chose to forgive, my spiritual authority was restored. Through this experience, Jesus showed me that spiritual warfare isn't just about dramatic encounters with evil. It's a daily reality that affects every aspect of life - our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and circumstances.
The forces of darkness don’t always show up in obvious, terrifying ways. They work through subtle things, like lies that slowly chip away at our faith. There's fear that can paralyze us and hold us back from stepping into the life God wants for us.
Then there's doubt, the kind that makes us question God’s goodness, especially when life gets hard. Depression creeps in and steals our joy, while anxiety robs us of our peace. Addictions can take hold and bind us, and confusion often clouds our judgment, making it hard to know what’s right or wrong.
But through the weapons Jesus revealed, we have authority over all these attacks. During my NDE, Jesus also cleared up several misconceptions about spiritual warfare: 1. It's not about volume or emotion.
Screaming at demons isn't what gives us victory - it's our authority in Christ. 2. It's not about rituals or formulas.
The power isn't in specific words or actions but in our faith and understanding of our authority. 3. It's not a power we have to earn.
This authority is our inheritance in Christ - we just need to learn to use it. 4. It's not about us.
Our authority comes from Christ alone - we're simply exercising what He has given us. The purpose of these prayers isn't just for our comfort - it's for kingdom advancement. As we learn to walk in victory, we can help others find freedom too.
This is why Jesus sent me back - to share these truths with as many people as possible. If you're watching this, it's not by chance. Perhaps you're fighting battles that seem impossible to win.
Maybe you're exhausted from trying to overcome depression, anxiety, or addiction with human strength alone. Before I go, let's pray together: "Heavenly Father, I come to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for the authority you've given us through your Son.
I pray for everyone watching this testimony - let them grasp the power they have in Jesus's name, help them stand firm in their God-given authority, and teach them to wield your Word effectively against every attack of the enemy. Lord, bring them into true repentance where needed, and restore their full spiritual authority in Christ. Show them the reality of the spiritual warfare around them, but more importantly, show them the victory that is already theirs through Christ.
Release breakthrough in their lives. Let depression lift, anxiety flee, and addictions break as they learn to use these spiritual weapons effectively. Thank you for the victory that is already ours through Jesus.
In His mighty name, amen. " Remember, your breakthrough might be just one prayer away. Stand firm in what Jesus has provided, and watch as the forces of darkness flee before His authority working through you.
This testimony isn't just my story - it's an invitation to step into the spiritual authority that Jesus has provided for all His children. The same weapons He revealed to me are available to you. The same victory He showed me is possible in your life.
Take these truths, apply them, and watch as God's power works through you to overcome every spiritual attack. The battle is real, but the victory is already won. It's time to walk in it.
