prophecies yet to be fulfilled the Bible is a history book but it is unlike any other history book available in any public library the Bible is a book full of predictions its Pages contain 735 predictions about the future a prediction can be found in one quarter of the Bible's chapters from beginning to end it is basically a prophetic text though some books focus more on predictions than and others 596 of the 735 predictions have indeed occurred and have literally come true according to the scripture prediction so 81% of all Bible prophecies have already come true
and some of those prophecies were made centuries before the case it doesn't take much confidence to believe that the remaining 19% will happen as well that's a very high score the Bible has proved 100% right for every prediction that could have been fulfilled by now of the rest most of them are concerned with the actual return of Jesus and what follows after that how many of these predictions remain to come true before Jesus returns the answer is about 20 and we are watching to see those happen first before we look for the Lord's return so
what what are the next prophecies in the Bible what are the next prophecies according to the Bible number one the revelation of the final Antichrist how can we identify the Antichrist according to the Bible during the tribulation a man known as the Antichrist will emerge with the aim of uniting the world under one Authority this Tyrant likened to his father the devil will initially appear as an angel of Light but will eventually reveal his true evil nature through his actions here are answers to questions about this future sign of the Apocalypse who is the Antichrist
the Antichrist is someone who opposes Christ anti can also mean instead of and both meanings apply to this coming World later at the same time he will openly oppose Christ the the Antichrist will do all in his power to live up to his Dreadful moniker as Satan leads the world's forces into the battle of Armageddon he will persecute torture and kill God's people he will become the most tyrannical leader in history surpassing even Caesar although the Bible only mentions the Antichrist by name four times he is referred to many more times under various identities such
as the Beast the little horn and the man of lawlessness the one who brings destruction 2 Thessalonians 2:3 and the Lawless one 2 Thessalonians 2:8 when he comes on the scene people will flock to him like flies do honey and they will do anything he asks who will worship the Antichrist according to revelation 13:8 all who dwell on the earth will worship Him according to Daniel 7:25 the Antichrist is a cult leader he shall speak pompous words against the most high and shall intend to change times and law he will try to exalt himself to
God's level and speak from there number two the revelation of the two witnesses the two witnesses a portrayal of of two people who will Aid in carrying out the work that God has for them to do during the time of the tribulation can be found in Revelation 11 and I will give power to my two witnesses and they will be clothed in burlap and will prophesy during those 1,260 days these two prophets or the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of all the Earth if anyone tries to harm them
fire flashes from their mouths and consumes their enemies this is how anyone who tries to harm them Must Die Revelation 11: 3-5 at the beginning of the church age John on Patmos is the prophet at the end there will be two witnesses who will prophesy in the city of Jerusalem there is a sense of impending disaster in the spectacular appearance of these two the verse reads my two witnesses the nature of their Ministry is prophetic as evidenced by the fact that they will prophesy they preach and display repentance as seen by their wearing sackcloth and
they have an effective ministry as we read I will give power the two witnesses indeed served with power such power in fact that they can witness for 1,200 60 days despite the world's antagonism we also read and if anyone wants to harm them fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies God has given the two witnesses special protection similar to Elijah the two witnesses in the Book of Revelation will have miraculous powers to accompany their message and no one will be able to stop them in their work the two witnesses will will have miraculous
power but they will be extinguished when their testimony is concluded the Wicked World Will Rejoice allowing the bodies of the Fallen prophets to lie in the streets their bodies will lie in the streets for just over 3 days while the transnational Mass tormented in conscience by their expressions glow it over and celebrate their removal when the two are resurrected in full view of everyone the belief will turn to Terror their Ascension will be triggered by a loud voice from Heaven saying come up here the Reviving of the two witnesses Revelation 11: 11-12 but after 3
and 1 half days God breathed life into them and they stood up Terror struck all who were staring at them then a loud voice from Heaven called to the two Prophets come up here and they Rose to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched because the Earth was Unworthy of these two witnesses God simply summoned them and they ascended to heaven in a cloud we read the phrase come up here the Earth was not worthy of these two witnesses so God simply called them home and they ascended to heaven in a cloud it is
clear that the masses always failed to listen to the prophets of God in the same hour there was a great earthquake an earthquake brings judgment and inspires many to praise God but it remains to be seen whether this will result in genuine repentance leading to Salvation there are three primary theories on the identity of the two witnesses in Revelation number one Moses and Elijah Moses witnessed more miracles than Abraham Isaac and Jacob combined with several Miracles occurring one after another as God interceded on behalf of his people the witnesses will have the power to convert
water into blood replicating one of moses' most famous Miracles also giving strength to this view is that Moses and Elijah both appeared with Jesus at the Transfiguration revelation 11: 5 if anyone tries to harm them fire flashes from their mouths and consumes their enemies this is how anyone who tries to harm them Must Die some believe Elijah is one of the witnesses because his ministry appears similar to these two witnesses in addition Jewish tradition anticipates the return of Moses and Elijah this is based on the prediction of Elijah's coming in Malachi 4:5 as well as
God's promise to raise a prophet like Moses which some Jews think requires Moses return number two Enoch and Elijah because of the extraordinary events surrounding each of their deaths Enoch and Elijah are often considered potential candidates for the roles of the two witnesses from what we understand God has only ever brought two people directly to heaven without their first having to go through the process of dying the passage in Hebrews 9: 27 which states that it is destined for all men to die once is cited by supporters of this perspective it would appear that the
fact that Enoch and Elijah have not yet been put to death qualifies them for the role of the two witnesses who will both be put to death once they have completed their respective tasks since neither Enoch nor Elijah died a natural death but were instead carried to heaven and Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27 states that it is appointed for men to die once some people believe that the two witnesses must be Enoch and Elijah they reason that since it is set for men to die once Enoch and Elijah must return to the Earth to die
there they are unknown it is entirely within God's ability to take two Believers considered ordinary and Empower them to accomplish the same signs and wonders as Moses and Elijah did there is nothing in Revelation 11 that compels us to assume a famous identity for the two witnesses there is an intriguing chapter located in Zechariah 4 that provides us with a model for the two witnesses that are mentioned in Revelation in a vision that Zechariah gets he seeks is a lampstand made entirely of solid gold so who are the two Revelation Witnesses the Bible is silent
on the subject all three of the above interpretations are valid and plausible for Christians and Christians should not be dogmatic about the identity of the two witnesses we don't know who these two witnesses are and all attempts to identify them are pure conjecture we must wait see who they are but it does not matter what they do and what is done to them are important things number three the three worst judgments in the Book of Revelation the Seven Seals the seven Bulls the seven Trumpets the three worst judgments in the Book of Revelation number one
seals the Seven Seals revelation 6-6 covers Satan on Earth the Seven Seals are part of God's end of the world judgments Revelation 6: 1-17 details the seals John 5:22 in addition the father judges no one instead he has given the son absolute authority to judge the lamb begins to open the seals in the midst of the worship to him the scroll can be enrolled a little further with each seal open exposing the judgments God has in store for the tribulation time little by bit the first four of the Seven Seals open releasing what are known
as The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse because the judgments appear metaphorically As A Horse and Rider leaving destruction in their path the first seal Revelation chap 6: 1-2 as I watched the lamb broke the first of the Seven Seals on the scroll then I heard one of the four living beings say with a voice like thunder come I looked up and saw a white horse standing there its Rider carried a bow and a crown was placed on his head he rode out to win many battles and gain the victory the the second seal great battle
erupts on the world when the lamb releases the second seal this is represented by a rider on a Blazing Red Horse wielding a huge sword the second Seal's fiery red horse represents chaos following the initial period of peace that precedes the tribulation the world will devolve into violence with people attempting to destroy one another the Third seal famine results from the breakdown of the third of the Seven Seals the fourth seal when the fourth seal is broken John sees a Pale Horse its Rider's name was death and Hades followed close behind him as a result
of the fourth seal 1/4th of the world's population is slain by sword famine and pestilence as well as by the wild beast of the Earth the fifth seal the fifth seal of the scroll indicates those who would be martyred throughout the tribulation for their trust in Christ The Sixth Seal when the Lamb of God breaks the Sixth Seal a great earthquake strikes inflicting massive destruction and extraordinary astronomical phenomenon the Sun goes black the moon changes blood red and the heavens were seeded like a scroll being rolled up and every mountain and Island was displaced from
its place survivors of the Sixth Seal regardless of their social status seek shelter in caverns and cry out to the mountains and rocks for help fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the Wrath of the lamb for the great day of their wrath has come and who can stand an intermission in the Book of Revelation follows the opening of the sixth of the Seven Seals the seventh seal the judgments that lead up to the end of the tribulation are now evident in the scroll and
they are so harsh that all of Heaven Fall silent the seven seal clearly Heralds the start of the next round of judgments as John instantly sees seven angels holding seven trumpets ready to blow an eighth Angel takes a sensor and burns much incense in it indicating God's people's petitions when the seven sealed judgments are completed the second phase of the tribulation which includes the seven trumpet judgments will begin number two the seven trumpets in Revelation 8-9 John describes a Time near the end of the world when angels sound seven trumpets each trumpet Heralds the arrival
of a new round of judgment on the people of the Earth the seven trumpets are described in Revelation chter 8 and 9 as well as in Revelation 11: 15-9 the trumpets represent disasters the judgments heralded by the seven trumpets will occur during the tribulation period at the end of the world seven angels who stand stand In God's Presence are given seven trumpets which will be used to unleash another round of judgments the first trumpet Revelation 8:7 the first Angel blew his trumpet and hail and fire mixed with blood were thrown down on the earth onethird
of the Earth was set on fire onethird of the trees were burned and all the green grass was burned this place destroys onethird of the world's trees and consumes all grass this judgment Bears some resemblance to Egypt's seventh plague the second trumpet in heaven a second Angel sounds a trumpet the result is that something like a huge mountain all Ablaze was thrown into the sea a third of the sea turns to blood a third of the ships sink and a third of ocean life d dies verse 9 this judgment is similar in some ways to
the first plague in Egypt the third trumpet judgment is like the second except it affects the world's freshwater lakes and rivers instead of the oceans specifically a great star blazing like a torch falls from the sky and poisons a third of the water supply Revelation 8: 10 the fourth trumpet following the fourth trumpet judgment John observes a special warning given by an eagle flying through the air this Eagle cries out in a loud voice wo wo wo to the inhabitants of the Earth because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three
Angels Revelation 8 verse 13 for this reason the fifth sixth and seventh trumpets are referred to as the three woes the fifth trumpet the angel of the Abyss serves as the king of these demonic locusts revelations 9:1 in Hebrew he is known as abadin and in Greek he is known as apolon which means Destroyer these beings will be given the authority to torture anyone who does not bear God's seal the pain pain they cause will be so excruciating that sufferers will wish to die abadin apolon is the abyss' ruler and the king of these demonic
locusts the sixth trumpet the sixth trumpet and the second woe Heralds the arrival of yet another demonic horde when the sixth trumpet blows a voice from God's altar requests the release of the Four Angels who are bound at the Great River Euphrates these four evil angels command a supernatural Calvary of thousands upon thousands to slay onethird of humanity the seventh trumpet then the seventh angel blew his trumpet and there were loud voices shouting in heaven the world has now become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ and he will reign forever and ever
revelation 11: 15 the seven trumpet judgments have come to an end all is set for the seven angels with the seven bowls of God's Wrath these angels stand inside the now open Temple ready to step forward and bring the final judgments on Earth Revelation 15 the seven bowls of Revelation the concept of the Bulls often referred to as the bows of Wrath or vials of Wrath is found in the Book of Revelation which is the last book of the Bible basically these bowls are like containers of God's Wrath by this time people had done a
lot of evil especially under a leader called the Antichrist before the seven bowls are poured out there are a series of other events and judgments the first Bowl Revelation chap 16 begins with a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels Revelation 16 verses 1-2 then I heard a mighty voice from the temple say to the seven angels go your ways and poured on the earth the seven bowls containing God's Wrath so the first Angel left the temple and poured out his bowl on the earth and horrible malignant sores broke out on everyone
who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue the second bowl following the first Bowl which brought painful sores upon those Who Bore the mark of the beast the heavens prepared for another momentous act the angel stepped forward in his hand he held a bowl filled with a mysterious liquid Revelation 16:3 recounts the moment then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea and it became like the blood of a corpse and everything in the sea died blood as of a dead man the sea doesn't necessarily become blood but as
of a Corpse's blood it will match the appearance and sickening character of the blood in a dead body the third Bowl the rivers and springs aren't spared here either they too turn into blood water the very essence of life is transformed into a symbol of death Revelation 16:4 then the third Angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the Springs of water and they turned into blood this complete contamination is in contrast to the partial 13d pollution of fresh water shown in Revelation 8 the four fourth blll it was the time for the fourth
blll an angel stepped forward holding the next vessel of judgment the target of this bull was neither the land nor the water but the very Sun that lights up the sky Revelation 16:8 then the fourth Angel poured out his bowl on the sun and it was given power to Scorch Humanity with Raging Fire all of a sudden things started to change the sun which had always been a source of light warmth and sustenance was given a new and terrible power the fifth bow upon the command of the heavens the fifth angel set forth directing his
bll not to the Seas mountains or Rivers but straight onto the very Throne of the Beast the epicenter of wickedness Revelation 16:10 then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the Beast and his kingdom was plunged Into Darkness and people noded their tongues because of the pain of their excruciating anguish and severe torment when this bowl was poured out it made the sun disappear turning the beast's Kingdom completely dark think of a world with no light at all where it's so dark you can't see anything this Darkness wasn't calm or soothing
it felt heavy and made people really uncomfortable the profound Darkness however was just the beginning of their torment the sixth bow in his hand the sixth Angel held a bowl filled with God's judgment it was clear that this vessel had had a Divine Purpose and the angel understood the gravity of its contents the entire Cosmos seemed to come to a standstill in anticipation of what was about to happen Revelation 16:2 then the sixth Angel poured out his bowl on the Great River the Euphrates and its water was dried up so that the way would be
prepared for the coming of the Kings from the East as the water from the big Euphrates River went down would used to block the way now became a clear path the Euphrates River an extended part of the Fertile Crescent area is a significant landmark in scripture and a valuable resource in the Middle East as it runs through turkey Syria and Iraq the seventh Bowl in the heavens the scene was dramatic the seventh angel with the final bowl of God's punishment got ready to pour it out this wasn't just any Bowl it was like the last
chapter of all the judgments that came before it really showed how severe and final God's decision was Revelation 16: 17 then the seventh angel poured out his bold into the air and a loud voice came out of the temple from the Throne of God saying it is done it is all over it is all accomplished it has come the Book of Revelation talks about the world's ending and God's final plan with each Bowl poured out the urgency and gravity of God's judgment become clearer the purpose of the described events Is Not to cause fear but
but rather to emphasize the significant consequences of a society that rejects its creator the story features God's Wrath the judgments serve as a profound testament to God's righteous indignation against the wickedness and rebellion of humanity as each bull is poured out the Earth experiences unprecedented calamities from painful sores afflicting people revelation 16: 2 to the sun scorching the Earth with intense heat Revelation 16:8 number four Jesus meets the Antichrist at the battle of Armageddon what will happen to the Antichrist while he leads the Armageddon battle the citizens will grow increasingly unhappy with the rule of
the global dictator who has failed to keep any of his promises during the battle of Armageddon many regions around the world will start forming their own military units to challenge and overthrow him some of the initial attempts at Rebellion against the Antichrist will be thwarted by him however something happens that prevents him from achieving his aim of destroying Israel and Jerusalem the Bible leaves no doubt as to the source of the news that so enrages the Antichrist Euphrates is one of the greatest rivers in the world with The Disappearance of the Euphrates the Antichrist will
be susceptible to attack by the rulers of the East if the Euphrates disappears their arrival will signal the start of the biggest battle in human history number five the Seal of God and the mark of the beast what is the Seal of God in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament the term seal comes from a Greek word meaning to stamp with a private mark this indicates keeping something hidden or protecting and preserving the sealed object in ancient times seals were commonly used in official context to ensure the authenticity of important documents for example
a Roman Centurion would have fix a seal to a document meant to be reviewed only by his Superior breaking the seal would indicate that the document had been tampered with or read by someone other than the intended recipient making seals an effective way to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information we encounter the Seal of God in the Book of Revelation filled with mysterious visions and messages the book introduces us to the idea of God's seal in a very special and meaningful way the 144 ,000 sealed servants the 144,000 sealed servants is a mix
of mystery symbols and promises about the end times this talks about 144,000 of God's servants being specially Chosen and marked for protection these servants come from the 12 tribes of Israel the act of sealing as described in Revelation signifies a Divine Mark of protection and ownership in Revelation 7:4 it says and I heard how many were marked with the Seal of God 144,000 were sealed from all the tribes of Israel this sealing process is not just a literal marking but symbolizes a spiritual preservation during times of tribulation each of the 12 tribes of Israel contributes
12,000 members signifying a complete and perfection in God's selection the number 144,000 is rich in symbolism in biblical numerology 12 often represents Divine Authority and completeness multiplying 12 tribes by 12,000 members from each tribe suggests a magnified completeness contrast with the mark of the beast in the Book of Revelation the seal of God and of the mark of the beast are powerful marks that represent the eternal battle between good and evil and the stark contrast between God's Divine Authority and the world's Earthly power these symbols have captured the imagination of generations of Believers and non-believers
alike and continue to inspire reflection and contemplation to this day the Seal of God the Seal of god mentioned in Revelation 7: 2-3 represents Divine protection and ownership it's given to God's faithful followers marking them as his own in a spiritual sense unlike a physical mark it symbolizes a deep personal commitment to God and his teachings possessing the Seal of God indicates a spiritual safeguarding during times of trial and judgment it's a sign of being chosen by God reflecting a life lived in accordance with Divine principles the mark of the beast the mark of the
beast talked about in Revelation 13: 16-17 is a sign that shows loyalty to the Beast a bad character against God it means turning away from God and choosing to follow the power of people in the world which is often not right or good the mark of the beast appears in Revelation the mark of the beast is referred to as the mark of the beast because it is brought into being by a man who is referred to as the Beast according to the Bible passages in Revelation 16:2 and chap 19:20 the mark of the beast is
a symbol that distinguishes those who worship the Beast revelation 13: 16-17 he required everyone small and great rich and poor free and slave to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead and no one could buy or sell anything without that Mark which was either the name of the Beast or the number representing his name he causes all to receive a mark a Mark will be given to everyone under the government of the Beast and his assoc associate this Mark is necessary to participate in the economy and those without it will
not be able to buy or sell anything number six the new heaven the Heavenly City the New Jerusalem also known as the Tabernacle of God holy city city of God Celestial city city for square and Heavenly Jerusalem is described as a Heavenly Paradise on Earth in various passages of the Bible including Galatians 4: 26 and Hebrews chapters 1112 and 13 however it is most extensively described in Revelation 21 Revelation 21 portrays an end to recorded history all ages have come and gone the tribulation has passed and the battle of Armageddon has been fought and won
by our Lord Jesus Christ Satan has been chained for the 1,000-year reign of Christ on Earth and a new glorious Temple has been established in Jerusalem the final Rebellion against God has been quashed and Satan has received his just punishment and Eternity in the Lake of Fire the great white Throne judgment has taken place and Mankind has been judged judged the New Jerusalem is a city that is in heaven Revelation 21: 1- 2 then I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth for the first Heaven and the first Earth passed away and there is
no longer any sea and I saw the holy city New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven from God prepared as a bride adorned for her husband we see in Revelation 21 and: 2 that this holy city was made ready and it came down out of Heaven from God and the phrase made ready implies that the New Jerusalem has already been completed by this time John does not say that he saw the New Jerusalem created he claims to have seen the New Jerusalem emerge from the heavens revelation 3:12 calls it again all who are victorious will
become pillars in the temple of my God and they will never have to leave it and I will write on them the name of my God and they will be citizens in the city of my God the New Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God and I will also write on them my new name the idea of a new Earth with a new atmosphere and sky is a familiar theme in the scriptures many of the prophets both Old and New Testaments spoke of this new Heaven and new earth Isaiah 65:1 17-18 look I
am creating new heavens and a new Earth and no one will even think about the old ones anymore be glad Rejoice forever in my creation and look I will create Jerusalem as a place of Happiness her people will be a source of Joy the city is set apart by its Holiness and newness making it unique from any other Earthly City the name Jerusalem gives it continuity with Earth especially with the place of our Redemption throughout history humans have never experienced a community that is entirely free from sin Adam and Eve only knew a limited community
and community in a larger context only came long after the fall in the New Jerusalem we have a completely unique Community one that is sinless pure and righteous it is a holy city problems arise when Believers expect this kind of community now this city cannot be attributed to human achievement but rather is a gift from God John overhears a proclamation from Heaven that the Tabernacle of God is with men and that he will dwell among them because they are God's chosen people they will have a level of closeness with him that they could never have
dreamed possible God will be present with them the Tabernacle that Moses built was meant to depict the dwelling place of God here on Earth that was past the representation of The Dwelling Place of God this Tabernacle of God is the reality of his presence he will set up residence among them and they will serve as his people this beautifully condenses the core of both God's desire and man's purpose simply said God's objective is to live in close fellowship with man and man's purpose is to be a people unto God one of the reasons that many
people try to spiritual ize and dismiss this city is because of its enormous size it is a city that goes above and beyond what you can imagine now if you work that out to give you an idea that each one of the walls in the cube of it they're all, 14400 mil between 1,400 and 1500 mil and the ground floor square mile is 2, 250,000 square miles on the first level did you ever hear like that London covers an area of 140 square miles the city for square is 2,250,000 square miles on the first floor
this city is 20 times as big as all of New Zealand it's 10 times as big as Germany it's 10 times as big as France it's 40 times as big as all of England it is ever so much bigger than India why it's an enormous continent all by itself I had no idea of it he said until I went with the figures he would allow no comment at this stage wait a minute he pleaded I've been going into the matter of population and it's even more wonderful still look at this working it out on the
basis of the number of people to the square mile in the city of London the population of the city for square comes out to 100,000 million 70 times the present population of the entire globe in the city are the tree of life for the healing of the Nations and the River of Life the New Jerusalem is the ultimate fulfillment of all God's promises the New Jerusalem is God's goodness made fully manifest the tree of life is first portrayed in chapter 2:9 of the Book of Genesis as being in the midst of the Garden of Eden
with another Divine tree called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil the tree of life was planted by God as a result of his Disobedience Adam lost his eternal life the Tree of Life in Eden must have had some role to play in maintaining the life of Adam and Eve the Bible opens with a description of a tree of life now we see the tree of life again it's a little difficult to Picture This picturesque scenery in our minds it's possible that when John talks about a large Street he is referring to one
that has a river running down the middle of it and that there's a large tree or series of trees that grow with their roots on either side of the river the re appearance of the tree of life is indicative of the complete restoration of all things
