[Music] so look let's actually flash back real quick to what happened in the last few episodes of the whale season welcome to whale season episode three i'm going to show you how to actually find your first will client you know you learned so much in the last episode you know you're itching you're wondering okay i have my agency set up with everything that was learned in the last module but Like how do i find clients maybe two three hours a week and it pulls in at the moment anywhere from 100 to 150 thousand dollars now

the time we just throw it out and decide hey we're gonna do it on our own instead but in today's episode i really want us to take a you know 100 page booklet and really just give you the five most important pages and the five principles that you really need to Follow in order to get to 10k a month as quickly as possible with your agency now i touched on this briefly but i think it's kind of important to revisit everyone has their origin story right everyone has a reason why they start their business you

know for some people it's just because you know they're just very competitive right and they want a new challenge for some people it's because they always just have a photo you know on their phone wallpaper some People they've always got a lamborghini as their desktop wallpaper and that's their dream mine was a little bit more simple i had a pretty tough childhood growing up single mom very common story you know it's not really um it's not really anything unique or special so for me it was as simple as first things first can we get off

of government benefits now for those of you guys don't know what government benefits is it's kind of Like the american version of welfare you know we bounced between that my mom worked for the nhs as a receptionist actually um and a couple retail jobs and the point is it really was out of necessity then it was can i give her a good life can i do things like take her to paris which was a dream of hers for decades and decades and decades you know she'd never been to paris before it was a case of

hey if there was a nice birthday coming Up could i spend a few hundred dollars and just get her something nice or take her to a really nice dinner then after that it was about can i give her the life that i've always promised her when i was younger i was promised her when i was younger i will take care of you i will buy you a range rover i will do this i'll do that and i i genuinely believed in my heart of hearts and and that's what my agency has allowed me to do

it's allowed me to buy her a forty Thousand dollar patek philippe nautilus it's allowed me to literally dress her head to toe in chanel it's allowed me to quite frankly fully retire her right now my mom is actually i'm not gonna say how many floors up but i got my mom a place in my building here in dubai she actually lives here now for six months so i got her a place so she could be close to me and she flew out first class suite and to me that was always my ultimate goal my ultimate

dream to not Only take care of my mom but make sure that wherever i am in the world and you know even if i'm 40 i'm 50 i have a family i have kids my mother is always close to me my mother is also part of my life um and she's living the good life and yeah i think i think we can say that she's at that point now so that's a little bit of a backstory of why at the age of 16 i decided hey i think i'm gonna start a business and you know

That's where it's led us here today and as i said the reason that i revisited this is because i think it's almost important that you honor your origin story your origin story though your origin story could literally be that you know you come from a very wealthy family and you just didn't want to be in your dad's shadow you know that's baller in my opinion like that's so cool Whatever your story is or however you arrive to this point honor it because it's going to be something that in 5 or ten years you're gonna look

back and you're gonna tell people how you well quite frankly how you became a millionaire multi-millionaire this is the stories you're gonna be telling in 10 15 20 years so as i said in today's module i'm going to be showing the cheat code to hitting 10 000 a month with your agency As quick as humanly possible and we're not going to be talking today about lead sourcing service delivery or even mindset i've actually saved those topics for next week's two bonus episodes i'm giving you as well as the three live q a calls that i'll

be hosting instead what i'm gonna do is i'm actually gonna show you the five most common traits i've personally seen with students making over ten thousand dollars a month with their agency so as i said this is such a Large sample size of people that i've personally mentored and helped over the space last few years to get to ten thousand twenty thousand fifty thousand hundred thousand we even have students making over a hundred and fifty thousand dollars a month in profit from their agency so really what i wanna do today is i wanna dig into

the science of success so let's go ahead and give you the five principles to hitting ten thousand dollars a month with your Agency now principle number one is learn then take action straight away now one of the biggest principles for success is learning something and then actioning it straight away i think a large reason why people struggle with this is because it's not really taught in school you know in in school everything's just thrown at you right and you don't really need to do much right you know you might need to regurgitate it and you

know say it off Word for word but in terms of actually taking action this is something that people struggle with and it's not really taught now that was one of my advantages that i actually had when i was 17 years old and managed to scale my agency to 25 000 a month profit was i just kind of blindly took action that was a blessing and a curse a curse because i made so many mistakes like it was everything that i laugh at now you know sending proposals manually doing Invoices free trials like all the stuff

that i laugh at now i did in 2017. as i said i really made every mistake in the book but i was just throwing [ __ ] at the wall and hoping that something would stick and the thing is if you do that enough it will stick but kind of like that analogy that i used earlier i bought the ikea furniture right i bought i bought it i had it but except in my package i had no instruction manual you Know in 2017 and 2016 you know i actually started my agency there was no real

manual out there there really were no people who had actually been in the trenches and could give good solid advice and this is a massive and really you know let the sink in a massive competitive advantage that you have is that you have the step-by-step playbook right i'm giving it all to you all you need to do is simply action it you simply need to apply it with the Same faith and focus that i had and that's why whenever i teach something and even within this whale season a big aspect for me is how can

i add some sort of action step or next thing that someone does once they learn it because it's not enough to just sit passively and learn so really remember that learn and then take action straight away principle number two is join a winning community look entrepreneurship is lonely as [ __ ] right this is why it's so Powerful to have someone with you along that journey you know someone to experience the lows the eyes etc etc and someone who really understands where you're coming from and with the way that things are today you have the

entire world to become those close friends and confidants that you can confide in but unfortunately it's easier said than done you see when you find a community that you feel aligned with or some sort of accountability partner the extra turbo Charge of energy that it gives you is insane innate drive is important yes of course but having you know having something outside of yourself to drive you and push you forward like that is it's so immensely powerful you know and as humans one of the best ways that we learn and grow is by coming together

in communities and really aiding and supporting each other so the people that i've seen grow to 10 000 a month with Their agency in the quickest time possible they've all made friends in their community and in the space right they have people that they talk with every single day that they network with that they share ideas with even me back in 2016 there wasn't this sort of community and there wasn't the understanding of the agency business mall that there is today so i used to literally dm people on instagram and just make digital friends that

were also In the agency space and you know that was basically what i did you know i didn't really fit in in school i didn't really have many friends in school i'm sure i could have if i tried but i just didn't really feel like anyone understood me so these kind of were my friends and at the end of every single day i would tell them did i accomplish my tasks for that day and what are my Tasks the next day and they would do the same and we would keep each other accountable so the

second principle is join a winning community because it is one of the biggest factors for accelerating your success principle number three is dial in your service delivery this is consistently the thing that gives people the most anxiety but it really shouldn't because i give you guys all the tools you need to have incredible service delivery i mean two Episodes ago i literally gave you a step-by-step guide on how to find a performance marketer now obviously if you do email marketing then you know you find an email marketer or you know if you have a creative

agency like i did back in 2016 2017 then you know you find someone a videographer an editor whatever it is the point is you find someone who comes on as a team member you charge at least double what they're charging you to your clients you know This is literally what i was doing all the way up until 2018 uh with danny who's actually my current day cmo back up until you know from the beginning of 2018 towards the end of 2018 when i started signing some clients that were over five figures a month so they

were literally paying over ten thousand dollars a month and danny was charging me six hundred dollars per month per client right and then that's when he ended up coming on full time he Was already managing a few clients et cetera et cetera and before danny and i were working together he was charging local businesses in colombia 200 per month okay so it made way more sense for him to work with me because i was bringing in those international clients and really you shouldn't feel weird about this as i said when you bring someone on as

a team member right and that team member structure is they charge you per month per client you are Literally the same as that new york agency all that big elusive new york agency is doing is they're having interns you know some cheap interns or maybe some free interns or you know some paid people you know at twenty five hundred dollars a month three thousand dollars a month you know maybe maybe if they're getting paid really well four thousand dollars a month and they're charging uh clients 150 000 a month you know big corporate clients 150

100 300 000 a month they're doing the exact same thing right and for each of these clients you know maybe they only need you know uh three or four full-time people think about that three or four full-time people you know maybe that the cost for that uh that client account uh in terms of uh staff is ten thousand and they're charging a hundred thousand a hundred fifty three hundred thousand so understand that when you bring on a team member you are the same as these eight Figure and nine figure agencies okay now i still believe

that it is good for you to actually understand service delivery you know i think that actually makes you a better salesperson and i've been coming more and more to this realization over the years which is why in my latest program i actually made 49 service delivery modules the first service delivery section which is phase six it's actually split up into four mini phases because there's so many modules because As i said while i don't really believe or think it's a smart idea for you to deliver the services yourself the more you can understand about how

to deliver it it makes it you know it makes a lot easier when you go to sell but i'm going on a bit of attention here the main point is service delivery is something that you should focus on and make sure is a good but it's not something to stress about because there's no reason to be stressed About it because quite simply finding a team member has never been easier before and i've given you all the tools in order to do that and if you really want to deliver the services yourself well i made the

best service delivery training that's out there full salt 49 modules it's actually insane so principle number three is dial in your service delivery principle number four is gamify your agency journey all right ladies and gentlemen enjoy the journey smile reward Yourself this is one of the biggest issues i see in the entrepreneurship space you need to be your own biggest supporter be your own biggest fan and when i was first starting off with my agency whenever i signed a client i would reward myself by buying something that would make me even more excited to work

you know for example a nice chair or a nicer computer or a nice mic or a nice headphones anything that would just make me more excited to sit down at my Desk and work even more and you know this really builds a positive feedback loop and then in terms of some of the nicer things that i bought for example you know i bought myself a rolex when i was 18. stuff like that i waited until certain agency benchmarks until i rewarded myself with some of those flashier things now outside of that i also spent some

time having some healthy competition with my peers remember all Those little online friends i made well we would share our numbers and we would share what our agencies were doing on a monthly basis and we'd have a little bit of healthy competition between us and that was something that i kept in mind when i actually built out the new leaderboard function in the new grow agency custom platform you know this is a feature where when you sign a new client and win a new client retainer not only when you sign a new client but you

Know let's say the seventh month retainer comes in or you know you let's say a client's billing you for 15 months you know when that 15 month retainer comes in it's an opportunity for you to put it in the platform and we have massive massive prizes uh the first prize is actually a rolex so the person who signs the most clients this year actually gets a rolex play but yeah there's some very very cool prizes indeed and that all ties into this whole Thing of gamifying and gamifying and community and a little bit of healthy

competition so however you personally decide to kind of make your agency journey a little bit more like a video game the big thing is as i said just enjoy it smile a little more have more fun you know be your own biggest supporter now principle number five is find a guiding mentor and i'd say this is probably the most important principle out of all them because if you just get This principle right everything else falls in place you need to find a guiding mentor we've got someone like steve jobs who actually mentored mark zuckerberg we

have warren buffett who mentored bill gates we've even got christian dior who mentored yves saint laurent imagine that you could have the shortcut to years and years of trials and tribulations by someone who has been through the process already it truly is the biggest hack on earth when you find Someone you trust someone that you know can get you to your desired goal it's like this massive weight off your shoulders it feels like almost half of the job has been done because you know that no matter how crazy how wild things get this person has

been through it and they'll guide you through it and i would love to be your mentor you know i would love to hold your hand and literally walk you to ten thousand dollars a month with your online business i'm gonna take All of your worries concerns fears doubts i'm gonna put them in a nice cute little box i'm gonna take a hammer i'm gonna smash them and i'm gonna make sure that you feel safe and secure knowing that you have all the guidance that you need to get to this goal and that together you and

think about any worries or concerns you have maybe even any doubts still keep your eyes closed finally i want you to imagine me watching over your shoulder i want you to imagine me literally in the room while you're going through this How nice does it feel to have someone there for you that is what agency navigator is and before i run you through this incredible program let's run through a little exercise together real quick let's do some math because most people have no idea how easy it is to make a hundred thousand dollars a year

a little bit about what went into making this possible the two years of insane pain struggle money effort time doubt on my part and my massive team's part to bring this to you today this was almost two years of intense work from not only my side but my team side Because everything that we're doing at the agency to the state all of that gets updated real time in agency navigator this is literally the culmination of me running my agency for five years everything that's worked not worked you know the trials the tribulations it's all gone

you can start to basically plan out and map out all of The things in the year so we are in currently in october so let's say my you know my objective this month is uh re uh do um 300 cold calls okay so that's one objective for the month and then let's say a small to do is just set up g suite right as an example right so that'll be your small to do and When you actually come into your daily task you've actually got your month objective so every day when you're setting your objective

um or every day when you're mapping out your day uh you'll have your actual monthly objective there so it's you know it's a very smart intuitive tool here you've got your outreach tracker and then this is once again where you're Gonna track every single attempt now you can actually change uh some of these right um so cold call cold email call messaging cold audit cold walk-in cold other um and as i said you'll be able to see from a year view uh exactly how much outreach you've been doing audience size budget calculator once again this
