The Story begins with a delivery Courier tasked with delivering a sofa to someone named Francesca's house when attempting to move the sofa one of the employees injured their hand due to getting pinched by the sofa after the sofa was moved The Courier started to deliver the sofa to the given address however because the address was unclear The Courier had difficulty finding the place he then asked an elderly man named Jack for directions unfortunately Jack did not know Franchesca when Jack touched the sofa he suddenly saw a vision of the past where a woman was running
as if being chased by something at that moment Jack collapsed and The Courier quickly helped him up after a long search The Courier finally found Francesca's house at that time the sofa was received by a man named TJ who is Francesca's boyfriend the scene then shifts to Franchesca who was performing on stage with her friend Maxi after the performance Franchesca was suddenly approached by two police officers named named Bob and Rose the police started asking questions about freder Rico a friend of Franchesca who had died under gruesome circumstances at frederico's house only his legs were
found while the rest of his body remained missing upon further investigation it was revealed that fredero was involved in a dangerous cult and had an unhealthy obsession with Franchesca this made Franchesca very scared to be around freder Rico since there was no more time Franchesca hurried home and the police police requested to continue the conversation another day when she arrived home the sofa had already been delivered and was being Sat On by TJ as the day grew later Maxi decided to head back to her own home where she met her grandfather who turned out to
be Jack Jack was an antique dealer with a strong connection to Supernatural matters not only that Jack also had a fiance named Ashanti who shared his interest in spiritual things Jack began telling Ashanti about his vision when he touched the sofa and found a video explaining about the dibuk according to ancient mythology the dibuk is a spirit that attaches itself to or possesses inanimate objects such as sofas tables pillows and other items Jack was convinced that the sofa contained an evil spirit that would kill anyone who sat in it the next day Franchesca received a
call from Bob asking her to come to the police station after further investigation it was discovered that freder Rico had a website filled with strange photos and voodoo dolls with Francesca's face on them Franchesca explained that fredero was indeed a very strange person she also mentioned that recently she had been feeling very uneasy because many men had started approaching her all of whom were as obsessed with her as fredero was meanwhile back at home TJ was about to cook when suddenly the sofa attacked him injuring his leg TJ immediately called Franchesca asking her to return
home Franchesca Maxi and the the police rushed to Francesca's house and found TJ severely injured fearful of the sofa TJ decided to sleep at his mother's house however the sofa unexpectedly followed TJ to his mother's house and killed him on the other side Jack and Ashanti began performing a ritual to allow Jack to go back in time and learn about the dark history of the sofa it turned out that the sofa contained the spirits of a couple who had died under mysterious circumstances an es knowing this Jack and Ashanti planed to delve deeper into the
sofa's dark past that night Franchesca suddenly woke up after hearing mysterious noises from the living room when she checked she found that the sofa was moving by itself she immediately called Maxi to come over to her house the next morning when TJ's mother went to check on him she found TJ dead without wasting any time she reported the incident to the police Bob quickly contacted Franchesca asking her to come to the police station to discuss TJ's death before leaving Franchesca was visited by her friend Ralph who was also obsessed with her in fact Ralph was
so obsessed that he broke into Francesca's house without her knowing Ralph then began fantasizing about being close to Franchesca without him realizing it the sofa suddenly approached and killed him francisa meanwhile Franchesca had arrived at the police station Bob started listing names of those who might be responsible for the deaths of fredero and TJ out of all the names Franchesca eventually accused Ralph of killing TJ and freder Rico the police then made Ralph the main suspect in the murders that night Maxi received a call from her grandfather Jack who asked her to come home immediately
when she arrived Jack asked her about Franchesca Jack then told Maxi that Franchesca was in danger because the sofa contained the spirits of a couple and that the sofa would not hesitate to kill its owner hearing Jack's words Maxi returned to Francesca's house to get rid of the sofa however when she arrived she found Ralph already dead because of the cursed sofa Maxi quickly hid because the sofa sensed her presence feeling terrified and panicked she decided to jump from the second floor causing her to lose Consciousness and fall into a trash bin the police then
visited franch esa's house to check on her Franchesca who was sleeping suddenly woke up after hearing mysterious Whispers she later recounted all of this to Bob and Rose in the house they only found Maxi's Keys which made Franchesca Panic a little she began calling Maxi and was shocked when she heard Maxi's phone ringing not far from her house after searching they only found Ralph's body the police then took Ralph's body for an autopsy meanwhile Franchesca decided to leave her house initially she wanted to end her life because she could no longer bear witnessing all the
mysterious deaths but just as she was about to end it all Franchesca received a call from Maxi's grandfather Jack who asked her to come to his house when she arrived Jack explained that all the strange occurrences she had experienced were caused by the sofa she bought he explained that a long time ago a couple named Gerald and Valerie lived in France in the 1800s they practiced witchcraft which angered the local villagers who eventually killed Gerald by burning him alive meanwhile Valerie committed suicide after witnessing Gerald's death after they died their Spirits inhabited and possessed the
sofa whoever owned the sofa would soon die however usually the spirits of the couple sought the perfect body to possess so they could live again as normal humans Jack's biggest fear was that Valerie would take over Francesca's body to prevent this from happening Jack created a box meant to trap the spirits once the spirits were inside the Box Jack would burn it to ensure the spirits could not haunt anyone again unfortunately during the process of making the Box Jack suddenly had a health emergency panicking Franchesca left Jack behind and took the box with her meanwhile
Bob was planning to go to the police station to interrogate Warren in the interrogation room Bob asked Warren more about what happened to freder Rico Warren explained that freder Rico had gone insane because of the sofa freder Rico was so mad that he forced Warren to cut off his legs because of freder Rico's persistent demands Warren reluctantly cut off his legs after hearing everything Bob was initially skeptical because he found it hard to believe that anyone would willingly ask for their legs to be cut off the reason fredero wanted his legs cut off was that
he wanted to be one with the cursed sofa after much debate Bob eventually believed Warren's story meanwhile Rose who was at Ralph's house was shocked to discover that Ralph's computer was connected to CCTV cameras inside Francesca's house this meant that Ralph had been spying on Francesca's every move the CCTV footage showed Franchesca angrily shouting at the sofa which was moving by itself Rose immediately called Bob urging him to go to Francesca's house initially Franchesca wanted to burn the sofa but the cursed sofa fought back fortunately Bob and Rose arrived just in time and shot the
sofa it turned out that Rico had been moving the sofa all along Franchesca immediately ran to the bathroom unable to Bear the sight of blood while in the bathroom Valerie's Spirit began to possess Francesca's body the police finally arrived at the scene just as Maxi regained Consciousness she was finally reunited with Franchesca but Maxi was unaware that the person before her was no longer Franchesca 2 Days Later Rose received a call from the hospital informing her that frederico's severed legs had now rotted away the police had found frederico's body 2 days earlier from this it
was concluded that Frederico had indeed died long ago however a spirit had taken over frederico's body namely Gerald's Spirit meanwhile Bob was visiting Francesca's house when he was suddenly killed by Franchesca who had poisoned his drink with Bob now dead Gerald's Spirit took over Bob's body at the same time Rose arrived at Francesca's house and she too was killed by both Franchesca and Bob Maxi witnessed the whole incident after they left the house Maxi snuck in and immediately called the police and an ambulance in the reflection of the sofa Maxi saw Francesca's Spirit trapped inside
