Proof Jesus Christ Has Always Been

Has Jesus Christ always been or was he created? What does the Bible say? Hello, my name is Kyle Kiker with 1611 Doctrine out of Victory Baptist Church in Salsbury, North Carolina.

I wanted to do this video because where I am in Concord, there's a lot of a cult around here called the Jehovah's Witnesses. They believe that Jesus Christ was created. And we're going to see from the scriptures what the Bible has to say.

So Micah chapter 5 and verse two is where we'll start. This is in the King James Bible obviously. But thou Bethlehem Epherta, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth hath been from of old, from everlasting.

So who is it? Whoever it is his goings for whose goings forth have been from of old from everlasting. That way is eternity future.

That way is eternity past. From everlasting that means no start from everlasting. Well, let's go to Matthew chapter 2 and we'll see who that is.

Matthew chapter 2 and look at verse 6. Well, I'll start reading in verse 4:3. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him.

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet, and thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not the least among the princes of Judah. For out of thee shall come a governor that shall rule my people Israel.

" It's obviously talking about Jesus Christ. He's always been because he's from everlasting. Now, why can't the Russellites see that Jesus Christ has been from everlasting?

Well, in their Bible, it says on the end of it there, whose origin is from ancient times, from the days of long ago. You can have a beginning and be from ancient times. You can have a beginning and be from days long ago.

So, what they do is they protect their doctrine, their wicked doctrine, by changing the text. There you go. All right, let's look at another one.

Oh, and you might want to some of the the thing is the New World Translation, which is what the Jehovah's Witnesses use, comes from some of the same manuscripts that the ESV and NIV and most of the New Versions come from. When I say most, let's just go ahead and say all I don't know of any that don't come from these manuscripts. The Vatican, Vaticanis, that's from the Vatican.

All right, that's the main one that these things come from. And Jehovah's Witnesses are not proatholic, but their text in their Bible is proatholic. We talk about this more on the other channel, 1611 defense, but there you go.

Just want to give you that snippet. Now, what about another place where Jesus is said to have been from everlasting? Let's go to John chapter 8.

And this is a good one here. I mean, it's a good one. They're all good.

John chapter 8 and look at verse 56. So Jesus is going at it here. He's going back and forth with the Jews.

And in verse 56, your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. This is Jesus talking. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day.

and he saw it and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet 50 years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am.

Now, what's the big deal about that? Well, go to Exodus chapter 3 and we'll see what Jesus was talking about when he said, "I am. " Exodus, that's the second book in the Bible.

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Exodus, chapter 3, and look at verse 14 here. Bible says, "And God said unto Moses. " So Moses here, he's wanting to know what to say to Israel when he comes to him.

And here's what the Lord says. I'll read verse 13. And Moses said unto God, "Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, the God of your fathers has sent me unto you, and [clears throat] they say unto me, and they shall say to me, what is his name?

What shall I say unto them? " And God said unto Moses, I am that I am. And he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I am hast sent me unto you.

That was God saying that. We know God's always been and he's always going to be. He's eternal.

And you know what Jesus said in John chapter 8? Jesus said unto them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am. " The Jews picked it up.

They knew exactly what he was talking about. Look at the next verse. Then took they up stones to cast at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Why would they cast stones at him? Well, because he made himself God. The thing about it is Jesus is God.

No matter what the Bormans, Jehovah's Witnesses, or Muslims say, it's clear. So, how did the Jehovah's Witnesses get around this one? Well, they changed the text like they do in most of the places, if not all of them.

So, what they say here, and let me grab this. I have a 2013 edition of the New World Translation and it is corrupt like the ones before them. So, John chapter 8 and if uh if you want to see something interesting, you ought to try reading the first part of John 8 in the New World Translation in the 2013 edition.

It's not there. It picks up with verse 12. It leaves off um at uh John 7:53 through John 8:11 just takes us plum out and there's more that could be said about that, but let's get back on the back on the trail here.

So John 8 Jesus said verse 58 Jesus said to them most truly I say to you before Abraham came into existence I have been. This is not the word of God. He said before Abraham was I am.

And it says I have been. There's there's no connection there with Exodus chapter 3. If you look in the in the the addition I have here has cross references in the middle and it has a E there beset near I have been right after been and Exodus 3:14 is not one of them.

It's not one of the cross references. Let's see what it says. Exodus 3:14 says, this is in the New World Translation.

3:14 of Exodus says, "And God said to Moses, I will become what I choose to become. " And he added, "This is what you are to say to the Israelites, I will become has sent me to you. I will become not.

" So, first of all, when it says, "I am that I am. " Every letter of the words is capitalized. Here is just the first but it says I will become not I am.

Jesus Christ is he's always been and he was and he was he is presently all the time. This says I will become. But just wait.

If you take this piece of garbage here and you take it up to a Jehovah's Witness and you tell them and you ask them in John 8, if you say Jesus said to them, most truly I say unto you before Abraham came into existence, I have been. I have been. And then in Exodus 3:14, it says, I will become.

I wonder if they would make the connection that there's possibly a connection there because there's it's it's wrong and it's untruthful. It's not I will become and I have been uh it's I am. But even in their pitiful translation there is a connection here between they said Jehovah in Exodus chapter 3 verse 15.

It said Jehovah between Jehovah and Jesus Christ in the New World Translation. So you can take a New World translation and show them the connection between Jehovah in Exodus 3:14 and Jesus Christ in John 8:58. Even with this pile of garbage, there's evidence there.

It's false evidence because it's not right to begin with. If they have the real thing, it would be a perfect match. One of the places that they go to is Revelation 3 and verse 14 to say that Jesus has not always been.

Let's go there. Revelation chapter 3 and look at verse 14. The Bible says, "And unto the angel of the church of the leadyans, right, these things sayeth the amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.

" Now, this is in the King James Bible. So, we're reading the words of truth here, not words of air like in the New World Translation. It says the beginning of the creation of God.

It didn't say the beginning of the creation by God. Jesus Christ is the beginning of the creation of God. He's where it starts.

We know that from John chapter 1. In the beginning was the word, capital W. And the word was with God.

Oh, distinction there. And the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

See how there's a distinction in John 1:2 and John 1:1. Yet he was God in Genesis in John 1:1. And then verse three, all things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made.

He's the beginning of the creation of God. It didn't say he was created by God. Now, let's look at another cross reference.

Go to Colossians. This is a good one here. Colossians and let's look at verse 15.

Colossians 1:15 talking about Jesus Christ. It says in verse 13, "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son, in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins, who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. For by him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.

All things were created by him and for him and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. All right, remember Revelation 3:14 says he's the beginning of the creation of God. Look at verse 18.

And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence. He's the beginning. That's what it says in Colossians 1:18.

And he is the and he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning. Jesus Christ is the beginning of the creation of God. Go back to Revelation and look at verse chapter 1.

Revelation 1 and look at verse 8. I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the ending. Does that mean Jesus Christ has an end?

He's the ending. Well, if Jesus Christ never has an end, and we all know that, why would we think he had a beginning when it says he is the beginning, the be he's the beginning, the beginning and the ending, sayeth the Lord, which is, let's see, I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the ending. There you go.

Rest of the verse says, sayaith the Lord, which is and which was and which is to come, the Almighty. Uh take a look at verse 11 of Revelation 1. Saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.

" You want to see another one, go to Revelation chapter 21. I believe it's Revelation 22. Actually, it is.

Look at verse 13. Revelation 22:13. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Jesus Christ is never going to have an ending, but he is the ending. He's always been, but he's the first. That's what it is.

That's what the Bible teaches. So Jesus Christ was not created. That's no proof, no help there, Mr Jehovah's Witness.

Jesus Christ is the beginning of the creation of God. That does not mean he was created by God. It means he's the beginning of the creation of God.

All God's creation there with this earth and all it starts with Jesus Christ. He's the beginning of the creation of God. What's another one of their quote unquote proof texts?

That first one just with some cross references takes care of that. If you just cross reference in a King James Bible, it'll correct error. It's well, if you rightly divide it, that is.

Okay. And that one is just common sense. Don't have to be a scholar to figure that one out.

The next reference they give for perverting this doctrine that Jesus Christ has always been saying that he was created is John chapter 1 and verse 18. Now we could have a whole thing and I may at some point have a whole thing on John 1:18 in the New World Translation also. It'll read very similar to this in the Legacy Standard Bible and the New American Standard of 1995.

John chapter 1 and look at verse 18. I'll read it in the King James Bible first. Let me get there.

John 1 18. No man hath seen God at any time. the only begotten son which is in the bosom of the father.

He hath declared him. It's very clear that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son. When was he begotten?

Well, when Mary be when he was begotten of the Holy Ghost with Mary. He had a starting time on planet earth as a man, but he's always been. It's clear from here that he's the only begotten son.

And we know when he was begotten is when he was begotten by the Holy Ghost with Mary. Now, in order for the Jehovah's Witnesses to prove their doctrine, they have to go to, and this is crazy, but the Legacy Standard Bible reads very similar to this as well as the New American Standard of 1995. But let me read you what it says in John 1:18 here.

And this was a big deal back at the Council of Na. This thing has been hashed out long time before we came along. John chapter 1 verse 18.

No man has seen God at any time. The only begotten God who is at the father's side is the one who has explaining. That's not funny.

But anyway, there's some comedy because it's so different from the truth. It makes it funny. Now look what it says.

The only begotten God. That's a lowercase G in the New World Translation. Only begotten God.

So God was begotten. You see, Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. He's 100% man.

He's 100% God. The man Christ Jesus. He was the son of God.

He's the son of God. And he's the son of man. He's got both titles.

And here it says only begotten God. It's lowercase G in the New World Translation. So it makes Jesus like a demigod, a lower God, as if there's one.

He's little G God. We know that the Bible says there's uh God's many and Lord's many little G, but to us there, you know, there's not but one big G God. So in the New World Translation, this is one of their proof texts here that Jesus Christ was created and that he had a beginning because he's a lowercase G God in their perversion of scripture.

And I'm just going to leave it there with that. There's a lot that could be said about John 1:18 in the New World Translation and in the Legacy Standard Bible. So, at the end of the day, if you don't have a King James Bible, get you one, read it, and believe it.

Whether or not you understand it, God understands it. And if you know the creator, if you know Jesus Christ, if you know the author of the scriptures, he can show you things that man will corrupt. And he doesn't show us everything at one time.

It's not like somebody gets saved and then just understands everything like some kind of being in initiated into the mysteries or some foolishness like that withnosticism or some craziness like that. God gives us he's g he gives little by little. That's how we learn.

And he'll do that with somebody that believes his words. At least that's how he does it. So, just get you a King James Bible.

Read it and believe it. And it'll The Lord straightens out false doctrine with his words rightly divided. It's very simple.
