late the owner of the house had woken up holding a baseball bat he rushed into the room his face red with anger don't move or I'll call the police he yelled gripping the bat tightly but the older Thief stayed calm keep playing he told the young Thief don't pay attention to him the young Thief couldn't believe how relaxed the older Thief seemed how could he act so cool when they were caught the house owner called the police when the officers arrived they saw a strange sight two men sitting at a table with cards glasses of
wine and piles of money and jewels the TV was on showing a late night show the house owner pointed at the thieves and shouted these are the robbers who broke in and stole my things the older Thief stood up and spoke to the officer to everyone's surprise sir this man is lying he asked us to come here to gamble but when he lost all his money and jewelry he got mad and threatened to call the police unless we gave everything back back the officer looked at the scene carefully there were cards wine glasses money jewels
and the TV still on it really looked like a gambling game gone wrong this looks bad for you the officer said to the house owner it seems like you were gambling in your own house and now you're blaming these men for stealing if you lie again I will arrest you as the officer prepared to leave the older Thief said sir please don't leave us here this man might hurt us if you go the officer nodded and agreed to escort the two thieves out of the house and guess what the thieves left with all the stolen
