what are the first steps to do when you are starting a business in this video I want to share with you what you got to think about some considerations if you are thinking about starting your business and this is your first time maybe you are currently working for a company and you want to transition into becoming Your Own Boss starting your own business becoming an entrepreneur and you are just wondering well what do I do first what is the first thing that I got to do so that's what I want to share with you in
this video you see when you are starting a business you want to build a business to succeed and I understand that there's a lot of Statistics out there that show you that 90% of businesses or 95% of businesses fail within the first year and it might seem kind of scary and it might seem that there is a lot of risk but here's the thing if you want change in your life if you want to take your life to the next level if you want to have a career transition there has to be there will be
some risks that you will take but you got to wait for yourself if those risks for you are worthwhile and sometimes if we are too risk aders we end up missing out on those opportunities that might give us us the life that we want or might help us to build the Legacy that we want or might give us the ability to provide for ourselves and to provide for our families the way we that we want to right so that is the first thing is to consider what is the possibility what are the opportunities that are
open to you if you are to continue or to start on this journey most people when they are about to make a change in their career or about to make a big transition or big decision like starting a business what they end up thinking and what think what the the biggest thing that prevents them from making that decision and moving forward with it is the question in their minds about well what if this doesn't work right I mentioned about the statistics of businesses failing and see you see if you're asking yourself that question even on
on a subconscious level what if this doesn't work you know what if I fail what if what if then you're asking yourself the wrong question instead of asking yourself what if this doesn't work the way to really explore your soul and your desire to do this is to ask yourself a different question and I submit to you that another question that you can ask is to ask yourself what if it does work what would my life look like if this does work how much better would I be able to provide for myself and my family
if this does work how awesome would my life be my future be if this does work right so the first step is to make those considerations and to really reflect on why are if you are risk adverse to this if you are hesitating why are you hesitating and what do you stand to gain if this does work what do you stand to gain if you make the decision to go along this journey so that is the first step the second step to starting a business right this is still within the first step but within the
umbrella of the first step so the second thing the second thing you want to do within this first step is to really know who you are right because we want fulfillment right the purpose of starting a business is to make a profit but we want to be happy when we're doing so there's no sense in making a bunch of money in business and not being happy along the way and there's no sense in starting a business and going along the journey if we're not going to be if we're not going to enjoy the process because
starting a successful U business is an event right being successful sorry is is a process it's not an event being successful is a process it's not an event so you have to enjoy the process and you have to enjoy being a business owner being an entrepreneur right so the F so then this is what you got to do really get to know who you are know who you are know what your purpose in life is know what your passion in life is and know your proclivity proclivity is the things that what you're good at doing
right because you want to be good at it so that you can deliver the promises that you're going to give to your future clients to give them the result that they desire yet to be able to deliver on that right so proclivity is very important because your fulfillment as an entrepreneur is at the intersection of those three things is at the intersection of your purpose your passion and your privity so know who you are know who you are and what you can bring into that Marketplace so that when you make a decision to become an
entrepreneur when you make a decision for that career transition that you are making it with your full identity knowing what you can deliver the value you can bring and also feeling like you are on your mission feeling that you are on your purpose and in your purpose and that will bring you fulfillment because once you've discovered that sweet spot the intersection of all those three things then you can know that that is where your fulfillment lies in that space right your fulfillment your feeling of safety your feeling of being on point you're feeling of being
in flow is at the intersection of those three things but the fourth thing is that you also must turn a profit because even though you are in your purpose you are passionate about what you're doing and you are good at it if you are not making money if your business is not making money you will still struggle you will still find you you you will you will find it difficult to move forward if you are not turning a profit but the way to make a profit goes back to the first point what is it that
you can put into the marketplace how is it that you can help the people you want to serve and the bigger problem that you can solve for them the more more likely it is that they will buy from you and so if you can figure out a way to solve someone else's problem a very important life or business or career or relationship problem or help them to improve their future then you will have a business and you will be successful but you have to figure out where is that intersection for you so know yourself maybe
you're listening to this and you're thinking I am so disappointed I want to know the strategies give me the business strategies right so that'ss you and you're like this is not what I expected I want to know the strategies I want to know the best strategies so that I can start my business and start strong and grow my business and be successful here's the thing even if I give you the best strategies that are current that are modern right now and I kept continuing to give you proven strategies that worked it doesn't matter if you're
not the person that can work them the first step is you got to become the person who can work those strategies it's not just about your willingness right if you're listening and you're and you're dedicated and you're committed to starting your own business that is your willingness to start is your willingness to implement but you got to be both willing and able right so the one of the biggest mistakes that entrepreneurs make is they jump in and immediately they want to go straight to strategies the strategies won't work if you don't know yet how to
work them right so this is the first step for you is to first to make those considerations if you are risk adverse if you are scared to fail if you're asking yourself this doesn't work so make those considerations and then the next thing is to figure out who you are who you're going to serve from who you are your identity as an entrepreneur and what is that value you're going to put in that Marketplace that is the first step if you start jumping into strategies right now just start implementing and start doing you will find
