I found the scariest animal mouths in the world welcome back Charlie here from animals with thousands of teeth two animals who have teeth so sharp they can bite through metal the first terrifying animal mouth we have to look at is the goblin shark these guys have a scary name and an even scarier mouth they're known as the second most ugly animal in the world after the Blobfish they have loads of tiny razor sharp teeth the unique thing about the goblin shark is their jaws jump out at you goblin sharks can detach their jaws allowing them
to eat their entire prey in one bite their mouth can move at 10 ft per second they really do seem like creatures from another planet I thought getting eaten by a great white shark was the worst way to go out but perhaps getting eaten by a goblin shark would be even more terrifying but an animal with even sharper teeth is the Vampire Fish these guys are even scarier than piranhas vampire fish are mainly found in the Amazon not that Amazon this one they have 6in fang-like teeth which is where they get their name they literally
have holes in their mouth to fit these gigantic teeth these guys are apex predators known for eliminating prey in seconds their sharp teeth can Pierce through scales like it's nothing an animal with an even scarier mouth is the Lampe Lampe don't have Jaws or even a skull but they don't need them because their mouth is so scary their mouth is like a suction cup filled with teeth lampas are actually parasites meaning it bites into a bigger animal's body and slowly devours it it does this by sucking the blood from its host despite their small size
they're actually Alpha Predators eliminating animals far bigger than them they sometimes even latch onto humans an even scarier mouth belongs to the leatherback sea turtle you might think Turtles are cute but the inside of their mouths definitely aren't leatherback sea turtles have spikes all the way from their mouths into their gut these spikes are called papal the reason Turtles need these is because they like to eat jellyfish jellyfish have no bones and therefore are very soft this means Turtles don't need Super sharp teeth at the front of their mouth but they use these spikes to
make sure jellyfish can't swim back out literally trapping them inside the turtle's mouth a jellyfish is only around 20 calories which is why leatherback sea turtles eat 3 to 600 jellyfish per day now you understand why they need these scary mouths an animal with an even scarier mouth is camels these guys mouths are so tough they can literally eat cacti that sounds like a painful dare to us humans but to camels it's lunch camels teeth are even strong enough to crush word they also have tiny spikes covering their entire mouth which allows them to eat
almost anything fun fact if camels get angry they spit at you so don't mess with camels an even weirder animal you should never mess with is the bobbit worm yes that is its actual name and they have one of the scariest mouths in the animal kingdom if a fish swims anywhere near this worm it will strike clamping down its razor sharp jaws and eliminating the fish in an instant bobbit worms have the scary combination of sharp teeth and muscular mouths their mouths can be double the length of a human arm this allows bobbit worms to
devour huge animals bobbit worms teeth also release a very deadly toxin to humans this can cause severe skin irritation and to other animals it can poison them and end their life an animal with an even scarier mouth is the tiger tigers are famously scary animals but I bet you don't realize how scary their mouths actually are they have one of the strongest bites on the planet coming in at 1,200 lb per square in that's over 7 times as strong as a human spite Force tigers have needle likee spikes on their tongues they use these to
strip Fur and Feathers from their prey before chowing down to eat them cats actually have a smaller less sharp version on their tongues tiger te are so sharp they can eliminate another animal with one bite to the neck an animal with an even stronger bite force are hippos the hippopotamus has the strongest bite force of all land animals coming in at 1,820 lb per square in their mouths are also absolutely huge they can open their mouths a full 180° they often do this to scare off other animals they can even crush the head of a
tiger or lion with their massive Jaws hippos have super thick strong teeth and can defeat animals both on land and in water speaking of water animals we have to look at the fang tooth you know an animal is going to have a scary mouth when it's literally called the fang tooth this animal's teeth are so big it can't even close its mouth it has the biggest teeth proportionate to its body size out of any underwater animal this allows them to catch prey much bigger than they are their teeth are also super sharp meaning even much
bigger fish are afraid of the fang tooth these guys are like piranhas on steroids but an even creepier mouth belongs to the black mber black mambers have totally black mouths and teeth their teeth are Hol that may not sound threatening but the reason is scary hidden inside their Hollow teeth is deadly venom just one bite can shoot Venom into your system shutting down your nervous system and paralyzing you before ending your life in a matter of minutes so if you see a snake with a jet black mouth run away very fast but a was Scara
mouth belongs to the Basking shark a basking shark's mouth is so big it extends past its eyes basking sharks have hundreds of hooked teeth all over their mouths their mouths look like a portal to another world they have a bite force of around 4,000 PSI and are found in waters literally all over the world including off the coast of the USA UK and Australia an even creepier animal mouth belongs to Penguins if you think penguins are cute then think again the inside of their mouths are made up of pink spikes they have teeth on the
inside of their beaks on their cheeks tongue and all the way down to their gut but why is this well Penguins consume all of their food while it's still alive these spikes mean the fish they consume won't swim back out so don't think penguins are purely cute and harmless they have one of the creepiest mouths known to man but it's nothing compared to the mouth of a cookie cutter shark these sharks get their name from their mouths cookie cutter sharks are small but deadly they show up in deep Waters late at night devouring animals with
their super sharp teeth as their name suggests their teeth resemble cookie cutters cookie cutter sharks even eat much larger animals they do this by biting and latching onto them before biting out chunks of Flesh these miniature sharks really are the stuff of nightmares an animal with a surprisingly scary mouth are sea urchins sea urchins teeth are so strong they literally eat rocks their teeth can even sharpen and regrow they have five of these very sharp teeth they can bite humans and some even have venomous bites these can trigger reactions in humans ranging from mild to
lethal who knew sea urchin were so dangerous another animal with a surprisingly scary mouth is horses horses bite humans and animals they perceive as dangerous they have very muscular Jewels giving them a bite force of 500 per square in they have 44 large teeth which are strong enough to bind wood and other material speaking of wood we have to look at the Woodpecker you wouldn't imagine this bird has such a scary mouth but take a closer look a woodpecker's tongue is three times the length of its beak it's so long that when it shuts its
