God bless you greatly. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says: But faithful is the Lord, who will establish you and keep you from evil. Many of the dangers we live in are thanks to certain types of people about whom the Bible itself gives us serious and clear warnings.
Let's make it clear that it is not that we should despise people for who they are, but we should not be naive, foolish and unwary and let someone take advantage of us, take us for innocent and use us in the way they want. The type of person that we will talk about and of whom we must be very careful and not because I say so, the Bible says so, is the false, hypocritical people who are only appearances. Christ had to live with Judas always keeping in mind who Judas was.
The Apostle Paul said that on many occasions he had to face the danger of false brothers and Christ himself as well as the Apostle Paul told us: Let's keep, in other words, take care, avoid this type of people and stay away from such if this is possible. What does the Bible say about dangerous people? Why should we be careful?
Will there be people like these around us? These are questions that we are going to answer in this message. False, only in appearance and hypocrites.
In Matthew 7:15 Christ said: Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Fake people are dangerous across the board; both religiously and in those things that have nothing to do with the things of God. A false friendship, or false love and false words, by all accounts, all this is dangerous.
Christ said: Beware of the false. The biggest danger of fake people is the fact that what they say usually has some truth to it, sounds convincing and attracts people. These people have a harmless, innocent and humble appearance at first glance but their nature and intention are quite the opposite.
The false deceives in order to profit. Fake people don't care about your well-being so they will generally approve of what destroys you. Fake people usually come with flattery and indisposition to others to take advantage.
The sad thing about false people is that they deceive themselves and forget that sooner or later all their falsehood will be revealed. Many will ask how do I know if someone is fake? The fake and the genuine have a lot of difference, but the main one is DURABILITY.
The genuine is always lasting, has permanence and does not pass with time. The false, on the other hand, quickly perishes. Someone who is fake does not sustain what they say and promise over time, which means that, to find out if someone is fake, you just have to wait a little while, be cautious, not be naive, and not believe everything at once.
Waiting is important because everything false passes, but what is true remains. How dangerous people who are only appearances! The Bible tells us the following in 2 Timothy 3:5 …that they will have the appearance of godliness, but will deny its efficacy; avoid these.
That the text says: AVOID THESE, what it is trying to tell us is: Don't make friends with that kind of people and stay away from that kind of people. There have always been cunning people who with pretensions and flattery seep into the favor and trust of those who are too gullible, ignorant and fanciful. Whoever appears is highly dangerous, both in the religious sphere and in any case.
We should not be deceived and trapped by people who are only appearances. Let us not allow ourselves to be trapped by those who pretend to know God, but with their actions they deny him; for those who appear to be beggars and needy, but only seek to take advantage; for those who appear to be rich, but do not have and are not what they say; for those who have the appearance of goodness, but are wicked; by the one who claims to be a friend, but in reality is an enemy; for the one who says he loves you, but does not seek your well-being. We must not be fooled by pretty words, great eloquence, and a pretty face.
There are many occasions where the dangerous hides behind something beautiful. Many will ask: how can I recognize people who are only appearances? Everyone who appears will be recognized because what he does does not agree with what he says and when you see that a person is the opposite of what he appears to be, the Bible says: avoid them, do not make friends with that person.
My advice is: if you don't want to be fooled by appearance, be wary, cautious and pay attention to details. How dangerous are hypocritical people! Luke 12:1 says: At this, the crowd gathering by the thousands, so much so that they trampled each other, he began to say to his disciples, first, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
A hypocritical person is one who hides reality behind a mask of appearance. God does not want us to be hypocrites and He also wants us to beware of hypocrites. Judas with a kiss delivered the Master, but in the end his hypocrisy was exposed because everything that is hidden will be discovered and everything that is kept secret will become known.
Beware of the hypocrite because the hypocrite says and does not do. Matthew 23: 2-3 says: In the chair of Moses sit the scribes and the Pharisees. So whatever they tell you to keep, keep it and do it; but do not do according to their works, because they say, and do not.
Beware of the false, of the one who is only appearance and of the hypocrite. Value genuine, real, honest people. Stay with the one who loves God, stay with the sincere.
Become friends with the one who is as he is, because a friendship and a false love soon ends. Things that are only appearance are revealed over time for what they really are, and sooner or later the hypocrite knows himself. Stay with Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
