While cleaning a table, a waitress found a forgotten wallet. She handed it to her boss. Inside was $5,000 in cash.
His eyes widened. "I'll make sure the owner gets it," he said, smiling. The waitress didn't trust him, so she looked around and saw her colleague observing.
Next day, the owner came looking for it. The waiter brought him to the manager, but he denied receiving any wallet. Shocked, she invited her colleague.
"Tell him what you saw. " "Of course," she didn't hand it over. "I saw her stuffing it in her bag," the colleague said.
She was surprised. "If you ever find the wallet in my bag, fire me. " But when they searched, surprisingly, the wallet was inside her bag, empty.
"I didn't do it, I swear," she said firmly. "I overheard her talking about her issues with rent," her colleague added. "Call the cops and let me have a word with her," the owner said.
Minutes later, she rushed into her boss's office. "Please, I don't want to go to jail. Then give me your 4 months pay and I'll handle it.
" Crying, she agreed and left. Suddenly, the cops arrived. The boss shouted, "Arest her.
She's the thief. " But the owner smiled. Funny enough, I've heard many complaints about you.
I'm the real owner of this restaurant and this lady was secretly recording your conversation earlier. You don't deserve to manage my restaurant, so she's my new manager. Officers, arrest him and that other liar.
Comment yes if they got what they deserved.
