Satan operates in deception and one of his greatest strategies is marking people without them even realizing it the enemy has already marked many through sin curses spiritual ignorance and worldly entanglements whether through addictions ungodly influences or subtle compromises his goal is to claim ownership over as many Souls as possible many walk through life unaware that they carry a spiritual mark one that keeps them bound oppressed and disconnected from God but here's the truth no Mark of Satan is greater than the power of Jesus Christ you can break free the first step to Freedom is recognizing
that True Deliverance comes through submission to God until you are under God's Authority resisting the devil will be impossible but when you submit MIT to God you gain the power to resist Satan and he will flee this brings us to James 4:7 which says submit yourselves therefore to God resist the devil and he will flee from you many Believers are scared of the devil and demons which is evident in how rarely the topic of demons and demonology is preached in churches today you can attend some Churches for a whole year without hearing a sermon on
these subjects however avoiding the topic does not make demons any less real Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior preached and spoke about demons and the devil and the truth is if you are a true Born Again child of God you will face the devil and his army at some point demons are not as powerful as many Believers think yet many still fear them meanwhile we have authority over demons but they do not want us to know it can demons affect this world yes can demons afflict people yes can demons destroy someone's life yes are demons
powerful yes because they are supernatural beings operating from the spirit realm however what empowers them the most is people's ignorance James 4:7 gives us great insight into how to deal with the devil and his cohort cour s you have the authority to resist the devil and the Bible says he will flee from you do you believe the word of God if so then consider the fact that you can resist the devil and his demons and be victorious can you imagine a fleeing demon you can make that a reality to resist the devil you must first
submit yourself to God however the devil does not want you to know that submitting to God gives you the power to resist him this is why he constantly fights against our submission to God he wants us to remain independent of God blind to our need for his authority the devil knows that if you submit to God you will have the legal ground to resist him there is something rebellious about the flesh it craves independence from God but true independence from God is impossible because he is the one we need your heart is beating right now
not because of your own independence but because of God you are able to take your next breath not because of your own power but because of God you slept last night and woke up not by your own independence but because of God's mercy do you understand that there are people who went to sleep last night and did not wake up there are people who close their eyes in sleep and are now in the Flames of gehenna just 24 hours ago they were on this Earth and now they are in the place of weeping and nashing
of teeth we are not independent of God not even a little we need him absolutely and completely the devil deceived Eve to eat the forbidden fruit because he wanted her to get out of submission to God's author Authority he knows that the only time humans can resist him is when they are in submission to God the devil does not want you to know the power of your submission to God because if you do you will put him to flight demons will always dominate people that are not under submission to God breaking down the key parts
of James 47 part one submit yourselves to God to submit to God is to continually bow to his decisions and his dispensations yielding your life entirely to him in complete surrender it means obeying his word above all else following him regardless of the cost no matter the price you have to pay true submission is not partial or conditional it is complete and utter obedience to God and His word it is not a half-hearted commitment where one foot is in and the other is out it is not an obedience that only manifests when others are watching
nor is it a form of self-righteousness that assumes adherence to the law alone makes one a Christian true submission is seeing God In His glory acknowledging him as the one you follow the one you love and the one you live for do do not fall for the deception of easy believism which claims that a one-time prayer asking Jesus into your heart is all that is required without any need for transformation or continued faithfulness Satan loves for people to believe this because it leaves them powerless against him but those who truly believe in God and His
word will inevitably lay down their lives to him and for him surrendering to God is the only path to everlasting life to submit to God is to place yourself under his Divine authority to surrender to him as the Conquering King and to live in full alignment with his will firstly you should submit to God because he created you God is not just a distant Creator he is your creator the one who lovingly formed you with purpose Isaiah 43 one declares but now thus sayeth the Lord that created thee oh Jacob and he that formed thee
oh Israel fear not for I have redeemed Thee I have called thee by thy name Thou Art mine you belong to God and he knows you personally he calls you by name meaning you are not just another creation you are his submitting to him draws you closer to the one who know knows you better than you know yourself the one who formed you in your mother's womb and has a divine plan for your life secondly you should submit to God because his rule is good for you submission to God is not about oppression it is
about stepping into the safety peace and blessings of his divine order many people resist submission because they associate it with control or loss of freedom however true freedom is found in surrendering to the one who has your best interests at heart Jeremiah 29:11 for I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end no one cares for your life the way God does his plans are always better than our own and his authority brings Life protection and purpose when you submit
to him you walk in alignment with his will which leads to True fulfillment and joy thirdly you should submit to God because all resistance to him is feudal no matter how much someone resists God the truth remains He reigns Supreme the inevitable reality is that one day every single person whether they acknowledged him in Life or not will bow before him Romans 14:11 for it is written as I live saith the Lord every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God there will come a day when all Humanity will recognize his
sovereignty the wise submit willingly in love and obedience rather than waiting until it is too late submission to God now means embracing his love and mercy rather than facing him in judgment later fourthly you should submit to God because submission is absolutely necessary for salvation Salvation is not merely about believing that God exists it is about surrendering your life to him Jesus did not call people to a passive Faith he called them to a life of total submission to God Luke 923 and he said to them all if any man will come after me let
him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me true faith is not just intellectual agreement it is an act of the will a complete yielding of your life to God without submission there is no true transformation no true obedience and ultimately no salvation to be saved is to recognize Christ as Lord not just in words but in the way you live your life [Music] part two of breaking down the key parts of James 47 resist the devil and he will flee from you while you are to yield to God in all things
you must yield to the devil in none resist and oppose him in every way he approaches you whether through alluring Temptations flattering promises the enticements of the world or even threats resisting him means actively countering his lies with the truth of God's goodness love and power oppose the devil in every aspect of your life do battle against him this is the truth he desperately wants to keep from you if you resist him after submitting to God he will flee from you the key is to First submit to God without submission resistance is feudal if you
attempt to stand against the devil in your own strength without first surrendering to God you will find yourself overwhelmed the enemy will entangle you in confusion oppression and Chaos he will throw everything at you but when you're under God's Authority your resistance has power because the devil is not afraid of you he is afraid of God demons want to keep this truth hidden they want you to believe you can resist the devil without first submitting to God but that is a lie as long as you remain submitted to God you have no reason to fear
demons never be afraid of them or of the Devil Himself consider Eve she wanted to be like God so she stepped outside of his authority disobeyed his command and became subject to the devil's deception the moment you remove yourself from God's Authority resisting the devil becomes nearly impossible many Believers wonder why they struggle to overcome Temptation and spiritual attacks it is because they have neglected the first step today your understanding has been open to a truth demons have tried to keep hidden now that you know act on it submit yourself to God first then resist
the devil and watch him flee but don't stop there resistance must be active submitting to God is one step but engaging in resistance is another God will not resist the devil for you he has given you the authority to do it stand firm take up your Spiritual armor and fight back
