Well we have a visiting speaker today brother JK Park and he's going to talk to us on the theme of work what is good toward all thanks brother Park good Ona Mike have you heard this expression quite often yes well good on you mate it's um classic oie greetings but this um expression was one of the first expression that I learned when we immigrate to Australia well this Expression is expression of a compliments on your good action so when you hear these some compliments on your good act how would you feel well you feel good
would you yes each one of us here today naturally want us to be a good person no one wants to be a bad person right but what is goodness how do you define goodness one dictionary say says goodness is a quality it involves moral excellence and Virtue without Badness and rottenness it is an proactive and positive quality manifested in beneficial action so however you might ask what's considered good in some people may be viewed as not so much helpful or even consider as a bad in others so if we are if we are to enjoy
peace and true happiness from this quality goodness there must be a one standard of goodness but who can rightly establish This um ultimate standard well when Jesus was on the earth he said nobody is good except one which was his father Jehovah in Mark 10:8 and in James 1: 17 he says Jehovah is the source of all that is truly good and he's The Giver of every good gift and every perfect present well now we'll see a picture on the screen here what are some examples of Jehovah's goodness that we can see And feel today
well from the picture we can see the clear sky so there there are um clear and polluted um clean air we need oxygen every day and also water that we see here our human body is about 60% of water so we need water and also fresh fruit and veggie from the earth essential for our food that we consume and also on top of this Jehovah give us the Bible the Holy Scripture it's a manual that teaches us how to find the true happiness and satisfaction in our life so whe whether um we know this or
not everyone on the Earth are all benefiting from this the Jehovah's goodness but why do we need to imitate Jehovah's goodness and why Jehovah wants us to develop and cultivate this quality to find out the find out the Answer please open your Bible to um book of Hebrews and chapter 13 we are going to read um Hebrew chapter 13 and verse 16 together Hebrews chapter 13 and verse 16 it says moreover do not forget to do good and to share what you have with others for God is well pleased with such sacrifices did you notice
here for God is well pleased so when we show goodness to Others Jehovah is very satisfied and pleased so there is nothing greater than bringing joy to Jehovah so that was the most important reason that why we need to cultivate the goodness but it's not always easy isn't it did you notice the first um part of the scripture here do not forget that means we can get forget sometimes we get distracted with many other things in our life and as an imperfect human we may have a great intention in our heart but Sometimes we will
forget to follow through so sometimes it requires sacrifices as the verse said what sacrifice maybe can be our time and money and our energy let me illustrate this point imagine um as a husband um preparing a surprise party for wedding anniversary for his wife what's a first important step well you have to remember your wedding date correctly and then second to take some Time to think about what your wife's likes and go to the shop and buy a gift and present it well and also you got to um decorate your room nicely as well all
this effort to time and money and energy but when you see the wife's smiling faces and happy satisfaction that old effers melted down so that your sacrifice is a worthwhile isn't it and when you preparing uh this um surprise part it's always good to have Um some friends helping you out it's uh make a the process much easier likewise we also need a help from Jehovah because he's the source of the goodness and in Colossians 5:22 it says goodness is the aspect of fruitage of God's holy spirit so with Jehovah's holy spirit with his help
we can imitate his quality which is the goodness so from this talk we are going to consider how we can imitate Jehovah's Goodness by caring for others especially in three areas first to our families and second to our fellow believers you dear brothers and sisters and third the foreign foreigners people Those whom we don't know very well so first so I'm going to talk about our families if you can see from the picture here what do you see from this picture do you feel the that intense in this room obset a little bit of angry
and Unhappy faces of the children today we see so many families uh struggling around us but why is it so difficult difficult to show love and do good to our family members well Bible for told that people's attitude in the last days as um 2 Timothy chapter 3: 1 and 3 says will having no natural affection and without love of goodness yes we see this lack of love love attitudes so easily don't we Despite the difficult um the circumstances that around us is it really possible to have a peaceful and happy family life yes we
can have it is possible and we can have the um good family happiness why because do you remember God's goodness is an aspect of the frage of God's holy spirit so Jehovah as a recipe of Secret of family happiness so one of the golden recipe is In Ephesians chapter 5:33 please open your Bible to Ephesians chapter 5 and we're going to read verse 33 together Ephesians chapter 5 verse 33 it says nevertheless each one of you must love his wife as he does himself on the other hand the wife should have a deep respect for
her husband so first dear Husband it says we must love our wife as we does ourself so what he means as he does himself so when someone loves himself and if he looking at the mirror how does he react does he like scared from his face or fear of himself not at all usually he's a confident having a confident smile on his face and maybe he can showing up some muscles in front of the Mirror likewise when our wives are looking at us we wouldn't never wouldn't want them to feel fear or afraid of our
husbands rather a loving husband treats his wife kindly both at home and in the public setting and he try his best to protect her from the harmful situation and also he try his best to care for the wife's emotional and physical and spiritual needs what about our dear Wives as we um read the second part of the 33 it says a wife should have a deep respect for her husband not just respect but deep respect how can our wives do that well you can think about her husband's good qualities and the efforts he makes to
care for her and the children so maybe sometime it's not easy because of they can easily pick um our husband's um mistakes and weaknesses but to having the Deep Respect it's best to uh think about and focus about our husband's positive aspect so we and also wife can show Respect by supporting the decisions he makes and by speaking kindly to him and about about him in the public and this includes even if your husband doesn't share the same Faith or belief as you yes by applying this Bible principle a husband and wife will become more
closer to each other how about as a Parent how caring children can contribute family happiness let's see um this time we're going to move over to chapter six in Ephesians next chapter Ephesians chapter 6 verse 4 it says and fathers do not be irritating your children but go on bringing them up in the discipline and admonition of Jehovah yes Jehovah wants parents to love and train and protect their Children but how how we can do this if you have a especially a busy schedule it's not easy to do this but one of the best way
is still to find the time and have good quality time with our children well training a child can be a challenging but if you take time like um on the picture you can see on the screen if it take time and have a good time with the Children they are more likely to open their hearts wide and they might talk about what they're thinking and they will listen to you very well and also verse four it says you have to bringing them up in the discipline and admonition of Jehovah what's admonition mean it says it's
more than imparting effect effects or information it means to appeal to the moral conscience of our children in such a way that it influences his actions so In this case Jehovah's admonition is we put Jehovah's thinking and thoughts into children's mind how we can do this one a watch article suggest a very um practical um suggestion here when an issue arise try re reversing roles so ask your teen teenager children what advice he would give you if you were his child and let them think about it and let them do some research on our Publications
and to come up with um Reasons to support or challenge he thinking and then discuss the matter again within a week was such a nice um suggestion isn't it as your parents know just as growing children need a good nutrition to be strong and healthy their hearts and mind also need solid instruction to thrive you can't have a healthy tree without good root so the Bible and its principle can guide our parents in teaching their children to align their Decision with Jehovah thoughts on right and wrong so they need the reliable and solid instruction from
you not anyone else or social media or friends in the school but from new parents what is the result of applying this Bible principle in the family well as you get this picture did you see the contrast between we had had like a first picture that up in the beginning of the Talk so now you can see the happy smile on their face so by applying the Bible principle in family you can have successful and happy family and second area that we need to show goodness to others is do good to our fellow Believers you
dear brothers and sisters why why is it so important let's have a look at the reason from gal Ians chapter 6 verse 10 Galatians chapter 6 verse 10 it says so then as long as we have the opportunity let us work what is good toward all but especially toward those related to us in the faith yes he says show goodness especially toward those related to us in the faith those related to us in the facei who are they well um footnote says those who belong to the household of faith a group Of people who share
the same belief ideas or purposes those who have a close spiritual relationship with one another that's you brothers and sisters that's why we need to show goodness goodness to each other have you ever experienced oh my goodness moments from our brothers and sisters of course in this context in a good Way do you remember the co lockdown period that um we had to do um two weeks of Lo um quarantine at home what did our brothers and sisters did for us they looked after us very well they did a grocery for us and also did
um show goodness in many ways especially um early stage of the lockdown you have to ask them not just how are you but how are your toilet rolls going do you Remember that time the toilet Roll paper shortage and they even share their precious some toilet papers with us but that's just one little aspect of um showing goodness to our brothers and sisters there are so many other practical help that we can um do to our brothers maybe we see all the our brother or sister in our congregation need a transportation we can help them
our Widow in a congregation need a help in different ways we can help Them or someone seems a little bit um discouraged need some encouragement we can do we can show some encourage encouragement by phone call or text messages or even little thank you card it will help um our brothers and sisters really um helpful another great way to show goodness to our brothers and sisters is in 2 Corinthians chapter 6 please open your Bible to 2 Corinthians chapter 6 and we're going to read verse 11 and 13 Together 2 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 11
and 13 says we have opened our mouth to speak to you Corinthians and we have opened our open wide our heart verse 13 so in response I I speak as to my children you too open your hearts wide so why did Paul urge the Corinthians to widen out in their love well Paul spent himself teaching and strengthening this new congregation and developed a deep love for the Congregation brothers and sisters so Paul also want them to show genuine love towards the other fellow Believers that's why he encouraged the Corinthians to widen out by showing a
genuine love towards others how about us how we can widen out in displaying brotherly love so look at this congregation black Town congregation I heard um there are so many different um nationalities different social background age groups Different and also the language different and each member has their own likes and dislikes and might going through some difficult uh personal issues this diversity is good but sometimes may pose a challenge in our congregation right what then can help us to widen out in love and remain United despite some of the challenges one watched article um suggested
that it is wise to ask ourselves that do I Rarely share in the ministry or social activities with brothers and sisters outside my intimate group at the Kingdom Hall do I limit my association with those newly Associated because I believe that they have to earn my friendship over time or do I greet both older and younger ones in the congregation those are the questions that we can think about to show the love towards Others what can you see from this picture this is uh um before the meeting or after the meeting can you feel the
warmth of love it was like um um before the meeting here Blacktown congregation um I can see there so many um happy smiles and greeting each other hugs it's so nice to see if we widen out our circle of friends will grow and also our love also intensifies and will will unite our Worship of Jehovah and now it's a third area then we need to show goodness to others is do good to those we don't know very well my might be our neighbors because as many people fail fails to show goodness to others because of
the racial and National and social differences but how can we imitate Jehovah's goodness in this regard well when Jesus was on the earth he gave a Really good advice on this please open your Bible go to Matthew Matthew chapter 7 verse 12 Matthew 7:2 all things therefore that you want men to do to you you also must do to them this in fact is what the law and the prophets mean yes many people know this scripture as a golden rule well the term Golden Rule doesn't appear in the Bible but many use this term to
refer to a rule of conduct That Jesus taught to his disciples it encourages us to treat others as we would like to be treated to illustrate this point on a very hot day you played um sports with your m and then you're now hot sweating and thirsty but if someone offers you a I chilled water how would you feel you'd feel very appreciated to him yes we appreciate it when others treat us with respect and kindness and Love so as a true Christian how can we apply this Golden Rule there are a few um s
good suggestions from the article I'm going to um read you three um practical way that we can show the love to those who we don't know very well the first one is by being observant pay close attention to those around us for instance we may see someone struggling to carry grocery or Hear a neighbor who is hospitalized when we look out for the interests of others we will likely find Opportunities to say or do something helpful that was by being observant and second area is by showing empathy put put ourselves in our shoes um in
their shoes how would you feel if you were in the same situation when you try to understand the feelings of others is you may feel moved To help them M what about third suggestion by being by staying flexible keep in mind that everyone is different what others would like to have done for them may not be the same as what you like to do have done for you so out of the many things you could do try to choose what they will appreciate the most yes by showing Christian love and do good to even those
we don't know very Well they will also have the opportunity of experiencing Jehovah's goodness in their lives and lastly one of the best way to show Jehovah's goodness is showing goodness to others by preaching the Good News from the Bible so many today suffer from the world lack of love and lack of goodness and sometimes we feel very cold because of the people's attitude around us clearly they need a good News because of that Jehovah's Witnesses voluntarily take a positive action to help others to learn The Marvelous hope found in the Bible we just speak
to all sorts of people and every appropriate opportunity despite some some of the oppositions from others or even um government because it's not just matter of their uh likes or dislikes we consider this work as life-saving work and we do this out of love and Kindness when we try our best to show goodness to others Jehovah will promise promise US the new Paradise Earth now we will see the last picture on the screen would that be great if we all can live a world full of goodness in everywhere we go everywhere we see but to
have this peaceful and loving Paradise we need a government not humans but God's K God's kingdom and God promised us it will Happen on the earth very soon so until then let us imitate Jehovah's goodness by caring for others first we discuss about in the family so we discussed the Ephesians chapter 5:33 and chapter 6 ver4 and second show goodness to our brothers and sisters to our fellow Believers and we discussed the Galatians chapter 6: 10 and 2 Corinthians chapter 6 11 and 13 and third to show goodness to the foreigners People those we don't
know very well our neighbors and the Golden Rule Matthew 7:12 yes we can imitate and cultivate Jehovah's goodness because it's a quality from God's holy spirit so let us continue to ask Jehovah in prayers to help us to imitate his goodness then Jehovah God the greatest example of goodness will bless us and reward us for all the good work that we've done yes the work what is good Toward all well thanks brother park for taking us through that talk today to really show us some fine principles or highlight some fine principles from God's word that
we can work good toward all in a few areas in our family Circle in congregation and also to to people in general so we thank you for that well if this is your first time here at one of our meetings we have a public discourse at the same time next week at 10: a.m. next week's theme will Be stay awake why and how so we invite you to that but now for the second part of our meeting the study for the watcht we invite brother krupi to the platform we very much look forward to our
study today it's part of this uh series that we started last week uh this part is entitled um well study article 32 it's entitled Jehovah wants all to repent our theme scripture is taken from second Peter chapter 3:9 where it says Jehovah does not Desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance so we see that repentance is uh really important for us to have a relationship with Jehovah and we have a look at the focus there and the focus of this discussion is to understand what repentance is why it is necessary
and how Jehovah has helped people of all kinds to repent so very interesting Focus so without further Ado let's invite our reader brother krider To read paragraph one for us when we do something wrong it is vital that we repent in the ible a person who repents changes his mind about a certain kind of behavior stops behaving in that way and is determined not to repeat it okay so question one what is involved in Repentance thanks uh Sister Kim bethia through the glossery of repentance in the biblical use it describes a person Who has who
has a change of mind accompanied by Heartfelt regret over a formal way of life wrong actions or the one that has failed to do so in this way a person who has genuine repentance would stop behaving in a sinful way and be determined not to repeat it which would result as it said in Matthew 3:8 produce fruit that befits repentance very nice well summarized for us very good so that uh gives us a base understanding of what we're going to be Talking about so let's have a look at paragraph two thanks brother Crowder every human
alive needs to learn about repentance why because we all sin daily as descendants of Adam and Eve each of us has inherited sin and death not one of us is exempt even outstanding men of Faith such as the Apostle Paul struggled against sin does this mean that we should be Miserable all the time because of our sins no Jehovah is merciful and he wants us to be happy consider the experience of the Jews in nehemiah's day Jehovah did not want them to be grief stricken over past sins but wanted them to be joyful in their
worship of him Jehovah knows that repentance leads to happiness so he teaches us about it if we repent of our sins we can be confident that our merciful father will Forgive us okay let's get a reader for Nehemiah 8 verse 9-1 thanks we'll get brother Eli Gallow please and Nehemiah who was then the governor and Nehemiah who was then the governor asra the priest and the copyist and the Levites who were instructing the people said to all the people this day is Holy to Jehovah your God do not mourn or weep for all the people
were weeping as they heard the words of the law he Said to them go eat the choice things and drink what is sweet and send portions of food to those who have nothing prepared for this day is Holy to our Lord and do not feel sad for the joy of Jehovah is your stronghold and the Levites who were calming all the people saying be quiet for this day is Holy and do not feel sad nicely read thanks brother Eli so a question on paragraph two why do we all need to learn about repentance thanks uh
brother tearian Because we all say daily yes very true okay and um good brother Albert all people on Earth must need to know about repentance because uh we are the we are descendants of Adam and Eve of each of us as inherited sins and death and no one is Exempted on this does this mean that we should be miserable all the time because of our sins no because our god Jehovah is a merciful god and he wants us to be happy All the time very good thanks uh brother Albert sister um Lim Esther limb um
when the Israelites were weeping over their past sins nemiah inspired by God encouraged them to Rejoice Jehovah never wants us to remain weighed down by past mistakes instead he has w us to find Joy knowing that we can restore our friendship with him again yes very good and that's really focusing in on the reality of what Jehovah wants for us isn't it that we can have that restored Relationship well let's uh close out our opening paragraphs with three things brother cder let us learn more about repentance in this article we will consider three aspects first
we will learn what Jehovah taught Israel about repentance then we will focus on how Jehovah reached out to sinners in order to lead them to repentance finally we will discuss what Jesus followers learned about Repentance okay so paragraph three our question what will we consider in this article thanks brother Denzel first we will learn what Jehovah taught Israel about repentance yes very good and thanks for leaving the other two let's who wants to tell us what the second one is um yeah we get young an on then we will focus on how Jehovah reached out
to sinners in order to lead them to repentance yes very good and the final one uh thanks sister Lorina finally we will discuss what Jesus followers learned about repentance yes so three really important aspects so we're going to break them down now our first subheading what Jehovah taught Israel about repentance let's have a look at paragraph four thanks brother cder when Jehovah organized the Israelites into a nation he made a covenant a formal agreement with them if they kept his laws he would protect and bless them regarding those law laws he Assured them now this
Commandment that I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you nor is it beyond your reach but if they rebelled against him for example by choosing to worship other gods he would withdraw his Blessing and they would suffer yet even then they could still regain God's favor they could return to Jehovah God and listen into his voice in other words they could repent if they did so Jehovah would draw Close to them and bless them once more paragraph four our question what did Jehovah teach the nation of Israel about repentance okay I think
that's young Desi thanks Jehovah made an agreement with the Israelites if they obeyed him he will protect them and bless them about those laws he said to them now his Commandment that I am commanding to you is not too difficult for you nor is it beyond your reach but they disobey Jehovah they could repent if they did Jehovah will bless them once more very nice thanks Desi beautiful comment okay thanks sister Vino and we see that reflected in theor 31-3 Jehovah says that if they sin but after he said um but you if you return
to Jehovah your god listen to his voice H your and your sons with all your heart and your soul Jehovah God will bring them back and show mercy so Jehovah was telling them but if you come Back I forgive you and I will go grow close to you I'm going to come back close to you you come back to me and he is always ready to forgive and get closer to us because he loves us yes very good so when you reflect on just those few verses there in Deuteronomy what do you realize about Jehova
and his desire towards people thanks brother Bic well Jehovah wants us to keep not Only maintain our relationship with him but sometimes we need to repair it but he's not a micromanager of our actions but he also quite clearly says well it's not beyond our reach you know if we take certain steps and listen to his counsel coming from the Bible we can accomplish it then he doesn't expect more from us than what we can give yes so there's a great deal of compassion and kindness thanks brother Wilson yeah Jov uh knows we dust he
knows we're Sinners and uh quite often we can't help that however we some sometimes do go down the wrong path but if we come back J is all too happy to have us back he wants us to come back he's uh when we're off the track Jehovah is trying to get us back on the track and when we come back we might uh feel bit sad by what well quite sad by what we've done in the past but Jehovah doesn't want us to be sad anymore because that is now forgiven It's as if it never
happened so to Jehovah he just wants us to be happy and he's very happy to have us back with him yes so really powerful lesson that Jehovah's teaching the nation let's have a look further as we look at paragraph 5 thanks brother cder Jehovah's chosen people repeatedly rebelled against him in addition to practicing idolatry They carried out other degraded Practices as a result they suffered but Jehovah did not give up on his Wayward people he sent prophets again and again to urge his people to repent and return to him let's get a reader for 2
Kings 17 verse 13 and 14 and we'll get uh sister resta M thanks Jehovah kept warning Israel and Judah throughout through All His prophets and every Visionary saying turn back from your Wicked Ways keep my Commandments and my statutes according to all the law that I had commen that I commanded your forefathers and that I sent to you through my servants the prophets but they did not listen and they remained just as stubborn as their forefathers who had not shown faith in Jehovah their God lovely thanks for reading that so our question on five how
did Jehovah show that he did not give up on his people okay um we'll Have sister doden first because he love his people so much he kept on sending prophets again and again to urge his people to repent and return to him yes thank you um sister an thanks chapter 17 verse 1314 highlights Jehovah continually warned his people through His prophets asking them to turn from their wrong ways and obey his Commandments all although they ref refused to listen and remained stubborn Jobah repeated his efforts demonstrated his patient and desire for their repentance yes very
good and thanks for bringing that those points from our read scripture brother Steven Lim please yeah and uh you know when we look at the history uh we we're reminded that this happened not just once or or twice uh but this was repeated several times for over a thousand years uh but Jehovah continued to reach out to them so we keep that in mind too yes very good Thanks brother crder and we see a real contrast between their heavenly father and them you know just focusing on that word stubborn you know they they were unreasonable
Jehovah was reaching out to them but we see how Jehovah was being very reasonable with them you know we can just imagine you know how said you know turn back from your wicked way so he was pleading with them but again they were unreasonable yes we'll get you to read paragraph 6 Vol [Music] there Jehovah often used His prophets to warn and correct his people for example God said through Jeremiah return o Renegade Israel I will not look down angrily on you for I am loyal I will not stay resent ful forever only acknowledge your
guilt for you have rebelled against Jehovah by means of Joel Jehovah said Return to me with all your Hearts he had Isaiah declare make yourselves clean remove your evil Deeds From My Sight stop doing bad and by means of Ezekiel Jehovah asked do I take any pleasure at all in the death of a wicked person do I not prefer that he turn away from his ways and keep living I do not take any pleasure in the death of anyone so turn back and live Jehovah takes Delight in seeing people repent because he wants them to
Keep living forever so Jehovah does not just wait passively for sinful people to change before he offers them help let us see some other examples of this okay paragraph six and we've also got the picture there to comment on how did Jehovah use His prophets to teach his people the importance of repentance thanks brother Barnett we we can see how important repentance was to Jehovah we look at Jeremiah 3:12 and13 it's almost like Jehovah's pleading with his people he said return o Renegade Israel I will not look down angrily on you for I am loyal
I will not stay resentful forever only acknowledge your guilt for you have rebelled against Jehovah so jeah just didn't sit back silently and let his people work out what they had to do on their own he told them clearly what they needed to do um before he would offer help and that was to repent acknowledge Their sins turn around and and change their ways yes very good okay uh sister mlan please through Isaiah Jehovah told the people to stop doing bad learn to do good and if they were repentant he said though your sins are
like Scarlet they will be made as white as snow so Jehovah vividly described how clean he would view his people if they Ed very good and brother mlan and a picture also helps us to Appreciate here with the prophets the time period that this covered so there was some I think my math is correct about 240 years between Joel and Jeremiah's prophecy that was written and we know that that extends right down to our day so we can see Jehovah continually uh showing that repentant attitude to us yes very good um sister cder and Ezekiel
18: 23 there Jehovah makes it very clear that he does not take Pleasure in the death of a wicked person but rather they turn away from their bad ways and keep living so we see that Jehovah wants all to keep living and gain life yes very good okay um Sister Christina please and also uh Jehovah used his Prophet to each to each his PE to teach his people the importance of repentance like what Joel chapter 2:12 said Return to me with all your heart so they encouraging them Repentant and come back to Jehovah yes very
good and sister melencio please so we can see how loving Jehovah is he just not wait there possibly and just say okay they can change and wait a day but rather he uses um the prophets and also he offer helps how to do it yes very good um sister that please from all this we can really see how Jehovah Longs us to live forever uh As we can see that uh he has been asking his people to be repentant because uh we can see from the scriptures that sin and death are related so only when
we acknowledge our sins and repent we will have a chance of living forever which is Jehovah's will yes very good so Jehovah's example in extending the opportunity to repent is extraordinary isn't it and it seems to have no limits well let's have a look a little further in paragraph 7 and see what else we Learn about this notice what Jehovah taught his people by means of a real life example that of Gom the wife of the Prophet Hosea after committing adultery she left Hosea for other men was she beyond help Jehovah who can read Hearts
told Hosea go once again love the woman who is loved by another man and is committing adultery just as Jehovah loves the people of Israel while they turn to Other gods note that hosea's wife was still involved in a course of serious sin yet Jehovah told Hosea to reach out to her and offer forgiveness and Reconciliation similarly Jehovah had not given up on his obstinate people even though they were caught up in terrible sins he still loved them and contined to reach out and help them to repent and change their ways does this example suggests
that Jehovah The Examiner of Hearts will reach out to an individual who is still involved in serious sin and try to lead that one to repentance let us see paragraph 7 our question using the account of the Prophet Hosea and his wife what did Jehovah teach his people thanks so sister Oliva Proverbs 17 verse3 says the refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold but Jehovah is the Examiner of Hearts the process of refining gold is quite a skillful task and what's involved is pretty impressive but just like how gold is refined Jehovah
looks into our hearts and wants to take the effort into refining that too he doesn't give up on us and the example of GMA and Hosea is a lesson for us to remember just how far Jehovah will go to bring us back to him he reaches out and wants to help people change their ways despite Perpetual sinning Proving none of us are beyond help yes very good brother Arius please the example that he used uh with regards to the prophet hasia and his wife G really shows us the depth of Jehovah's willingness to wait and
to show forgiveness when he asked uh the prophet hasia to take back his wife uh his wife was not repenting she had not repented because she is committing adultery she was still living in sin yet what the prophet had actioned was really Demonstrating to the nation of Israel Jehovah's willingness to forgive and wait for people to change yes very good okay and sister Ben please and we know that in some cultures uh for women to commit adultery is worth a death sentence but in contrast with Jehovah God even though he has uh ultimate power and
he has rights to restore or end some somebody's life but Jehovah doesn't abuse his power instead he extend his Mercy to people because he Wants everyone to live very nice thanks for that and uh brother Gonzalez so we can understand that through this account the go oia and goer Jehovah show show it that even if his people committed serious sins there was always an opportunity for for forgiveness and Reconciliation reflecting his desire to restore his relationship with them yes very good so an interesting pattern isn't it to demonstrate a particular um Capacity of Jehovah when
it comes to repentance but the footnote just helps us to qualify this example what's it helping us to appreciate uh thanks brother um personally I have thought about ourselves and Jehovah does not require us to remain uh married to to an adulter uh we may or may not choose to give up on the adulterer but Jehovah himself never give UPS on the people who commits adultery and accepts them whenever they Repent he wanted to take teach us his willingness unlimited willingness to forgive repentant in uals uh through this example yes really very nice so it
raises this next area that we want to think about uh which is the subheading here how Jehovah lead Sinners to repentance so let's read paragraph eight thanks brother crder Cain was Adam and Eve's first son he inherited sinful Tendencies from his parents additionally The Bible says of him his own Works were Wicked perhaps that explains why Jehovah did not look with any favor on Cain and on his offering when he offered up a sacrifice instead of changing his ways Cain grew hot with anger and was dejected what did Jehovah do next he spoke to Cain
note that Jehovah reasoned kindly with Cain offering him hope and warning him against the danger of sin sadly Cain refused to listen he did Not let Jehovah lead him to repentance after that negative response did Jehovah stop trying to lead other Sinners to repentance far from it okay so paragraph 8 let's get a reader for Genesis 4 verse 3-7 thanks brother Ben after some time Cain brought some fruits of the land as an offering to Jehova but Abel brought some firstlings of his flock including their fat while Jehovah looked with favor on Abel and his
Offering he did not look with any favor on Cain and on his offering so Cain grew hot with anger and was dejected and Jehovah said to Cain why are you so angry and dejected if you turn to doing good will you not be restored to favor but if you do not turn to doing good sin is crouching at the door and its craving is to dominate you but will you get the Mastery over it thanks very much uh brother Ben nicely read so paragraph 8 we've got the Question and we've also got a picture to
consider how did Jehovah reach out to Cain in order to lead him to repentance uh let's get sister Lim on Zoom thanks uh sister Yong Shin he did not immediately give up on him and patiently help him to repent so Genesis 46-7 said Jehovah said to Cain why are you so angry and dejected if you turn to doing good will you not be restored to favor but if you do not turn to doing R sin is crouching at the door And is craving it to dominate you so by kindly um reasoning and offering him hope
and warning him against the danger of sin very nice thanks sister Yong Shin um sister Park please and I like Jehovah asked a very searching question to k um Kan in verse 7 he asked will you get the Mastery over it so it really shows that Jehovah is reasonable God that he still had a positive view that um Cain has a capacity of doing good and he made sure That Kane understood that there would be blessing for doing so yes very nice thanks for that um thanks sister melencio I just like the way it's been
said in the paragraph that um in spite of um Cain's attitude uh still Jehovah reasoned kindly to Kan he didn't say so what so he just really kindly uh reasoned with Kan so he's offering him hope and warning against the danger of Sin yes very good and sister Vino please and also evidently Jehovah have seen already a problems with K's heart because he rejected said while Jehovah looked with favor on Abel he did not look with any favor on Cain it was the motive what was in the heart so the same thing happened here Jehovah
knew that that son had an issue so that's why he kindly was trying to help him talking to him H because he knew that he could do Something else yes very good it's interesting isn't it the sacrifices were different but that wasn't really what wasn't finding favor with Jehovah verse 17 gives us the key and that's kind of been brought out what what were the difference uh in these two individuals really thanks brother Barnett it was their motive what was in their heart kan's Works were were were Wicked and it's interesting if we look at
the bigger picture Jehovah didn't see it as Some litus test and give up on the rest of the Human family was far from it he he kept trying to lead others to repentance also yes and if you look at this picture what uh what's that helping us to appreciate thanks brother Arius well he had the opportunity not to hear uh this be beautiful advice from a prophet he was hearing it directly from Jehovah so he looks like he's turning his back because he's listening to Someone speak to him so he had the opportunity to pay
attention but as it highlights he refused to listen yes and we know where this ended up don't we um so was Jehovah going to give up warning people because obviously this particular individual didn't pay heed well let's have a look further in paragraph nine Jehovah dearly loved King David he even called him a man agreeable to my heart but David became involved in Gross sins including adultery and Murder according to the Mosaic law David deserved to die yet Je Jehovah kindly stepped in he sent his Prophet Nathan to visit the king even though David had
not yet shown any sign of repentance Nathan used an illustration designed to touch David's heart deeply moved David repented he wrote a heartfelt Psalm that Reveals His repentant spirit that Psalm has comforted countless Sinners and motivated them to Repent are we not glad that Jehovah lovingly LED his beloved servant David to repentance paragraph nine how did Jehovah lead David to repentance um let have Sister Charlotte please although King David had involved with gross sins Jehovah still wanted to help him so he sent his Prophet Nathan to help show repentance repent repentance Jehovah helped King David
by using illustrations to help David heart Which led David to deeply repent very nice thanks for that sister alisan and from how Jehovah sent Nathan to David we can see that Jehovah wanted to find a basis to extend Mercy to him although he had committed a serious sin punishable by death and instead of forcing David to confess his sins Nathan used an illustration that highlighted the seriousness of David's sins and stirred up his heart moving him to Repent yes that was a very beautiful example wasn't it cuz Nathan could have come in and just read
the riot act to David and told him how wrong he was and how sinful he was but what what was particularly beautiful about the way this was handled thanks brother Vina well we could say it was handled in a very tactful way because he presented something that was close to the um to a Shepherd to the heart of David the Situation of a rich man and a poor man and without telling him what was wrong David was able to see that he was in the position of uh this rich man that took advantage of the
poor man and took something that was the only thing that the poor man had so this um and David we came to this conclusion by himself without anyone blaming him directly yes and that's very powerful isn't it to be brought to that by your own logic and that's how Jehovah very kindly helped David and that's really an example uh that we could learn from um what else came out of all of this what uh what do we learn from David's U repentance here thanks sister mullik yes he was compelled to write a heartfelt Psalm and
that re that revealed his repentant Spirit as in Psalms chapter 51 uh there a super scription there and because of this um is this also comforting for countless Sinners and it has motivated them to repent themselves today yes very nice and brother Park please the paragraph says Nathan used an illustration designed to touch David's heart and as I read this um sentence um I thought we could use this apply in our ministry he taught me the importance of using illustration on our Bible study or at um written visit or at the door if you were
prepared using use the illustration then it will help us to Teach his scriptural point and Jehovah can move the person to take the truth very good let's uh read paragraph 10 thanks brother Cora Jehovah hates sin and he does not condone it in any form however he knows that we are all sinners and not of love for us he chooses to help us to fight against sin he is always trying to help even the worst of Sinners to repent and draw close to him how comforting it is to Know that as we reflect on Jehovah's
patience and forgiveness we are determined to stay faithful to him and to be quick to repent when we sin let us now consider how the Christian congregation was further taught about repentance so our question on 10 how do you feel about Jehovah's patience and forgiveness in dealing with sinful humans Let's uh ask the finny family on Zoom please well we should be very grateful That Jehovah has this uh view of uh the way to uh help Sinners it isn't something that he has to do but as we've been able to see something that he wants
to do and uh we're very um happy about all of that thanks very much brother Ry okay um just down the back row there I feel immense gratitude to Jehovah knowing that we are fragile Sinners and weak but he extends his love Understanding and mercy to all of us we should never underestimate his capacity to forgive us no matter how repetitive small or big our sins may be so it should drive us to try our best to be worthy of that love to repent for our sins and to renew our faith every day very nice
and uh we'll have um Gabby sister Gabby down the front here Psalms 54 um says in part for you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness we know Jehovah hates sin at All costs but he chooses to help us fight against it moved by his love for imperfect Sinners he will help even the worst of Sinners if they truly repent and want to do better for Jehovah and God doesn't hold a grudge he gives Open Arms to anyone who wants to return to him and if they truly repent and change their sins will
not even come to his mind they'll be erased and forgotten and that is truly loving lovely thanks for that answer and sister Vanessa Sone Please Jehovah's patience um with us will constantly exceed our understanding the way he chooses to fight for us even if we don't want to at the time just proves his intense love for us because he does remember that we're dust but he will never treat us like that and this motivates us to repent quickly when we make mistakes because we know he's ready to forgive excellent so that brings us now to
this next subheading what jesus' followers learned about repentance let's Uh read 11 and 12 thanks brother kler in the first century CE the time had come for the Messiah to arrive as mentioned in the preceding article Jehovah used both John the Baptist and Jesus Christ to teach people how important it is to repent throughout his ministry Jesus taught his listeners about his father's forgiving nature Jesus did so in a striking way when he gave the parable of the lost Son that young man chose to pursue a sinful way of life for some time yet he
came to his senses and returned home how did the father respond Jesus said that while the son was still a long way off his father caught sight of him and was moved with pity and he ran and embraced him and Tenderly kissed him the son intended to ask if he could become a servant in his father's household but his father called him this Son of mine and restored him to his place in the family the father said he was lost and has been found when Jesus lived in heaven before coming to Earth he had surely
seen his father show such compassion toward countless repentant Sinners what a heartwarming and reassuring picture Jesus painted of our merciful father Jehovah okay so very powerful illustration we've got the question on 11 and 12 what did Jesus teach his listeners about his father's forgiving nature and we've also got the picture to consider here as well thanks sister Ashley limb um Jesus used the parable of the prodigal son and we can just imagine the father day after day looking down the path in front of his house um hoping for his son to return um and when
he did he ran and embraced and Tenderly kissed him so the father warmly welcomed him home Without demanding a detailed explanation and he closed him with the best and orders A Feast for him making it clear that his son was being welcomed back his family um so Jehovah's the father's loving Nature Made it easier for the son to confess his sins um and this teaches us how ready Jehovah is to forgive and it's a perfect reflection of how Jehovah welcomes his sheep back to the flock yes very nice um thanks Sister um eser Lim please
the picture captures Luke 1520 I really like this verse 20 while the sun was still a long way off his father didn't wait for him to come all the way instead he ran to him and even kissed him before the son could say a word Jehovah The Examiner of heart notices even the smallest positive change in us when he sees that change he will so to speak run to help us draw close to him yeah it's very nice brother Doden please yeah in the paragraph highlighted as well how how Jesus knew these things he he
not only um knew about the forgiving nature of his father but he has witnessed it he has experienced it the parity that he leave life in heaven before coming to Earth so he saw Jehovah extending Mercy to uh repenting sinners like we learned last week about the king of Israel the wor of of the kind that I think of is manasa how Jehovah despite All the wickedness of this King he extended Mercy when um when that King uh uh repented so now that he's on Earth he he wanted to um to teach his followers about
Jehovah and the Beautiful um story about uh that father and forgiving his son is who Jehovah really is extending wide open his arm to repented Sinners yes very good um thanks uh brother Lim yeah and I think this illustration helped me to realize uh if I ever doubted Jehovah's Forgiveness um I could just try to imagine you know if I was if I was a father and and if my son came to me uh and said you know father I've sinned I'm fully aware of the mistakes I've made you know would I ever be like
no no no no not good enough you no no I you know I would say you know my dear son you know come here and and if I and for me person could feel that you could imagine the perfect father how much more kind gentle And reasonable he would be with anybody who comes to him uh with a a contrite heart a sorry for what they did and just ready to embrace them yes there's another little detail in this account that really underscores Jehovah's um feelings about this thanks brother mcline I'm not sure if this
is what you're after brother Phil but the point that I I took from it was that the son Just wanted to come back and be part of the household but the father blessed him and it's the same too with those that repent and return to Jehovah then not don't just come back as an individual they do come back as an individual but Jehovah blesses them and they can be used more in service to Jehovah time to come yeah so really powerful isn't it to understand that Jehovah's doesn't want you just on the edge he wants
you back in the Middle so we can really be warmed by that thanks brother cder we'll get you to read after your comment as as we see in the picture again we can see how hard it is for some to to come back and to be repentful but Jehovah makes it easy for him you know with his Open Arms he he makes it easy he want want some as that scripture highlighted um that he tenderly kissed and embraced him what a what a loving God that we have yes okay let's have a look at 13
and 14 the Apostle Peter learned a great deal from Jesus about repentance and forgiveness Peter often needed forgiveness and Jesus extended it generously for example after Peter denied knowing his Lord three times he felt crushed by his own guilt but after Jesus was resurrected he appeared to Peter apparently in private no doubt on that occasion Jesus lovingly forgave and reassured his repentant Apostle having had firsthand experience Peter could Now teach others about repentance and forgiveness sometime after the Festival of Pentecost Peter gave a discourse to a crowd of unbelieving Jews explaining to them that they
had put the Messiah to death yet he lovingly urged them repent therefore and turn around so as to get your sins blooded out so that seasons of refreshing may come from Jehovah himself Peter thus showed that Repentance moves a sinner to turn around to change his wrong way of thinking and acting and to Purser a new course one pleasing to God the Apostle also showed that Jehovah would blot out their sins or cause their sins to disappear and decades later Peter assured Christians Jehovah is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be
destroyed but desires all to attain to Repentance what a beautiful hope for Christians when they commit sins even serria ones okay paragraph 13 and 14 and we've got another picture that goes along with this that we'll consider the question what did the Apostle Peter learn about repentance and what did he teach others about it thanks brother har well after denying Jesus four three times Peter was crushed under this guilt But uh when Jesus Jus was resurrected he appeared to Peter personally and most likely privately and assured him that his sin is Forgiven assured him that
Jehovah will forgive and accept him again and that's why he was able to extend this forgiveness for others later on yes very good than thank sister y chin liim on Zoom x39 said uh repent therefore for and turn around so as to get your sin Blooded out so the seasons of refreshing may come from Jehovah himself so with firsthand experience Peter was now able to teach others about repentance and forgiveness and he spoke to a cloud crowd of unbelieving Jews gently urg them to turn around and P you a new course one pleasing to ja
yes very good and um thanks sister melencio because of what Peter learned and experienced in our team text he assured us that Jehovah is patient with You because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desire all to attain to repentance on 2 Peter 3:9 so this is a really a beautiful and wonderful hope for all Christians up to us until these days whoever commit um sins will be Jehovah will be readily forgiving us and even it's a serious ones yes very good thanks sister crder there's a saying I forgive but I won't forget
in reference to Acts chapter 3 verse 19 Peter said there that Your sins will be blotted out the reference work brought out that the Greek ver the Greek verb used here has been defined to cause to Disappear by wiping it conveys the idea to remove so as to leave no Trace so when Jehovah forgives he blots out that sin completely yes very good just there's a a note there um about uh the study note and Peter because if you look in mark 16:7 seven the invitation but go tell his Disciples and Peter um what's the
significance of all that after all Peter was one of the disciples anyway wasn't he thanks sister valerino that when Jesus Resurrected he went first to Peter so he was forgiven him after he went to the 12 so that shows the kind of forgiveness that he showed towards Peter and that's why he could say in second Peter how much Jehovah forgives yes think about how Peter might have been feeling as well he he would have felt like he'd let Jesus down and was now unworthy so an invitation to the disciples Peter might have assumed well that's
you know I don't qualify or something like that so we see the kindness in in the way Jesus acted here and called him out in that way um how do you think this experience of Peter's then impacted on the way he would help people in the future now we've we've had That one example but how do you think Peter now feels about those who have missed the mark or sinned personally thanks sister that sander uh Peter would be so enthusiastic and motivated to tell others to be repent because he himself has uh felt that load
lifted up his uh crushed bone being cured so he would want others also to have the same feeling and he would um tell them uh eagerly as the brothers and Sisters have mentioned in the scriptures that he asked them to repent yes very good and brother mlan please yeah and if we think about our discussion of the watch that today the the key scripture was written by Peter so they again showing us that we need to repent yes and we've got our picture here that you know shows the situation with Peter and how much difference
did it make to Peter the conversation that Jesus now was able to have with him thanks brother BK well um Peter was able to understand also the forgiveness and the uh and uh the personal EXP experience of knowing your own faults and your weaknesses can take away that bit of self-righteousness about uh is either going to be a difference between lecturing someone or helping them along the way to repentance because of your own personal experience And that's what Jesus helped Peter to see yes very good thanks brother cder so we see Peter alone with his
thoughts we know he loved Jesus very much so after denying knowing him um being alone he no doubt was crushed in his heart and his Spirit uh not knowing where to go from there but then Jesus just reassuring him of of his love and his Mercy um uh was so powerful and that something he could take forward to to teach others yes so really perfectly Reflecting the way Jehovah would deal with a a situation so very comforting to appreciate that and really highlighting how important true repentance is in restoring a relationship with Jehovah well let's
look at our final two paragraphs 15 and 16 thanks brother crder few people have ever needed to repent and be forgiven more than Saul of Tarsus he was a vicious persecutor of Christ's beloved Followers most Christians likely viewed him as a lost cause Beyond any hope of repentance yet the resurrected Jesus was far above such flawed human reasoning he and his father saw good qualities in Saul Jesus said this man is a chosen vessel to me Jesus even used a miracle to lead Saul to repentance after becoming a Christian Saul later known as the Apostle
Paul often expressed his appreciation for the Way he had been shown kindness and Mercy The Grateful Apostle taught God in his kindness is trying to lead you to repentance when Paul heard about a scandalous problem regarding immorality in the Christian congregation in Corinth how did he handle it he did so in a way that teaches us a great deal about Jehovah's loving discipline and about the importance of showing Mercy we will consider that account in Greater detail in the foll article thanks for your fine Reading today brother C we really enjoyed that let's get a
reader for 1 Timothy 1:2 to5 thanks sister Schmidt I'm grateful to Christ Jesus our lord who imparted power to me because he considered me faithful by assigning me as Ministry although formerly I was a blasphemer and a persecutor and an insolent man nevertheless I was shown Mercy because I acted in ignorance and with lack of faith but the undeserved kindness of Our Lord abounded Exceedingly along with Fai and the love that is in Christ Jesus this saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance Christ Jesus came into the world to save Sinners of these and
foremost thanks for your fine reading sister Giza so our question question on 15 and 16 the a question how did the Apostle Paul learn about forgiveness thanks brother Gonzalez Paul learns about forgiveness by reflecting on his own experience of Repentance and the mercy he received from Jehovah and despite having having Cru persecuted Christ followers he was forgiven and became a chosen instrument of Jesus and in first Timothy 1: 12-15 Paul Express his gratitude for the kindness of and mercy that Jehovah show him noting that his transformation is an example of Divine Mercy of Jehovah thanks
brother onean uh brother Lim please yeah and it also makes me think Um in verse 15 uh you know we know this is the truth uh we know that if we repent that Jehovah will forgive us but the question is uh like like Paul here uh know do you believe this because he says this saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance so we might know the truth but the question is uh if we struggle to accept that forgiveness uh we we should ask ourselves you know do we believe this and accept it with full
confidence That he does forgive repentance Sinners yes very good and brother um har please even most Christians in the first century they look at Peter as Beyond any hope of repentance but Jesus saw in him that he he's going to be a good vessel a chosen vessel for the nation and the Apostle Paul himself in the scriptures we just said he showed his appreciation for Jehovah and Jesus mercy and forgiveness yes very good and it's interesting isn't it even in those words Down in verse 15 he he wasn't um fooling himself he he openly admitted
his need to be repentant and to follow through and change his course said I'm the foremost of these Sinners so a very powerful lesson there and a real expression of um Jehovah's ability to accept repentant ones and forgive them have your eyes been open a little further on the matter of uh repentance today well hopefully so and it sets the scene for next week's discussion uh with The B question what will we consider in the following article thanks sister Millenia um this is when Paul heard about the scandalous problem regarding immorality in the Christian congregation
in Corinth and then it explain how we handle it in a way that will teach great deal about Jehovah's loving discipline and importance of showing mercy and the great detail of that will be discussed next week yes so it's a bit of a case Study isn't it to see how we can properly handle such matters so let's have a look at the review questions how would you answer what did Jehovah teach Israel about repentance let's go to the zes on Zoom please je je made a covenant a form of agreement with the Israelites and it
says that the law was that they will keep his laws and will protect and Jehovah will protect them and bless them and the Deuteronomy 30:1 it says now This Commandment that I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you nor it is beyond your reach so even though if the Israelites rebelled against Jehovah their blessing would have been um Jehovah would um withdraw his Blessing and uh later if they return to Jehovah they Jehovah will return their listen to their voices and Jehovah will draw closer to them and bless them once more yes
very good so the next point there did Jehovah lead Sinners to Repentance thanks brother Ben in the case of Cain Jehovah kindly reasoned with him expressing confidence in Cain's capacity to do good and hope of being restored to favor while also warning what would happen if he did not repent very nice thanks brother Ben sister krupi King David became involved in Gross sins including adultery and murder and according to the Mosaic law he deserved to die for that yet Jehovah lovingly Sent Nathan to help him and lead him to repentance yes very good and then
finally how did jesus' followers learn about repentance thanks sister mlan from the illustration of The Prodigal Son along with Peter and Paul's own personal experiences we learn that repentance leads to True forgiveness from Jehovah that when he sees those with a repentant heart he is eager to show his love for them make things right Between them again and refresh them with blessings yes very good so it's really powerful to appreciate Jehovah's desire uh for us to repent and that he really is wanting to deal with us in a very merciful way so never be fearful
of an outcome should we find ourselves in a situation that requires us to turn around from a wrong course Jehovah is willing and very uh desirous of us making that change well thanks for your comments and your preparation we've Really appreciated that today okay well that brings us to the end of our program so let's uh sing a song it's entitled throw your burden on Jehovah it's song 33 and following that we'll invite our speaker today brother Park and thanks for coming along and staying as well we've appreciated your company uh to close in prayer
so song 33 throw your burden on Jehovah hello again everyone welcome back to our Channel in today's video we're going to be Considering a quick summary about some of the main points related with the study article for this weekend October 19th to 20th 2024 so friends we welcome you thanks for joining us and now let's Jump Right In and a good question to think about it what comes to your mind when you hear the word repentance that's what this article is about understanding what repentance is and why is it necessary and how God has Helped
people of all kinds to repent and let's get straight something really important when we do something wrong it's vital that we repent in the scriptures a person who repents changes his mind about a certain kind of behavior but not just that the person stops behaving in that way and is determined not to repeat it of course this is genuine repentance but on the other hand there is false Repentance crocodile tears the person is just crying before others but it's just the person expressing what others want to hear is just public shame but the TR the
fact is the person is not truly repentant so friends all we need to learn about repentance there is a significant fact all we are sinners and it doesn't matter our country our nationality our social status a race where we are Located it doesn't really matter or we are sinners and this is something that we receive from our parents because we are descendants of Adam and Eve each of us has inher ited sin and death that's what the scripture says at Romans 3:23 probably you remember that scripture for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God 512 reminds us That is why just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin and so so death spread to all men because they had all seen it so no one of us is exempt of this that's the fact and it doesn't matter if we agree with the statement with these scriptures the fact is the same even outstanding men of Faith such as the Apostle Paul struggled against sin if we read about it in the scriptures For example at Romans 7:21 to2 24 he said about his struggle
with sin I find them this law in my case when I wish to do what is right what is B is present with me I really Delight in the law of God according to the man I'm within but I see in my body another law woring against the law of my mind and leading me captive to sin's law that is in my body Mr bban that I am who will rescue me from the body undergoing this death and it happens to everybody not Just the Apostle Paul sometimes we are there just walking resting driving doing
whatever think but suddenly we have these bad thoughts in our mind like this image like in this picture we can observe like Ravens and it's up to us what we going to do it doesn't matter our age it doesn't matter where we are or we been struggling with these bad thoughts because of our bad associations or our Curiosity is the same [Music] struggle but the Apostle Paul he was a very significant servant of God he had the Holy Spirit upon him and he had been struggled with this LA with this sin in his body but
there is an interesting question about this does it mean that we should be miserable all the time because of our sins and the answer is no because guess what Jehovah is merciful and he Wants us to be happy and that really touches our heart and encourage us to do our best in this struggle against sin against this nature we are not alone and we have Jehovah's help Jesus help God's word our Brotherhood so also really important and significant the holy spirit so we are not alone in our struggle against sin there is another significant fact
in is that not anybody or everybody have the same battle the same Struggle some of the friends they are struggling with bad thoughts immoral thoughts others with temper their temper they are explosive others with v vises of their last life before they become Christians but the matter is they are doing their best and we focus on this positive point they are doing and that's what this article for this weekend is trying to remind us because like we said everyone is Struggling with his own sin with his own nature with his own weakness Etc and in
the past Jehovah used some of his prophets to warn his people today Jehovah is been using the elders in the congregation and of course our Christian meetings to warning us about some dangers and it's really important the question what we going to do with the Advice we receive that's really significant and sometimes Jehovah is trying to reach our heart and that's why the Bible is reminding us at Hebrews 3:15 today if you hear his voice don't Harden your heart so that's really important don't Harden our heart it's really important it's like the doctor is explaining
the [Music] person the gravity of his sick and the person is ignoring the doctor is turning a blind I so it's really important that we avoid doing the same with Jehovah and the friends who are trying to help us and give us a hand so friends that's our W for this summary for this weekend really essential inform information we want to encourage you to be in your weekend meeting virtually or In person we hope you be safe stay safe stay awesome and hope to see you in our next broadcast so bye for now
