Elisha expecting a grand gesture to cure his leprosy instead God's new thing for him was a simple command to wash in the Jordan River it wasn't what non expected but it was exactly what he needed God's new work in our lives often comes in ways we don't anticipate it might be a sudden opportunity an unexpected relationship or a shift in our circumstances sometimes it's a gentle nudge to step out of our comfort zone and trust him more deeply as we read in Jeremiah 33 verse3 call to me and I will answer you and show you

the story of Samuel in first Samuel 3 when God first called him Samuel didn't recognize his voice it took guidance from Eli and a willing heart for Samuel to finally respond speak for your servant hears like Samuel we need to cultivate a heart that's ready to hear and respond to God's voice this means letting go of old mindsets habits and even dreams that might be holding us back it's about surrendering our plans to God and trusting his perfect timing and wisdom Zephaniah 3:1 17 reminds us the Lord your God in your midst the mighty one
will save he will rejoice over you with gladness he will quiet you with his love he will rejoice over you with singing this beautiful verse assures us that as we prepare our hearts God is right there with us delighting in our willingness to embrace his new work preparing our hearts also means dealing with fear and doubt change can be scary and the enemy often uses fear to keep us from embracing God's new thing but we must remember that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind we can
prepare our hearts through prayer fasting and meditating on God's word these spiritual disciplines help us align our will with God's Will and give us the strength to step into new territories it's also important to surround ourselves with faith-filled believers who can encourage us and pray with us us sometimes God uses the people around us to confirm his new work and give us the courage to move forward as we prepare our hearts we become more sensitive to God's leading and more willing to say yes to his plans we develop a flexibility that allows God to mold
us and use us in new and exciting ways my dear friends as we recognize God's new work and prepare our hearts we come to the crucial moment of stepping into the new season that God has prepared for us this step requires courage faith and a willingness to leave our comfort zones think of Phillip in Acts 8 he was in the midst of a successful Ministry in Samaria when God suddenly called him to a desert road Philip obeyed without hesitation leading to a Divine appointment with the Ethiopian unic his willingness to step into God's new plan
resulted in the gospel spreading to Ethiopia stepping into God's new season often means embracing the unknown it might involve taking risks facing challenges or even experiencing temporary discomfort but we can take heart in the words of Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ this verse assures us that God is faithful to finish what he starts in our lives when we step out in faith we're not alone God is right there with us guiding and empowering us
every step of the way as we step into God's new season we might face opposition or doubt from others not everyone will understand or support the changes God is bringing in our lives but like nemiah rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem we must stay focused on God's calling not the naysayers around us remember stepping into God's new season isn't a one-time event it's a continuous journey of trust and obedience each day presents new opportunities to say yes to God's plans and purposes as we Faithfully step into each new thing God brings our way we'll see his

every area of my life physical emotional and spiritual restore what the enemy has stolen and renew my strength like the Eagles I rebuke every attack of the enemy against my health my finances my relationships and my purpose in the name of Jesus I declare victory over every obstacle and challenge that stands in the way of your new work in my life father I lift up my loved ones to you I pray that they will come to recognize and embrace the new things you're doing in their lives bless them with courage wisdom and discernment as they
