I'm going to show you people in order like step-by-step wise so that you can use to, you know, facilitate your hair growth, to, you know, fix your receding hairline, and also your bald head, too. Before we go into the video, I'd like to give a shout-out to Patience Nolan from Ireland, and also uh Victoria Archie from Ghana.
So, do well to like and also comment your name and where you are watching from so that I may give you a shout-out in our next video. Now, let's dive right into the video. I know you have seen many onion juice tutorials, but this one is different, and I want to tell you why before we even begin.
In India, there's an ancient system of natural medicine called Ayurveda. It has been around for over 5,000 years. In this tradition, the onion, called Palandu, has always been used as a powerful remedy for the scalp and hair.
But, here's the thing. In Ayurvedic practice, onion is never used alone. It is always combined with one special ingredient that makes it work much better, and I'll be showing you exactly what that ingredient is later in this video.
So, if you have tried onion juice before and did not see the results you wanted, the problem was probably not the onion. It was the way it was prepared and that one missing ingredient. Stay with me until the end because that part changes everything.
Before we begin with this preparation, let us start with the science, and I promise to keep it simple. Understanding what onion is made of is important. This will make you to be more consistent.
Onions are very rich in three essential ingredients that is beneficial to the hair. This include in a mineral, sulfur, quercetin, and an enzyme called catalase. Sulfur is one of the most important things your hair needs to grow well.
Here is why. Your hair is made of a protein called keratin, and keratin contains sulfur. So, when you do not have enough sulfur reaching your hair follicles, the tiny openings in your scalp where each hair grows from, your hair grows slowly, breaks easily, and never seems to get longer no matter what you do.
Quercetin is a natural compound that reduces inflammation on the scalp. Now, why does that matter? Because an inflamed scalp is one of the biggest hidden reasons why hair stops growing properly.
And finally, catalase breaks down a harmful substance called hydrogen peroxide that builds up naturally in the scalp over time. This buildup is one of the reasons hair can start to gray prematurely, and why follicles become damaged with age. Catalase neutralizes it.
Take your onions. Red onion is better since it contains more quercetin, and blend them into a smooth paste. If your blender needs water to work, add just a tiny amount, very little.
We're not making a drink. We're extracting a concentrated juice, and adding too much water makes it weaker and less effective. Blend it well until it is completely smooth.
Once it is blended, pour the paste into a bowl and strain it through a fine strainer or a clean cloth. Pressing it firmly to squeeze out as much juice as possible. What you want is the pure liquid.
That is where all the goodness is. Throw away the solid bits that are left behind. We do not need them, and we do not want them sitting on our scalp or getting stuck in our hair.
Now, here's a special addition that makes this version much stronger than regular onion juice. We're adding a small amount of sulfur powder to the juice we extracted. Let me explain why.
The onion already has natural sulfur in it. That is what causes the sharp smell and the watering of the eyes when you cut one. >> [gasps] >> That sulfur is already doing a lot of good work, but by adding a small amount of pure sulfur powder to the juice, we are increasing the sulfur level of the final product significantly.
We are giving your hair follicles a much higher dose of the exact mineral they need most. The result is a treatment that works faster and more powerfully than plain onion juice alone. Add the sulfur powder to your strained juice and stir it well until it is fully mixed in.
Your treatment is now ready. >> [clears throat] >> Pour the liquid into an applicator bottle, the kind with a pointed tip that lets you apply directly to the scalp. This type of bottle gives you the most control and make sure the product goes exactly where it needs to go, onto your scalp, not just your hair.
Now for application, and please do not rush this part. It is just as important as the preparation. Make sure your scalp is clean before you begin.
Divide your hair into sections and apply the onion and sulfur liquid directly to your scalp using the applicator bottle. Go in section by section until your entire scalp is covered. As you apply it, massage your scalp immediately using the soft parts of your fingers, not your nails.
This massage is not optional. It does two very important things at the same time. First, it pushes the active compounds deeper into the scalp so they can reach the follicles more effectively.
Second, it increases blood flow to the scalp. More blood flow means more oxygen and more nutrients reaching each hair follicle through your bloodstream. These two things working together give you much better results than just applying the product and leaving it alone.
If your hair is in braids, twists, cornrows, or any protective style, use a cotton pad soaked in the treatment to apply it between the patterns directly onto your scalp. Press it down firmly so the liquid reaches the scalp properly. Then follow with the same gentle finger massage.
When your whole scalp is done, apply a light layer of hair oil over everything. This seals the treatment in and stops it from evaporating too quickly. It also adds moisture to your hair strands at the same time.
Rice oil, castor oil, or any natural oil you have at home works perfectly here. The oil keeps the sulfur and the other active compounds in contact with your scalp for longer, which means better absorption and better results. Now, I want to address something practical, the smell.
Onions have a strong odor, and there is no way around that. The same sulfur that makes your hair grow is the same thing causing the smell. My advice is simple.
Do this treatment on a day when you are at home, a weekend morning or an evening when you have nowhere to be. You can rinse it out with a nice-smelling conditioner afterwards, and the smell will go completely. The results are worth the temporary inconvenience.
Leave the treatment on your scalp for a minimum of 30 minutes. If you can manage 1 to 2 hours, that is even better. Then rinse thoroughly, condition your hair as usual, and style normally.
Use this treatment two to three times per week, not every day. I want to be clear about that. Using it too often can actually cause the opposite of what you want because the protein and sulfur concentration is high, and too much of it can make your hair stiff and dry over time.
Two to three times per week is the sweet spot. Most people start to see a clear difference in their hair texture, and reduce breakage within 2 weeks. Real length retention becomes visible after about 2 to 3 months of consistent use.
If you have thinning edges or patchy hair loss, take a clear photo before you start. Then take another one at 2 weeks, and again at 4 weeks. The change is often very visible, and having the photos side by side will show you just how well this works.
This is not expensive. This is not complicated. This is biology working in your favor using something you already have.
Give it the time and consistency it deserves, and your hair will show you the results. If this video helped you, please give it a like and share it with someone on their hair journey. Subscribe so you never miss a new video, and leave your questions or your results in the comments.
