St Mark's gospel chapter 9 and uh I don't know if I can hoop anytime so I don't know if I'm going to just come in here hooping this morning uh but I want to leave something with you very definitely I I picked up this text in a conference not too long ago but the time was extraordinar limited and I couldn't attack it with the intensity that it deserves so as I meditated on what to talk about today the Lord directed my path to St Mark chapter 9 verse 14 I'd like you to stand with me
in the tradition of this meeting when the word of the Lord is being read this is right after the Transfiguration Jesus is coming down from the mountain and when he came to his disciples he saw a great multitude about them and the scribes questioning with them and straightway all the people when they beheld him were greatly amazed and running to him saluted him and he asked the scribes what question ye with them and one of the multitude answered and said master I have brought unto thee my son which hath a dumb spirit and wheresoever he
the spirit taketh him he teth him and he foth and nashes with his teeth and pineth away and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out and they could not he answered him and said oh faithless generation how long shall I be with you how long shall I suffer with you bring him unto me and they brought him unto him and when he saw him straight way the spirit tear him he fell on the ground and wallowed foing and he asked his father how long is it since this came unto him and
he said of a child I want you to note that and often times it hath cast him into the fire into the waters to destroy him but if thou can't do anything oh Lord have compassion on us and help us Jesus said unto him if thou can't believe not anything oh you all been preached to this week all all things are possible to him that believeth and straight way the father of the child cried out and said with tears Lord I believe help thou my unbelief couch somebody and say not just anything not just anything
all things all things God bless you you may be seated yes I want to open and just have a little discourse about faith just a little talk on faith because the the substratum or the fundamental Spirit running through this text is actually the concept of of faith Now understand that when you deal with the issue of Faith as it relates to God that faith is not an option it is not an option it is not something that we we use sort of extracurricular as we approach the whole issue of Walking with God without faith there
is no relationship with God period it's it's it's significant because it deals with the whole realm of relationship because nobody accesses God sensually all right my world in order for me to move in this world I must have senses because without senses I have no awareness or perception of my environment I have to have eyes I have to have smell I have to have taste I have to be able to touch and I must hear in order to access my world you will notice if I'm lacking in any of these senses then automatically I am
at a disadvantage as it relates to navigating in my world I want you to note the power of Satan then is more external than it is internal because Satan operates in my situation in order to send through my senses a message to my mind now on the other hand my walk with God is Not sensual because I've never seen God with my eyes I have never touched him with my hands and I don't even know what cologne he wears cuz I've never smelled him but my walk with God is spiritual it's not Material it's not
emotional it's not physical even though it is expressed in how I behave it's still is not Material physical emotional it is spiritual it's key now to understand this which means then that God through his Spirit talks to my spirit and my spirit talks to my mind I want you to see now if if that is the case then Faith deals with a reality that my eyes do not see ah let's go back over here on this side I'm connected to my world through my senses the reality of my world is sensually perceived on this side
I am connected to God by faith through my spirit God then triggers my attitude not based on my sensual perception but he triggers my attitude based on my faith in his Spirit on this side you've got to come through my senses to my mind on this side you've got to come through my spirit to my mind and where Satan deals in situation God deals in Revelation so in spite of my situation if I have Revelation I can make it through any circumstance oh I'm here with you now all right I didn't bring I didn't bring
any snacks now I brought some meat for some men is that all right uh now now you you've got to understand this that that that often times and maybe we did it to you the the the attitude is to see God in my situation if I can identify God in my circumstances then of course I can feel like I walk with God but notice this God does not go through situation to prove he has a relationship with you because he does not need the situation when he is controlling you through your spirit Satan uses the
situation to cause you to Shake in your faith but faith that shakes because of situation is faith that needs to grow in the word of God because God makes you a promise in a bad situation and expects you to praise him in the situation because of the Revelation that everything is going to work out all right I don't have to wait till the situation changes if I'm walking by Revelation because revelation will outdo situation every time oh I hope you're with me now let me slow down I I I was coming on the flight and
and it's interesting here as I was coming through the plane and and every now and then when it shakes begins to bump I just open the the the window you know just to look out and make sure that uh it's some clouds out there cuz I hate clear air turbulence it's about the worst if you're in a storm you understand now you're moving at 500 knots and you look out and it's nothing but clouds which means the pilot can't see because he can't see it doesn't stop him from flying because he's got some faith in
some instruments that says in spite of how bad it is out here I have a report that it's clear where I'm going you see the key thing is when I don't walk by sight I've got to go by faith and faith says it's all right because God is in control of the situation now whenever you walk by faith Satan can't break your back because you're trusting God in spite of what the devil is putting you through oh I feel God in here that's why the just shall not live by sight but the just shall live
by faith can I take it to another level now the the second thing here is that a lot of folk don't trust the concept of of of Faith because they're they're sight oriented they're they're they're sensual oriented and the more a person Walks With God the less they depend on sensuality because my walk with God is spiritual and as I mature spiritually my attitude becomes higher and more Visionary and more purposeful you've got to see this when I walk sensually then the situation determines how I feel if the situation is good I feel good sensual
perception if things are going right I feel right if things are are down I'm down if it's depressed I'm depressed and so Satan bounces Me Up and Down based on what I'm going through in my situation now when I walk with God it's more balanced because what God is doing is he's feeding my spirit in spite of my circumstance and there is a consistency in God because he is the same yesterday today and forever and he deals now with purpose and that is now you are not just a yoyo moving by situation but you become
purposeful because I intend for you to get from point A to point B don't look at what's going on outside look at the power of who's moving you on the inside and always cut towards your vision can I talk about vision for a minute what God does is he gives you a vision in the spirit that speaks of a reality that has not come to pass yet somebody say yet now let's talk a little bit about the reality that's not come to pass yet in the spirit you can deal with your future then you can't
deal with your future in the situation because the spirit of God takes you out of your present and gives you a vision of your tomorrow the tomorrow's vision is your possibility the today's situation is your actuality Now understand this re reality is made up of two parts actuality in a situation and possibility in Revelation are y'all with me here I live in two parts presently I'm in an awful situation and it is real but I am also privy to Revelation that says my future is brighter than my present situation so what God does is take
my eyes off where I am and puts my eyes on where I'm going oh God I hope you I hope you're with me now when he puts my eyes on where I'm going he gives me that Vision in the situation and what he's saying to me now is what you're faced with is actuality and possibility I've got you where you always say yet somebody says well do you have the house actually I don't have it but possibly it's on the way so I say I don't have it actuality yet possibility you never say I don't
have a job I don't have a job yet you never say I don't have a car I don't have a car yet you never say I'm not healed I'm not healed yet you never say I won't get the victory I haven't got the victory yet the situation is it's not here but the Revelation is it's on the way so I don't live only for now I live for tomorrow oh God I feel the presence of God the strength to this now is that there is a spirit in you that cannot be broken because the Spirit
of a man has to take him through until the day of Deliverance comes I feel like preaching all of a sudden but anyhow you you've got to understand this there has to be a spirit that drives a man until he achieves the vision anybody who allows the circumstance to shape them I think James said a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways now what he was dealing with in the context of double-mindedness was how tribulation can shake your faith in God because when Satan moves in your situation he tries to convince you that God
is not with you and when you think God is not with you it causes you to waver what God is saying is I want you to believe me in spite of what you go through I want you to believe me in spite of how many things have come against you I want you to believe me in spite of how many plans have been wrought and conspiracies to destroy you because if you focus on your vision I'll bring you through every situation and the devil can't break your spirit if you can keep your spirit from being
broken and hold on till the victory comes you will surpass and surmount any circumstance and that's why I came to Manpower not to leave here weaker but to leave here with the victory of an unbroken Spirit oh God I feel your presence understand this then that it is Satan who Wes in our circumstance to touch our attitude the thing I asked God was why you tell me all this and the answer is attitude if you will not Shake in your attitude that that you go after you will achieve but if you allow your spirit to
be broken that's why some folks no matter what you do with them you can't break them because it's not their circumstance that holds them together it's that inner power that says God will bring me out and I'll be here knocking at the door until I get a breakthrough let the storms come let the rivers rise my faith is not in my situation but it's in my Revelation that God is going to work it out and you can't be broken touch somebody real quick and tell him my spirit will not be broken I can't afford to
be broken I'm too close to my victory to allow Satan to mess with my spirit I feel God in this house I'm going to have some church today get somebody high five and tell them no broken Spirit here I still believe God let me take a little further let me work this thing a little harder here you you you you've got to understand this because you're not just onesided there is the physical pude there is the outward man but inside there's got to be some dep I got to keep going back in you and keep
going back in other words you're not as shallow as I look at your face there has to be a depth in you that says I refuse to take no for an answer there has to be a depth in you that says if you knock me down you better make sure I'm DED there's got to be a depth in you that says talking about me is not enough there's got to be a depth in you that says I was down 5 years ago but I wasn't out cuz I'm still here today there's got to be a
depth in you that after I get by your face there is a cave in you where you can reach back and pull some power and tell the devil I've been defensive for a few years but I'm getting ready to be offensive to take back what belongs to me I feel God in here this now is the spirit this is the spirit of The Man Behind the text y'all sit down I got some work to do amen this is a spirit of The Man Behind the text and you will notice that whenever there is Faith in
anybody they have to fight circumstances you never get from point A to point B without the devil on your case I I wish I could talk to you uh look at your neighbor say you thought it would be easy ah ain't nothing easy about this first of all notice God expects you to believe him so much that he leaves you in your flesh this is the intensity about walking with God is that God could have dis connected your flesh and not allowed your flesh to bother your walk with him but God is so high on
the power of His Spirit he says all right I'll leave you in the flesh I'll leave you vulnerable to situational things and put my spirit in you and expect you to overcome with a flesh that's connected oh I wish I could talk to you he didn't disconnect it I still feel what I feel you think women look ugly because I'm saved I wish I could talk to y'all y'all y'all look off for Pumpers up in here I guess I might as well bring it on in now uh do you think that I'm any less sexually
motivated because I'm Bishop Jones I didn't I ain't nothing died over here I still feel what I feel still want what I want but God says don't go by situation go by Revelation and let my word and Spirit hold you can I talk to you real Frank you got to understand that the intensity of what goes on in the flesh proves how much you love God because it's intense and when I look at what I want physically and look at what I want spiritually I've got to let what I want spiritually over come what I
want physically I don't want it to go away cuz I'm not asking God to make me frigid just before he send me some beautiful young lady oh the Devil is a Lie let it stay right there but give me the power to overcome how I feel by the power of the Holy Spirit oh God I feel it here yeah yeah I I I think I find where we live I find where we live it is faith in God that will allow you to look at your situation of having been drug lord of making that cash
pushing drugs but somehow Vision has to surpass situation can I talk to you about faith a little bit more before I go in the text there is no man in here Who Walks With God who God does not expect to give up some things for something he doesn't have yet are y'all with me somebody say yet I look at I look at Clifford here Pastor Frasier friend of mine for years and and Clifford was one of the greatest money-making computer experts when the whole thing began Cliff began with it Cliff he probably had an Apple
computer some yeah yeah had an apple now now notice something God called him to the ministry and Cliff had more money in his hand and his situation that you can imagine but God gave him a vision in his spirit and here's how God operates he expects to give you to give up what you have for something he promised are you with me now now now you want to say to God let me take what I have until I get what you promis when Cliff told me he was going full-time Ministry I said man you got
to be crazy with all the money you make but God said drop it for something I'll give you oh God I feel it can I take that point a little further sometimes you can be in the will of God and not know where you're going can I say that again Abraham God told Abraham leave the a of the Cales he says Lord where I'm going he said you just leave and I will show you where I want you to go which means you can be in the will of God and not know where you're going
oh God I feel it here I'm talking to somebody in here right now God asked Cliff to give up everything he had for something in the future Now situation says don't move but Revelation says walk because the same God that brought you what you have can give you what he want you to have now if you ask Cliff are you glad you did it his answer would be yes I'm glad because nobody loses when he gives up what God tells him for what God has in store I feel like preaching right now touch two people
real quick and said I'm right at that road right now it's some stuff I got to cut loose but I promise you for everything you cut loose God will give you double for your trouble I feel God in this house can I take it a little further when you understand this this becomes the substratum of this message the man's belief in God I brought my son here but you don't bring anything to God and the devil not try to intercept it touch two people real quick say the devil's on my case as soon as I
decided to walk with God as soon as I decided I'm going to walk with God every Hell broke loose in my life because the devil wants to mess with your situation and change your attitude if he can get to your mind he can cause you to waver and an unstable man won't get a thing from the Lord but in the middle of it if you notice right here he has to deal with the multitude because the multitude are looking on there are some people in your life who won't contribute to make your life better but
they'll stand and watch ready to judge anybody who gets anything from God has to get over what people think I feel it in here I feel it I feel it you got to get over how folk look at you God I feel something pushing me boy I'm trying to behave touch somebody say get over it get over it get over it you got to get over folks attitude because the devil uses folks attitude to bind you in your quest for your vision ah you can't make it I don't think you'll ever get there I think
you must be crazy how do you think you're going to be blessed you have everything right there the devil is a liar I have more Vision than sight I have more by faith than by sight I have more in the future than I have right now my life is not going to get worse my life is going to get better I'm on the path for better I'm going to be so much better that I'll never be bitter I feel like preaching now touch somebody say better not bitter I'm looking for better and the better I
get the less bitter I'll be because life is about better and not about bit I feel I got the devil where I want him I got him somebody just rais your foot and just boom that's where we want him right there under our feet can can I take it further I'm working awful hard today I didn't intend to work this hard but I want you to notice this he had to get over the multitude who just gawk just stare waiting to see how it comes out the second thing he's got to get over he's got
to get over the folk who are supposed to know Jesus not only do you have to get over folk in the street you got to get over church folk because church folk will stop you from seeing Jesus oh I wish I could talk to you here let me talk about men in particular sometimes our Ministries push men out instead of bring them in because of the dominating attitude that we as preachers feel we ought to have and often times the preacher will keep you from sin Jesus because his attitude is not conducive to men going
through what they go through uh can I talk like I feel it that's why Ministries that are real ought to be supported because a lot of times men look at the preacher in the same light as just another man getting over because he doesn't have the sense sensitivity to understand the reality of where people are Jesus said you got to forget my disciples and bring the boy to me I feel it in here you got to step over folk and say excuse me but I didn't come here to you I came here to see Jesus
you got to get over folk sit right in the beside you and tell them I didn't come here for your story I came here to be delivered and I'm not leaving till I get my blessing I feel God in this house oh somebody give him some praise I feel like lifting him up in here oh I'm not leaving till I get it touch three people say I'm too close I got to have mine I'm too close I can't turn around I can't let nothing get in my way I wish you talk to somebody pull on
your brother say you got to come through you got to make it you're too close you're too close you're too close I want you to see it he had to get over because now he has come to the very house and can't get the help he needs and so here's what the Lord says bring him to me now notice when the Lord begins to move in the power of His Spirit Satan begins to move in the circumstance it looks like just before the Deliverance everything gets worse it looks like just before God releases you Satan
hits you with his best punch oh God I feel it but he's hit you and you're still standing touch somebody say I'm still here I've been hit with everything but I'm still I'm still here I've been talked about but I'm still here I've been walked on but I'm still here said I'd never make it but I'm still here I ain't got the healing yet but I'm still here I haven't overcome it yet but I'm still here I haven't got through to the other side yet but I'm still I'm still here touch somebody say I'm still
a candidate touch somebody say I'm still number one Contender touch somebody say I'm still on the list I ain't got it yet yet but I'm still on the list haven't got it yet but I got to feel it something's getting ready to happen haven't got it yet but I'm anxious to get home to see just what everything has worked out to be haven't got it yet but I'm still threw everything after him everything he for get everything that he tried I feel it here everything that Satan did in the past he brought it on again
threw him down as a challenge in front of Jesus as if to say I'm going to knock him out right about now can can I I'm getting ready to close can I talk to you just for a few minutes it Mars me sometimes at what Jes Jesus asks and here he asks a question he says how long has this been going on ask your neighbor say how long has it been how long has the devil been messing with you how long has he been trying to do you in how long has it been now like
he didn't know I figured he had to know how long it's been but he asked how long and the man says since he was a child oh God I hope you see it since you were young the devil's been trying to mess your life up touch your neighbor say since I was young since I was a young man he introduced me to drugs since I was a young man he tore down my attitude since I was a young man he tried to make me feel inferior since I was a young man he stacked the deck
against me now notice what he said how long he said long time he said how often he said often times tou somebody's every chance he got he tried to mess up my life every chance he got he tried to destroy me every chance he got he tried to put me in the fire every chance he got he tried to burn me up every chance he got he tried to drown me can I show you a miracle can I tell you what a miracle is can I tell you the greatest Miracle is that as often as
he's been doing it and as long as he's tried you're still still here I feel like shouting I feel like preaching now touch somebody say he's tried it since I was a child and he tried it often but I'm still I'm still here I'm still here I've been through hell but I'm still here I've been through the fire but I'm still here because God knows it's Miracle time touch somebody say it's Miracle time it's Miracle time I've been to Hell but I'm still here I've been to jail but I'm still here because God had to
keep me through the fire through the water in order to deliver me but I'm so messed up in my mind that I don't know how much he will do so here's what the father said he said if thou can't do anything touch your brother say we ain't sorry for you CU you getting ready to be blessed I ain't sorry for you are you getting ready to be delivered I'm not sorry for you he's getting ready to bring you out and the reason he's held you together for so long is the miracle is about to take
place he said if you can believe I can give you everything get somebody high five say not just anything but everything I don't just need a car in a driveway I need power in my soul I just don't need a woman in my bed but I need everything that life can afford can I preach like I feel it touch somebody say God is getting ready to sweep everything out and put everything in if thou can't believe you'll walk out of here with a whole new life if thou can't believe you go home with a total
new attitude if thou can't believe everything that the devil threw at you is over touch somebody say I believe God I believe I believe it's my time he's tell me through the rough time in order to give me the Victory and victory shall be mine I can talk it I can sing it I can honor it because it's my time it's my time and I heard it when he said no weapon formed against you shout hallelujah H God bless you today God bless you today go home with a man of mind go home believe in
God I shall overcome touch somebody say I sorry for you God's kept you this long I ain't sorry for you you shall overcome I'm not sorry for you this is not a house of pity this is a house of Praise touch three people holler is done it's done it's done he's healed delivered set free sh sh sh things Happ oh just not just anything not just anything just just what all things not just anything but all not just [Applause] anything been through so much until I can satisfy with anything but the Lord said you're not
talking to an anything [Applause] God he said if you [Music] can't I'll do all things the man says to Jesus if you can do any uhuh uh uh uh uh uh H come on I'm not just an anything I didn't bring you through all the hell you've been through just to do anything I brought you through to [Applause] do I want you to find one person and take them by both hands around the altar wherever you [Music] are there are so many things that need to be fixed Lord I believe Lord I believe all things
are possible possible Lord I believe Lord I believe Lord I believe all things are possible oh [Music] I want as you're holding these hands there are so many things that need to be fixed in your life that you can't make a [Music] choice as to what it is that's why we're saying to the Lord Lord I help my unbelief I Rose to tell you there's nothing that God can't fix in your life I want you to hold one hand father in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus I rebuke doubt I rebuke doubt
right now I rebuke every Spirit of low self-esteem that's running through this building right now I come against it in the name of Jesus I rebuke sadness I rebuke depression I rebuke helplessness in the name of Jesus I rebuke that right now squeeze your other hand squeeze your hand I loose power I loose Vision I loose Direction I loose your anointing on every man in this room and I claim the victory right now in the name of Jesus bring my brother out set him free everything that his faith can Encompass let it come to pass
in the name of Jesus and thank you right somebody give God some praise all things I believe I believe God not anything but all things and God has not brought you to this point just to toss you anything he said but you believe that I sustained you through it all I was the power that held you together for the miracle day and God is going to enrich your life like you have never been enriched and you trust him for that you believe him for that you just believe God for every great touch in the name
of Jesus Lord God I believe God as you head to your sins As you move to your seity
