So, we are officially entering 2026. And I really need you to hear me when I say this. This is not about becoming a completely different person in order to glow up.
It's about starting to be intentional and finally letting your best, most beautiful self show. So, your girl has had a major glow up, if I do say so myself, over the past couple of years, like literally every aspect of my life, physically, emotionally, mentally. And the biggest lesson I've learned with having a glow up is that it's not going to come from extremes.
Having a major glow up is not going to come from you doing everything perfectly for 2 weeks. and burning out and never doing it again. Your glow up is going to come from consistency.
And I feel like my glow-up proof speaks for itself. When I tell you I know what I'm talking about, I know what I'm talking about. So, if you want to be in your glowup era for 2026, I'm going to be breaking down 11 beauty tips that will genuinely level up your confidence and glow you up for 2026.
By the way, if you're new here, hello. My name is Lena and I share all things leveling up and becoming your best self. So, if you're not already subscribed, >> what are you doing?
Okay, what are you doing? >> Go subscribe right now. So, before we even begin, the real ones already know what I'm going to say.
I want you to comment down below, "I am in my glowup era for 2026. " And I'm not telling you to do this to waste your time, okay? Writing your intention before you even start with all the steps is so powerful.
Studies show that when you put your goals into words, you are 42% more likely to actually achieve that goal. And also, any and all products I mentioned in this video will be linked in my description. So, let's get into it.
Tip number one, get your steps in daily. So, my whole life, basically, I struggled with my weight. I was constantly told by family members that I needed to lose weight, that I was too big.
And it took a huge toll on my confidence, my mental health. I like don't remember a day growing up in my childhood where I wasn't so stressed about my weight or wanting to lose weight. And I would always punish my body.
I would restrict my calories. I would try to eat like 1,000 calories a day. I would be running on the treadmill every single day trying to burn as many calories as I could.
And let me tell you from experience, I would always just end up crashing and binge eating and falling off from working out because I hated it. And this whole cycle I was going on, it was just not sustainable. and I never got the results that I actually wanted.
And something I really wish I knew back then, which I'm about to share with you guys right now, is there is no need to over complicate losing weight or becoming fit. All I really had to focus on was getting my daily movement in for the day. And for me, that became getting my daily steps in or going on a hot girl walk as I like to call it cuz it's more fun.
But the point is not intensity, it's consistency. So, I started very simple. I just started focusing on getting 5,000 steps in every day.
I actually started doing this last year. And when I tell you getting my steps in every day has helped so much with my bloating. I used to struggle with like painful painful bloating.
And also over time with getting my steps in, I noticed that my face started to look less puffy. The jawline started coming out looking more snatched. And it was so simple.
I was just getting my steps in every day. Obviously, I would work out too. But getting my steps in daily was key.
So if I see that I'm slacking on my steps for the day, I will literally go outside, go on a walk, go to a cafe, go walking to my grocery store, walk to a nearby park. I just like blast my favorite music or I throw on a podcast and I just get to walking. And I know 5,000 steps kind of sounds like a lot, but it's honestly so easy to sneak your steps in.
Let's say you're going on a Target run. Park your car as far as you can and then hawker walk to Target. While you're at Target, browse and walk around as much as you can.
If you could walk to school or walk to work, try to walk it. It's such a simple glow up hack, but it actually works. That consistency will start to carry in every single area of your life.
So, I am a huge believer in getting your daily steps in. And once you get used to the 5,000 steps, try to bump it up to 10,000. You will literally look and feel so much better.
Even going outside and going on a walk, you feel better mentally, but also you're going to start to look snatched physically. And walking is not that hard. I've seen more results with just walking every day instead of trying to run as much as I can on the treadmill every single day for like 2 weeks and then after 2 weeks I fall off and then never want to step foot on a treadmill again.
Physical tip number two, strength train to tone your body. Let me tell you, strength training changed my life, okay? It is what truly changed my body, changed my confidence.
not doing a bunch of cardio, not restricting all my food, not doing everything at once. Lifting weights is what gives you that shape. It gives you muscle tone.
It gave me so much confidence because I feel strong in my body. I'm a firm believer that all women should weightlift because it will help you look the best you've ever looked. And there's literally studies that show that weightlifting will quite literally help you be more attractive.
So, research published by Harvard Medical School shows that strength training helps women increase lean muscle, improve posture, boost metabolism, and improve overall body composition without making you bulky. A study published in medicine and science in sports and exercise found that resistance training improved physical perception in adolescent girls, including perceived body attractiveness, which means the girls felt more attractive after lifting weights compared to those who didn't. And I made sure to include these studies cuz I don't know about you, but for me, before I started lifting weights, I thought that lifting weights would automatically make me huge and bulky, and that is just not the case at all.
Strength training is actually good for you, but will also actually help you look better. I personally found that doing a mix of everything. So strength training and also doing like Pilates, hot yoga, going on hot girl walks, going on runs, whatever exercise that you genuinely love to do, absolutely do that, but make sure that you are also adding strength training.
And I promise you that combo will glow you up. Fix your posture. Okay, one of the fastest physical glow up habits that I feel like no one really talks about is posture.
It's so funny cuz I remember growing up my mom would always tell me like, "Sit up. " You know, girl, sit up. What are you doing?
Stop slouching. And as a kid, I'd be like gh like why is she always saying that to me? It's so annoying.
like, "Let me live. " But now that I'm older, I'm like, "My knew what she was talking about. " Because posture alone can completely change how you look and how people perceive you.
Not only is it an energy thing, because like when you're closed off and your posture is not good, it gives clothes off to other people versus when you're sitting up and your posture is straight. You look more wide and open. Your energy is more open.
There's two girls that are the perfect example of perfect posture. Zenaia and Leah KB. O, those girls [snorts] have perfect posture.
Their posture just makes them look taller, more confident, more elegant, and they just have like aura, and it just quite literally looks better. And this is coming from someone that had horrible posture. Guys, this was me like a few years ago.
My brother actually took a photo of me and my horrible posture. I had something called tech neck. I believe like whenever I was editing on my computer or like answering emails and stuff, I would literally be hunched back like like this.
Not anymore, babe. My brother taking that photo of me was a wakeup call cuz as soon as I saw that photo, I was like, "Oh, nah. " Like this posture is not cute.
Let me fix it. So, ever since then, I have been purposely like being very mindful of my posture, sitting upright. When I walk into a room, keeping my posture up.
Even if I'm socially anxious and I'm stressed out in the head, no one is going to see that because my posture is going to be perfect. So, start practicing good posture. When you're sitting, be mindful.
Sit up. Keep your chin up. You know, it might feel uncomfortable at first.
It did for me. Now, it just comes more naturally. And there are actually studies that prove that better posture makes you more attractive.
A study published in the Journal of Non-verbal Behavior found that people who displayed upright open posture were consistently perceived as more attractive, more confident, and more high status compared to people with slouched or closed posture. And you know, tech neck is really real. Like this is what it looks like and we don't want to have that, babe.
So, let's fix our posture together. Heal your skin barrier. Okay, for this tip, I'm going to slow this down because this is a very, very personal one for me.
So, the real ones already know this, but I dealt with the worst hormonal acne of my life last year when I got off of birth control. I'm talking inflammation, acne, breakouts. It affected me physically, yes, but it affected me emotionally and mentally so much.
I would literally look in the mirror and just like sob, like cry sobbing because I didn't know what was going on. I was trying everything under the sun. I was trying all the products, all the tips that people were telling me, and just like nothing was working.
And when I was dealing with all that acne, I thought stripping my skin barrier was the answer. No, babe, it was healing my skin barrier. So, what worked for me is stopping all the harsh treatments I was putting to like dry out all my pimples.
and instead I started focusing on calming and healing my skin. So, let me put you guys on to this one product that genuinely helped me with my skin so much. This is the Anua azelleic acid 10% serum.
You guys, this baby right here has been a game changer for my skin. I'm telling you, I wish I knew about aelic acid way earlier. I'm almost halfway done and this is already my second bottle.
It helped reduce irritation and redness and it helped fade my acne marks over time. And if you could tell from these photos, I was dealing with so much texture, fungal acne, so much redness and inflammation in my acne, and it was so stubborn. When I tell you guys, I felt like I tried everything on the market.
I genuinely wish I knew about as like acid sooner. So, after cleansing my face, adding some toner, I add this on before moisturizer, and the results speak for itself. My skin is not perfect, okay, but it looks so much more calmer, more even.
The texture is so much better. And there's a reason I'm raving about the serum, okay? It has so many good reviews on Amazon and it's actually the number one acne serum on Amazon and for good reason because I'm telling you she works.
Okay, and aelic acid in general is amazing for your skin and I've tried other aelic acid serums. But I'm telling you this one in particular, it's super like lightweight. Let me show you.
And like watery and it absorbs super fast versus other aelic acid serums I've used. They're more thick and are pore clogging, which is not good if you're dealing with texture like I was. It's never made me break out.
And if you're dealing with a lot of texture like I was, it's important to avoid pore clogging ingredients. And this serum is non-pore clogging. If you're also dealing with similar skin issues like I was, I'm going to have Anua's aleic acid serum linked in my description for you guys.
And yeah, shout out Anoa. I use a bunch of their products in my skincare routine right now. Korean skincare in general has completely transformed my skin.
So if you guys want a more in-depth skincare routine, I could definitely do that for you guys. Eat to nourish, not to restrict. Please, please, please hear me when I say this.
Please stop restricting yourself. I heard this one amazing tip from this nutritionist that I follow on social media. I forgot her name, but she always says, "Focus on what you can add to your food, not what you can take out and restrict.
" And that is such a great mentality to have with food. Instead of trying to restrict yourself and not letting yourself eat this and eat that, and even though you're craving this, you you're not letting yourself eat it. Instead, focus on nourishment cuz that's what food is.
It's to nourish you and it's also for you to enjoy. So, just focusing on protein, fiber, whole foods balance. I've talked about the 80/20 rule before already, but basically it's when you eat healthy 80% of the time and allow yourself to indulge 20% of the time.
Also, just focusing on getting more colors on your plate. There's a lot of great photos that show this. But yeah, take it from me, okay?
As someone who used to binge eat, I used to restrict myself from eating anything, like trying to restrict my calories, barely eating carbs or any sugar, restrict myself so much to the point that I would literally go crazy and just eat everything on site. Take it from me, it is better to let yourself indulge, to eat that ice cream, to eat that chocolate cake, to enjoy yourself instead of trying so hard to eat perfectly healthy 100% of the time. It's just not realistic.
And also, when you restrict yourself so much like that, you just end up going crazy and crashing out and just eating everything in your pantry. And that's called yo-yo dieting, which is not good. So, just getting rid of this diet culture mindset, I feel like that nutritionist mindset with food on what you can add to your food rather than taking out is such a healthy mindset.
So, for example, I love ramen. Okay, I'm Korean. specifically shin lamyan.
My favorite. Okay, I crave it all the time and I love it. Every time I'm craving it, I don't let myself eat it.
But there's sometimes where I'm like, if I'm really craving it, I'm going to have it. Okay, so instead of getting down on myself and being hard on myself like, oh, I shouldn't eat this ramen. I'll make the ramen and then I'll see what I could add to it.
So, I'll add bok choy for the nutrients. I'll add egg for protein, throw some spring onion on top. I try to find what I can add to it that will be more nutritious for me rather than just not letting myself eat it at all.
Another example is like most recently I baked banana chocolate chip muffins because I was craving something sweet and instead of being like no I can't eat this. I baked myself some banana chocolate chip muffins. I made it a little bit healthier by adding less sugar and adding more fiber to it.
Using dark chocolate chips, seeing what I could add to it instead of taking away and not letting myself eat it. So there's a lot of things you could do using the 80/20 rule, using the color rule, making sure that your plate has a bunch of different colors. Seeing what you can add and not subtract from your meals.
Like there's so many things that can make it more sustainable. And I'm telling you, you will see more of a difference doing it this way rather than the yo-yo dieting, restricting yourself, that type of way. It's more sustainable.
It's better for you mentally and physically. Be consistent with hair oiling. All right.
I don't know if you could tell, but the hair. I do not play about my hair, guys. Ever since I went through that one traumatic stage of my life when I was 6 years old, my mom was trying to save money, live better.
Instead of going to the hairdresser, she cut my hair like up to here, okay? I looked like Asianora. It was not fun.
Ever since that happened, I have never looked back. Okay? My hair has always been very, very long and I've learned to take care of my hair so that it can grow long.
Let me tell you, hair care is so important and healthy hair really is going to change your appearance. You ever notice when you have a good hair day, you just feel, you know, you have a little bit more pep in your step, you feel better. You walk around more confident.
Well, having beautiful, healthy hair, a lot of people don't know this, but it actually starts from your scalp health. So, for good scalp health, we're going to put you on to hair oiling. Okay, this is a box of like a bunch of stuff that I'm talking about in this video.
Okay, let me tell you guys, weekly hair oiling will change the game for you. Your hair is going to look healthier. It's going to grow longer.
It's going to feel softer. If you don't already, oil your hair weekly and use hair masks. So, I oil my hair one to two times a week.
And don't worry, I got you. I'm going to go through my whole hair oiling process for you. So, first of all, these are the two hair oils that I like to use.
This is the Fable and Maine hair oil, and this is the OGX coconut oil hydrating oil mist. These right here, dynamic duo. So, the first thing I do before putting any of this stuff in my hair is I stimulate my scalp.
So, there's no point in adding a crap ton of oil in your hair if you're not going to stimulate your scalp. You need to get your blood circulating first. So, what I do is I grab this bamboo brush.
I got this off of Amazon. I'm going to have everything I talk about linked in my description for you guys. I take this and I start by just brushing through my hair.
It literally feels so good. It genuinely feels like a little massage for myself. I just start by just brushing through my hair from my scalp all the way to the ends of my hair.
And then I'll go in and just massage with this brush. just massage it all over my head. I don't know if you guys know the hair massage tools.
I don't know. My mom had one of those and growing up I would always use it on my head. It kind of reminds me of that.
It feels like a little massage for your head. So, after I do that, then that's when I go in with my hair oil. So, the first oil I use is this one.
I just go in with a few drops on each section of my hair. Put a few drops and just massage it into my scalp. Make sure you're getting in there good.
So, I always start with the scalp first and then that's when I go in with this hydrating oil mist. And then I'll go from about here to the ends of my hair. I love this because it's a spray and it's so much easier than like trying to drop it in my hair.
I just spray all around my head. I also make sure I flip my hair over. I get the bottom too.
You don't want to neglect that part and then I just clock clip her up and I leave it in for at least 30 minutes to an hour if I can a few hours and I'll just like watch a Netflix show or like clean some part of my apartment just to make the time go by faster cuz you want to let the oil sit in your hair. And then after that, that's when I wash my hair and go into the shower. And I always make sure that I double shampoo because you really want to make sure that you get all the oil out.
All right, I'm going to put you guys on to two of my favorite hair masks of all time. This is the K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask. This hair mask has helped my hair so much.
I used to deal with a lot of like frizziness in my hair, and this has helped so much. It makes my hair buttery soft. She's one of my favorites, hands down.
Another one of my favorites is the Weey fine to medium hair treatment. This one is also an amazing one. It also smells like divine, divine, divine.
Whenever I use this on my hair, I always get compliments that my hair smells amazing. And I'm like, really? It's like my natural scent.
So, hair oil, hair mask, and also any anytime I use heat on my hair, I always use a heat protectant. So, this is one of my favorites. This is the Pantene Miracle Rescue 10-in-1 multitasking spray.
I love this one cuz it protects against heat against my hair. It helps detangle my hair and makes it less frizzy and more soft. So, these are all my all my babies.
Love them down. Do a color analysis. Okay, so one really underrated physical glow-up habit that completely changed how put together I look is doing a color analysis.
Color analysis is basically when you figure out what colors actually flatter your skin tone, your hair color, your undertone, your eyes, and which colors tend to wash you out or not be as flattering on you. And coming from someone that I didn't really believe in this, okay, I'm not going to lie. When I first heard about a color analysis, I was like, that kind of sounds like BS until I got my own color analysis done in Korea.
Okay, when they showed me the colors that look good on me, everything clicked. Okay, we all have different colors that look good on us. And when you wear your right colors that suit you, your skin is going to look brighter.
Your eyes pop out more. You look more awake. And it's really simple because you're not doing anything that extra.
You're just figuring out what color clothes look best on you. And it's a subtle thing that makes a big difference. As you can see here, these are the colors that they said that look the best on me.
And I completely agree. Ever since they told me that, I've been only buying clothes in those colors versus these colors. They said that it tends to wash me out.
My face doesn't look as bright. It doesn't look as flattering on me. But let me be honest, okay?
Color analysis, it's not cheap, girl. Okay? It is not cheap at all.
But the good news is that we have AI tools now like Chachi BT that makes things like this more accessible. So, all you have to do is upload a photo of yourself onto ChachiBC and then ask it to help analyze your undertone, your contrast level, and what colors look the best on you. Is it going to be 100% perfect?
No, obviously. But, it's honestly a solid starting point rather than spending like hundreds of dollars on an actual color analysis. So, once you understand your undertone and what colors look the best on you, now it's a lot easier to dress yourself.
Even knowing your undertone, you figure out what hair color looks best on you. So for me, they told me that black looks the best on me, which was really helpful because there was a time where I was thinking of dyeing my hair, but they said black looks the best on me. So I was like, bet.
They also told me like blues look good on me, and which is why she's wearing blue right now. And I remember in one of my last talking videos, I was wearing blue and a bunch of you guys commented that it looked really good on me, which I appreciate. It's not for no reason, okay?
When I see the color blue on a clothing item, I usually try to get it in blue. But yeah, knowing what colors look best on you will completely elevate your look. Focus on facial balancing.
So, facial balancing is all about making things work together, and it's going to glow you up, girl. Trust. There's actually some science to prove this.
A really well-known study published in Psychological Science found that faces that are more balanced and symmetrical are consistently rated as more attractive. So, that's why small adjustments to your brow shape, your blush placement, your lip shape, that's going to make actually a big difference in your facial symmetry. So, for example, one of the big things that I did was change my brow shape.
If you can see in these photos before, I used to have brows that just would go straight down. I wanted a really nice arched brow. Finally, I realized that that actually doesn't really look good with my particular face shape because it just like drags my face down.
But then I finally changed my brow shape to be a little bit more straighter, and that has just overall lifted my appearance so much. My eyes look more awake. It's also made my face look more symmetrical.
So, knowing what brow shape looks the best with your face shape is really important. Next is your lips. I'm not going to lie, I'd be overlining my lips, okay?
Guilty. I love a full looking lip, but even subtle differences with your lip shape, evening out your natural lip shape, enhancing your cupid's bow, making it look slightly fuller, it's going to help make your face look a lot more proportional. Another huge huge one is blush placement.
But just like your eyebrows, where you place your blush can actually lift your face down or lift it up. So, versus other people where their blush placement might look better on the sides of their cheeks, I noticed that my blush placement looks a lot better when I have it on the apples of my cheeks. But this all also depends on your face shape.
So just figure out what blush placement looks the best with your face shape. Prioritize your gut health. So your gut health controls a lot more than you think.
Okay? Your skin, your hair, your nails, your energy, your bloating, inflammation, even your mood. There are so many studies that prove this.
So when I started focusing on my gut health, that's when everything changed for me. So for my gut health, I drink bone broth every single morning. Every single morning.
Yes. Every morning. I take pre and probiotics and I try to eat foods that I know digest well for me.
That is truly when my skin improved and my bloating went down. I'm telling you, I take my gut health so serious now after my whole health thing last year, my hormonal acne stuff. So, this is actually the bone broth that I drink every single morning.
This is the kettle and fire bone broth. This one doesn't really have seasoning, so if you like more seasoning, you could just add like lemon, garlic powder, onion powder, some salt. Or if you like a little bit more flavor, I highly recommend the barebones one.
That one is also super good. I take those ones on the go because they're just like in these little packets and those taste amazing. It tastes like soup.
I also always take a pre- and probiotic every single morning. This is by Seed. This is their DSO1 daily symbiotic.
I just take two every single morning. Any probiotic should work. But yeah, probiotics are going to help promote healthy gut bacteria, which is going to help with your digestion, your bloating, your skin, your energy levels, your mood.
And so when I started prioritizing my gut health, I noticed that my digestion things were moving smoother, if you know what I mean. Also, my skin looked better and I stopped being bloated every single morning. I would literally wake up and not eat anything and I was bloated.
So, I don't struggle with that anymore, which is amazing. Stay high maintenance to be low maintenance. So, one of my favorite glow-up tips is being high maintenance in like small but very consistent ways so that I can be lowmaintenance in my day-to-day.
So, this basically means just setting up habits so that you feel more put together and you look better without like crazy extra effort. So, for example, I use hand cream every single night before I go to bed. This is the one that I use.
This is by Looks a Ton. Bro, this stuff makes my hands buttery smooth. I have a big tub of this because I literally use it every single night.
And I just keep it by my bedside table and right before I go to bed, I just grab her, put some on. I wake up with the most gorgeous soft baby butter hands. Having nice soft moisturized hands just instantly makes you look more polished and put together.
Another thing I do every night is I use lash serum. I have two of the same ones. This is my favorite one.
It's by The Ordinary. This is the one I use every single night. This is my backup in case this one gets lost.
Let me show you this one. This one has the logo. This is what it looks like.
This is The Ordinary Multieptide Lash and Brow Serum. I use this on my lashes only because I barely already have any brow hair and I've just accepted it. I don't even use serum on it.
But I use this on my lashes every single night. And so that even on my no makeup days where I'm not wearing lashes or mascara, my lashes at least look, you know, longer and fuller and are healthier. And you know, skincare, that's just a non-negotiable for me.
I never fall asleep with makeup on. I do not play about my skincare. I am very consistent with her.
Even if it's super late, I will always wash my face and take off my makeup. I also always keep my nails done, my toes done. It's a very simple way to look put together.
I get my toes done regularly, but I mean, as you can see, I'm missing a little nail here. >> [laughter] >> I usually always use press on because I weightlift. When I get my nails done, it ends up breaking anyway.
I'm not giving a good example with my busted nail looking crazy, but usually my nails look put together. So, yeah, being high maintenance in these little ways just make sure that when I wake up, I'm already feeling clean, polished. I don't really have to think about it.
That's the goal. Just putting in a little bit more effort every day so that you never really have to think about it later. And then finally, have a signature scent.
This is honestly very underrated, but a huge glow up tip. Okay, you want to know why? I just remember this one time I was in like middle school or high school maybe.
I was like at the mall with my mom and this like girl just like walked past me. She smelled amazing when she passed by. I swear I smelled her and I was like, "Oh my goodness.
" And actually, she was walking past really fast. I didn't even get to get a good look at her face, but I just remember her scent to this day. Years later, I still remember her scent because she smelled so divine and she smelled so good that I literally like broke my neck.
I was like, "Wo. " I only got to see like the back of her head, but instantly like I was like, "Oh, that must be a pretty girl. " like she has to be beautiful because she smells amazing.
And I really honestly never forgot that. Like that's how much scent matters. First of all, smelling good makes you memorable, but especially having a signature scent that smells amazing makes you even more memorable.
So, I learned this one trick on Tik Tok University. But basically, someone on Tik Tok University shared how Brazilians, they are really big on smelling good because smelling good is a non-negotiable in Brazilian culture. They really know how to smell good all day.
And so, they shared this method which is super simple but effective. Okay, I've tried it and I've been using it myself. So, the method is this.
Okay, when you get out of the shower, while your skin is still a little damp, you want to put on body oil. And so, these are my two favorite favorite favorite body oils of all time. This one is busted.
She's busted, but she works. This is the Looks Supple Skin Oil. This stuff smells amazing.
This is also another one of my huge favorites. This is the Aino Daily Moisturizing Body Oil Mist. I can't even tell you how many times I've gotten compliments on this body oil because it smells that amazing.
And both of these body oils, by the way, they make your skin so buttery soft. So, yeah, when you get out of the shower, you want to lather your body in body oil. This is going to give your skin a soft base for the scent to cling onto.
Then, they go in with the lotion on top of the body oil. This is one of my favorites. This is the EOS vanilla cashmere body lotion.
There's so many people that talk about this for a reason. It literally smells freaking amazing. Whenever I want a compliment on my scent, I lather her on.
And putting on lotion on top is going to help the scent stay on longer and is good for hydration. And then this part is key. Okay, putting on fragrance last.
Oil, lotion, then perfume. I never knew about this trick, but ever since I learned it and I've been using it, I've been smelling good all day. But yeah, anyway, this is my favorite perfume.
I've talked about it before. This is the Ariana Grande Cloud perfume. The logo is already off because I just use it all the time.
I have the full body one, but I don't even know where she went. But that's how much I use this perfume. I've gone through so many bottles of Ariana Grande Cloud perfume.
It is so underrated. Ariana Grande, she ate with that perfume because I've been using it for years and I've never gotten more compliments on a scent than that scent. Another scent that I love is the Sticky Dates by Skyler.
That one is also an amazing one. But yeah, I usually have to reapply my scents to make sure that it stays. But now, ever since I started using this method, I don't even reapply and I've been getting compliments on my scent.
So, the Brazilians, they're on to something. And then finally, a bonus tip. Always move like you're being watched.
Okay, so one of the biggest glows I've had is when I started being intentional about how I move, how I walk, how I sit, how I stand, how I enter a room, how I show up for myself. Moving with intention instantly makes you more attractive, more confident, and just like more put together. And don't get me wrong, I still love a good day where I'm wearing a bum fit, no makeup, just like chilling in my element.
But ever since I started putting more effort into what I wear when I go out, how I smell, how I look, how I walk into a room, that energy I'm putting into that, it always exudes back. And also, when you move like you're being watched mentally, it just instantly levels you up because you become more aware of yourself. When you start to move and make decisions like people are always watching, you almost set higher standards for yourself and you show up for yourself better.
You work harder. You tend to be more motivated, more consistent. And psychology actually proves this.
There's this concept called self-perception theory, which basically says that we form our own identity by observing our own behavior. So when you start to show up and act confident, act intentional, more put together, your brain starts to believe, oh, like this is how I am now. There's also something called the Hawthorne effect, which actually shows that people tend to perform better and stay more consistent when they are being observed, even if that observer is just themselves.
So when you start to move like you're being watched, you're more likely to stand taller, stay disciplined, follow through on habits, make better choices and decisions. And I'm telling you, if you move like this this year, 2026 will be the year that you have your biggest glow up. If you actually watched the end, I want you to comment down below this emoji so I know you're a real one and watch the end.
