If you let your gun down, baby. All right, so here's my situation. It's not bad.

It's just kind of not giving what it needs to give, if you know what I mean. Meanwhile, my wife's office has been super cozy, styled, and living its best life for months now. But that's okay.

Uh, I've just been kind of over here existing, uh, moving from project to project. But now is the time for a little bit of a glow up from my office space. So, today we're going to be getting rid of this old desk here and working with Hala, who sent over the Veraritoss 360 electric standing desk.

And I will get into what that 360 means in just a little bit here, but Oala offers a ton of different options. You definitely want to check out their website. Uh they have options for living rooms, bedrooms, etc.

But in this case, we have the Veraritoss 360° uh standing desk because the bottom portion, if you can see here, actually swivels out and out 360°. Um which just provides a little bit of extra workspace. So me editing YouTube videos, I can um you know, be working while I'm on break.

I can put my MacBook on that extra piece of desk and then it'll just, you know, open up a lot of different possibilities to do some extra things without having to, you know, move the laptop or try and work on your lap and stuff like that. So, let's go ahead and get this set up. never been.

I would love to take you to a place you never fit in before. All right, first impressions here are this thing. All the boxes here were super heavy.

So, please don't do what I do. Learn from me. I carried all these in by myself.

But each box, I'm telling you, weighs anywhere from like 75 to like 100 plus pounds. So, please just be careful. Um, but that also means on the flip side that this is a very durable and super solid product.

As soon as I opened it, I could immediately tell that this was some some very good quality material packaged very well and the acorn color I went with kind of matches perfectly with the the wood slats that I have on the wall behind our media room TV. So, I was super excited about that. But, yeah, overall super heavy, which means it'll be durable.

Every single piece is solid and and well put together. But the instructions we have are super simple. For the most part, it was just a few screws that you had to put together.

But a lot of the big stuff is already done for you. So, I think it only took maybe 20, 30 minutes to put um the whole thing together. Um and then you'll need some help towards the, you know, the middle of the process to put the top on.

But that was like the worst part. Comment below if you guys get excited when you get something new in the house or is it more stressful because you have to deal with all the trash and the boxes that come with it. For me, that's like the worst part.

It's like as soon as I before I even open anything that I get, it's like I'm immediately thinking about how fast I need to get all the boxes out of the house so we don't keep staring at them for the next 2 weeks. And here is the perfect example of why they recommend having two people because uh a lot of these pieces are heavy, like I said, but also pretty wide. So, it will definitely help to have a second person just help you guide everything uh into where it needs to go and make sure that it's lined up properly.

But this piece sat perfectly on top of this uh cabinet. But also, if you see here, not only does it have a drawer and a cabinet on one side, but if you flip to the other side, it has the same thing, another drawer and a cabinet. And that is because this is actually a reversible desk.

So, you can actually have the desk swivel out to the left or the right, which is why the cabinet is made how it's made. They were super ingenious for doing this because if you don't like the default way that it swivels out, you can just swap the whole thing and then it can swivel the other way. So, whatever works for your space, you definitely have options.

I chose to have it what swivel to the left. Um, because I knew I was going to use it that way. I tend to move to my left when I need to work on a laptop or do something different instead of uh it swiveling out towards the windows, which I didn't really want to block.

But all you have to do to swap the the orientation is to reverse one power cord under the top of the desk. And that's it. You can move um the side piece to the other side and have it swivel the other direction if you want to, but the instructions were very clear on how to do that, so everything was pretty easy to follow.

And um yeah, just finishing up This is way more my vibe now. Clean, warm, and functional, but still cozy. And it finally feels like a space that I actually want to sit down and work in.

But of course, we can't forget the standing function. But the motors on here are super quiet, and it only takes like 3 to 5 seconds for it to, you know, get to a fully st stand up height or to reset to the bottom um setting. So, I was pretty impressed with that.

But overall, this is an amazing desk. So, however you choose to be productive, whether you're standing up or sitting, this desk is definitely a great option. So, I'm going to leave the link in the description.

Check out Hoola. They're usually having great sales, but definitely check that out. So, one thing I just wanted to share with you guys is is that I think a lot of the reason I didn't want to do anything to this base set is because I felt like I needed to like overhaul or redo the whole thing all at once.

Like, you know, cabinets, built-in desk, and and wall trim, maybe something on the ceiling, stuff like that. But really, if you wanted your space to feel different, you really don't need to do, you know, a whole grand project, uh, this this project was really just a a light fixture, um, a new desk, and, you know, a little bit of straightening up and a picture on the wall, which I already had in my last office. So, already this makes it feel way more refreshed and just kind of a new space.

Eventually, I kind of want to tweak it a little bit more just to make it a little more um, you know, rich feeling. uh and personalized. But for now, this is definitely an upgrade to my space.

Um you know, I'll call it phase two of three. So, um you know, not quite on the level of of Britney's office yet, but it's getting there. It's getting there.

So, it's crazy because I bought this light fixture, which is kind of like a I guess you would call it a fanier. It's a light and it has a built-in fan in it. I actually got it from Costco.

You guys may have may have seen it, you know, if you went to Costco in the last few months, but I've kind of just been hanging on to this for like 6 months now. uh didn't want to put it up yet because I didn't I wasn't 100% sure what I was going to do with the space, but I felt for this occasion it went perfectly so I wanted to go ahead and put it up. But that just goes to show you that if you like something and you know it's going to fit your space and you know it's a say it's a good deal.

There's nothing wrong with just picking it up, taking it home and you know letting it sit for a while. Doesn't mean it has to be junk forever, but you know that at some point you want to use it. I feel like it's better to have it than to not have it, especially at Costco because you never know when those things are just going to disappear and you'll never be able to get it again.

Dancing. So once I got everything together and installed, I went ahead and tested it just to make sure it worked right, which it did. Um, so it does have a built-in fan.

Um, but not just that. I didn't know that you could actually change the color tone of the light. You can make it more warm, like yellowish.

You can make it blue like a daylight bulb. Um, I kind of left it in the middle, more of a soft white. But man, if you guys picked this up from Costco, let me know what you think about it because that fan is crazy on high.

It's like a little mini hurricane. But I usually leave it on low. But it works really good to cool off that whole space that I'm working in so I don't have to use the uh the basement AC cuz for the most part during the day I'm the only one down here.

Um but yeah, it definitely makes it feel more comfortable. Now don't judge me. I am using a mallet to hit a nail into the wall.

I asked Britney for a hammer and she brought me this. So hey, I just went ahead and used it. Heat.
