the world of art can be more Sinister than you think ever since it was stolen in 1911 and the media of the day seized on the story from UFOs to occult skulls hidden in paintings try to make a little bit better and that's just my update on the painting deep secrets that took ages to unveil these paintings hide what no one should have seen and a ghostly figure's features extend in agony today we are going to look at the most astonishing Secrets found in famous artworks are you ready let's get started then number 25 four
the secrets of Mona Lisa the infamous painting of the Mona Lisa hides a lot of Secrets some are too obvious but the rest are just plain scary and nowhere are Leonardo's extraordinary gifts more clearly Illustrated than in his most famous painting of all the Mona Lisa we aren't talking about her tantalizing gaze that follows you across the room no the Mona Lisa painting has a bigger secret a set of secret symbols that are only visible when you bring out the magnifying glass here's what you'll find the right ey of the Mona Lisa contains the letters
LV while the arch of the bridge at the back consists of the number 72 some experts argue that it could be an l and a two scientifically illustrates the complex layering technique Leonardo uses called Fato the debate is not just limited to the kinds of symbols found though a small group thinks that the artist was just trying to put down his initials but that doesn't explain the numbers others believe that he is hiding a secret code in the painting apart from this mystery another secret was unraveled Trav during research through x-ray scientists found a hidden
portrait under the Mona Lisa but it had a different face this led a lot of historians to believe that maybe the world has been celebrating the wrong Mona Lisa for decades like And subscribe right now and you'll have amazing luck for the rest of the week wait there's more it was only recently found that scientists stumbled Upon A striking resemblance between the Mona Lisa and the Maestro himself so did Leonardo da Vinci disguise himself under the Mona Lisa painting that's a decade long question that's itching to be answered along with all the other Mona Lisa
Mysteries number 23 the secret skull some paintings hide messages While others hide skulls this is the the ambassadors by Hans Hine the younger and it creates the perfect optical illusion so in 1890 we were able to raise enough money with some very generous gifts to acquire this painting if you take a closer look you'll find the strange blob on the floor rather odd that's because you're looking at it wrong if you change your angle you'll realize that it is a massive skull sprawled on the Mosaic floor the idea is just as morbid as the symbol
though apparently the artist wanted to remind the viewers that death is always around the corner that's just creepy isn't it but is that really what the artist wanted to show I guess we can only Ponder number 22 the other version it is very rare for a second version of a painting to become famous unless it is this masterpiece this is the cafe Terrace at Night painting by Van goou this is van Ang Go's first attempt at rendering the effects of the night sky and it hides its Secret in plain sight experts believe that this artwork
is a modern version of The Last Supper it is not just a wild claim you too can spot all the clues in the painting for starters there are 12 people sitting at the table in the cafe they are all surrounded around a man who has long hair to make matters more mysterious the long-haired figure is standing right in front of what looks like a cross plus there's another ghostly figure who's passing by the doorway many think it is Judas if van go had planned on hiding this portrait in the painting why did he do it
that remains a riddle to this day number 21 the hidden free mason symbol it is no surprise that Mozart was a mason in the later years of his life at least that's what the people believe but there's more to the story than you think while there have been many portraits of the artist there is one that stands out from the crowd the portrait of a Young Mozart with his hand in his pocket certainly participated George Washington as we know was a Freemason in France we certainly the Freemasons played an important part the symbolism behind this
painting has long been debated a lot of people think that it is the same gestures that members of the Freemasonry and the Illuminati use but the theory was never proven it doesn't help that an anonymous artist sent the painting were they trying to tell the world something sadly that's a question that only the artist can answer number 20 the circle of skull skulls were a popular choice in Old paintings but this one may have a pretty dark secret this is the portrait by Henry Gillard Glendon called Dr John D performing an experiment before Queen Elizabeth
I's John D was a close adviser of the queen but many believe that he was much more than that a spy he supposedly went by the name 07 and Spilled the secrets of European powers to the Queen the painting shows D doing a magical ceremony for the queen and her guests but a lot of people think that he was performing some form of a ritual talking to the dead and the supernatural now that theory was never proven but only recently scientists stumbled upon a strange Discovery when they ran an x-ray on this artwork they found
a circle of skulls hiding underneath the painting was it to show D's secret spy life was it symbolism to tell that D was more than just a magician or did it expose a hidden murder we can only guess number 19 predicting the future ever seen an artist who predicted his own future this is the screen painted by Edvard Munch The Man painted two different versions of this famous artwork the first one in 1893 and the other in 1895 but there's only one that recently became famous the scream was inspired by a moment that overwhelmed monk
with an acute sense of Anguish apparently scientists noted a tiny inscription on the painting written by the artist himself it says can only have been painted by a Madman tests were run on the barely visible inscription and there was no doubt that it was Munch's handwriting but that's not the strange part years later in 198 the artist had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized due due to his condition was the artist looking into his own future or is it a mere coincidence number 18 the human brain the creation of Adam is a famous artwork by
Michelangelo you must have seen it in the cine Chapel ceiling but you probably missed out on seeing this hidden message that mangelo painted in the fabric behind God there's god with a bit of sort of swaggy stuff behind him the painting shows God giving Adam the spark of Life researchers couldn't help but notice that God seems to be sitting on what looks like a human brain experts could even see a small pituitary gland in the painting is it possible that the painter was trying to portray God giving intellect to Adam indeed it was the Divine
gift he had talked about multiple times in his sonnets but then there's this other Theory some people think that it looks like a uterus more than the human brain even if it is why would he draw any of these organ what did he want to show what do you think number 17 the trapped man scientists found a secret man in this painting that remains a mystery to this day the bacus is a painting by Caravaggio made in the late 16th century but what makes it truly captivating is the tiny figure hiding in the caraffe of
wine it already showcases remarkable technical qualities the man appears to be trapped inside the kff you can spot the curly-haired young man peeking out of the kff with his arm pointing at the canvas this Last Detail has led experts to believe that the unknown man might just be carajo at a young age what do you think number 16 the mysterious Pearl a painting of a person whose identity remains a mystery to this day this is The Girl With a Pearl Earring painted by Johannes verir in 1665 but what baffles locals and experts alike is who
is this mystery girl was it the artist's wife maid or daughter the question continues to riddle the scientists but they are sure of one thing in the painting and that's the fact that the Pearl isn't real and the Pearl itself a symbol of wealth is actually an exaggeration apparently pearls aren't this big and do not reflect light the way it does in the painting that's not all scientists found another secret hiding underneath the layers of the original painting the mystery girl has eyelashes too but they aren't visible in the painting I wonder if the mystery
girl's identity might be somewhere under the painting number 15 the strange cloud in the sky believe it or not this 16th century old painting has the shape of what looks like a UFO called The Miracle of the snow the painting was created by masolino De panal but it isn't as simple as it looks the artwork shows the found of the Roman Basilica Santa Maria major It is believed that the Virgin Mary chose the site herself but when you look closely at the painting the fleet of clouds looks a lot like alien spaceships they all have
a weird black color and seem to be descending upwards rather than going downward was the painter trying to tell that the humans met aliens a long time ago number 14 the flying saucers at the back here's another painting that's bound to leave you with your mouth wide open the painting shows the scene set for the crucifixion of Jesus what looks like a ceremony has all the people gathered around the cross but there's one odd entry the mysterious saucer-shaped objects at the back for the congregation in the church alter pieces offered a tangible visual Focus while
some people are out there calling it merely symbolism UFO enthusiasts don't agree they are convinced that it is the UFOs that are glowing in the sky they have these weird tentacles stretching out of their bodies which seems rather odd to be put into such a scene what do you think they are UFOs number 13 the alien type machine look at this painting and tell me you don't see what I see the painting is called the Madonna with st giovano by Domenico Giro but it has a different name among the locals Madonna DFO apparently there is
a monster type saucer flying in the sky right above Mary's shoulder you can also spot a man with his dog standing on the ground and pointing at the sky other people instantly just by touching them I mean that is both holy and alien powers that is just extraordinary isn't it proving that it is indeed a flying machine a wide speculation around this painting is that Mary has her back to the UFO for a reason she is protecting them from the incoming saucer since they might not be the only Celestial beings in the picture number 12
the man in the mirror the last painting of man was both a puzzling and a mysterious art called the bar at Foley berer man painted this a year before he died but he made sure he left a lot of tantalizing Clues behind so people could keep coming back to the painting tiny green slippers at the top of the frame the mismatch of both the women's postures although it is the same woman and the puzzling expression of the woman in the front are all troubling Clues but one thing that stands out from the picture is the
man in the mirror there's also quite shadowy figure of a gentleman in the reflection he's not in the foreground why is he only in the reflection is he also hidden somewhere in the crowd but wait there's more scientists found a hidden portrait underneath the original painting man initially chose a different position for for the woman what made him change his mind all these questions but no answers number 11 the signal from the sky Carlo crell did a remarkable job in showing the scenes of the enunciation but he added his own little twist to it if
you look closely at the anunciation with St idus Mary's head is bowing down as she gets some sort of a signal from the Extraterrestrial vehicle the story suggests that Gabriel brought the news to Mary that she would soon bear the Messiah but in the painting it is like she's getting the news from the sky whether or not Gabriel is in the scene is unclear but the way that it is painted it looks like the kind of beam that's famous in Alien Abduction theory that statement alone has caused a stir on the internet with most people
teaming up to claim that it is indeed a UFO do you agree or do you think it is mere symbolism number 10 the Holy Grail finding the Holy Grail has become sort of a lifelong mission for some people but they might not have to look that far the Last Supper is a masterpiece by Da Vinci but it hides more than you know for starters you'll notice that there are no Halos in this version of The Last Supper almost all of the other versions have Halos at the top of the painting experts believe that it is
because Da Vinci didn't think Christ was God unlike popular if that's controversial take a look at the next part of this painting as per the historian sir Lee tbing the location of the Holy Grail is encoded in this painting when that clue slipped the interview one technician came forward and claimed that the painting had a set of musical notes and St John the youngest disciple is always shown as a youthful feminine looking figure then another guy came and showed the world that the technician might have been on to something each load of the bread turns
into a musical note and a 40-second composition was created from those Clues the composition hasn't been released yet but a lot of experts believe that this theory is quite convincing what's crazy is how this secret has been guarded for so long at least that's what the people believe do you think the officials already figured out the code and the location of the Holy Grail number nine the Extraterrestrial entry this this one is pretty interesting or downright controversial if you ask me known as the baptism of church painting this AR piece has a pretty obvious secret
you can find the strange floating device at the top of the painting sending a beamlike light toward the man in the center the painting is from the early 18th century and clearly shows what looks like the typical image of a UFO whether or not you want to take this painting to change your beliefs is a different debate but the artist knew what he was doing when he decided to show his belief to the world what do you make of the bizarre entrance of a supposed UFO number eight the circular opening what you might miss in
this painting is hidden in plain sight this is the Adoration of the Christ painting you see that circular opening in the sky some people interpret it as a gateway to Heaven although the artist outdid himself by describing the painting in detail in the year 1472 he became a student of florentine painter Sandro boticelli he did leave out a few details for the viewer like who is this strange figure at the back experts cannot seem to connect him to any known person ity this has led people to believe that he may be from space or the
heavens what do you think number seven the Extraterrestrial help this painting screams extraterrestrial involvement and you won't be able to unsee it once you see it the painting is called the Triumph of death by Peter bugal the Elder it is a large art piece and has a lot of confusing detail but people believe that it was done to shift the focus away from the tiny Clues left behind in the painting when you take a closer look you will find strange objects flying in the sky eye and skeletal figures while one half of the people think
that they relate to UFOs the other half believes that it has something to do with Supernatural Powers which side would you pick and why number six the strange stars the star of Bethlehem is an event painted by many artists but what they all have in common are these strange stars in the sky from the many theories of the actual event it is believed that some form of Supernatural power led the Magi around the masterfulness of being able to paint a sheen on Fab fabric is a unique ability of the painter others called it a flying
saucer and then there are some people who call the whole thing a myth the debate has been going on for years and the blame goes to the idea that the star didn't move the way it should that belief has been duplicated in these paintings where the stars are supposedly thought of as UFOs do you agree with the artists number five a murder mystery can you imagine an artist being so gutsy that he paints his crime scene in a frame meet carajo the one who got away with a Min crime at least that's what the world
thinks 2 years before the painting was released the man fled his home and went to Malta there he was commissioned to create this masterpiece but what people didn't notice was the tiny signature near St John's blood people think that he signed in blood to confess to the murder of a lad named ruio tomasoni in 166 kavaj employs his signature Kos skuro technique to heighten the tension others believe that the man did not just confess but also showed what he did through the painted The Mysterious part is that this painting is probably the only art piece
that he has signed before this tiny tidbit has only fueled the gossip and rumored the idea is that carajo committed murder right when he fled the country he escaped to Malta before anyone could catch him once there his guilty conscience started bubbling up and he ended up admitting to his crime in secret the problem is that the tiny signature was not found until centuries later so there is no way to know if carajo actually got away with murder or was he just trying to be funny what do you think number four the odd art piece
this sculpture is a pretty bizarre art piece on our list but just as puzzling as the rest the David sculpture was carved and created by none other than Michelangelo buano but the artist decided to add a sling to his left hand did he assume that the famous biblical figure was a lefty on his own or did he get this info from somewhere if he did assume it why but wait there's more apparently the right hand is a bit bigger and stronger than the left hand is David cutting off his head and holding it up to
the cheering crowd was it done on purpose historians think that it was meant to show that David is holding another weapon this is why his veins pop out quite visibly showing his tight grip on the weapon this may be a few Secrets hiding in the sculpture but they remain unanswered nobody knows what went through the artist's mind when he sculpted this master not only that but people still don't know how he created the entire statue number three the murder plot talking about murders and paintings seems to be a fashionable Trend in history but it is
only centuries later that experts caught the criminals in their acts the night watch is a famous painting by rembrand the painting never got as much attention as when a movie director decided to unravel the mystery hiding in the art he claimed that Rembrandt left out clues for the murder dead center right up towards the top a very very distinctive snub nose a little round inquiring slightly cheeky eye and pointed out nearly 20 of these hints for the viewers the idea is that when Rembrandt was creating the SC sketch the head of the militia was killed
the murder was pretty sus and the artist took it upon himself to reveal what happened he found out that there were people in the militia who had a hand in this dark crime he decided to expose them all through the painting and even slipped out a few other of their crime when the painting was released it led to the downfall of the artist now a lot of people call this Theory garbage but the director argues back with a few questions of his own one of the major things he points out is the plume of smoke
behind the Soldier's hat it looks as if he was barely missed by a bullet the director claims that this should immediately tip off the viewers the director isn't just talking from his heart he put a lot of time into studying the painting and using x-rays to find these small Clues do you believe him number two the unknown man this Painting came out centuries ago but only recently scientists found a strange detail hiding in the art peie the painting is called the Blue Room it was created by the big man Picasso but in 2016 scientists stumbled
upon a strange fine underneath the painting experts found two unknown figures hiding in plain sight but experts now know more about the man who went on to become one of the 20th Century's most influential artists one of them was a woman bathing and the other figure was a bearded man wearing a jacket and a bow tie his face is resting in his hands and he seems to be wearing three rings on his fingers Picasso was not the kind of person to draw over on canvases plus it remains unclear who are these figures and why they
were chosen to be kept underneath the painting research is still ongoing but do you have any theories number one the room of mystery Yan van ik created the arnoldi portrait in the early 15th century but its Secrets continue to baffle scientists even today the most obvious riddle is the identities of the people in the painting if you look closely you can see four people in the mirror instead of two in the front who are they most people agree that this is an Italian Merchant Giovani dicola arnolfini and his wife but turns out that the actual
marriage of the couple took place years after the artist's death so cannot be them right the next mystery pertains to the people in the mirror in the back who are they why are they huddled together like that even the presence of the dog in the painting is questioned as to why it was included no one is certain what this painting represents who these people are and why was this painting even created it is an enigma still confusing critics to date That's all folks on the hidden messages cases and juicy details left out by the famous
