one thing i've really been trying to work through recently is realizing that i'm inherently valuable and this is something that's really really hard to do in the society and i think we all kind of know why we live in this capitalist society where we're taught from a very young age that in order to be worthy of success of money of love that we have to prove our worthiness time and time again from a young age we're placed in school we're working to get the best grades possible and with good grades we're rewarded with happy parents
with happy teachers with people treating us better and those who don't follow those rules and abide by that they're placed in a group that is considered lesser than and constantly as we get older as we get through college and as we work for a job again we're constantly having to prove our worthiness through the accolades that we're taught are important we never really get to ask ourselves whether or not we think they're important we're just told this is important you're gonna be in school for eight hours a day learning about a subject it doesn't matter
if you care about it or not and you have to work hard in order to get a good grade in order to have a good life in order to have enough money you have to follow the rules and you have to constantly again prove your worthiness and if you guys watch any of my videos you guys know i'm on a very long journey of trying to unlearn this of trying to realize that i myself am worthy of abundance of success of love and really of safety and security without having to prove that without having to
follow anyone's rules without having to show up to a nine to five every single day and if i'm being completely transparent i'm really really struggling with that journey even now as i am getting paid to be myself full time i still see myself as a product i still see myself as a brand and i feel like people who eventually get to this point where they've escaped the nine to five although you're seeing their lives and they have a lot of freedom and it's amazing and i'm more than grateful don't get me wrong i wouldn't trade
this for the world i'm really happy where i'm at but i think a lot of people are aspiring to get to this position thinking it's going to heal that problem that again we're all kind of trained to think that we're not inherently worthy when in reality it's not we've built a society that's a never-ending cycle of having to prove ourself having to prove our worthiness through productivity through our accolades and our accomplishments and through our material things every single day no matter where you are whether you are working for yourself or you're working for someone
else or maybe you're in school you probably wake up with this instant dread this instant feeling of who am i and what i'm what am i going to contribute to the world today not in order to you know spread love and spread happiness and spread joy in the world but in order to be safe in order to be secure in order to pay my bills in order to be able to afford maybe a nice vacation every now and then right you're constantly thinking what can i do to secure my safety in this world that tells
me that i am not inherently worthy of a good happy life and it's exhausting like it's super exhausting and really frustrating when you sit down and think about it it's something that for me i've been angry at for a really long time like why do we live in a society that's built like this when all of us are starting to see this truth it seems like more and more people are starting to wake up to it seems like more and more people are starting to realize that we don't really want to live like this anymore
but honestly i don't think a lot of people see how much their own way of thinking how much their own perception of themselves reflects this outside world and granted that's only fair we're conditioned to think this way from a young age but i feel like what tends to happen i feel like what i personally did on this journey is i was chasing success i was chasing freedom from this way of thinking by getting out of the 9 to 5 by escaping the external circumstances that we feel like lock us in this mindset when in reality
again i can tell you from experience that no matter what you do externally to try to escape those circumstances internally mentally emotionally you're still locked into this way of thinking i honestly think the only way to truly escape this way of thinking escape that feeling of dread that you feel every single morning and in order to truly be happy you have to go within no matter what your external circumstance looks like whether you're in school right now or maybe you're working nine to five or if you're working for yourself no amount of money that you
make no amount of time that you win back for yourself is going to give you happiness i think what most of us are truly seeking is a feeling of freedom within ourselves i think what most of us truly want every single day is to wake up without that feeling of dread of oh no how can i prove my worthiness again today i think what most of us want truly is a relationship with something bigger than ourselves that allows us to see that we just by being ourselves just by being here are inherently worthy and valuable
and i think that our real role here now that most of us are starting to wake up to this reality while you're working to maybe escape the nine to five while you're working to get your freedom and maybe work for yourself you also need to sit back and really ask yourself truly are you going to be more worthy once you escape your nine to five or are you already worthy of happiness of joy of love every single day i had this burning thing within me every single day when i woke up and i was working
for amazon that i couldn't possibly be happy until i quit my job and now that i'm here it's like what's next something else has to make me happier i have to prove now that i'm worthy of being here no matter what your external circumstance looks like even if you're unhappy as could be at your job even if you're drained and you're tired and you don't have a lot of time trust me i get it i've been there i've worked three jobs while barely being able to afford my rent at this college apartment that i can
literally see across the city right now and now i'm here and regardless i still felt the same way every single day and i can tell you that even when you're in that position even when you feel like you don't even when you feel like your time is not your own you have the ability to find the purest joy and love within you right now you are worthy of abundance and success and joy no external thing has to happen or change for you to prove that you don't have to do anything else like if if you've
never heard this or felt this before if no one's ever told you this i want you to know right now that you sitting here right now there's nothing more that you have to do to prove to the world that you are worthy of whatever it is that you want let go of all of these past notions and beliefs that you have been taught and trained to believe that you have to do anything more to prove to the world that you are worthy of happiness there might be things that you want and there might be things
that you want to change about your life right now and that's totally fine like do that work towards it change those external things but more than anything as you're doing that as you're working towards those goals i really really encourage you to go inward first ask yourself in what ways has society taught you that you are not inherently worthy metabolism has convinced you that you just need to work a little bit harder before you can be happy before you can deserve abundance before you can deserve luxury like really really dig within and figure that out
and heal from it because we're all we're all currently healing and i really think in order for society to change in order for us to live in a world where we don't have to be brainwashed from a young age in order to make other people richer in a world where more people have access to everything that they want i really truly believe that we first have to do this internal work because while you're working to free yourself and quit your own nine to five and all these things again you're still gonna have this feeling within
you that you are not worthy and therefore other people are not worthy until they work hard enough to get to wherever it is that they want to be but in reality it's not true we all deserve abundance we all deserve success and we live in a world even though we've been convinced that we don't we live in a world that has enough resources for us all to live our lives to the fullest this is just more than anything a reminder to go within to look at yourself and look at your own feelings of self-worth and
really ask yourself where you're struggling to feel like you're worthy of whatever it is that you that you want is that socially is that in romantic relationships is that when it comes to your relationship with money we see it everywhere we see this feeling of again i am not inherently valuable i first have to prove that before i can deserve x y and z when in reality all those things are not true you are inherently worthy you are inherently valuable and you are inherently deserving of the life that you want without having to do anything
else whether you have busted your ass today and gotten a million things done off your to-do list or if you just slept all day and you're maybe still in bed just chilling you're worthy of that don't let society convince you otherwise don't let capitalism convince you otherwise a day longer so hopefully this was a good video i don't know what called me to sit down and record this i just kind of felt the need to talk about it because maybe i needed it myself i don't know but let me know in the comments down below
if you if this resonated with you in any way i really really appreciate you guys for being here and being on this journey of growth and of love and just learning with me and unlearning and yeah i love you guys so much and i hope you guys are having an amazing week i'll see you guys in the next one bye [Music] [Music]
