there's nothing more important than getting a good night's sleep repairs the cells of our body the cells have been dying throughout the day and they need to heal in order for your body to stay healthy and getting a good night's sleep will improve your mood it will help your cardiovascular system that's your heart it will help regulate blood pressure it will help your blood sugar your glucose and your insulin it will improve your mental function it will strengthen your immune system and will give you stress relief well you're able to manage stress so much easier
and getting a good night's sleep has a direct relationship with your hormones that controls your weight your ghrelin which is your hunger hormone and your leptin which is your satiety hormone but there's one specific area located behind your ear that works directly with the brain to kick up your parasympathetic nervous system the rest and digest this system is what winds you down takes away anxiety it allows you to relax and fall asleep quickly and sleep deeply through the night and when we exert pressure to the specific Gary behind our ear this is going to activate
the myelin sheath that surrounds a small peripheral nerves the myelin sheath is a covering over the nerves that helps protect it and while doing the technique this will transmit impulses to the higher nerve centers in the brain including the hypothalamus and the pituitary and the spinal cord so here's what you need to do to instantly wind down your body so you can relax get rid of that anxiety and fall asleep quicker we're going to contact a point behind your ear right here it's called the mastoid process it's that real thick bone right behind the ear
it's nice and thick I want you to go right behind that mastoid process right along behind it you'll feel a groove right in this groove you'll then take your thumb and push it right in that Groove and get in there good and once you're in that Groove you're going to go into clockwise or counterclockwise however you like but you're going to stimulate it from 100 to 200 times right before you go to bed just keep stimulating that area and that's going to kick up that parasympathetic nervous system it's going to wind you down it's going
to lower your pulse rate your respiration you're going to feel a tremendous change or everything's going to start to relax throughout your brain and body and what you can also do if you want to do both of them at the same time you can clasp your fingers like this behind your head take your thumb put it behind the mastoid process right here on both sides and just just stimulate it in circles like this at the same time 100 to 200 times you can do one at a time and then the other or you can do
them both at a time you'll explore on yourself your body will talk to you your body will tell you exactly what's going on because you're going to feel these neurological changes it's quite fascinating as we stimulate the brain and our brain starts to wind down as these hormones these neurotransmitters start to kick in so I challenge you start doing this technique before you go to bed and you will see within minutes a tremendous change on how your body starts to wind down so you can get to sleep quickly please share this with your friends and
