a new one spring up in its place these creatures do not inherit memories or experiences thus monsters born in The Labyrinth do not evolve or grow the Minotaur opens its eyes and gains a limited amount of sension a new boss has been born in The Labyrinth of saeran's 10th floor the minur growls hisses and it thirsts it approaches the spring in the middle of the room and it guzzles as much water as its mouth can allow afterwards it Roars splitting open the Earth with its axes the minur breeds seeds and Bellows sensing someone behind it

the min minur turns around to face yet another Challenger Alina a classy Adventurer is the newest Challenger to the minur the pressure coming from the monster is immense it's bigger than anything she's ever faced before she can sense a deep rage and hatred coming from it Alina steals herself she's been preparing tirelessly for this day if she can single-handedly take down the minur she'll be promoted to a class C Adventurer which she hopes will Breathe new life into her parents above all she has a Talisman of Bora the Earth goddess she will emerge Victorious the

Minotaur Wars and it rushes toward her with unprecedented Fury Alina responds in kind with a ferocious Roar of her own Alina lands a blow on the minotaur's arms then Ducks out of the way to perform another she repeats this process again and again and again until the Minotaur tries to bulldoze her over instead Alina Dodges its charge and recalls the advice some veterans gave her as long as she gets rid of the minotaur's axes she can win Alina heaves her sword and successfully cuts off off one of the minotaur's arms she believes that she's one

but the Minotaur knocks the Daylights out of her causing her to get knocked into a wall when Alina sees the Minotaur taking a deep breath alarm Bells go off when a Minotaur is backed into a corner it uses a special move frenzy which inflicts a nasty set of debuffs it's all over if you get hit by it Alina reaches for the health potions that she carefully prepared only to discover that they were shattered during the last attack Alina takes the full brunt of the minotaur's friends at Roar leaving her defense less and unable to move

the Minotaur scores a direct head charge on her causing her to go flying a second time Alina's badly mangled body lies on the floor but she is still alive her eyes Dart toward the exit since boss monsters cannot leave the boss Room Escape is a viable auction Alina desperately tries to luck her broken leg towards the exit but the Minotaur catches up to her and kindly eases her burden by removing the broken leg what a nice guy Alena rolls along the ground in pain and she tries to drag herself self to the exit the minor

chases after her but his axe fails to penetrate the magical barrier that prevents him from leaving his heavy Stomps shake the Earth and he seeds with anger knowing that he cannot finish the job Alina crawls a few inches away and stops her bleeding with a makeshift tornay she slumps against the Labyrinth wall in agonizing pain but her bitter failure stings even more Alina clutches the emblem of Bora and begs for the strength she needs to defeat the minur just this once the emblem glows but suddenly the doorway to the boss room begins to crackle Alina

watches in horror as the menur endures the Dreadful pain of forcing itself through the doorway it should be impossible and against the rules for a boss to leave the boss room but as Elina can see rules are meant to be broken the minor grabs alinaa and though his skin has been burned and his eyesight has gone he still has his strength and fury he hurls alinaa through the air and flattens her like a pancake against the Labyrinth floor nothing is left of her but her equipment the Minotaur who was already at at death's door by

just forcing his way out of the boss room collaps is not long after though his body May crumble and though his teeth and nails are ground into dust his Spirit remains unbroken the Minotaur crave battle he had an insatiable hunger for battle and the power to kill his enemies as it so happens his body crumbles right on top of Alena's Talisman of Bora and it grants his wish a bright light envelops the minur restoring his body to its initial State ordinarily her blessing should only work on humans the minaur is not only granted his original

body but a stronger one a growth that no monster has ever gone through before the Minotaur remains still for a moment before clenching his fists unprecedented power is coursing through his veins he wants to fight more more enemies stronger foes on the 10th floor of the saeran labyrinth a beast was born he became unique as the only monster to grow adapt and overcome in awe of his might he was thereafter referred to as the king of the labyrinth labyrinths are mysterious spaces in in which adventurers can discover all sorts of treasures relics and great power

anything the heart desires can be found within these enigmatic spaces the Minotaur now the king slams his axe into the ground demanding more enemies to cut down Humanity has yet to understand what has been borne down here King kills a goblin and attempts to consume its flesh but it disappears dropping a few coins and a potion every living being that dies within a labyrinth disappears without a trace leaving behind only items King only wants a meal to sustain itself and for that it Roars in Anger King is furious he won and he wants his rightful

Spoils of Victory suddenly he encounters a pack of fearless wolves they're only Fearless because they'd never fought him before they attack him all at once and the lumbering Minotaur struggles to match their Superior speed and pack tactics however King stands his ground and endures their ferocious assault waiting for the prime opportunity to strike when one of the Wolves lunges towards his throat he pulls out an own a reverse card and bites them instead cane sinks his teeth deep and rips him off and he finally has a meal he can snack on however the wolf's body

inevitably disappears fortunately for him there are four wolves left and there's still room in his stomach King crushes what's left of the Wolves but he is still frustrated those wolves weren't even good enough to be his warm-up routine he desires stronger foes bigger game turning the corner King spots an adventure fighting against two wolves the wolves attack the adventurer simultaneously from both sides and though he man manages to put on a formidable defense at first his shield is inevitably knocked away he manages to stab one of the Wolves but his shield arm is ruined in

the process the adventurer turns on the last wolf but as his slash attack is seemingly dodged he manages to stop his blade midswing King's eyes widen the adventurer swings his blade from that suspended position blinding the wolf and giving himself an opening to kill it he hastily grabs the potion that dropped from its body and uses it to cure his wounds potions depending on the color have different effects red potions can heal wounds and more potent variants can even regrow lost limbs the adventurer lifts his head and is shocked to see a minur staring at

him a primal fear settles inside his stomach there's no way a Minotaur should be wandering around out of the boss room King tightens his grip around his axe the adventurer knowing that he is outmatched slowly backs away through the corridor King curiously follows the adventurer down the hall but when he reaches the staircase the adventurer is already gone although King wanted to figure out what lay ahead and where the adventurer had gone his body covered in wounds and scratches wanted to rest a few days past the bustling Village of M is situated nearby the sazer

and Labyrinth the adventurers Guild is filled with people as usual some drinking some hitting on women and some looking for work to do paja a class SE Adventurer but a class s muscle mommy is disappointed with the selection of quests The Guild president a short stocky man named Logan asked her to take on a special Quest West he tells her about a minur being cited in the corridors of the 10th floor paja thinks that the adventurer who reported it was mistaken and monra thought so at first however he has information that an adventurer named Alina

was evidently torn apart by a minur and there have also been strange Trails of unclaimed coins and Potions along the Labyrinth floors pja does find these incidents weird Logan wants her to verify whether or not the minor is in the boss room and to figure out if anything else unusual is going on he can't offer much in the form of payment but he offers her a one-time favor as the guild boss pja can't pass that up that alone is a great reward in fact the reward is so good that a few other adventurers want to

join in Charlia a class SE Adventurer and Ray also a class SE Adventurer pja tries to dissuade them from coming alone but Ray and Charlie are dead set on having Logan owe them a favor Logan has no problems with them going with paja considering how close they are to being promoted to class B Charlie fancies herself as a successor to the great Gil links and she sees no better candidate other than herself to go on this Quest P hates having to partner up with Charlia even temporarily but she is quickly intimidated into letting her tag

along paja Whispers to Ray asking him why he's with such an overbearing woman and he replies that it gets cute once you get used to it my man is whipped Charlie asks Logan what they should do on the off chance that the Minotaur has somehow escape from the boss room Logan leaves that up to them promising to adjust the reward based on how things turn out it could very well turn out to be a subjugation Quest but the question is who will be the one doing the subjugating several hours later paja a scout Charlia a

too since she has a bad feeling about this minur P uses sack an interdimensional storage device to retrieve one of her special arrows at the same time Charlie casts Earth bind to hold the minur in place allowing Ray to make the opening move he slashes the Minotaur with all his might but his his massive blade isn't able to pierce through the minotaur's hide it's a different type of minur for sure while Ray engages the minur in close quarters Charlia supports him by casting ice knife King sees it coming and it shatters against his axe however

Charlia simply creates more and she launches A Renewed attack although pja hates Charlie's guts her magical ability is the real deal with the Minotaur seemingly distracted by the ice knives pja takes aim from a blind spot her Arrow of AC arrows is a special Arrow loaded with a hot pot of paralytic poisons and a special blessing on the Arrow itself makes it nearly impossible to miss however as the arrow flies King instinctively shatters the arrow instead but the ice knives pierced his stomach and chest with a mighty Roar he forces Ray back Charlia is surprised

that paja would miss but paja knows that her attack was just blocked she wonders if the Minotaur instinctively knew her Arrow was more dangerous than the ice knives but she chalks it up to Pure coincidence King hefts his axe down in front of him and takes up a stance it's highly unnatural Behavior Charlie asks pja if she can fire another aaro's arrow but she's all out Charlie decides to switch tactics and they settle on a three- prown formation focused on disarming the Minotaur Charlie recalls being given a wand by her Father which in turn was

given to him by the great Gil Lynx Ray is charged with watching over her to make sure she doesn't go astray Charlie wants to earn her father's approval and be worthy as a successor to Gil links Charlia paja and simultaneously attack the Minotaur with their entire Arsenal and bag of tricks however to their frustration the Minotaur is somehow able to hand all them with ease it also consistently blocks any ice knives aimed at its vital points at this point all three of them start becoming impatient ordinarily a Minotaur could be easily overcome when three classy

adventurers banded together however this specific Minotaur is proving a headache to fight The Stance it has assumed strategically protects all its vital points and even though it was bleeding from multiple orifices its movements haven't slowed down at all on the other hand the adventurers are on borrowed time they are only being held together by the potions they periodically consume to keep their strength up but their supplies of finite and mental fatigue cannot be cured Charlia sensing that they will lose eventually chooses to take a gamble she starts chanting a fireball spell which has a notoriously

breaths Charlia Wells up in tears and apologizes to him pja interrupts their romantic moment and warns them that a big attack is coming the minur prepares to unleash a frenzy and paja instructs them all to drink a yellow potion to Stave off its effects the moment the minotaur's frenzy War hits the yellow potion clears its effects paja Ray and Charlia are all able to move paja decides to shoot one more ao's Arrow revealing that she had one extra all along she knows that a Minotaur is normally left vulnerable shortly after using frenzy however to her

horror the minur uses yet another frenzy and it finally breaks free from Charlie's earthbind no one can blame pja Ray and Charlia for not anticipating this beasts from the Labyrinth are not expected to evolve or grow they should never be able to learn from their experiences the Minotaur kills pja in a single strike signaling the end of their short-lived party as P's body disappears Ray stands back up on sheer willpower alone even though the effects of frenzy are still fresh he encourages Charlia to run away while she still can he made a promise to her

is abnormal Ray turns around and urges Charlie to run away and live a long life she can do nothing but helplessly watch as her dearest friend and companion are killed before her eyes his armor falls down with a hollow thud and Charlie cries out in agonizing grief in her Fury and sorrow Charlie begins casting Fireball again so she can avenge Ray however it has a long casting time and the Minotaur knows this before she can unleash it the minotaur's axe Soares through the air and cuts her down King is once again Victorious and it lets

out a triumphant Roar Logan becomes wor worried it's been half a day since paja Ry and Charlie left and they are taking an awfully long time for a simple confirmation Quest Logan's guest asks him if there is anything troubling him and he apologizes for rooming the mood the greatest magician in the world Gil Lynx is here to lendon ear Logan tells Gil that the adventurers he dispatched have yet to return Gil a class s Adventurer offers to check on the situation himself before Logan can dissuade him from doing so he is already gone a while

later Gil returns turns he removes his helmet and solemnly places three medals in a shattered staff that he retrieved from the boss room the Minotaur was nowhere to be found Gil asks if charliet is the daughter of AEL and Logan confirms that she is Logan wonders how this could have happened three classy adventurers should have been more than enough to handle a row minur Gil must leave and report this matter to the Royal Palace at once and he warns Logan to treat this situation with the utmost Care Logan stares at Charlie's emblem he wonders if

the minur died in battle against the three of them or something more Sinister as a foot King steps through the battered Halls of the labyrinth he has now slain three adventurers but he wonders if he is doomed to wait for stronger Challengers to appear he decides to wander Yonder in search of Greater game the following day Logan receives a harrowing report the Minotaur the boss of the 10th floor was spotted on the ninth floor the adventurers who encountered it a party of novices didn't seem to be lying or playing a YouTube prank cameras haven't even

and he knows how Levy Beat the Beast Titan the first time he slices the Golem's arm into ribbons and thrusts his sword into its forehead gem defeating it completely the recommended floor for solo exploration for S-Class adventurers is 50 pble the Heavenly sword has reached floor 96 will he defeat The Runaway minur or will he be another body for the pile 10 hours later pel ascends to the 10th floor although the patriarch of the House of mercilus persal seldom attends Royal meetings and functions choosing to spend his time solo Journey alone when he was 12

his technique he pulls off a storm of blades ripping through the air and causing the Minotaur to buckle under the pressure his fingers are shredded through causing him to drop his sword and leaving him open to a followup attack however persible blunders as he trips he unleashes a flurry of attacks before retreating a few feet away the Minotaur digs his axe into the ground and hurls debris at peral causing him to drop something from his hand when the Minotaur sees the potion drop his intuition and experience tell him one thing perel is tired the fact

is he is perel has been climbing 40 floors Non-Stop and on top of this sudden drawn out battle against a minur his body was screaming the Minotaur does doesn't understand how potions work but it knows that it has an opening the minur continues its Onslaught preventing persel from getting even a moment's resit persible wonders if the Minotaur has somehow sensed his fatigue however this is also good for him if the Minotaur continuously attacks it means that its defenses will be neglected when the Minotaur swings its arm too far back persel uses this opening to slice

the monsters throat however his cut is too shallow as are his follow-up slashes to his chest when pble takes his distance the minur mysteriously does the same pable carefully analyzes the situation the Minotaur is somehow fighting with a calculated mind it always remains just Out Of Reach causing pel's lethal slashes to become shallow Flesh Wounds but more than that he can tell that the minor is a worthy opponent persel will put his very Soul into this fight the Minotaur Roars and he meets his greatest rival thus far head-on slashes blood and sweat fly as pel

continues his deadly battle against the Minotaur both of their attacks are Relentless with neither yielding an inch the Minotaur is riddled with slashes across its entire body while peral albeit barely is able to avoid any lethal attacks ironically the Minotaur begins to feel frustrated the minur can see that the blood all over Purble is not the human's blood but his own even though it's been fighting at Full Throttle it hasn't been able to land a single hit the Minotaur launches a careless attack which persal capitalizes on with yet another Levy special however due to how

much pers has been fighting without stopping to use a potion his own fatigue has caught up to him the delay in P's attack allows the minur to headbutt him across the hall the minur then grabs its Axe and cuts off his leg its favorite kill pattern however even though pel has lost a leg he still has both his arms he slashes the minotaur's tendon and immediately follows up with an upward slash aimed at his neck he unleashes a flurry of attacks and though the Minotaur tries to twist his body to avoid them the damage has

been done his neck is PED punctured causing him to topple into the wall with a thud the Minotaur is exhausted and is being kept going on sheer adrenaline alone the Minotaur glances at perel and for the first time it Harbors a sense of respect for such a powerful foe perel's leg continues to bleed profusely suddenly he positions his blade above his body and the Minotaur reacts with genuine surprise the Minotaur slowly and cautiously approaches the motionless personal however the moment he steps into peral's attack range his hoof leg is cut the Minotaur leaps back Breathing

heavily this is one of pel's secret techniques a boundary technique that cuts anything that steps inside its Circle those who remain inside the circle are met with death the instant kind the Minotaur decides not to go any closer knowing that pble will die out eventually it too was nearing its limit there was no need for it to risk anything however it suddenly punches itself in the face for thinking of such a stupid thought it reminds itself that it did not come all the way here for victory but for battle it thirsts for a great battle

battle to the death with powerful enemies the Minotaur aims not for peral's head or heart but for his sword grabbing its axe the Minotaur slowly inches toward pel again the moment peral's sword swing comes the minur gives up its light cutting the sword speed significantly it then uses its Axe and shatters pel's final hope he slowly opens his eyes and sees that his proud sword has been broken defenseless the Minotaur slashes pel's sword arm off leaving him with no chance of fighting back the Minotaur looks upon the bloody pel raises his axe and tries to

stop the bleeding with his hand it doesn't want pel to die yet it wants him to fight back and to give it an even more thrilling battle however it was not meant to be persal Simply Smiles at the minur and the flame within him is extinguished for the first time a new emotion Springs up within the Minotaur King kneels over where the Heavenly sword's Body is after a great beam of light envelops him King levels up even more he thinks to himself that it's a great shame that the scars pble gave him have disappeared King

is strengthened to even greater Heights and perel still has a smile on his face perel's body disappears leaving behind a treasure horde of items such are the laws of the labyrinth King sinks his hand into the horde of items among which are the Treasures of the mercilus family and places it into his sack he then turns around leaving behind the items for others to discover at the adventurer's guild yil pays Logan another visit apologizing for how long his visit to the castle took he talks about his meeting with the second Queen and how the first

queen has gotten Down With The Sickness yil reveals the complex politics of the king's inner court and how various conflicts arise due to differing interests and power dynamics pretty boring stuff bring back the minur however they discuss something intriguing Logan recalls is saying that from the monsters perspective the adventurers are the monsters and vice versa it made Logan think about how unjustly they must be treating monsters Gil disagrees that monsters can feel things such as happiness or unhappiness or Justice and Injustice but he concedes that there is one thing both humans and monsters have in

shoulder the day before Gil gives Logan a shell filled with his life Essence this way Logan will know if something has happened to him Gil instructs Logan to inform the king at once if by some chance the light goes out Logan finds it hard to believe that Gil would lose to anyone since he heard a rumor that Gil made a deal with the god of the underworld to never die Gil laughs this off as an unfounded rumor back in the present Gil's body is rocked by the minotaur's massive hunk of iron unfortunately for the Minotaur
