we have a lot to learn from her cuz do you guys keep track I'm terrible at what like financially finally of your spendings And stuff and your earnings you know what I'm the type of guy that that takes track but still makes really stupid decisions we all always make stupid decisions I'm going to show you guys uh something a stupid decision boom what is that you did this is crazy it's for the hair thing right watch how strong it gets what is that what is is a fan it is a fan this is level zero

told me temu laughed at me when I said that I was like oh is it not Korea we say maybe I don't know but we talked about this in another episode how um like the more Time you spend researching on a product it can be good and bad good because you have more knowledge on the thing you're buying but bad because if you do all that research but the purchase ends up not being satisfying you get really like you get more disapp maybe that means you just didn't do enough resech I always get disappointed I
always regret it it's cuz you're reading the fake comments oh my God don't get SED by comments don't ever Do and then also the YouTube review videos are so hard sit through you have to wash them in two times speed but I don't get it after like I don't know just just ask Joan it's okay I'll do the research for you and I'll give you the super like super Spark Notes version of it you're like yes no yeah if you ever get think about getting a card ask me I'll I'll tell you what's best for

a give here do you save put in anything into savings no no no not yet not yet I just have it in the bank do you have stocks I want it but I'm so you have nothing I'm living in I'm living in Korea as a Canadian so I can't do stocks here oh that's a problem so but so I'm just kind of like I just have the money oh you're just do to it and a lot of people think think that's very stupid and I know it is but I just don't know what to Really
do can you get savings account here in Korea then can you get savings account here yes yeah I have a savings account with a lot of interest like good Interest Bad good these days but it's better than letting it sit in your bank we sound like adults you don't I am sitting with adults wow School need some tips I yeah give us some give us some tips yeah yeah yeah um there's that really popular method of Say or how you divide your money it's 50 30 20 so 50 of it goes into your needs like
everyday needs yeah so like this is like your rent bills food food electricity bills health insurance all of that goes in your 50 and then 30 is your wait I don't even remember but I think one is 30% is saving and 20% is um your want oh like stuff that you want like like the phone or like I might have gotten The numbers wrong how do you pay for taxes then that's part of like your 50% 50% oh your knees I I forgot ah that makes sense yeah cuz oh I hate adult life I know
oh 30's 30 W I thought 20 would be WS but 30 wants could go towards your vacation your car things like that CU it's not need right in Korea I mean it could be a need for some vacation is not a need right um But I think 50% of your money towards your needs you should put tax in mind for that so every time I get a paycheck I try to take out a percentage of it and save it for the month of May and June and April for America and Korea yeah you know what
I do oh sorry goad it's okay hey I love you man that sweet love you too thank you for saying man hey gosh sorry what were you going to say oh what was he going to say first please please please Matthew please go first go first Um whenever I get paid I cut that money in half and I just put it in a savings uh account that I don't touch named tax tax yeah wow yeah because I've been riled by taxt yeah no like I had no idea literally I get half of my money taken
yeah yeah yeah um so the rest of the money then I start diving it up into like house bills for like two years I just don't touch that in case something happens and then like car and everything else I just put into another account and I just call that spending money yeah nice but what's cool about this is um ultimately 50% doesn't get taken of tax but it feels good when when it's a tax paying season and I pay it off and there's a lot left in tax and that's just my money now yeah yeah
so that's just what I do nice nice I need some coaching I don't know what I'm doing do your parents don't take care of your finances right you do it cuz I live alone year I'm just kind of like I I Finally figured out what to you know what do you think you spend the most money on um f food yeah food honestly CU you always get delivery yeah cuz I don't cook um delivery if you cut down delivery you save so much money these days I'm trying to like I just get like um groceries
like semi- groceries not like crazy amounts but enough to for like a week mhm um but I don't know I think it's I think most of it goes to my To to the house and the free car the needs yeah the needs you pay rent yeah yeah no no no not rent it's um ch interest yeah the interest is so high these days it's crazy it changes like every month it changes every month yeah but it it changes like 0.1 you guys just have to do pan wor yeah way better really way rent is so
wasteful like I think it could be equivalent to how much you're paying for interest now my monthly rent is the same for the Two years M yeah it's nice I recommend all right and you need less of a lump sum money right less of a down payment it's not like $800,000 you can buy a place with that I know no you can't not anymore you yeah you can but it's not going to be like yeah that's so I think that's why people aren't saving as much anymore because back in our parents generation you save money
you can actually buy a house but these days no matter how much you save It's like there's no hope that you will ever own a place in so and I think that's why people would rather just spend the money on themselves like go on a nice vacation or buy luxury items because they've kind of like lost hope they're all YOLO yeah Yol yeah you know I I feel like a lot of cities outside of Soul are trying to really promote people to move out and to them there's a lot of amazing deals nobody wants to
CU everyone lives in Soul and the housing markets is just wild here so expensive like 15 million 15 million regular regular not 15 ion yeah million million 15 million for like a decent apartment right in Soul dollars in K it's insane and it's like not even it's just a little room in like a kitchen a chicken farm take that money and buy a mansion in America America yeah just go to the St seriously real estate in America I mean America's expensive too but yeah I mean but not in Like Tennessee or like it's less expensive
even in Cali 15 million will buy you a a mansion like right yeah no even silal really Hills yeah yeah no way oh those are like 150 mil no they're not are you thinking of LeBron James yeah I'm think like LeBron James house you don't have to go that far shout out to LeBron yeah I was thinking that too be like M crazy no no no I'm like oh my God like 56 million or like 150 million crazy wait so what's like the next biggest thing you guys are saving up up for like a financial

done we do our hair do you guys know how much you guys spend a year on oh my gosh on skare beauty I need to take out my Excel sheet for that yeah she has a whole Excel sheet for that I do I don't know probably a lot do you think it's in like the four fig fig Range Five figure range not five fig fig four figures yeah yeah yeah like high four figures yeah because I buy it in package oh so I go to the people gu and they're like okay so what would you
like and I ask for the highest membership because I know I'm going to come right so I just go there all the time the best deal yeah yeah I've seen deals where it's like 10 plus one free one for like 2,000 3,000 for what though for like skin care regular skincare yeah but then They'll do everything like colagen and like make you look all nice and tight and young and sexy MH I was like I don't know I was like I could just buy lotion and sunscreen what you know oh does that work for you
is that it works for me oh really she was like I don't think that [ __ ] works for you right now I mean that's all you need do for but then I'm also thinking like what if I did do that like I wonder how much of a significant change yeah I want to know does it Really work like a lot like there is it worth all the money yes for sure for sure even for guys you think wow more guys probably going to go go together I'm down okay let's do it do Studios get
us a deal oh man people I from oh is that why you're R yeah he does have good skin though very glowy oh my gosh we need J Park skincare routine like want to know his skincare Routine it's like tum it's very transparent I feel like he eats clean to oh yeah that's true he does like some 3-day water like fasting thing too I saw I saw that he drinks water he just drinks water he doesn't do that like every day Hees like he like twice a year do that every day that's pretty I heard
it's pretty healthy I'm not recommending this for anybody but I've done that a couple times too I haven't done 3 days 3 days is a bit tough done 50 hours before Wow but the clarity is crazy the the the feeling of like lightness of my body it feels really good actually we should try it okay um I and then like try like 36 and then 48 like 12 hours at a time but basically fasting right yeah yeah but the effects are um so so when you constantly put food in your body your body is working
to get rid of it right and then send the whatever it needs to go when your body is not digesting and and doing that part Of work your body gets rid of everything else it feels like it doesn't need in your body cells detx yeah so I'm not recommending this but drinking water I feel good yeah I do see a lot of positive like reviews I'm just scared I don't know wait what's the craziest thing you've done like for skin care yeah tell us like like in terms of money like the craziest kind of procedure
oh um PRP probably what that Again it's the one where they take out blood from you and then they put it in this thing and then they like into white cell I'm doing a terrible job at exp blood cells white blood cells and then they injected into your skin it's so painful wait do you get anesthesia for that I didn't oh gosh you're does it hurt did it hurt a lot Eric has a lot of questions today go on and Ashley that's yeah Great oh are you going to ask about the placenta thing oh what

placenta drinks no if you go to the pharmacy but eating your own placenta yeah no I watched um something on Netflix and someone gave birth and like a friend was like can I buy your placenta she wanted to use it for herself so people would eat other people's placenta I have a question I Think raw with blood and everything I don't know but I think some doctors also sell placentas can we get a little bit specific with the health benefits because yeah I want to know what good it does to your body yeah what's it

has it but I usually end up finding out later and regretting it rather than just keeping track I'm like oh [ __ ] I spent so much money it's most most of that here here's my thingy um in July 31% of my income went to traveling Oh and then 15.9 was like insurance and like other stuff and then 4.3 was shopping 3.0 was hobby Etc 3.0 was like Fitness Hospital health wi health related stuff 2.8 was Food and then 2.7 was Transportation wait how does it do you have to like organize no it tells you
right away what yeah they like separated for you so they're also the judge of what's what then yeah so sometimes it gets like mixed up um I have an Excel sheet okay so you do it every month uh yeah every month I have to because I want to know well I make the Excel sheet for my CPA my us CPA and my Korean thankful they are yeah but I do it also for me because I need to know how much I'm spending how much I saved and it's just easier because I use multiple Banks so
e like like toss I can't really know cuz I have to know all of my cards cuz for some cards it's better to use for travel some cards are better for like the daily stuff yeah is it just these the reasons are for just the benefits of each Bank like the benefits you get it's just that right yes solely that okay sure so it is better to have different banks and you Know your money spread around okay yeah and credit cards good credit so do you is it okay spending a lot on credit with the
credit card or as long as you as long as you can pay it back pay back yeah yeah right okay M there's a lot of people that say that don't use credit cards too that's only if you're like financially irresponsible mhm I don't use credit cards you don't you use credit cards at all I mean I do but I don't use it enough as much as I should I have one kind of scared right scared to use it scared yeah cuz like I don't want to make a big purchase and then like one month later
I look at my bank account I'm like what did I spend money on like I'd rather know the next day and then try to start being responsible then but you could also do hu like in like pay month payments I mean I think another reason I'm scared is because I'm already doing hu for like so many things Car and stuff yeah I mean like just just the small ones I'll put together like Netflix um but all the streaming apps freaking like the apps I use for making music um it's monly there's everything is turning into
monthly payment now no more yearly it's all subscription based but like it's all subscription based like Jun said that's true [ __ ] that's so much spending so much money so Much like little stuff going out monthly that I forget about sometimes yeah and it adds up huh yeah Money Matters I'm downloading the app right now so I want to see it's going to take a while to set up though I'll do it later wait so how long how often do you guys spoil your spoil yourselves like treat yourselves out whether it's like a buying
a luxury item or like going to an expensive meal like Omaz or steak food is never like never feels like a waste of money foring even if the course is like $500 well I mean that has to be a special occasion like for someone very special you know I wouldn't just just spend it every day but you wouldn't feel the same amount of guilt if it was food yeah yeah yeah I feel like I would throw down like way quicker than other things if it's food it's like oh yeah let's do it though it goes
away yeah 500 bucks on Omasa with someone that like I want to spend special time with is way more worth it as opposed to like say there's a headphone I've been wanting for like 5 months now and I still can't figure out if I want to F it or not like food is just valued higher to me so that's like kashimi is that kashimi like value there's like K value for worth and then kashimi which is like the emotional value yeah the emotional value makes me happy makes me happy that's Gluttony so uh yeah not
only not what if you just eat the right amount like you don't overeat but if I'm spending $500 I usually want to overeat yeah I better better fill you up that's true like I want to be able to eat to the point where I don't I'll be full until like 3 days later but sometimes those restaurants they you don't feel full I know and you end up going home eating like PE po that always happens yeah yeah yeah so I always whenever I go to those Type of places I always look at like what other
food I could add M to fill my stomach up with it yeah yeah yeah like if the Ki is like 200 g and it's like $500 I'll add like four coops worth and like a soup yeah it's like extra 20 bucks oh my gosh oh my gosh okay four is a bit much up two maybe yeah don't lie don't put Ashley as an Entertainer do you sometimes feel that it's necessary to showcase on social media theas and luxury no it's dumb yeah Honestly why no I mean just for showing they you specifically I know it's
like Ashley asn't Entertainer um no I think maybe in the beginning when I was younger and just starting out maybe I did have like the desire to be like Oh I'm going to these nice things and I'm eating like really good food but now it's I don't know yo yeah I feel like have you guys seen those posts I've seen a lot of these posts and what these posts consist of is Like girls talking about how they need their man to provide this type of stuff like on the regular all the time like what but
they sound like super entitled like if my man's not making at least 250k a year that's not like for this you're not going to make you know what I mean like I'll see these videos and I'm just like yeah dude I don't know like so that's so like what a turnoff yeah yeah and they're being serious they're being serious 100% that's why they're single And making those videos yeah who's going to with that yeah cuz I want someone I could like you know hustle with and want to like spoil them but that doesn't make me
want to spoil them here's a question if you guys ever got married would you do a joint account or would you keep it separate oh D cuz I found a very interesting thing recently um don't most people do it separate now 22 20 20 to 30% are um they do joints joint and rest is just split wow 70% I feel like they Have their separate uh accounts and then maybe they just put in this Mount every month this amount every month so they can use that for like groceries and stuff but I wouldn't want to
just like share everything yeah cuz I might need my emergency funds for I don't know for my family or whatever something happens right so but that's the thing in Korea though it's all about hey we are one yeah it's more of that I see that more in Korea like in Kore yeah like I think Um they would if they ever got married bank account has to come together my money is your money your money is mine it's that that it's that yeah my money is my money your money is my money wait so how would
you feel if you're um significant other you guys are like get trying to get married and they ask you to show uh them your entire like bank statement how much you have saved and how much money you have would that be okay yeah if they want if They want to see I can show them but if they were like hey let's put it together and you know like what all the decisions financial decisions you make it has to go through me like that kind of thing I'd be like hey really like if I what if
I make this and I want to treat myself it's like I have to ask you if I want to get a watch it's like that kind of thing if what if I saved up myself you know I I I have a couple friends that are married right now that are going through Something similar like that yeah a lot of new Newly Weds going through this problem right now so like what like I mean oh money money problem the wife well not money problems really but like spending the wife wants to spend money on this but
the guy can't really have it justified in his head and then the guy also wants to spend his money on this but the wife it's it's hard for the wife to justify that in her head too like it's just like I think it comes with Different values when it comes to like buying stuff true so it's tough be a tough one yeah yeah can can't one person buy one month and then the next person buy the next month so when it's my turn we're only going to have fast food and then when it's your turn
we're going to do all every meal um a lot of my married friends actually have their separate accounts and then they start a joint account and then they put percentage and Then they use that for like date nights or like groceries and I was like oh yeah that that's smart for like rent and stuff too right yeah it's so much easier I think they have like a set amount that they have to put in and then they work with that and then they have their own money they could buy whatever they want otherwise it's just
going to cause way too many problems here's a here's a problem though where this becomes a Problem because when you once you have when you consider children the mother is hard to you know work keep her job you should have to go on maternity leave so what happens then she doesn't make any income right but now it's like the dad will feel like okay then we're using all of all you really think the m is going to feel that way there's dud who feel like that they have a kid I know but that's where divorces
happen but like 9 months Of carrying the baby and the woman is still in like it takes 3 months to recover you can't really go straight to work sometimes because you're still in pain yeah I would really hope that the person I'm married to would be like take a year off yeah and I want to be there with my baby like it's really important for the baby to have at least one of their par it's crazy right now how the world is like everyone's more thinking about themselves more it's more like I Want to start
a family and I want to be this you know it's more like holy like we're going to die I want to be super happy before I do I guess I kind of do have a financial goal I want to be able to provide for my family without having to have my wife spend anything forever and then just her money is her money she could do whatever she wants with her I don't care as long as she's not cheating and like doing crazy I'm fine but like I want to be able That's my financial goal to
support and then have some too like on the side and what not to do what I want to do also yeah that's the best yeah but it's still hard it's too difficult hard being a man but that's why we have wives you know yeah yeah there to wow yeah what supp they there to support us and like make us feel like you know we're strong when we're feeling down that's what I you know becoming a mother Is something that we'll never be able to know what oh no like becoming a mother would be something we'll
never be able to really understand fully MH cuz it's like yeah a baby coming out of you just that's just so much work I want so guys really have to be good yeah but do you here's a question here's a question for a woman would you rather have like if you had to choose would you choose a man who's not as affectionate but he's Very hardworking and he's going to make the constant D for you guys to maintain this you know the safe life for your children and yourself or would you have a guy who's
not making as much and you guys are kind of like borderline struggling but very very emotionally uh supportive what would you choose the ladder the ladder what's the ladder the more emotionally supportive okay didn't know I've never heard ladder before you never heard the ladder you Never heard you laugh at my cold water boiling hot water boiling pretty stupid it's really really dope yeah which is the second one me too it's okay fine yeah it's okay just so wow okay I said second because I think it it's really important for the male to be affectionate

and I've been using it for a very long it's still good it's so worth yeah and it looks sleek and nice too so I think there's a lot of good thing you know here's a here's a very good example here I bought the temu version of a Dyson regretted the out of it and I Immediately I regretted it I went out got myself a Dyson best choice I've ever made what's the Done That What's the biggest difference you feel it sounds very wrong but the the power of the Su the suction the power like how

more like flashy trendy stuff I don't know maybe I'm still once you buy something very flashy and it's expensive You wear it a few times and it feel like you're wearing yeah especially for people who are always on camera or doing like a lot of the social stuff it just feels like you're only have that to wear and you don't want to wear it as much why not I just isn't that you don't get that I buy something I'll wear it like every day I'm like that too I would do it I I wear it
over and why I can't do that cuz I have the live radio TV show every day so I always have to keep my for like jeans you could wear that every day you could wear different top jeans for sure for jackets and things like that I try to style it in many different ways but yeah it makes sense if you have to be on camera all the time of course it's tough but yeah investing is is nice I like buying Timeless pieces too yeah and also you could also like sell it for a good price
later on a lot of people invest with like jewelry or like watch it like Chanel bags these days CU it just keeps going up in price right it's crazy cuz when I bought one of my Chanel bags it was like it was expensive then too now it's triple the price wow you can make money on that you keep I'm going to keep it until it goes higher and higher keep it in pristine condition it is the girls uh stock yeah you're playing stocks playing the stock game and if you have something in your cart but
