Ecom is harder than ever that's why it's important to have leverage so here are three main things profitable Ecom businesses have in Comon it would be great to have all three but having at least one gives you a true leverage in the market so let's dive in thing number one it's very very hard to be successful running an Ecom brand if you don't have a product Market fit in case you're first in the market and you have to educate people about what's your product how to use it how they can benefit it you'll have a
hard time selling it in other words it's way easier to capture the demand than to create it that's why Google ads always have higher return than Facebook they're capturing existing demand people are actively searching for something they have a problem with even if you have a topn skill you're like a great media buyer or you're great in operation it doesn't help if you're in a low potential opportunity I often see people boasting their impressive numbers on Twitter and boasting like their Facebook marketing or creative strategy skills but through this 90% of the heavy lifting comes
from the product and the category not the expertise itself so if you're thinking about starting a brand think longterm and think hard on what product to sell and what type of business to start you can leverage tools like Google Trends Tik Tok to actually find the products that are currently trending and riding that way would have a way bigger impact on your performance than just starting from scratch thing number two The Power of MVP or in other words testing before the launching especially before you launch a whole store or you buy an inventory forget building
an entire product start with just a sample create the minimum requirement to have a proof of concept in other words create a simple sales page or product page Target a single customer avater with your ads how to get those ad well you pay ugc creators from that Niche to produce various ads with different messaging let's say between five and 10 variations each targeting different angle you can spend like 3 5K tasting all these ads if you see sales coming in you talk to customers about potential delay or you issue a refund this strategy saves you
a ton of money and time I did this process for multiple seven and eight bigger Brands when they were testing a new product so we used a specific custom conversion that was fired only when someone bought that new product so cuz we realized a lot of people were clicking on that new product but ended up buying original one so you would think okay this is a this product is a winner but actually was not so this gives you Clarity if people are actually interested in buying this product if they're not you would not be stuck
with a lot of inventory of the product that nobody wants that's why it's always better to let the market decide if your product is worth selling thing number three importance of clear value proposition all the fastest growing brands in the world require very little education education is such an expensive process especially today with cpms increasing every year basically your paying more to reach the same number of people as a couple of years ago so there are two things you you should consider you want your product either to be clearly understood so that basically a kid
could understand what you're selling with just a like simple image and a call out text about that an example of this is a clothing shoes or jewelry the products are self-explanatory and even like when running a catalog yet you could see what the product is another great way is if you have a product that solves a problem but the p is to try to present solving the product with a unique mechanism your product has basically something that's Superior to your competitors or to other similar Solutions the case is a lot of people with that specific
problem you're solving already try different solutions that did not work when you position your product as a superior and something new you have a higher chances of selling a product this is the most important part of many vs cells and the reason why a lot of them convert so well basically you either want to save them time save them money or make something more effective I'm also going to share one bonus thing why people have success with their brands or brands that they're just starting so in case you're an influencer with an existing audience or
you can find one to help you collaborate on the brand and be the face of the brand definitely do it just think of prime and Logan Paul he monetized the product just because he had a huge following I bet Mr Beast would do the same soon so in case you can find an authority in the space let's say a wet or a pet supplement bread that's even better because that add that credibility to the product so to recap go into Market that has demand for the product test the product leverage existing audience and that's it
