if you want to become Christian how do you do it well it's not by being a good person or by following all the rules and definitely not by using Christianity as an online aesthetic you become Christian by having faith in Jesus Christ that makes you inwardly Christian and baptism makes you outwardly Christian so faith has three parts knowing believing and trusting trust is what really matters but you can't trust in something you don't believe and you can't believe in something you don't know about Step One is learning about Jesus a good way to do this
is to read the gospels which are the books of the Bible that tell the story of Jesus's life on Earth and to read the nyine Creed which is a short little thing the early church wrote to summarize Christianity step two is believing that it's all true believing all the things about Jesus's life especially that he really died and rose again from the dead and step three is trusting in Jesus for that you need to realize that you actually need help because your life is actually a disaster you are desperately sinful and there is nothing you
can do to save yourself and your Only Hope of forgiveness and eternal life is Jesus you need to have all three things for it to count as Faith a lot of religion Scholars are experts on Christianity so they know who Jesus is but they don't believe in him or trust him a lot of Heretics think they believe in Jesus but they're completely wrong about Jesus so they don't actually know who he is and the Bible says even the demons believe that Jesus is who he says he is but they obviously don't trust in Jesus only
Christians have all three so if you have all this then congrats you're inwardly Christian and if you were to get hit by a bus today you would go to heaven but chances are that's not going to happen so what should you do next luckily you don't need to just wait around until you die and go to heaven because the job of Christians is to spread the Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth like Jesus said and the church is an outpost of Heaven on Earth where you experience Jesus in word and Sacrament and baptism is how
you join the church because baptism is citizenship in God's Kingdom so you can be a soul for God's Army
