Hello children today we are going to learn about Cubism, and in the end there is a challenge. Here we go ? Cubism emerged in France in 1907 and was a movement led by artists Braque and Picasso. He was influenced by African art and called Cubism because of the presence of geometric shapes in his works! There were two phases: Analytical Cubism in which the works have a fragmented and abstract appearance, and Synthetic Cubism in which the artist portrays his imagination with figurative and colorful images.
