Ana after the big selection at the stadium in snitz not much happened for a while but then suddenly in 1943 the Nazis ordered all remaining Jews in snitz to move to shoda a nearby town the spiegelman and zilberberg had to squeeze into a small cottage boy it was tight but they were the lucky ones many Jews were now homeless even though they couldn't live in snitz anymore they still had to work for the Germans there vladic went with his nephew Loch to work in a woodwork shop Anya and her sister tsha worked in a clothing

way of Escape Tasha had one final option suicide prepared for the worst she always carried some poison with her so she killed killed the three children bib LNA and rishu and then herself what a tragedy but Vlad and Anya didn't find out about this right away in schroda they were still desperate for places to hide but thanks to vlad's Ingenuity the five of them including Ana's parents and her nephew lock hid in a bunker disguised as coal storage when the Germans came to search the cellar their dogs could smell something but they just couldn't find
them clever vladic over the next few months the spiegelman and zilberberg continued this deadly cat and mouse game they moved houses and made new bunkers they only left to search for food and there wasn't much of that around but eventually their luck ran out one night a stranger appeared below their bunker when they pulled him in he claimed to be looking for food for his family he was a traitor and went straight to the Nazis how Despicable that afternoon the Gestapo came to round them up they were trapped in a fenced off part of schroda
with 200 other Jews but all hope was not yet lost every Wednesday the Vans to aitz came they'd been caught on a Thursday day which meant they had 6 days to plan their escape soon enough an opportunity arose vladic had spotted his cousin Yakov on the other side of the fence but now it was every man for himself and Yakov would only help if vladic could pay him Yakov came through and the following day another cousin named hll agreed to help them in return for Mr zilberberg Jewels however haskel only smuggled Loch Ana and vladic
out leaving Mr and Mrs zilberberg inside his excuse was that they were too old but vladic could see that Haskell was a crook and Anya had to watch her parents being driven away to their deaths Ana vladek and lock returned to a very sparsely populated Schroder hcal was the big man in town even the nais liked him he arranged for vladic to have a job at the local shoe factory with his brothers Milo and pesar milock was a nice guy pesach not so much haskel was so powerful that he arranged the murder of the traitor
who' busted the zilberberg bunker Ana and vladic had been saved from the jaws of death before and now they needed to rescue themselves again but cousin miloch had a plan he he created a bunker that was hidden by a giant pile of shoes with the village almost empty it was soon their turn to be sent to aitz so they hid sadly vladek's nephew lck refused to hide he thought the Nazis would let him live because he was a skilled worker but he was rounded up with the rest of Schroder's Jews and taken to aitz it
was around this time that vladic and Ana finally heard the terrible news about little reichu ANA gave up on life and vladek struggled to reason with her they had to survive together but how long could they survive in Milo's bunker without food they would soon starve to death husel and Milo's brother Pak became desperate he bribed a guard to look the other way while some of them tried to escape but vladek didn't trust the Nazis sadly he was right and pak's group was shot dead after a few days vladic noticed that schroda was empty even
the Nazis had left so he Ana Milo and the remaining few crept out of the bunker and escaped they'd done it again but now they had nowhere to go disguised as poles they walked towards the only place they knew snitz back in the present day vladek is having major dramas with Mara she thinks vladek is a cheap skate which drives her crazy and vladic thinks Mara is only after his money which makes him resentful towards her so artti is now stuck in the middle of their marital issues but let's get back to 1944 vladek and
Ana crept back to snitz their old Hometown under the cover of night they had to find a place to hide before morning when they came to the house of ru's former Nanny Yanina they hoped she would take them in but she was afraid they would bring trouble and slammed the door in their faces Ana had an idea they tried Mr zilberberg old house and found their longtime janitor Mr lovsky was still there thankfully he agreed to help them temporarily so Ana and vladek snuck round the back and hid in the shed but this was only
temporary a mean old woman had already recognized them vladic left to look for another Hideout but sensed someone was following him when the man spoke he said something in Hebrew the man was Jewish he was also riding with his wife in snitz and told vladic where to buy food on the black market so vladic followed his advice this was a lucky break a woman appeared out of the Shadows selling food and not just any food sausages eggs milk and chocolate vladic was husband of the century for bringing home that breakfast the food was so good
vladic felt it was worth the risk to go back on his way he recognized some old friends who suggested that he and Ana hide with Mrs kavka she had a small farm with a barn the only catch was that they had to share it with her cow it was safe for a while but they needed to find somewhere warmer for the winter during his shopping trips to the secret Market Vlad made friends with Mrs mova the spiegelman could stay with her and her son in soit 20 kilometers away much comfier than a cowb all was
well until Mrs mova got searched by the gapo at the black market she thought the Nazis would search her home next and find Ana and vladic so she kicked them out with no place to go the couple walked around the streets for hours with morning appr approaching and no other choice they went back to Mrs kava's Barn realizing she'd overreacted Mrs mova invited the spigelman back to her place this was nice of her but vladic also paid her very well so back to soia nit they went only to find out that Mrs M noa's husband
was returning from Germany he wasn't supposed to know about his wife's guests so they hid in her Cellar for 10 days with giant rats yikes at least it wasn't freezing down there after a while vladek got the idea of escaping to hungry he was convinced they'd be safer there although Ana and Mrs mova strongly disagreed but vlad's mind was made up before they left vladic wanted to return the favor his cousin Milo had done him in shoda remember his shoe bunker vladic went to see if Milo and his family wanted to stay with Mrs mova
when they went to Hungary Milo was so grateful they'd been living in a tiny bunker inside a garbage hole after finally convincing Ana to go to Hungary with him vladic arranged it with some Polish Smugglers it wasn't legal but these were were desperate times a short way into their Journey the train was raided by the Gestapo instead of arranging safe passage to Hungary the Smugglers had sold them out to the Nazis Ana was right if only they'd stayed with Mrs moonova instead Milo's family stayed safe with her the rest of the war the spigelman were
marched off the train at Belco to the prison there what added salt to the wound was that this was the place where Vlad and Ana had lived happily before the war a few days later they were brought to a place they hoped to never see aitz Escape was now almost impossible and a painful Road lay ahead for the couple even worse each of them would have to endure it alone will the spiegelman survive can Ana and vladic defy the odds stay tuned to find out we hope you enjoyed this schooling online production for more easy
